We had made a reservation, which was also confirmed, and were faced with closed doors. Only an information on the entrance door informed you that they had decided to close on July 29th, 2024. If you read the last reviews here (even 2 days before the closure) you quickly realize that we were standing in front of the closed door for a reason. The impression was reinforced because a day later we were asked to rate our visit.

We were there “regularly”, we always liked it and it tasted good too. Unfortunately it has been permanently closed since the end of July. What was always suspected became reality. During a customs raid, a sample of 12 kitchen workers was found without a valid work permit. A pity

Location is okay - arrived at 7.30 p.m. with a large group, but the buffet was a disgrace - ALMOST nothing was there and then only on call. We weren't the only ones who complained. The selection was poor. And for the few people sitting in the restaurant, the chef over-fried the food and burned it black. The flesh was like the sole of a shoe. Why 3 stars anyway? Because they still made an “effort”. For and the last time.

It was very tasty, but the food got cold quickly. It doesn't make any difference to the quality, but eating hot is better. There is no service in the classic sense, but the tables were regularly cleaned of used plates and empty bottles.

Update July 26, 2024: When you come to the restaurant, the first thing you have to do is pay for your food. So payment in advance and only in cash. The quality of the food has decreased significantly, I think. The selection was also much smaller this time. So once this year it gets another chance, otherwise that's it for ME. I currently don't give any recommendations.

Walked more than an hour to eat here after several recommendations, a reservation had also been made. When we arrived at the restaurant it turned out to be closed. There was nothing on the website and my reservation was even confirmed. Then I couldn't eat somewhere until 10:00 PM.

Regular opening at 5:30 p.m., reservation at 5:30 p.m., 2 small children with us, line got longer and longer, at 5:45 p.m. still no one opens the front door, service saw us, no one answers the phone, no excuse for that it takes longer. No star deserved! Have gone....

Definitely the worst Asian all-you-can-eat in a long time. The decor is very kitschy Asian and looks a bit worn out. From the outside the store looks more like a warehouse. Operation and service are ok. You then have to pay in advance at the entrance. The buffet consists of a self-cooking area, a sushi area and a dessert area. Unfortunately the sushi was hard and dried out. Definitely below supermarket level. All other dishes are 95% fried or swimming in very flavorful sauces. Chicken dishes were ok, beef and duck were fried to death and dry. Dessert is quite well done as there is also soft ice cream. In addition to fruit, chocolate fountain, cake and regular ice cream. The selection of drinks is quite nice, although in the end it's still not worth it (unless you drink 5-6 drinks). I'd rather stick with XIAO and pay an extra €3 for my coke. But quality and taste. This shop, as you can tell from the guests, is just there to fill yourself up with whatever it is, and most people don't seem to care about quality or taste. A pity!

Worst “restaurant” visit ever! The food doesn't taste good. Everything is fried. Carelessly prepared and some of it so dry that you can't eat it. The hot dishes are at most lukewarm. Sushi that needs to be cooled, however, is served at room temperature. Unfortunately, the refrigerator didn't cool at all, even though there were dishes containing dairy products. Just disgusting and dangerous to your health. The waiters have their place at the ramp, right next to the empties. They're standing there with their feet flat and looking like they've had seven days of rain on their faces. Absolutely unprofessional. Dessert is all frozen goods. What is presented there is a joke. I don't even want to start judging the ambience... I will not recommend this place to anyone!

3 hours isn't enough if you're there with friends and have a relaxed drink and chat beforehand and don't eat straight away like in a marathon. I paid 33 euros and in the end wasn't even allowed to eat dessert because the time was up and you were literally grossed out. I will never enter this store again.

We discovered mice today... received no price response and only received stupid comments that we should just report it because our food can't be put at risk. Finally the staff became rude and we were asked to leave because we wanted to prove it... it doesn't work that way! As proof, all the mouse's droppings behind the cupboard where it was hiding!!

One of the nicest Chinese restaurants in the area. Lots of choice of dishes and drinks, cozy atmosphere and good service. The dishes are prepared very well. Always worth a visit.

I really liked the girls who clean the tables. The room itself is quiet and peaceful. But we were there on weekdays, I don’t know how they were on weekends. For food 5 stars out of 5, staff 5, only 4 because the restaurant chef spares money to remove the terrible leather country ones. Everyone is 5 except the boss😀😀😀 But thanks anyway.

Can you do... We went because the Gourmet Temple in Duisburg was closed. First of all, it was a good alternative. It has its advantages: flat rate drinks with a really wide range. Food is typically Asian buffet style with plenty of choice. I found it a bit strange to pay in advance, as if you were basically paying an entrance fee. But okay. There is no dedicated parking lot, but there is a large parking lot opposite Kaufland, always with the threat of being towed away if you are not a customer. Nothing will happen. Still strange. As for the ambience, I wouldn't recommend going at the beginning of the month as it is very noisy with people for whom behavior is a foreign concept and after the middle of the month you can no longer afford such a stay.

Food absolutely delicious, large selection of drinks and no struggle at self-service. Really pleasant, but unfortunately a noisy environment, which didn't bother me personally. But it's only worth it if you can really eat a lot. If you can't eat a lot, you're better off with à la carte.

Officially the buffet was supposed to be open until 10:30 p.m., when we went to the buffet at 10 p.m. almost everything had already been cleared away. We were literally pushed out of the restaurant and firmly told that they were closing promptly at 10:30 p.m. because "there was nothing going on." Drink selection is bombastic, everything included in the price, plus 2x0.2l wine per person and also beer, branded iced tea and coffee specialties available. We'll definitely be back, but not when the Duisburg employment office has just paid out citizens' money. The clientele was accordingly, some of them wearing cycling shorts that were far too tight and hot pants with half of their bottoms sticking out. I think the staff should make sure that the clientele doesn't sit around on the sofa like they would at home.

The food was a catastrophe, I drove from Austria here to Germany to the Good Chinese, it was there 2 years ago, but what I experienced here today is really not normal, the food is so cold, the children attack the food and put it back again . Then the service doesn't put anything fresh on it and when they put something on a plate, something like that doesn't work at all and is not recommended. The 33 euros for the buffet are paid directly at reception and you are then escorted to your table. The grill is designed for fish, but tastes very good. The other dishes are rich and warm and are always freshly refilled. There is a large selection of drinks. As I said, the unspeakable volume is the downside and you feel like you're in a ball pit.

I caught the Novovirus on my penultimate visit. Yesterday we decided to go there again but it was a total failure. The food was empty except for pasta, rice and some meat, even though it was only 7 p.m. and nothing was refilled. The €66 was definitely not worth it. We could have simply thrown the money in the trash. Conclusion, we won't go there anymore, it's becoming more and more disappointing and it's definitely not worth it anymore. Food is okay, price/performance ratio is right, selection is large, but I wouldn't have anything prepared on site. Overcooked, dry, hard. I prefer small, cozy restaurants. Actually one of the best all you can eat in the Essen, Oberhausen and Düsseldorf area. Delicious fresh dishes, lots of fish dishes and they all taste super tasty, lots of choice with drinks and the prices are quite good, free parking nice and close by. Highly recommended.

Spacious, beautiful room, delicious, varied food, drinks included in the price, including alcoholic ones, as well as coffee and tea. Large selection of desserts, two chocolate fountains, clean. In the evening you can stay in the restaurant for no more than three hours; on Saturday you can come in the first half of the day at a lower price (at this time there is a limited buffet and there are no raw products that can be selected and transferred to the grill). One small nuance: there are no napkins available in the public domain. I recommend this restaurant to everyone)

Very friendly and attentive staff, the selection is good, the Mogolen grill is quick but the meat/fish is well fried. I particularly enjoyed the baked/fried pudding at the buffet. Unfortunately, some of the meat at the warm buffet was dry or overcooked. I think it was because we were there on a Tuesday and it wasn't that busy. So we'll test it again another time.
