Asia Home Restaurant Sushi & Grill in Lampertheim

I've been here 5 times already and each time my mind is blown away by the superior service and the thought that goes into their food presentation. Today I ordered a simple Veggie Set with some sides and it all came out presented on this beautiful platter WITH dry ice floating off the platter. Mind blown!!

Everything, very, very good, tasty and clean.

If you want to eat good Asian food, you can definitely do it here. The restaurant is very nice. Just by looking at the food you can see the love that goes into it. Everyone should be convinced by the time they eat. Absolute recommendation!

A very nice and inviting shop, the food is great and the service is friendly.

One point is still too many. I sat down at an empty table and was ignored by the two waitresses for 25 minutes, even though there were only a few guests there. I got up and left, only then was I noticed. But I decided to eat somewhere else. Friendly service is important to me.

Highly recommended, it was the best crispy duck we have ever eaten, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We'll be back.

We were regular guests at Asia Home before the renovation/conversion and were there again for the first time on Friday evening. The sushi was excellent as always, the avocado-salmon-cucumber “salad” was eaten by our 5-year-old almost single-handedly - of course with the children's chopsticks, which were brought to her immediately after ordering her food. Drinks weren't exciting for us yesterday 😅

My boyfriend and I recently went here again and it is truly my favorite place to eat in Lampertheim. Not only the food and the friendly staff are convincing, but also the beautiful decoration, which in my opinion makes the restaurant the most beautiful in Lampertheim!

On Saturday my wife and I visited the reopened Asia Home for the first time. As soon as you entered, you could feel that the renovation had not taken place long ago. We were warmly welcomed and were able to choose a place. We also received the homemade lemonade very quickly. I have to say up front, there wasn't much going on. We each ordered a starter and a main course. For me it was the mini spring rolls and the roast duck with curry, my wife had the seaweed salad and the duck with peanut sauce. The starter was then served in a reasonable time. We enjoyed both. Although seaweed salad is not my thing. After the starter we didn't have to wait long for the main course. The meat was very juicy and tasted good. The vegetables and sauce were also very good. If you wanted something to drink, the service came very quickly after eye contact or a subtle wave. So the service was very attentive. At the end we treated ourselves to a Vietnamese coffee, which was also very tasty. We were very satisfied and we really enjoyed it. We will come back in any case.

By chance we ate at Asia Home for the first time today and were thrilled 😋 The food was delicious and the service was very attentive but not intrusive. We'll definitely be back 👍

After the renovation we stayed with a great Vietnamese host and it turned out great, it was the same before. I don't want to know what you've eaten and what it looks like in some kitchens. The food and friendliness were always top.

Never again... Hygiene and cleanliness must always be at the top in the catering industry. Are the facts on the table? What could be unfair?

We visited you very often and left a lot of money behind. But hopefully what you have done will have consequences and no one will come to you anymore!!! Rat droppings everywhere in the kitchen!!!

Severe hygiene deficiencies were discovered here by the veterinary office 🐀💩🗑️🦠🧫 “As part of a planning inspection, the facility was checked in terms of food law. The general operating facility had to be assessed as inadequate. The premises were so contaminated that a thorough cleaning and disinfection of the entire premises, including all equipment and furnishings, was necessary. A rat infestation was discovered in the restaurant. The food stored, produced, processed and marketed at the facility was exposed to a risk of contamination. (e.g. meat and fish dishes, vegetables, side dishes and sauces) The floor in the operating rooms (except the counter and dining room) was partly heavily contaminated with rat droppings. Cleaning deficiencies were found in the operating room where food is handled. The hand basin in the kitchen was broken and only cold water was available in the staff toilet. Hygienic hand cleaning was therefore not possible. The shrimp were thawed in a bowl of water under the sink. We were regular guests here, but after the hygiene scandal we won't be coming back. Nice outside, but ugly inside! Responsibility is probably not taken either. You trust the chefs and the staff, but they don't care about the guests!

I'm thrilled, tasty, clean, etc. Great! Served with a twist. People are happy to take the 50 m walk to get there.

Unfortunately, we must have had a particularly bad day for ourselves. First of all, my wife's cola was missing carbon dioxide. Then, in my opinion, the service staff was completely overwhelmed despite the few guests. Maybe it's also because of the to-go business? Starter took 45 minutes in the form of a sushi platter for 4 people, which tasted very good, was well decorated and fresh. We had to reorder the bottle of water we originally ordered several times because it kept getting forgotten. After another 45 minutes the main course finally arrived. Unfortunately, my wife's meal wasn't served as advertised on the menu, which isn't funny when you have a food intolerance. The sweet and sour sauce here was made with ginger and the fried meat was served with soy sauce. Ginger and soy are one of my wife's intolerances, so I eat back and try to improve it, but unfortunately without success because the soy sauce I generally use doesn't work. When I asked if my wife's remaining food should be packed, the waitress didn't understand that it didn't taste good and repeatedly asked to pack it up. Who will take something with them that they didn't like? So far so good, my food and that of the others was fine, but that's also because no one has any other intolerances. The payment process almost tempted us to leave without paying. The waitress took almost 20 minutes to bring the bill, even though the store was a maximum of 20% full. It was quite nice, sushi was good, but I don't think we will visit the place again.

The food was great! We once ordered fried noodles with crispy chicken and the maki mix, it was very tasty and was beautifully presented. The ambience is also nice and inviting, the staff is also very, very nice! Food arrived quickly and it was relatively quiet as there wasn't much going on. You could only hear music very quietly in the background, which I think is very good! So all in all very nice and inviting! 👍

The food was very tasty. The lady was nice but unfortunately she was only at the table to order once. We would definitely have ordered another drink if we had been asked.

Food tasted fine, BUT 1 hour plus waiting to get it and when it finally comes, and not all of it, it is the wrong thing. All the people in the restaurant were experiencing the same. Oh, they don't speak any German nor English.

I wholeheartedly recommend it. Large portions, price adequate to the quality. Clean, fresh, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Went there for dinner, recommended by a friend. I was not disappointed. We were met by a member of the staff on entering the restraunt who showed us to our table, and incidentally, we did not reserve a table. The waitress introduced herself and took our drinks order. Menues were already on the table, and the drinks arrived quite quickly. I asked questions about the menu, and the waitress was happy to explain the dishes I was considering. I ordered a spicy Thai soup and a duck fried rice. My son ordered a prawn fried rice dish. The soup arrived within 5 minutes, piping hot with crispy and not overcooked vegetables, and the prawns in the soup were fresh prawns, not the tasteless frozen ones When the mains arrived, shortly after finishing my soup, my sons prawn fried rice again was made with splayed fresh prawns, my duck fried rice had two breasts of sliced duck on a bed of rice with a well prepared salad on the side. The duck was crispy on the outside but moist and very flavoursome on the inside. I enjoyed the meal very much. We did not have a desert on this occasion, as we were short of time, I will most definitely visit this restraunt again, I must also comment on the attentiveness of the philippine waitress, who made our time there memorable... One thing to point out is that payment is cash, or EC cards only and no credit cards. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and I will most definitely be back.. The menu is quite extensive with a multitude of various sushi options and more than enough mains to choose from, to meet even the most demanding pallet. thank you, guys.

The food is actually always good, but this is the second time I've gotten something wrong when I picked it up. You can't open every box on site and see if the right one is in there for 2 or 3 people. The number on the lid was actually correct but wrong. . Therefore, unfortunately only three stars are deserved today.

Top restaurant! We really enjoy going there. The service could be improved a bit but the great food makes up for it.

Super leckers Essen in sehr angenehmer Atmosphäre. Die Bedienungen sind alle sehr nett. Wir gehen sehr gerne dort essen.

Wir waren heute ds erst Mal dort. Das Essen war hervorragend, die Bedienung zuvorkommend, freundlich und humorvoll. Das Ambiente wie man es in einem asiatischen Restaurant erwarten kann. Wir waren rundherum zufrieden und werden bestimmt wieder kommen.

Das Essen ist sehr gut und das Ambiente innen echt schön, das Servicepersonal ist auch sehr freundlich. Leider scheint es als manchmal Verständigungsprobleme zu geben, es kamen schon öfter die falschen Getränke und auch schon das falsche Essen, das ist schade und ich hoffe dass sich das ändert. Update: seit kurzem dürfen keine Hunde mehr mit ins Restaurant ☹️

Die Auswahl ist gut, aber sehr an das deutsche Publikum angepasst. Es schmeckt immer frisch und ist liebevoll angerichtet. Es ist sauber und das Personal ist freundlich. Man kann zum Glück mit Karte bezahlen, was man ja auch noch im Jahr 2023 betonen muss. Wir gehen hier gerne immer Mal wieder hin.

Wir waren noch nie vor Ort, haben uns aber schon diverse Male Essen liefern lassen. Da wir einen Säugling Zuhause haben, ist das super praktisch, dass es den Lieferservice gibt! =) Sehr freundlich und das Essen ist immer super lecker!

Das Essen ist sehr gut und günstig. Als ich da war (Mittag), waren mit mir 2 Gäste da und ich kam mir verloren vor.

Bin gerade hier zum Mittagessen Das Sushi ist sehr lecker daran kann man nichts aussetzen ✔️ Die D31 ist geschmacklich sehr intensiv dafür ist für meine Begriffe etwas zu wenig Reis dabei. Es ist sehr schön angerichtet und schmeckt einfach nur gut Preis/Leistung TOP Komme gerne wieder hier her

Alles top, Ambiente, Bedienung Gutes Essen.

Wir waren heute zu Viert dort. Dort gilt freie Platzwahl, Reservierung war nicht nötig. Sehr freundliches Team. Wir konnten in Ruhe durch die große Speisekarte stöbern. Essen und Getränke wurden schnell serviert. Die Sushiplatten waren kunstvoll angerichtet auf Schiefernplatten. Die Portionen der Hauptgerichte waren sehr groß. Das Essen war Top. Schon lange nicht mehr so gut asiatisch gegessen. Preis/Leistung super. Karten sowie Barzahlung möglich. Sehr zu empfehlen. Dort werden wir öfter zum Essen hingehen.
