Asia Thyna has closed. A new Vietnamese restaurant with new owners, Rice & Wok, has opened in the same location.

The food is delicious and freshly prepared. The ambiance could be better, but the prices are still reasonable. Don't be fooled by the lighting; it might suggest the place is closed, but it's not! Just go in, order, and enjoy!

Unassuming from the outside, but I found my way there. I wanted to see if the Asian cuisine tasted as good as the reviews suggest. I have to admit, it deserved a good review. The coconut soup was generous for the price and very tasty. The soup was slightly spicy and highly recommended. The wontons were filled with chicken and vegetables and were nice and crispy on the outside with a sweet and sour sauce. The highlight was the main course. I was amazed at how generous the portion was. The sauce was fantastic and beautifully fruity with coconut milk, a perfect combination. It also came with rice and vegetables. €9, a fair price. In total, I paid €17.50, and that's a fair price. The cook was very friendly and accommodating. The shop has three tables for eating in. I can highly recommend this small shop in the heart of Neukölln to people who like to eat affordable, high-quality Asian food.

The food is excellent!!! There's no place like it in Berlin!! I wish the boss all the best in health and family – she has three children 👧 🧒 👧 . I hope you're doing well, and hopefully after the treatment we'll be able to enjoy some gourmet food again ✨💛

The undon noodles are great, but so is the red curry.

Unfortunately, I don't understand the good reviews. The food is average, and the prices have increased disproportionately in recent years. If you're in a hurry, you can't complain.

delicious dishes, fresh ingredients and a lovely owner (or the lady working there) I occassionally grab lunch from here and it never disappoints. today I have ordered two soup but due to a miscommunication, I have received two other dishes. I have ordered one extra soup 10 minutes later and I was then not charged for it. It is a clear sign for me that this is an establishment that should be supported by locals of our neighborhood!

Great food, tasty and a good portion. The house drinks also go well with it. Unfortunately, the location right on the street is a bit uncomfortable and you shouldn't come with more than 6 people at the same time.

The restaurant doesn't look very inviting at first but appearances are deceptive - but it doesn't depress because the prices are very fair for the freshness, the taste and also the size. There are really herbs in the soups, salads and main courses - everything is freshly prepared and very quickly when there is little going on! The lady can be rude, but only when she doesn't fully understand you or because she has something on the stove! Of course you should also have some understanding, there's really nothing to complain about when it comes to the prices! Thanks anyway!

I had the Bun Bo Nam Bo and the Saigon spring rolls. The woman took the order and then started preparing the food. The food tastes very fresh. The beef was very tender and seasoned very tasty. Absolutely delicious & a friendly atmosphere!

This is a gem! Great food for a great price (personally, the biggest bang for a buck Thai food in town). Plenty vegan options available as well (ask for it!). One of Berlin's hidden secrets. The place looks simple, but the dishes, this wonderful lady creates with love are top notch. My favorite Thai place in Berlin!

The Sunday hours are wrong. I went at 6:30 and the worker didn't want to take our orders.

I was hesitant because I saw that the price is lower than other restaurants and maybe the quality of the food is not good but I was totally wrong! I ordered Lemon grass meal with chicken and Tofu Sommer rolls, both came fresh and the quantity was more than enough. The lady working there was very friendly as well. Very recommended.

Stand: 07.2023 Den Laden kenne ich noch als kleines Kind, als damals ein älteres Pärchen den Imbiss betrieben hatten und es noch anders hieß. Somit dachte ich, dass ich nach über 15 Jahren und seit das ältere Pärchen leider nicht mehr da sind, dort den Besuch wage und per ToGo bestelle. In dem Laden sind 4 kleine Tische und draußen 2 kleine Bänke als Sitzgelegenheiten angeboten. Die Besitzerin leitet den Laden allein; sprich: sie nimmt die Bestellungen auf, kassiert ab, kocht in der Küche selbst und macht den Service. Auch wenn der Laden nicht all zu groß ist, finde ich es super, was diese Frau leistet 👍🏼👍🏼 Bestellt hatte ich 1x gebratene Udon mit Hähnchenfleisch für 8,00 Euro und 1x roter Curry mit Reis für 7 00 Euro, welches nur Bar gezahlt wird. Die Portionen sind völlig ausreichend und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis in Ordnung Für mich persönlich war der rote Curry süß gehalten, da es eigentlich eine milde Schärfe bringen sollte, was für mich als gebürtige Thailänderin etwas enttäuscht hatte. Alles im Allen hat es uns dennoch geschmeckt und wir kommen gern nochmal vorbei 😊

I ordered crispy chicken in mango sauce - it was very sweet and it had artificial taste. The service is very good - the woman taking orders, also cooks and serves the food - applause for good work. Menu is available also in English - you order by writing down the number of a dish from the menu. There are seats inside and a table outdoor. Keep in mind that payment is only with cash.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Wir hatten ein Gericht mit Tofu in einer Kruste. Dann hatten wir noch eine Meinungsverschiedenheit mit der Inhaberin über unseren Mangosalat, und zuerst war sie pampig, aber als wir gezahlt hatten und los wollten hat sie uns den Mangosalat noch Mal neu zum Mitnehmen gemacht und war ganz versöhnlich und liebenswert.

Ein wirklich sehr guter vietnamesischer Imbiss mit einem top Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Portionsgröße war ideal für mich, das Gemüse war knackig und frisch und hat dadurch super geschmeckt und das Essen war allgemein sehr gut gewürzt (ich hatte eine Zitronengras-Knoblauch Sauce in der sehr aromatisches frisches Zitronengras drin war, spitze!). Gern wieder :)

Usually a nice cheap place to eat but tonight I ordered a curry and it was so salty to the point that I couldn’t even eat it :^( Really bad tonight but in general I think it’s nice!

Mir kommt es so vor, als ob das eine One-Woman-Show ist, d.h. eine einzige kleine zarte asiatische Lady wuppt den ganzen Laden, inkl. Bestellungen aufnehmen, kochen, servieren, abkassieren. Ich finde, sie kocht sehr gut (habe viermal da gegessen, immer ein unterschiedliches Hauptgericht, zwei davon auf den Fotos, war jedesmal lecker), aber weil sie alles allein macht, dauert es manchmal ein bisschen, bis sie die Bestellung aufnehmen kann oder das Essen fertig ist. Tipp: Nicht zu den Stoßzeiten kommen, dann ist alles prima. Nachtrag Ende Januar 21: Sogar jetzt im Lockdown steht die kleine Lady noch fast täglich tapfer in ihrem Lokal und kocht super-leckeres Essen - hab nun schon etliche Male was zum Mitnehmen geholt, es ging schnell und schmeckte immer fabelhaft!
