The food was delicious, as always. However, dishes at the grill can sometimes be overcooked... but that's very rare. The selection has something for everyone. Unfortunately, I lost one point because I witnessed children sinking their empty marshmallows at the chocolate fountain like submarines during the Cold War. The wooden stick found its place right next to it. The hot water container from the ice cream scoop was also being misused for wiping their mouths. I also didn't find it particularly amusing to see children hanging upside down from the ice cream in the freezer. While you're supposed to keep a cool head on warm days, please don't sit in it. I think more attention should be paid to hygiene there. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.

The value for money here is excellent. For the price you pay, everyone gets a very decent buffet with everything they need. We were very satisfied. One point deducted for the unfortunately not-so-clean restrooms. Toilet paper was already on the floor at 7 p.m., etc. What will it be like later?

An Asian restaurant with a wide selection of dishes on the buffet! I tried the different options and was initially impressed by the variety. However, I noticed that some dishes weren't cooked all the way through, which worried me a bit. I also found some fatty tissue here and there that I thought should have been trimmed. Nevertheless, the value for money is okay, but I hope the restaurant can improve the quality of its dishes. 3.5 stars.

Unfortunately, the restaurant has declined considerably. There's no sign of its former freshness. The product quality leaves much to be desired – many ingredients no longer seem fresh and the taste is rather average. Overall, it wasn't a convincing experience, so I can't recommend the restaurant at this time.

Beautiful restaurant with delicious food and a very large selection. The staff is always very friendly. We ate there again today (September 6, 2025). As always, it was very tasty, and you have three hours to enjoy your lunch buffet. That's enough time to really fill you up☝️☝️😇😇.

Not recommended. We had to wait forever for drinks, and when we asked, the waitress brought the wrong drink and simply shoved it on the table. It was very loud, the selection was meager for a Sunday. And the waiter even expected a tip. Service was more like -5; the robot did a better job than the other employees.

It's a pity you can't give minus 0, the staff, especially the man who deceives customers by saying that water is free, later when paying he adds it to the bill as 3.50 euros and thus deceives, the choice of food is poor and very small, plus after eating you are guaranteed a toilet for 30 minutes, so get ready right away, the food is tasteless, rolls including dessert, not worth the money, I will never set foot there again. I do not recommend it under any circumstances, it is better to go to McDonald's and buy food there.

Without someone actively calling your attention, you'll quickly find yourself "out of luck." Ambience (4/5 stars): The atmosphere is generally pleasant. However, some flickering LED lights are distracting. Even if such defects are due to technical issues, they should be replaced promptly, as the flickering can be very irritating and stressful over time. Conclusion: A good restaurant with delicious food and an overall positive impression. With a little more consistency in the offering, better service attention, and quick resolution of minor technical defects, the experience could be even more complete.

Lately, it's been very busy in the evenings. The food is always good. We've been going to this restaurant for years and have never been disappointed.

I actually have to say I didn't enjoy the food there. The meal I had freshly prepared was very burnt. The same goes for the lucky chicken. It can't compete with a comparable meal from another restaurant. The ambiance there is really nicely decorated. However, it's very loud. And personally, I wouldn't eat there again. However, there were a lot of people there, who supposedly enjoyed it more. The buffet was extensive. Although it was already very empty, there was only one flavor of ice cream left out of eight. All the others had already been scraped out and weren't refilled. The little robot that brings the food to the table is a highlight there. They also have a soft-serve ice cream machine. Although I pulled vanilla, it still tasted like strawberry, which wasn't tasty.

We ate at the buffet, everything was delicious 😋 We'd love to come back. There was a huge selection of sushi, fish, meat, liver, mussels, shrimp, and even frog. There was also a huge selection of desserts. The freshly prepared food is delivered to your table by a cute robot.

We were there for lunch. You can sit inside or outside. The selection of boiled or fried dishes is extensive. They also offer raw meat and fish, which you can have fried on site. There's a limited selection of sushi. There are also a few desserts. The price for lunch is reasonable. The food was good. The restrooms are clean, even though it was very busy. I find the price a bit high in the evening, even for all-you-can-eat. You can't eat enough plates to make it worthwhile. We'll be back for lunch anyway.

I rarely write negative reviews, but unfortunately, I feel it's appropriate here. We had reserved a table for my birthday. The gentleman's "greeting" was without a hello, saying that the reservation didn't matter and that we should find an available seat. It took a long time for another server to notice us, who then asked us curtly and unfriendly what we wanted. Only when we asked were we brought a menu, annoyed. The lady didn't return to take our drinks for another 20 minutes. The restaurant was moderately busy, so the workload was manageable. Regarding the buffet: the already prepared food in the display was mostly lukewarm, almost cold. The white bread was so dry that it couldn't be squeezed. Empty containers were only refilled upon request and then after a long wait. The "grill master" was playing on his cell phone during preparation, which probably contributed to the food being overcooked, dry, and barely edible. A shame, because the grill was usually a highlight. The entire restaurant gives off an incredibly dingy impression. The benches are so dated that the red upholstery is peeling off and cracking, the tables have cracks, scratches, and sharp edges. The aquarium is in such a sorry state that it completely ruins the joy of eating. There are many fish in a dreary, narrow tank, devoid of plants, and the glass is so cloudy that you can barely see through it. The restrooms smell unbearable, can't be locked in places, and are very dirty. Instead of investing in an annoying robot that brings grilled food to the table and constantly tells you that you're in the way, they definitely should have invested in the restaurant. The service desperately needs a boost in terms of service and friendliness, and the interior needs a complete makeover. This development is very unfortunate, as we used to love visiting the restaurant.

I don't understand the positive reviews. The restrooms were broken and couldn't be closed. The buffet had many empty dishes. Our table was dirty. The casserole (carrot and broccoli) tasted stale 😕 The quality there has declined considerably.

Had dinner tonight. Very loud and uncomfortable. We waited 45 minutes for the grilled food, and the buffet was often not replenished. We ended up using chopsticks to skewer the chocolate fountain. The cake and cream puffs were frozen. We won't be coming back. Unfortunately, I can't upload the pictures of the empty buffet anywhere.

Not recommended. The shrimp's organs aren't cleaned, and you can't clean them after grilling, so they don't taste good at all. Grilled food isn't grilled well and has no flavor. Sauces don't taste good.

The Asienpalast in Weiterstadt is a large restaurant with an extensive menu. The service was friendly and attentive. We would gladly visit the Asienpalast again.

The food was cold! Not at all enjoyable. I think it's a shame you can't cook the meat and fish separately. I wouldn't really recommend it.

We ate there during happy hour on a Sunday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. I got some ice cream and some dessert just before 5 p.m., and at 5 p.m. the staff came over and snatched my plate from under my nose without asking if I wanted to finish it. It was like being kicked out. The food was good, but the staff were disappointing.

Unfortunately, my visit was a disappointing experience. The main problem was the constant emptiness of the buffets. There was a lack of food, which is absolutely unacceptable for an "all-you-can-eat" concept. Unfortunately, when there was something available, it often tasted like it came straight from the frozen food section of a supermarket. I absolutely can't understand the other reviews saying 'just like any other Asian' etc! The selection is really very manageable, the chicken skewers were probably spoiled, the taste was so horrible that I couldn't eat anything afterwards... I waited about 25 minutes for a freshly grilled plate, even though there wasn't really anything going on. So in my opinion it's wasted money and possibly also wasted health, I feel really sick now. I recommend everyone who is reading this to go to the Asiapalast in Langen - quality - price top - the only drawback there is that they are closed on Tuesdays, which is why we were here today

It would be appropriate to label the buffet with allergens. In addition, fried noodles/rice/rice noodles have egg in them everywhere. This is the case today when many people in Darmstadt eat vegan. You should move with the times. If you're lucky, you'll also get the drinks you ordered at the table

Sushi was also boring, the chef preferred to watch videos on his cell phone. The prepared food was only lukewarm. But prices have risen sharply. Overall it's a shame, I always enjoyed going there.

It's okay, like all other Asian buffet shops. We were here on Holy Saturday and fortunately very early, at 5:00 p.m. After us, chaos broke out, but everything was great for us. Buffet well filled and everything fresh. The service wasn't very friendly, didn't smile, but they were attentive and there was nothing to complain about. So as I said: everything is okay. Not a fancy shop, but you know that when you go here.

We've eaten here several times, but I've never experienced anything like yesterday. We celebrated my daughter's birthday - it had been announced in advance, because on birthdays the cat always comes with Happy Birthday - we had a reservation and got a table for five. The buffet was mostly empty and was hardly ever refilled; there were no plates or cutlery. There was only one drink at the beginning and after that we were ignored. When we wanted to pay and expressed our displeasure, we adults were offered a shot and the children, including the birthday girl, were ignored. So unfortunately we won't be back.

On March 30th, 2025 we were at the Asiapalast with 7 people! The reason for the visit was my wife's and my granddaughter's birthday! The whole evening turned out to be a total disaster! The sushi buffet was cleared out and wasn't refilled promptly! No plates available! Only after complaining did I receive a plate from a service person! Most of the trays at the buffet were empty! After complaining to a waitress, I was told to wait and that she was not responsible for refilling the food! Used dishes were piled up on serving trolleys in the aisles to the buffet! There were also dirty dishes piled up where the sushi was made! Drinks service poor! My wife and granddaughter's birthdays were forgotten! No cat with a happy birthday song! I won't come back again!

We were at the Asia Palace today and wanted to celebrate our granddaughter's birthday (she turned 14 today). It was a disaster. We had made a reservation with a note about the birthday and mentioned it again upon arrival. Nothing happened. Quite the opposite... There were no plates, ordered drinks weren't brought, and the empty plates were only refilled after repeated requests. There wasn't even an apology for the forgotten birthday and the poor service. When we paid, the waiter simply shrugged his shoulders. We've been here many times, but today is certainly the last time.

We were here for lunch and ate a buffet including a Mongolian grill. Everything was very tasty and freshly prepared. The atmosphere was very pleasant, not as kitsch as other restaurants. Would love to come back.

The lunch buffet was plentiful, with plenty of everything. If anything was missing, it was quickly replenished.

The food was excellent, everyone was very friendly. But: The restrooms looked terrible. The disinfectant dispensers were broken, the floor was sticky, and the rest is hard to describe.

So if you like good sushi, don't go there. Everything else is great.

We eat there regularly and have never left unsatisfied. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Buffet food is hot and regularly replenished and the selection is huge. The furnishings are tasteful and you sit comfortably (we often did for 3 hours) I deduct one point because it is often very crowded. This creates crowds at the buffet, the noise in the restaurant increases and children run around...but all of this doesn't change the fact that for the price of 20 euros for dinner everything is almost perfect Addendum: We had dinner at the Asia Palast again on March 6th and were very disappointed. The food was lukewarm and the duck was bone-hard and fried to death... the freshly prepared dishes that were brought to the table by the robot also took a very long time and were unfortunately not hot. At this price you can get better somewhere else. The service staff was also friendlier during our frequent previous visits... and in the end, I and my companion had to deal with nausea and diarrhea all night long Because of our good previous experience, we will test it again at some point...if it's that bad again, we'll give the competition a chance

The buffet at the Asiapalast is simply fantastic! A large selection of freshly prepared dishes - from meat with crunchy vegetables to sushi and delicious desserts. Everything is lovingly prepared and is regularly refilled. I was particularly impressed by the variety, so there really is something for every taste. Perfect for anyone who would like to try different Asian specialties. Clear recommendation!! The highlight is a robot waiter who brings the food from the kitchen.

Unfortunately I didn't like it that much. The menu always had 3-5 dishes empty at the same time and the taste wasn't that good. There was potato and vegetable casserole instead of more Asian dishes. Of course very crowded and loud on a Saturday evening.

We, my work colleagues and I, were permanent guests until about 5 months ago. Until the day we overheard a conversation between the manager/boss and food inspectors at the next table. We immediately finished our meal and paid. We'll never come back again. Hygiene problem is an understatement. It's not just the dirt that you find everywhere. Nope, you have to like the cute four-legged furry animals. We don't do it and say ciao. Our health comes first.

Currently no recommendations. We had reserved and still waited a good 30 minutes for a table. It took another 10 minutes until it was cleaned and set for us. When we arrived at the buffet there were no more plates. You could pick these up at the corner fresh from the dishwasher, unfortunately only moderately clean. The starter (soup and salad) was good, the sushi offered was empty. Upon request, our drinks, which we had ordered upon arrival at the table, also came with the main course. Since it was quite full, we grilled seafood right before the main course. These came after the main course. I just added garlic sauce to my seafood. They came back grilled with chilli. Since I can't tolerate chilli and had unfortunately already enjoyed the first few bites by the time I realized this, it unfortunately turned my stomach and ended the evening. In the end we got the correct bill, but it didn't seem appropriate for the evening. I would have expected at least a free drink for the exorbitantly long waiting time. And it's really unprofessional to overbook a restaurant like that. Unfortunately this was the last visit for us.

Plates, none, soup bowls, none left. It's only cleared away when you leave, the buffet is unappetizing and dirty. The food. Oh well. Simply unappetizing from these dirty containers. Sushi were almost out. Too bad. I won't come back. This is much better!

Asian culinary location in a great ambience and high-tech service.

We were here on a Sunday lunchtime (two adults and one child) and found it quite good. The little one really wanted to have lunch here because the grilled teppaniyski is brought to the table by robot, which she thinks is great. This one was actually very tasty, the vegetables and seafood were fried to perfection, but for my taste it could have been a little less salty. But the selection is really great and there is lots of fresh seafood, fish and many types of meat. Everyone will find something here. The already finished dishes with meat, various vegetables and sauces were also delicious, fresh and tasty. Even though it was quite busy, the service was really attentive and we always got our drinks quickly. For three people with a child, which is nothing apart from a small plate, a spring roll and an ice cream for dessert, the whole thing is of course relatively expensive, but it's worth it for the adults.

Not really recommended. We sat in the back of the restaurant. The tables were high and the chairs too low that you almost had your head hanging on the table (we are not small people). The buffet wasn't really filled, there were always empty bowls. And that on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. There was no service to reorder drinks. The food from self-roasting came to the table cold. We had to wait at the entrance for someone to seat us, and later, ordering drinks took a long time. As the restaurant offers a buffet, the plates and bowls of food were not replenished frequently, and many remained empty for long periods. Perhaps this was because it was Sunday, but it was still disappointing. In total, it was an okay experience. The food quality was good, but the service and overall management of the buffet were not top-notch. It’s not a place I’d describe as excellent, but it’s fine for a casual visit.

We went there for a buffet lunch on a Friday. Unfortunately the entire buffet was actually looted. Normally that's not a problem because it's refilled. Unfortunately there is no information here. The sushi, the noodles... were completely empty for another half hour. We were there during happy hour where you have 2 hours to eat there. We had something grilled and only got our food after 40 minutes. Totally cold and only upon request. We're definitely playing for time here, which is a shame. We really regret the visit and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Unfortunately the food wasn't really good either.

Very cool establishment, delicious food. You can eat as much as you want, drinks are paid for separately. The atmosphere is very pleasant, there is a lot of space, great staff. The robot waiter made me happy.

Very long waiting times, during rush hour the buffet is virtually inaccessible because of all the people. Food is not on a gourmet level, but still tastes good. To say something positive, the variety of different dishes is good.

My favorite Asian in the Rhan Main area. Food is always fresh and varied. Service is also very good. Ratings below 4 stars are disproportionate.

I come by here every now and then when passing through, it's very conveniently located. The food from the menu tastes good (standard, buffet not tried), the portions and the price/performance ratio are right. Negative: During peak times, you are not allowed to order from the card (restrictions are not posted anywhere, neither on site nor on the web) or the order is only accepted grumpily. Sometimes you just wait forever for the drink or are completely forgotten. Overall, the operation is a disaster. Unfriendly, disorganized and with little feeling for the guest. The ambience is typical of a Chinese restaurant, but it is often very loud at peak times. Conclusion: Best suited for the buffet battle.
