Seems to be authentic Asian cuisine. Many dishes we hadn't seen before. Our beef meal was delicious; we'll be back.

The meat in the hot pot was of such good quality! It was delicious, I loved it, and I'll definitely eat it again next time.

I don't want to deduct any points for the ambience, as it's subjective. The food was first class, I had the soup with 1000 year old eggs (106) and beef aspic (227), which has absolutely nothing to do with the aspic we know in Germany. There were 9 of us. Everyone was very satisfied and very full. Probably the most authentic Chinese food I have ever eaten in Germany. Very friendly and courteous staff. One point deducted from the service because one guest had two meat dumplings in his vegetarian dumpling soup.

Freundliche Öffnungszeiten wie Service. Karte (u.a. Tierköpfe u. -pfoten) und asiatische Gäste lassen auf Authentizität schließen, aber auch die "gewohnten" Gericht wie Schweinefleisch Süßsauer u. Rind mit (üppig!) frischem Koriander sind überdurchschnittlich. Leider auch die Getränkepreise - grenzwertig. Mehr Kartenzahlungsangebot wünschenswert, ebenso aber auch ein Wiederbesuch...

Food good, service friendly, atmosphere rather modest

All the food here is delicious. Personally, I enjoyed the razogi and lamb skewers the most, and the cucumber soup was also delicious! At one point, I was so obsessed that I went once a week as if checking attendance, but I never got tired of it.

Food cold. Beef streaked with fat. I found the fried noodles too greasy and tasteless, an Asian snack bar makes better food.

If you want to eat meat, come here, the mutton and beef are top notch!

When ordering, I asked if there were cucumbers in the sauced beef. The boss specifically asked the kitchen chef to add more shredded cucumbers underneath. Super considerate! The beef in sauce tastes good, with chopped chili peppers, which makes it spicy and fragrant. The boneless chicken feet are chewy and delicious, and are delicious with coriander. Coriander beef, the beef is tender and fragrant, beef and coriander are a perfect match. Stir-fried green beans. The boss asked me to stir-fry some green beans. A bit inconspicuous from the outside but very nicely decorated inside and not overloaded with decorations. Food is very tasty and rich. Super fresh and the vegetables were very crunchy. Simply an all-round great meal. I'll be there again on my next trade fair visit!

We were the only European guests, the rest (around 25) were Chinese or of Chinese descent… Is there a better quality feature in gastronomy? I had lunch there today… it was great! It’s not so easy to find really good Chinese food in Berlin, but this place is excellent. The lunch menu is great, going until 16:30… currently, dished under €10 including soup. The service was also very quick, friendly and attentive… Warning: the spicy food is really spicy… the way Chinese food should be, in my opinion. Though it’s quite far from where I live, I’d consider making a special journey out there to try the dinner menu. It’s on my personal Michelin star list.

Best all you can eat hotpot in Berlin costs 22,8€ per person. Cheapest you could find in Berlin at the moment (july 2024). Super friendly staff, always smiling and gave us a lot of meat without hesitation. They also have variety of fresh food you can pick from the buffet— meatballs, prawns, crabs, enoki mushrooms, noodles, tofu sheets, and ice-cream etc.

The worst Asian food in my life. No comparison to many Asian restaurants in Berlin. Prices are written on the card with a pen and these are even different in the cards. That may be a mistake, but it still doesn't work that way! They sell a beer or soft drinks there from 4 to 12 euros, depending on the quantity, although even Berlin breweries have cheaper prices. This is crazy and cannot be justified by anything, especially not in this area. The name of the food is catastrophic because with many names you have to guess what it is and when you ask you hardly get an answer because you hardly know the language. Now the food itself, the duck with 8 treasures was without shrimp and I'm experiencing that for the first time! The duck appeared to be fried as it was extremely crispy and dry like the sole of a shoe inside. The beef and probably chicken that was included was hard to enjoy. Overall really bad and just didn't taste fresh. The beef with the mushrooms was a little better, the meat was ok, mushrooms ok, but everything tasted so much like fat and oil that it was not edible in the end. Rice was also unusual, as it is usually rather sticky, it fell apart, which was okay in terms of taste, but overall it didn't fit. That was the first time that we didn't even end up taking the food with us. There are an incredible number of reviews here, which I absolutely cannot believe after this experience and I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.

My first experience with Chinese food was definitely a success here! Thanks to competent advice, we were able to put together a delicious dinner. The tofu, the pickled aubergines, the water asparagus and the tomato and egg pan are particularly recommended. Everything can be combined with rice so that it is very filling. The selection of drinks was authentically Chinese, a good choice here is the chilled JiaDuoBao herbal tea as a non-alcoholic alternative or the snow beer. For dessert there were pumpkin dumplings, which rounded off the evening perfectly! We will come back in any case!

The restaurant has a great and relaxed atmosphere. The food seems authentically Chinese and is fresh (you noticed especially with the fish), the quality is clearly better than the sweet and sour duck from the snack bar next door! Here you can really immerse yourself in another culture. We ordered a lot of dishes and shared them, so we tried a bit of everything, very Chinese style. The carp stew, the water asparagus and the tomato and egg pan were particularly delicious! We will definitely try the hotpot again, it looks really tasty. For dessert we tried 1000-year-old eggs and pumpkin in dough, which were also very tasty (and interesting :)). We were also able to try a Chinese iced tea. At the end we were able to choose a Chinese schnapps. The owner family was really nice and showed us how to enjoy the food the Chinese way. I'm absolutely thrilled and will definitely come back!

An old restaurant that I have loved since 2018, my daily canteen during the epidemic! The boss and his wife are very friendly and the cooking is very serious and delicious! In the early days, New Sunshine was the leading hotpot buffet in Berlin. Also: The waiter sister has a beautiful smile!
