Asia Restaurant "Mongolei" in Ganderkesee

Unfortunately, for quite some time now, only cash payments have been accepted. An invoice could not be issued. This was a real disappointment for a group of seven who spontaneously wanted to eat there, as no other payment option was offered. No alternative payment method was suggested either. However, based on previous experience, I can say that the food is delicious and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting.

We were loyal customers for years and always appreciated this restaurant. That makes the recent decline all the more disappointing: the taste and quality have deteriorated significantly. For the first time, the three of us went home hungry and dissatisfied because the food simply wasn't good and we didn't feel comfortable eating there. It's a real shame, because it used to be a place where we felt at ease.

Top Mongolian buffet restaurant. First-class, within a 200 km radius. I love going there as a couple or with the whole family.

As before, the buffet offered a consistently good and extensive selection, friendly service, and very tasty dishes. Due to the size of the restaurant, the noise level is a bit higher, but it's acceptable if you don't plan on lingering for hours. We'll be back, thank you!

Bad! We arrived at 8:00 PM, but the restaurant is open until 10:00 PM, so we assumed there would still be enough. Once we got to our table, we saw that the sushi was already gone... we asked if they could make more. But they said they couldn't, they'd run out. So we tried stir-frying, which wasn't a success either. I got hard noodles back. The desserts were also all gone, and unfortunately, it's the same story here.

We (3 people) were very disappointed. We ate at the buffet. The food was only lukewarm and the taste was mediocre. We mentioned it, and the only excuse given was that it was very cold today and there weren't many guests. Warm clothing is recommended.

It used to be good, but it's gone downhill drastically.... The dishes no longer seem fresh and often appear reheated. This was especially noticeable with the dry shrimp, the tough spring rolls, and the hard duck..... The dishes were lukewarm. Furthermore, I felt extremely ill that evening. That was my last time here. For years, Mongolia was always a good Asian restaurant, distinguished by its freshness compared to the copycat menus of other restaurants. Now this decline has reached here as well. The fact that they only accept cash makes one wonder. The restrooms used to be cleaner too.... What a shame—quantity over quality.

A great restaurant for families. They have something for both children and adults! A wide selection of meats and sweets. Kangaroo, frog, shark, lamb, fish, or duck. All kinds of cakes and ice cream. In warm weather, you can sit outside under a covered area in a cozy courtyard. There's also a playground with a slide and swings. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful!

Unbelievable... Once and NEVER again! Aside from the sticky floor, the place being completely overcrowded, they couldn't keep up with the demand for food, and when they did serve it, the quality was poor. Plus, they only gave out small appetizer plates for the main courses... 1 star is too much for this place!

A very nice restaurant, the service is excellent and very friendly. The selection is amazing, there's something for everyone, and it tastes fantastic. The Sunday lunch buffet with freshly prepared dishes is also highly recommended. So much choice of fish, fresh meat, and vegetables—everything your heart desires. I can only recommend it.

I ate there once and was very impressed by the lunch buffet. I wanted to repeat yesterday. I've gotten into the habit of not drinking anything at lunch because of the rip-offs on drinks. Yesterday, for the first time, I experienced a reaction to this. I was told that if I didn't order a drink, I wouldn't get any food. I left the restaurant immediately, and I won't be seeing it again!

A very tasty, extensive buffet. My recommendation: avoid peak times, as it'll be more of a culinary experience, unless you enjoy waiting in line.

This is my third time here, alone this time, but still very attentive and friendly. The food is good quality, maybe not the 5 🌟 premium meat option, but that's rare at a buffet... great selection, highly recommended ;)

Unfortunately it was not good, we were there at 7.30pm and wanted to eat nicely, unfortunately they did not fill out the food again at 8pm and they were open until 10pm, that is not possible and you have to pay 25 euros for that, I am disappointed

Very rich buffet with very good value for money

There's no hot stone at lunch, but the selection is very extensive. The sushi is delicious, fresh, and varied, and the dessert selection is also very extensive. The service is very friendly and attentive. I think they've only gotten better over the years. The best Mongolian buffet in the area.

My absolute favorite restaurant since 2015! Thanks for the tip A. :) We eat here once a year for my birthday. The food has always been delicious, and the price (for the grill) is absolutely fair. The service is extremely friendly and promptly clears away the used dishes without interrupting any conversation. See you next time :)

Yesterday, I had dinner for the first time with a friend who has eaten here several times before. We sat outside. The tables are eye-catching. The service was friendly and helpful. The drinks were served promptly. The buffet has an incredible selection. There were items in the fish and meat section that I'd never eaten before. There was a wide selection of meat, fish, vegetables, and other delicious dishes. There was also a plentiful selection for dessert. I will definitely eat there again.

Our last visit was a while ago, but it was very good. Since we decided to visit the place again, the taste of the food and the service have declined considerably.

A very large selection, hot, and if something runs out, it's quickly refilled. The table service was fast and very friendly. We were there on a Saturday evening and managed to get a table, but it was very busy. We were given a table for four, so we had plenty of space at the table and were a bit away from the buffet...so it was quite quiet and we had a great time chatting. We'll be back :)

The buffet was really good. Even though the restaurant was packed, there was always a wide selection to choose from or it was quickly refilled. The atmosphere was perfectly fine, and the service was always prompt and not intrusive. On the contrary, they were very friendly and always polite, with a smile. I've eaten at Mongolia in Delmenhorst several times now – and it's been a positive experience every time. The buffet selection is huge: sushi, hot Asian dishes, a salad bar, and of course, the Mongolian grill, where you can choose your own fresh ingredients and have them prepared right away. I particularly like how fresh the meat, fish, and vegetables always look and feel and are well chilled. The staff is attentive, clears away quickly, and ensures the buffet platters are constantly refilled. The prices are also absolutely fair, especially at lunch. The ambiance is spacious and modern, perfect for families, groups, or even a relaxed dinner for two. A clear recommendation if you're looking for good, hearty Asian food in Delmenhorst.

We had no problem getting a table on Saturday without a reservation, even though it was quite busy. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and competent. We both had food from the buffet, which had a huge selection. In season, they even had asparagus, which surprised me. The price-performance ratio was excellent; the selection of raw fish and meat alone was very large, and the chef prepared it quickly and very well. Then, of course, there were lots of hot dishes, which were constantly being freshly refilled, and there was also a huge selection of cakes and desserts. There was even a chocolate fountain and soft ice cream. The only downside was the noise caused by the size of the restaurant. But there's always something going on. We'll definitely be back!

Typical Asian buffet restaurant in a former inn. Very simple atmosphere with the typical tiled floor. Already larger selection for the Mongolian buffet. The warm dishes are mostly breaded and fried. Sauce wise dark strong or sweet and sour. Of course, fries and herb baguette are a must ;). Soft ice cream machine and large ice cream chest with plastic bottled sauces and canned spray cream are very popular with children. The food we had was all hot. Noise level like in a sports hall when playing handball. Very very loud. It was ok with 2 small children. There's a lot of hustle and bustle at the buffet - it's really mass processing. It was okay - we wouldn't come back. We didn't have any of the sushi - it didn't look very appealing, and I don't think you need that with Mongolian.

Everything was extremely tasty, even shortly before the restaurant closed it was topped up.

We've been here several times and always enjoyed the buffet. Unfortunately, the prices have risen so much that it's no longer worth it for us. €25 per person, without drinks, is simply too much – it makes you think twice about whether to actually go for the buffet or eat somewhere else. Don't get me wrong: the service is very friendly as always, and the food isn't bad either. But if you're paying that much, we'd rather go to a restaurant where we get waited on, and we're happy to spend a little more. It's a shame, but the buffet price is no longer attractive to us.

I don't know if the food is good because we came with my friends, we were about 10 people, we wanted to eat and were ready to pay, but an hour before closing, at 10pm, the waiter told us that the restaurant is closed, even though it says on Google Maps and at the entrance that they work until 11 p.m.

We come here every now and then to eat. Unfortunately this time the service was a bit unfriendly, but still professional and courteous. Maybe it was just a bad day and everyone has that! At the buffet, the rice wasn't refilled for an hour despite mentioning it, which was a shame :( We would still like to come back, next time everything will definitely be as usual and beautiful.

We were in this restaurant, sitting relaxed together, when suddenly the employee who is responsible for the bills came to us. He forced us to pay the bill immediately even though we actually wanted to continue eating. We explained to him that we had the right to stay until 11pm, but he insisted on completing the bill immediately. Finally we agreed so as not to provoke an argument. After we paid, we wanted to get something from the buffet again. But the employee stopped us and said that we were not allowed to eat anymore because we had already paid. We complained and pointed out that he had previously pressured us to pay even though we still wanted to stay. He then said we would have to pay again if we wanted to continue eating. I would like to warn everyone: This restaurant forces guests to pay early so they don't stay long and can take advantage of all you can eat. Although you are actually allowed to stay there from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., you are treated unfriendly and restricted in your time. The employee at the checkout in particular is extremely rude. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant.

Large selection for lunch. Very nice service. Kimshi isn't available everywhere and was very tasty. During asparagus season there are even thick spears of asparagus here. Class!
