We've been to the restaurant several times and unfortunately we've recently noticed that it's getting worse and worse... it's a shame... We came from a little further away because we were really excited... From time to time it feels like the selection is becoming less and less, and unfortunately the quality of the food is also decreasing... And the price-performance ratio is no longer right... We loved having something freshly prepared for us... but the last few times it was completely over-seasoned and was almost inedible... The sushi corner almost no longer needs to be offered... There is obviously very little freshly packed... it's a shame our last visit ended in the little town... unfortunately that was the crowning glory... and made us decide not to visit the Asia Palace anymore to look for something else... It's a shame the staff was quite friendly...

We came especially from Bremen and I have to say we were impressed!! There is a wide selection of different dishes (no pizza or anything like that, but really exotic food!) and all at an unbeatable price. Plus nice service and consideration of individual wishes! We'll be back, and really happy!

One thing in advance: If you are looking for stylish and authentic Asian cuisine, you are in the wrong place here. Still, it tastes good. Everyone in the group tolerated it without any stomach pain. A large selection of vegetables and salads rounds off the offering, as does a large selection of desserts, including ice cream. But it is a buffet restaurant, you have to take that into account. The buffet is constantly refilled and looks very appealing. Although the restaurant is run by Chinese-speaking staff, it is not entirely authentic, hence a few stars less in the respective categories. Nevertheless, it was tasty and the service was friendly. Therefore a clear recommendation!

Spontaneously stopped in with my daughter. On Wednesdays it was no problem to get a table for several people. The buffet was still well stocked at 7 p.m. Taste good, but not outstanding. The liver dish was a bit very dry. Sushi almost looked like frozen food. The freshly prepared food was very good and had a good selection of meat and fish for the middle of the week. Waren schon oft hier. Die Ente was trocken das Essen lau warm. Die Teller im Wärmer waren fast kalt Die Qualitätder Speisen hat leider stark nachgelassen!

We were there last night and chose the buffet. The food was good, the service was nice and friendly and everything else was good. There's nothing to complain about, hence 5 stars.

Worst experience ever! The service was terrible and the waitress was very rude with us, she was insisting that we have to order drinks with our food otherwise they add one euro per person on the pill and when we said we don’t want any drinks she completely ignored us afterwards and wasn’t responding to us!! Although she was very nice and smiling to white people !! Very bad customer service and even if they serve food for free I won’t be there again ever!

There is a lot of room for improvement here with the food. That was basically nothing... The food was either overcooked or dried out at the buffet. The ice cream buffet was already cleared where I was so far. There was actually no service at all, only where money was involved. The buffet is far too expensive for such terrible food. I don't have to go there again, there are much better restaurants of this type.

Preferably no stars at all. Food 0 out of 0. Service 0 out of 0 Extreme heat and the service person didn't want to open the window (not my problem) came from the lady. For the price I wouldn't go there again. I think it's a shame, the store used to be really good.

I would prefer to give 0 stars. Unfortunately the food was terribly bad, you can eat much better and cheaper at the kebab shop opposite and the waitress was quite unfriendly. When asked if she could open the window or doors as it was quite hot and stuffy in the flophouse, she simply replied that it wasn't her problem and left. There was a stomach ache for free with the meal. That was definitely the last time at Asia Palast.

Service was very bad. Were forced to pay in cash... Were kicked out before closing time because they didn't want any more customers and wanted to get off work even though we hadn't finished eating. We then asked how long they would be open for but they ignored us. The food also left a lot to be desired. It was dry, almost cold and only leftovers. I don't recommend it.

So the food is really really bad. The quality was the worst I have ever had at this type of restaurant. There was a choice. Price basic Also OK for a buffet but unfortunately the food wasn't really good. Personally, I would neither visit nor recommend the restaurant again.

We were there recently. No greeting, you are addressed directly with: “Buffet, yes?”… no, we wanted to order à la carte, as the buffet cost €24.90 per person (and we weren’t that hungry). Bami Goreng was ok but not that tasty and the curry and tofu dish was tasteless... you could only taste coconut milk but no curry at all. Ordered jasmine tea with it: very small amount of tea for two people. Very disappointing.

Delicious Asian food in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. An extraordinarily large selection is offered, and selected dishes are even freshly prepared by a chef.

Horrible food I've never eaten so bad at a Chinese restaurant, everything tasted the same, one dish had soft-boiled liver in it... even the ingredients that were freshly prepared didn't look fresh. So Oldenburg, what's wrong that you're trashing him with such poor quality!!

Grausigen Essen so schlecht habe ich bisher beim Chinesen noch nie gegessen,schmeckte alles gleich,i n einem Gericht war weich gekochte Leber drin bäh...selbst die Zutaten die man frisch zubereitet bekommt sahen nicht frisch aus. Also Oldenburger was ist los das ihr ihm die Bude einrennt bei so mieser Qualität!!

Really rude staff, they don't want you to pay by card nor do they want to cut out receipts and they make you pay in cash, honestly I would never go there again

I found hair in the food completely rude staff they wouldn't let me pay with a card and made me go to the bank to get money when they had a card payment system I really don't recommend it the worst place in Oldenburg I have never seen anyone more rude in my life to this day than this particular staff...I'm sorry, this is the first time I'm leaving a comment, although I never leave negative comments. The waitress made me cry and spoke to me as if I had left without paying, she didn't want to accept my card.

It's the rudest thing I've ever seen in my life. They wouldn't let us pay with Mastercard because they don't issue receipts and they made a whole fuss about us not paying with cash but they only wanted cash, really never ever again in that horrible store, you all are rude

The staff was very friendly, attentive and always ready to help with questions or special requests. Food: The food was simply fantastic! I tried several dishes and each one was excellently prepared. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors well balanced and the portions generous. Value for money: The prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food. You definitely get a lot for your money.

The woman was very unfriendly. She made us pay in advance because we didn't want to order anything to drink. She then refused to give us the 10 cents (which we were entitled to). All in all very unfriendly and the food was also very unhygienic.

We generally like to eat here when we are nearby. The buffet has a really great selection and the things that are freshly made for you make the whole thing really good! There is a star deduction for the really warm temperatures and the loud ambience. Otherwise, feel free to carry on like this.

Apparently we were spoiled too much by the predecessor. The table was sticky and should be considered normally clean. The waitress didn't look you in the face and was apparently overtired/annoyed at 12:00 noon. Everyone should make up their own minds. There is still a lot of room for improvement. I have been a regular customer for 10 years. Despite the train station atmosphere, the buffet selection was always great and the food tasted really good. I would like to criticize the price development. The basic idea for the open lunch was, among other things: the opportunity for nearby company employees, craftsmen, field workers, etc. to receive an inexpensive warm meal. Now just under EUR 20 is charged for the limited lunch buffet plus a drink. The price development for an ordinary Diet Coke is already impressively inflationary and will soon be around EUR 5. It's a shame that you usually have to drink something with your meal. Unfortunately, common expense rates are significantly lower than the total price. The quality of the meat is also different or fluctuating on some days. It's a shame, but I would like to look for alternative "lunch restaurants". Maybe that's also the reason why there isn't as much going on in your area, at least at lunchtime.

An Asian food buffet, plenty of familiar food and lukewarm because otherwise it would be completely overcooked. The ambience MC Asia. As a group of 6 people, we hadn't taken our jackets off at lunchtime and were still standing when we were asked if we wanted to drink. This is strange, inhospitable or Asian culture. If you want to fill up, you can eat here for a long time. The signs suggest that guests are also impudent and put something on their plates like animals. 15 euros plus a drink around 20 euros is too much for lunch. Interesting for those who only want to hit it once a day. In the evening it costs 24 plus a drink. Only paying in cash leads to the assumption that money is seeping into the rice. So once and not again. The ladies clearing away at least had a business smile on their faces. That was the highlight.

We actually come here often, mostly on birthdays. The food is very tasty and thanks to the buffet there is something for everyone. From vegetables to duck and baked chicken. There are meals for children such as nuggets, fries and more. There is also a small corner with toys and there are plenty of high chairs. In the evening there is also a wok barbecue added to the buffet, where everyone can choose whatever they want and then have it fried in a wok. However, the evening buffet is around ten euros more expensive than the lunch buffet. (At the lunch buffet there are also things that you can have fried, but the selection is smaller than at the Wor Barbecue in the evening) On birthdays, the restaurant often gives out a simple plum wine for adults (if the restaurant knows about it, of course, but they actually pay a lot of attention to it themselves). If I remember correctly there is also a little something for children, but I don't remember what it was. The restaurant is definitely something for everyone who is looking for an Asian buffet with the family. But even as a couple, you can definitely stop by for an evening and fill your stomachs.

Service was really poor, you were almost forced to pay as quickly as possible. They charge money for tap water for tablets and every 5 minutes you get a wry look at the table because your plate is still full and they think you've left something behind and it'll be thrown away. After no tip was given, there was no goodbye and the staff simply walked away. Never again.

Unfortunately, most of the dishes from the buffet were only lukewarm. Very bad smell between courses. I find 2 person buffet, 1xwater and 1xAlster €58 much too expensive for what is on offer. We won't go there again.

I was there yesterday with a friend...we've been going there for years, like every 2-3 months...the service is completely fine, I don't know what there is to complain about, and the lunch is great! However, I can well imagine what some people are saying here, especially Eastern European guests have a tendency to fill their plates TOO full...well...then just stay at home...

Und gerade wenn ich hier negative Kommentare offensichtlich osteuropäischer Kunden lese: es ist bekannt daß die sich die Teller vollmachen, auch in Antalya oder Hurghada, alles auch selbst gesehen.Man verschwendet nunmal kein Essen! Nein,alles war völlig in Ordnung, und das Essen legt man sich ja selbst zurecht. 5 Sterne!

We met up with friends for dinner. We had the all you can eat menu and were all satisfied. We would come back at any time!! But a tip for future visitors: please come before 9 p.m. As far as I could see, there won't be any more refills because the kitchen has to close sometimes. Service was unable to provide drinks refills. 2 of us ordered plated meals. These came way too quickly and were lukewarm. It was clear that this was not freshly prepared. Very nice place, delicious food and a large selection. The cook disappointed me a bit because he didn't cook fresh seafood for me, probably because there were a lot of people and he was in a hurry. The ready meals on the buffet were delicious and the service was also of a high standard.

I usually never write bad reviews, now unfortunately I have to. Today I went to this restaurant for a buffet lunch with my family. We enjoyed the food. However, the staff is at the lowest level. The first thing that bothered us was when we came in and didn't even take off our jackets and sit down, the waitress came to us and asked if we could order drinks. I politely told her that we wanted to look at the map first and needed a moment. Nevertheless, the waitress continued to stand in front of our table and waited, which of course rushed us and we had to make a quick decision. Okay, that's not so bad. But I found what happened next terrible. My sister got comments from a waitress that my sister's plate was too full. And that she should take less and if she is still hungry, she can take something more. On the one hand, I understand that the waitress is worried because many customers take a lot but don't eat it all. However, I think the waitress wasn't allowed to say something like that because it was super rude and disrespectful. I think everyone knows how full their plate should be and how much they can manage. My sister felt very uncomfortable when she received these comments. Above all, other guests also heard that. Of course, our mood was really bad because of this situation. We've been to this restaurant before and the staff was never good. But after this situation we decided that we would never go there again. The restaurant is NOT recommended!

They were not fair. Because I'm from a different race, they treated me differently. They were not friendly to me. However, you could see their smiling faces when they are talking to the people with white skin. I will never recommend the place to friends who lime Asian food.

Das es keinen guten Ruf mehr hatte durch diverse Dinge....dachte ich mir nur,egal testen wir einfach nochmal 😉 * der Boden war stellenweise so am kleben * service (die Teller haben sich am Tisch gestapelt) sehr schlecht und das obwohl nichts im Laden los war * NUR BARZAHLUNG (wer böses denkt.... könnte Recht haben 😁) * Buffet Preis für das was angeboten wird viel zu teuer (da zahle ich bei anderen gerne den gleichen Preis,aber da bekommt man auch was geboten) * geschmacklich leider sehr sehr schlecht geworden Ich könnte noch mehr aufzählen,aber nein....zum Glück gibt's in OL und umzu weit aus bessere Asiatische/chinesische/mongolisches Buffet Restaurants. 2020: Nach dem Umbau sieht es optisch um einiges besser aus. Das Buffet ist sehr gut und man hat eine Menge Auswahl. Es gibt auch außergewöhnliche Sachen wie zb Kaninchen oder Känguru Fleisch. Wir sind immer gerne hergekommen. Seid Jahren von der Familie für Feiern gerne genutzt, aber was da im Moment passiert ist unterirdisch. Essen riecht bei einigen Speisen echt seltsam, unhöfliche Bedienung die uns mehrfach aufforderte zu zahlen. Schälchen und Eistheke übelst dreckig. Als das Büffet ruckartig abgebaut wurde, wischte das Personal alles mit dem gleichen Lappen ab, auch das Büffet mit dem Frischfleisch und Fisch. Die Krönung: nur Barzahlung..Kasse kaputt ..kein Bon nur einen Hand gekritzelten Zettel als Beleg. Wir hatten null Überblick über die Preise … Sage mal nicht was ich denke.. Schade aber ändern sich nicht Hygiene, Qualität und der Umgang mit Geld , kommen wir nicht wieder

Qualität hat sich stark verschlechtert trotz Preiserhöhung. Das Essen war sehr salzig.

Bisher hatten wir immer gleichbleibende Qualität. Fairer Preis für große Auswahl an Essen. Service ist schnell. Essen ist gut. Leider keine Akzeptanz für Kredit- oder Debitkarten. Kühle Atmosphäre, Wohnlichkeit fehlt. Fußboden ist teilweise klebrig. Ein absoluter Kritikpunkt ist die Kinderspiel Ecke. Hier könnte eine komplette Grundreinigung sinnvoll sein, da sich die Kinder doch oft auf dem Boden aufhalten. Toilette können ebenfalls sauberer sein.

Ich mag dass essen da. Ist manchmal etwas kalt. Aber sonst sehr gut.

Sehr schöner laden gepflegt und Personal ist nett und freundlich

Im großen Ganzen, ich war enttäuscht. Von bis und als dann auch noch vor unserer Nase die Ketchup und Mayonnaise Flaschen zusammen geschüttet wurden, der Rand mit einem Lappen abgewischt wurde und dann auf dem weg in die küche mit dem gleichen Lappen Flächen und der Schiebedeckel von der Eisauswahl abgemischt wurde, war klar das das das letzte mal war in diesem Lokal .

Eine Internetseite mit den aktuellen Infos zu Öffnungszeiten, Essen und Preise fehlt.

Angenehme Atmosphäre und leckeres Essen. Aber ich mochte keine Dame, die die Bestellungen entgegennahm und das Geschirr abholte. Sie war nervös. Alles andere ist sehr gut. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Beim letzten Mal waren wir leider sehr unzufrieden. Sehr unfreundliches Personal, unser zugeteilter Platz lag wie auf einem Bahnhof gelegen. Das Klientel, was dort immer häufiger anzutreffen ist, macht das Ambiente kaputt. Leute in Jogginghosen, die mit offenen Mund kauen, sich in irgendeiner fremden Sprache lautstark unterhalten, tellerweise Essen zurückgehen lassen und zu allem Überfluss noch unfreundlich am Buffet drängeln. Deren unerzogene Kinder rennen schreiend durchs Restaurant. Viele Speisen waren leer und wurden nicht mehr aufgefüllt (u.a. Sushi und normaler Reis!). Wir kommen erstmal nicht wieder.

Waren abends da. Kurz nach Öffnung. Der Laden war recht schnell sehr voll, das Personal schien gestresst und überfordert. Teller wurden nicht abgeräumt, Bestellungen (Teppanyaki Grill) dauerten sehr lange. Auf Nachfrage beim Zahlen nach Glückskeksen wurden mir diese in die Hand geklatscht und ich mit einem barschen "Tschüß" abgespeist. Insgesamt bin ich es in Restaurants (auch dem Asia Palace) deutlich besser gewohnt.

Gutes Angebot zu einem guten fairen Preis. Gerne wieder.
