I can only agree with the very good reviews. We were here for dinner today. Both the vegetarian vegetables with curry sauce and chicken with peanut sauce tasted very tasty. Friendly service. Price performance really top. We'll be back. 👍

My absolute favorite restaurant when it comes to Asian cuisine. ☺️ I've been ordering food here once or twice every week or every other week for about 5 years and I'm still thrilled every time. My absolute favorites are the Thai curry with baked chicken, wontons, fried noodles with chicken and the spring rolls. The prices are very fair, especially when you consider the portion sizes, as one dish can easily satisfy two adults. At least that's the case for me and my partner. The service is fast and professional and the food is usually ready for pickup within 5-15 minutes. My absolute recommendation if you want to eat something quick and save money. I was there on September 7th, 2024 and ordered number 57 as the main course. I also ordered a glass of orange juice. I sat comfortably on the corner bench inside. The food was good. The price was fair. Included were spring rolls, baked bananas and a second drink to take away. Depending on what you order, it may cost a little more. However, €20.00 is enough. I was hungry and it took some time to get my main course. So I was glad that the spring rolls were available beforehand. This meant that the wait for the main course didn't seem so long. Therefore the service was satisfactory. It was a bit loud because there was a festival in Esslingen. However, this meant that the snack bar was not so crowded.

Absolute recommendation! The owner was super nice and friendly. They gave us desert :) Our food was very tasty and the portions were quite large. Gladly again! :)

Been to many Asian places but this is definitely the one with the best value for money. Very attentive service, the food was ready very quickly and tasted as you would expect from a good Asian restaurant. In my opinion, the highlight here is everything fried such as the crispy chicken or the spring rolls + baked bananas, which come with the really generously portioned main course as well as a drink to take away. So definitely worth a visit!

A small, inconspicuous Asian snack bar in the heart of Esslingen. Run by a small family. The menu includes spring rolls as a starter. The portions are huge and even the mild dishes are seasoned deliciously. The prices are absolutely justified and the quality is top. If you are in Esslingen, you should have eaten here.

Very friendly and accommodating owners - Price performance unbeatable - Dishes were delicious - We'd love to come back It might sound strange, but I would recommend the owners to at least raise the prices for the menus a little. At current prices there can't be much left to build up reserves.

Excellent small and cozy restaurant run by a very nice and courteous family. The price-performance ratio is really unbeatable! Gladly again. I don't know for the life of me how the family makes this possible: For €9.50 you get 5 spring rolls in advance, then your chosen main course, then baked banana as dessert and a drink of your choice in a can to take away. Last but not least, there was a 200 ml plum schnapps, also given as a gift.

It's hard to believe but it really exists and in the middle of otherwise so expensive Esslingen ;D

The classic Asian fast food with the classic menu. Price-performance is unbeatable! There are spring rolls with every dish. Fresh, delicious food.

The duck meat was slightly burnt and the portions were not evenly distributed. The service was ok, but not really friendly. We received our food 10 minutes later, like our friends. The atmosphere was dark, older and didn't seem really clean. It was great, for those who like it, after the meal (on the house) there was warm banana with honey and a free drink for the way home.

This fast food restaurant has the same name as the other Asian wok on Küferstrasse, but is much younger (only opened during the Corona period) and is run by a Chinese family, the older Asia wok by a Vietnamese one. Although the ambience is much nicer here, the dining room is much larger and the surroundings are nicer (right next to the harbor market) and the employees are very nice and extremely friendly, I still prefer to go to the “old” Asian wok (definitely the Bun Dao there). try!) and here are the reasons: - I always feel uncomfortable with this Asian wok because the business model is so strange and you feel like you get half of the food for free (and I really don't know how the owners make such a profit): - You always get spring rolls with your main course without asking and always a free drink to take with you on the way home, almost forced upon you, you have to refuse several times if you don't want it (because you can't tolerate it or you're simply not thirsty, unnecessary consumption or want to avoid waste etc.). Even if you refuse all of that, you'll still get a free banana or a plum wine forced on you, which I really don't understand. As if every guest HAD to get something for free. - It makes me feel very awkward because the woman is almost offended when you turn down all the free food. - In addition, only cash payment is possible and I don't remember any invoice that you as a guest receive after payment. All in all, an opaque business model that makes me uncomfortable. - By the way, the food is okay, but nothing special in terms of taste. - The guest room is very clean, bright, friendly, minimalist and modern.

We made an online order, paid extra to get the rice instead of noodles and to get the summer rolls with prawns. We got noodles instead of rice we paid for and we also got summer rolls without prawns. The rest of the food was quite tasteless.

The service and hospitality were really lovely, there are kind and patient, but the food didn’t satisfy me at all, the sause of spring rolls wasn’t good at all, the main dishes were big portions but i didn’t like it, the paniert chicken was so oily and some pieces wasn’t well done, the sauces were so light and not well made. i’m not sure if i would eat there again.

Furthermore, the owners are really friendly and you get spring rolls as appetizer, banana fritters as desserts and drinks to take home by default. Recommended for those in the area looking for Chinese food that taste like home.

Wir kommen immer hier her, wenn wir mit der Familie in Esslingen sind. Service ist super, Essen lecker und man muss nie lange warten.

Für einen Asia Imbiss sehr leckeres Essen. Die Bedienungen sind wahnsinnig freundlich und verschenken auch gerne mal was. Die Kinder wurden ebenso freundlich empfangen. Mich hat der Geruch nach Fett im Restaurant etwas abgeschreckt, das wurde durch das Essen aber relativiert.

Ich muss sagen das Rindfleisch Szechuan Art war eines der besten asiatischen Gerichte die ich jemals gegessen habe. Das Rind war butterzart und die Portionen sind riesig. Es gab sogar kostenlos Frühlingsrollen und ein Getränk dazu. Die Zubereitung hat nur 10 Minuten gedauert und die Bedienung war wirklich sehr freundlich. Sehr gerne wieder!

Wir waren heute das erste Mal dort. Die Bedienung war super freundlich und nett. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Zusätzlich bekommt man vor dem Essen 5 Frühlingsrollen und nach dem Essen gebackene Bananen und ein zweites Getränk. Ich kann dieses Restaurant jedem herzlich empfehlen.

Ein schönes kleines Lokal, die Bedingung war richtig freundlich , Tages Menü kostet 8,50€ Die Portion ist groß und schmeckt super. Man bekommt immer 5 kleine Frühlingsrollen und zum Nachtisch gab es 3 frittierte Bananen. Ohne das es extra kostet. Wenn man sich ein großes Getränk bestellt ist es halt 0,5l wo bekommt man das noch und noch zu dem Preis, ist der Hammer. Wir haben zwei Cola Zero je 0,5l für je 3€ . Aber jetzt kommt der Hammer beim bezahlen fragt uns die freundliche Frau was für ein Getränk wir mitnehmen möchten, da ist es so jeder wo ei Essen bestellt im Lokal oder zum mitnehmen beim bezahlen ein Getränk. Ich finde das sollte man auf jeden Fall unterstützen . Wir haben das Getränk nicht mitgenommen das wollten wir dann doch nicht. Für das Geld war das ganze schon genug.

Seit mehreren Jahren bin ich Stammkunde in diesem Lokal. Ich kann euch nur ans Herz legen diesen Laden zu besuchen. Von Qualität zu Preis und bis zum Service ist alles hervorragend. Mittelerweile ist mir die Familie schon sehr ans Herz gewachsen und es freut mich zu sehen, wie immer mehr Leute diesen Laden besuchen.

Sehr herzvolle Atmosphäre hier. Man wird immer nett empfangen und kriegt einfach Lust etwas zu essen. Vor jedem Menü bekommt man 5 Frühlingsrollen mit Soße und als Nachspeise immer gebackene Bananen mit Honig. Beides lecker und eine schöne Geste. Als Hauptgang nehme ich immer die 73 oder die 94, beides göttlich. Preislich voll in Ordnung und man kriegt nach dem Bezahlen auch noch ein Getränk zum Mitnehmen gratis.

I might be spoiled having lived in California with easy access to good Asian food, but this place, while really friendly, serves food that would cause any Asian grandma to recoil. I had the red curry, and there was no spice, no coriander, no umami. It was even hard to identify the coconut. And they used what basically looked like a generic frozen Asia vegetable mix. Yes, it's cheap, but that's the only thing it's got going for it, sadly. Shame, since it's run by friendly people, it's a nice piece and is in a good area.
