A bit inconspicuous from the outside but very nicely decorated inside and not overloaded with decorations. Food is very tasty and rich. Super fresh and the vegetables were very crunchy. Simply an all-round great meal. I'll be there again on my next trade fair visit!

We were the only European guests, the rest (around 25) were Chinese or of Chinese descent… Is there a better quality feature in gastronomy? I would strongly recommend this cosy restaurant. We had three dishes, which we all generally enjoyed. I was told by my co-diner that her chicken meal was superb. I absolutely LOVED the sea-weed soup. The service was truly wonderfully friendly and sunny. I'd definitely go there again if I happened to pass by.

I had lunch there today… it was great! It’s not so easy to find really good Chinese food in Berlin, but this place is excellent. The lunch menu is great, going until 16:30… currently, dished under €10 including soup. The service was also very quick, friendly and attentive… Warning: the spicy food is really spicy… the way Chinese food should be, in my opinion. Though it’s quite far from where I live, I’d consider making a special journey out there to try the dinner menu. It’s on my personal Michelin star list.

Best all you can eat hotpot in Berlin costs 22,8€ per person. Cheapest you could find in Berlin at the moment (july 2024). Super friendly staff, always smiling and gave us a lot of meat without hesitation. They also have variety of fresh food you can pick from the buffet— meatballs, prawns, crabs, enoki mushrooms, noodles, tofu sheets, and ice-cream etc.

The worst Asian food in my life. No comparison to many Asian restaurants in Berlin. Prices are written on the card with a pen and these are even different in the cards. That may be a mistake, but it still doesn't work that way! They sell a beer or soft drinks there from 4 to 12 euros, depending on the quantity, although even Berlin breweries have cheaper prices. This is crazy and cannot be justified by anything, especially not in this area. The name of the food is catastrophic because with many names you have to guess what it is and when you ask you hardly get an answer because you hardly know the language. Now the food itself, the duck with 8 treasures was without shrimp and I'm experiencing that for the first time! The duck appeared to be fried as it was extremely crispy and dry like the sole of a shoe inside. The beef and probably chicken that was included was hard to enjoy. Overall really bad and just didn't taste fresh. The beef with the mushrooms was a little better, the meat was ok, mushrooms ok, but everything tasted so much like fat and oil that it was not edible in the end. Rice was also unusual, as it is usually rather sticky, it fell apart, which was okay in terms of taste, but overall it didn't fit. That was the first time that we didn't even end up taking the food with us. There are an incredible number of reviews here, which I absolutely cannot believe after this experience and I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The restaurant has a great and relaxed atmosphere. The food seems authentically Chinese and is fresh (you noticed especially with the fish), the quality is clearly better than the sweet and sour duck from the snack bar next door! Here you can really immerse yourself in another culture. We ordered a lot of dishes and shared them, so we tried a bit of everything, very Chinese style. The carp stew, the water asparagus and the tomato and egg pan were particularly delicious! We will definitely try the hotpot again, it looks really tasty. For dessert we tried 1000-year-old eggs and pumpkin in dough, which were also very tasty (and interesting :)). We were also able to try a Chinese iced tea. At the end we were able to choose a Chinese schnapps. The owner family was really nice and showed us how to enjoy the food the Chinese way. I'm absolutely thrilled and will definitely come back!

My first experience with Chinese food was definitely a success here! Thanks to competent advice, we were able to put together a delicious dinner. The tofu, the pickled aubergines, the water asparagus and the tomato and egg pan are particularly recommended. Everything can be combined with rice so that it is very filling. The selection of drinks was authentically Chinese, a good choice here is the chilled JiaDuoBao herbal tea as a non-alcoholic alternative or the snow beer. For dessert there were pumpkin dumplings, which rounded off the evening perfectly! We will come back in any case!

I have been a regular customer of New Sunshine for 10 years. I come here every time to eat hot pot and devour it. This time I tried the haggis soup recommended by the boss lady. It tastes really good! As always, I support and recommend New Sunshine’s food.

Very bad experiences. Ate twice and both times the food (fried rice, fried noodles) was very overly fatty and chewy. The room climate was disgusting because of all the fumes from the food. Even the windows were so fogged up that you couldn't see through them. Had to ask several times myself for things like invoices and so on.

We've been coming here to eat regularly for 4 years and it's now our No. 1 choice for Chinese food and hot pot. Both ala carte and Dutch ovens are recommended. The food tastes original and spicy. If you like spicy food, you can also order spicier. If you prefer something milder, you can easily find something from the large menu here. The owner and service staff are very friendly.

It is my favorite Chinese food in Berlin. You can get there directly by taking S41 42. Every time I come, I must order the fish head with chopped pepper and the beef in sour soup. They are really delicious😋. They not only order meals, but also have a self-service hot pot. The self-service hot pot dishes are rich and there are many choices. Essen war ok. Leider haben wir unser Essen nicht alle zusammen erhalten. Personal machte einen völlig überforderten Eindruck. Vielleicht einen falschen Tag erwischt. Wir werden nicht mehr dort Essen, aber jeder soll sich ein eigenes Bild machen.
