Asia Vietnam in Mainz

I have to say, I'm surprised by most of the reviews. I've ordered from Lalo many times and have always been very, very satisfied. I mainly order curries and the like, and I always find everything very good, and the delivery is usually pretty quick, too.

The food was actually really delicious, but there was no sauce. A huge portion of rice with vegetables and no sauce, oh well.

We've been ordering here regularly for many years. For a while, the quality of the food had deteriorated considerably, which was a shame. Fortunately, this has improved significantly in recent months, which we also viewed positively. Unfortunately, yesterday there was an absolute rudeness that seriously shattered our trust. I ordered three portions for over €60, two of which were standard with one portion of meat, and my portion (as has been my custom for years) with double the meat, as I like to split my meals over two days. So far, it's always been handled correctly: one portion of meat on top of the meal, and the second portion separately in a separate bowl, which is absolutely fair and worth the extra charge. This time, however: no extra bowl, no second portion of meat. Instead, they simply slapped two halves of meat onto my portion: half a portion of duck and half a portion of chicken. That's neither what I ordered nor what I paid for. That wasn't a "double portion," it was simply two halves. I've never experienced anything like this at your place before. This isn't just disappointing, it's simply outrageous. I honestly wonder what this is all about – especially with regular customers who have repeatedly ordered. This is how you drive away your customers. And with an order value of over 60 euros, you at least expect the order to be processed correctly, especially if you're ordering something you've been ordering the same way for years. Very annoying, and absolutely not okay—in fact, it's an absolute disgrace!

Ordered food on-site. It was quick, easy, and tasted absolutely delicious. I ordered a veggie curry with rice and tofu. The sauce was delicious, the rice was very good. Lots of different vegetables, and the tofu was also delicious. I'd go back!

A few days ago, I spontaneously ordered from Lalo Bistro. It was already late, the fridge was empty, and I wanted to try something new. Only after placing my order did I look at the Google reviews – and to be honest, I was a bit put off at first, as many were very negative. Because my wife is quite picky about food, I briefly considered canceling the order and called the bistro. Although cancellation was no longer possible, the employee on the phone was extremely friendly and relaxed. With a wink, she said, "Just try it for yourself and form your own opinion." – and she was absolutely right. The food arrived very quickly. The delivery person even knew I wanted to cancel and was also very friendly. He kindly explained that Lalo Bistro had already received one or two awards – which made me feel better. In retrospect, I almost felt guilty for even considering canceling. About the food: The delivery was quick, the food looked good, and most importantly, it was delicious. Even if it wasn't my personal favorite—taste is subjective. Overall, I found it solid and absolutely fine, hence 4 out of 5 stars. What I really can't understand are the many extremely negative reviews. In my opinion, the team at Lalo Bistro doesn't deserve that. People, keep up the good work, and sorry again, I'm only human.

Best food. Asia Family, on the other hand, is haram.

I don't even know where to start - our meal from Lalo Bistro in Mainz was just an absolute disaster. We were really looking forward to a delicious meal, but what was delivered was just disgusting. The summer rolls were a disgrace - not only were they rolled completely carelessly, one of them actually had dirt in it! Something like that doesn't work at all. And then the shrimp: Instead of using whole shrimp, they were simply cut in half to make it look like there was more inside. This is just a cheap deception. Then the rest of the food: cold, limp, tasteless. The soup tasted like it was days old and mixed with some cheap instant powder - completely artificial and stale. The sushi? It tasted sour! Fresh fish should never taste sour, that's really more than a concern. I don't know how this restaurant can even exist if the quality is treated like this. For us it was definitely the first and last time. Absolutely not recommended, just disgusting. 👎🏼

Unfortunately the food was an absolute disaster. The sauce was forgotten for the glass noodle salad, i.e. it was dry, cooked glass noodles on a bit of iceberg lettuce and cucumber. UNSEASONED!!! The udon noodles were swimming in oil, which tasted old. The whole thing looked completely carelessly prepared. 20€ was spent on it, at that price you expected something good. Unfortunately, absolutely no recommendation.

We had the food delivered to our home. The food was still quite warm and perfect to eat. However, the quality and taste of the food was unfortunately not good at all. Quality instead of quantity would be appropriate here!!

Best duck dish I've eaten so far!

Unfortunately, I didn't like the food here at all. The vegetables were fresh, but the sauce was quite bland and the mini spring rolls were simply frozen goods. I also didn't like the ambience - simple and not extremely clean.

The sushi and summer rolls were really very good. The service was also friendly and quick. I'd love to come back to try the other offerings. In short, I'm thrilled.

I had the pleasure of eating at Lalo Bistro and I loved it! The food was delicious and exceeded my expectations. The portions were a bit small, but still sufficient and didn't detract from the dining experience. The taste and quality of the food was outstanding. I will definitely come back and can only recommend the bistro!

I've been eating at Denn for 4 years and it's always tasted great, I'd recommend it, the prices are also great and the delivery service is also great. Sometimes they make exceptions and go to Klein Winterheim, it's just great ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Waited 2 hours for the food. It doesn't work at all

Absurdly bad. One of the employees smoked outside the door, making the air in the store worse. The food (fried rice with shrimp) tasted burnt. If you want Asian food in Mainz and want to stay near the train station, then always go to Asia Family. Maybe it's crowded, but that's just because everyone thinks the food is so good.

I've been a regular here for years and the quality and quantity of the food is perfect - the best Asian food in Mainz.

The summer rolls are delicious, as is the sushi. Crispy duck is recommended. Delicious sauce with fresh vegetables in it. Wantan soup was ok. Gladly again.

The staff is very friendly! Great value for money for the food. The food on site was always perfect, but when we ordered it was burnt. Only cash payment is accepted. There are only a few seats, but so far we have always found a place. It was clean too.

Picking up food here is always smooth, quick and easy. I can't say anything about the delivery. One of the best stores in Mainz in terms of value for money. The fried noodles and fried rice are always consistently good and, for me, “typical Asian store” quality. That's exactly what you want sometimes.

Really delicious food. It's a shame I only discovered them now. I had sushi with shrimp, fried noodles with breaded chicken and once fried rice with chicken. All madness. Gladly again

Bestes Asiatisches Essen zum bestellen in Mainz

Wirklich einer der besten Asiaten wenn es um asiatische Klassiker geht. Nummer 1 wenn es um bestellen geht, aber auch so vor Ort zu essen ist echt gut, lecker und günstig!

❤️Lalo Bistro❤️ Für mich der beste Vietnam/Asia Bistro. Hat nach 3Wochen Umbau wieder geöffnet und zum Glück seinen charakteristischen Charme behalten. Egal ob Mitnahme, vor Ort oder Liefern (Lieferung Essen warm top verpackt) Essen immer genial schon mindestens 30 mal bestellt. Gemüse knackig, Fleisch zart. Gibt auch paar Vietnam Gerichte z.B.Bun Bo😍Erdnüsse, Röstzwiebeln, Minze, Koriander Dressing Extra. 👌🏾Mitarbeiter asiatisch zurückhaltend freundlich 'Fahrer ebenso nett. Ich liebe ❤️Lalo Bistro.

Zwei Sterne weil die Pekingsuppe lecker war. Beim Hauptgericht war leider kaum Fleisch drin. Zudem war das Licht eher wie im OP Raum als in einem Bistro bzw Restaurant. Schade

Hat bisschen lang gedauert aber sehr gut geschmeckt und kam genau das an was ich wollte also hier bestelle ich jetzt immer .😄👌🏾

Lecker. Leider kleine Portionen. Schneidet im Vergleich mit der Konkurrenz in der direkten Nachbarschaft leider schlechter ab, weil es da zwar 2€ mehr kostet, die Portionen (und damit meine ich nicht den Reis) aber dreimal so groß sind.

Heute essen zum mitnehmen bestellt, war nach 10 Minuten fertig und ist super lecker. Die Portionen waren riesengroß und wir sind sehr zufrieden gewesen!

Haben kurz vor 23.00 Uhr ca. 7 Gerichte bestellt und sie uns an ein wirklich abgelegenes Grundstück liefern lassen. Der Fahrer war sehr freundlich, die Lieferzeit sehr kurz und die Portionen sehr groß. Das Essen war insgesamt sehr lecker und ich werde in Zukunft asiatisches Essen nur noch hier bestellen!

Nudeln gut, Fleisch nicht so super.

Seit Jahren Stammgast in dem Lokal, wer auf asiatisches Essen steht ist hier genau richtig auch Sushi können sie sehr gut sowie bei jeder Portion richtig ordentlich was drin ist! Auch die Verkäufer sind sehr nett und die Bedienung!

Abholung hat einwandfrei funktioniert, essen war frisch zubereitet und heiß.

Es gibt nur 2 Punkte da der Lieferant total sympathisch war. Das Essen ist ohne Geschmack, ungewürzt und einfach nicht gut. Erdnuss- sowie Süß-Sauer Sauce schmecken nach einem Hauch von nichts mit Wasser. Hundefutter von Rewe (Ja) is genießbarer.

Bestellt wurde über Lieferando. Die Lieferzeit entsprach der angegebenen Zeit. Zum Essen: Die Portionen sind so groß, dass man davon mehr als satt wird. Das Gemüse, welches zum Reis serviert wird, ist authentisch und vielfältig: von Paprika über Bambussprossen zu Sojasprossen und Bohnen. Die Soßen dagegen sind leider ein Reinfall. Die Erdnuss Soße ist viel zu fettig und ungewürzt. Von der Süß-Sauer Soße muss ich leider auch abraten. Diese schmeckt nicht nur zu süß sondern auch künstlich. Zudem wurde bei unserer Bestellung etwas vergessen. Nach kurzer Rückmeldung haben wir jedoch zügig unser Geld zurückbekommen. Für diejenigen, die nicht viel Wert auf die oben beschriebenen Details legen, ist das Restaurant sicherlich geeignet, meiner Meinung nach reicht es leider nur für 3 Sterne.

Haben zu 3. Bestellt Im Endeffekt sehr teuer für das später vorgefundene essen in meinen Augen da kenn ich besseres. Ich persönlich hatte die Ente mit gebratenem Reis . Das die Ente nach der Lieferung nichtmehr knusprig ist, stellt absolut kein Problem da, das ist nunmal einfach so Aber die Portion für das Geld relativ klein und etwas fad. Nachdem man 1 Stunde Lieferzeit angekündigt hatte kam die lieferung dann nach grob 1h 45 min. auch Mal an Alles in allem sehr gemischte gefühle

Ich bin ständig dort und finde das Essen super. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist ebenfalls top! Es ist sehr klein dort, aber meistens nehme ich das Essen mit und bestelle außerdem direkt im Laden und nicht über Lieferando etc.

Habe gestern dort Bestellt, Leider wurde nur die Hälfte geliefert( war ein technisches Problem und wurde recht zügig nachgeliefert) der Fahrer war sehr freundlich und hat sich mehrmals entschuldigt. Das Essen war mittelmäßig ( kaum gewürzt, Krabbensuppe hatte ganze 2 Shrimps, und leider war mir nach dem Essen übel) Lieferzeit war für einen Sonntag angemessen

Sushi war okay. Leider war ein Thunfisch Nigiri nicht so gut und konnte nicht gegessen werden, daher der Abzug!

Essen war etwas überdurchschnittlich aber auch nicht überragend

Ich liebe dieser Restaurant. Aber es nicht perfekt. Gut zu essen in diesem Restaurant verlangt nicht, es zu sich zu nehmen Ich liebe dieses Restaurant, aber manchmal gibt es diesen kleinen Unterschied in der Menge der zu nehmenden Speisen und den Speisen, die sie im Restaurant selbst servieren

Schmeckt sehr gut, sehr zentral, große Speisekarte und gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
