mega fresh, delicious food! You can really eat everything that is on the menu. Fresh herbs like coriander, great sauces, good quality meat. I love the crispy duck with mango sauce or sweet and sour or spicy. Very nice staff!!! 👍😊

Good value. Good choice in Cuxhaven. The same price whether it's a takeaway or you eat on the spot. Only cash. I booked once by email but wasn't seen on time during opening day. No parking lot, it's alongside. Open until 21:00 on specific days.

Very friendly service and very authentic cuisine that impresses with the taste and quality of the products. The wontons, for example, are handmade, and the dishes are all freshly and individually prepared. If you want a very good alternative to fish dishes, you are in good hands here!! Warmest recommendation to eat there when visiting Cuxhaven!

On October 6th, 2024 I ate the mixed salad with chicken and spicy hoisin sauce here for 11.50 euros. I drank a mango juice with it. Everything tasted good to me. I recommend this dish.

We ate at Bamboo at 6 p.m. on Monday evening without a reservation. The friendly service was very pleasant. We had duck twice from the extensive menu. The food was inexpensive, served very quickly and was very tasty. Overall recommended

Super tasty, fresh food. Were there with seven people. Everyone had something different and was very satisfied. It could have been a little more rice. Prices are great, but 19% VAT is now paid. As a little tip: perhaps offer children's portions. Would encourage us to order more. So you would do without and would rather take a 'robber's plate'. The location gives more of the impression of a snack bar, even from the outside. When the food arrives, you are immediately convinced of the opposite.

I've been coming to this restaurant more or less regularly for years. There is always a sense of calm because I not only like the food but also the atmosphere.

We celebrated a bachelorette party with 12 people at Bamboo. The table was beautifully decorated with flowers, candles and balloons. The restaurant has an aquarium and lots of plants, so it has a fresh atmosphere anyway. The food was fantastic, freshly cooked and cheap, everything was prepared quickly and the waiting times were short. Our table was held for us for a period of four hours, so we had more freedom as to when we arrived. All the employees were friendly and welcomed us very lovingly. We felt very comfortable.

Ordered something to pick up from Bamboo for a long time today. The service was friendly and the food was ready on the agreed date. But that was it for the good impressions. First of all, I was unpleasantly surprised that the difference between the payment amount and the money given was simply kept as a matter of course. I'm happy to give a voluntary tip the second time I pick it up if I know the price and performance are right. In contrast to my review from 5 years ago (see below), a lot has changed in terms of quality here. On the one hand, the portions have shrunk extremely, and on the other hand, the Chinese fried noodles are only made from spaghetti. The vegetable sauce consisted of brown water with no taste and, apart from three or four mushrooms, almost entirely made of onions. It looked the same with the hearty mushroom sauce. There was plenty of mushrooms and onions but everything had no taste. Of the three meals, the crispy chicken was anything but crispy. All three of us are still hungry and are very disappointed because we had a very good meal here a while ago. Not a good development. Addendum: The food means that I can now get diarrhea tablets 😡 5 years ago We "only" used the delivery service, but the food was delivered quickly and was still very hot. The taste is simply great and very tasty. Good quality at reasonable prices. We've been on the receiving end of delivery services many times, but here you also receive a friendly welcome on the phone, special requests are no problem and, as I said, the delivery was quick and the food was hot and extremely tasty, a first-class supplier...

Food very tasty. There was just a little too much tofu and few vegetables in the curry. Rice wasn't nearly enough! Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed into the restaurant either.

Super super delicious!! One recommendation is definitely the spring roll, where you can really tell that it's homemade. Rarely have I eaten such juicy duck at an Asian bistro. It took a little longer than you expect when you go to a bistro, but it wasn't a problem at all and you were rewarded with great food. It should also be mentioned that because the kitchen is not in the dining room, it is really nice and quiet in the restaurant. Price/performance absolutely fair and justified. We would like to come again :)

Almost a year has passed (May 10, 2024) and we finally made it to Cuxhaven again. And of course we ate here again. It was just as delicious again 😍. And we took the photos too. ;-) We will be back definitely!! Rating from 2023: Ate here yesterday. It was very very tasty! I had the Szechuan grilled duck and I have to say it was really great... the skin was so crispy and the meat was still tender and juicy... and with light roasted flavors... I was really impressed. My wife found the mango chicken just as tasty...thumbs up. Price performance for the food is also good. We will definitely come back on our next stay in Cuxhaven. 👍... then I'll take a photo too... visually very nicely presented.😉

Always happy so far, but new season, bad start. Price increase and smaller portions. Food was cold upon arrival home. Soy sauce was more water and therefore no taste. Lots of vegetables, well bean sprouts and carrots, the rest is very clear and then too expensive in terms of price

A super great and nice operator. This is the first time I've given it a full 5 stars, because you feel like you're in good hands with her ❤️ The food was served quickly and appetizingly, the hint of a glossy taste could be internalized. I had promised to come back, unfortunately it didn't work out in time. Nevertheless, I fully recommend it! It's a little more difficult with parking spaces, but once you find one, you're even happier about the feeling of being welcome.

First time and never again... What a shame. Tofu with red curry sauce was more like tofu with pure coconut milk. Chicken with hoisin sauce and “extra lots” of vegetables was 2kg of chicken with 2 drops of soy (not hoisin) sauce and two small pieces of red pepper and two small pieces of zucchini. Very disappointing. The only good thing was that the food was very hot 😄 Unfortunately we cannot recommend the shop. No music, not a nice atmosphere, portions far too small, little rice, poorly seasoned or not seasoned at all, lots of glutamate... and more salad than vegetables. We absolutely cannot understand the good reviews. Vietnamese everywhere else in Germany, especially in Düsseldorf, are significantly better! Here you probably don't know what Vietnamese means... it's definitely photogenic. But there are no vegetables underneath. Coke not from the bottle, not carbonated, like stale.

For us the best Vietnamese restaurant in Cuxhaven, very friendly owners, the food is fresh and super tasty and beautifully prepared, even special requests are implemented easily 😊 Portions are more than large enough, we only discovered the shop recently, although some of them are from Cuxhaven 😅 are already regular customers there… price-performance ratio more than appropriate 👌

Delicious food, the duck 🦆 is great

We ordered and picked up food here for the first time today. Spring rolls, udon noodles with beef, duck Szechuan style. Everything was absolutely delicious and very nicely presented. I love the fresh coriander, black sesame and many other fresh herbs, yummy. We'll definitely be back.

We have now placed a large order twice in a row for almost 50 people on New Year's Eve. Both times ALL guests were positively surprised. The food was fresh and very tasty. Communication with the team was very good and went smoothly. All wishes were made possible. The food on site also tastes excellent and the service is perfect. We are already looking forward to the next time! :)

Einsehen leckeres und schnelles Essen. Das Personal schnell zuverlässig und freundlich, obwohl sie den Tag ganz allein bedient hat. Nebenbei hat sie sogar telefonische Bestellungen angenommen und immer wieder gelang es ihr, so lange es die Reservierung nicht beeinträchtigte, andere nicht Reservierten noch für ein Essen, einen freien Platz zu geben. Da sollten sich einige Restaurants eine Scheibe von abschneiden. Ich sag nur Daumen hoch.

Sehr nettes Personal. Das Essen war sehr gut, ansprechend garniert und absolut preiswert. Da das Lokal nicht in direkter Strandnähe liegt, ist es auch nicht so stark frequentiert.

Leckere und große Portionen. War mega lecker

Wir sind wirklich sehr viel unterwegs und oft essen. Mal als Familie und mal alleine, daher bewerte ich sicher nicht jedes Restaurant aber ab und zu muss es mal sein. Man wird vielleicht nicht direkt angezogen von der Lage und dem Blick von außen, aber: Es war so nett, richtig schön und super lecker. Ich persönlich finde die Preise zu gering für das Essen, alles frisch, es duftet und schmeckt einfach gut! Man kann das Trinkgeld natürlich erhöhen, aber die Preise können dafür sicher angehoben werden! Ich kann nur jedem empfehlen, geht dort rein, es ist kein Bistro!

Ich hab schon lange nicht mehr so lecker asiatisch gegessen! Die Bedienungen sind alle sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Bis jetzt der beste Asia Laden bei dem wir gegessen haben, alles selbst gemacht und keine TK Ware. Sogar wünsche meiner Frau wurden wegen Laktose Intoleranz, berücksichtigt. UPDATE Leider werden die vegetarischen Frühlingsrollen nicht mehr selbst gemacht, haben uns aber darauf hingewiesen, schade deshalb einen Stern weniger.

Ente war superfein, sehr knusprig. Tofu mit roter Currysauce. Wie gewünscht, nicht zu scharf. Sehr lecker!

Also ich hatte das Gericht Nr.70 und dafür habe ich ein kleines Stück Fleisch in 5 dünne Streifen geschnitten auf Nudeln bekommen also für 11€ ist das sehr geizig... bis jetzt hatte ich woanders immer mindestens 2-3 von diesen Stücken und es war sogar 2-3€ günstiger... und dann auch noch 2.50€ für eine Sauce extra nehmen wovon ich für das bisschen Fleisch vielleicht 1/3 verbraucht habe... echt schlecht..

Sehr gutes Essen zum fairen Preis. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und es ist sauber. Das Restaurant liegt an einer Hauptstraße... dementsprechend ist das Ambiente nicht vom Feinsten aber soweit völlig OK.

Jedesmal wenn wir im Urlaub hier sind ist das unsere erste Adresse zum Essen - sehr gut 👍

Portionen waren früher größer und es schmeckte auch besser

Leider nur noch Mittelmaß. Wir hatten verschiedene Gerichte sowohl von der Speisekarte, als auch von der Wochenkarte darunter auch Suppe. Mit Salz wurde hier nicht gespart, so dass ich die Tom Kha Gai Version hier erstmal mit Milch auf eine essbares Niveau bringen musste. Ente und Hühnchen waren trocken und ohne Soße nicht zu genießen. Auch hier war die Kruste aus Teig übersalzen. Tatsächlich unterschieden sich die einzelnen Soßen zu den unterschiedlichen Gerichten nur wenig im Geschmack. Die Portionen waren ausreichend und im Gesamten geschmacklich in Ordnung. Allerdings kein Vergleich mehr zu letztem Jahr, hier liegen Welten zwischen.

Wir sind immer zufrieden, für viele Geschmäcker etwas dabei. Neben den „Standard“ Asia Gerichten gibt es eine Wochenkarte und leckere Currys.

Gemütliches Restaurant, das nicht dem normalen Cliché eines Chinarestaurant entspricht. Vor allem die Speisen sind weit über dem normalen Niveau und sind eher durch Vietnam beeinflusst. Eine tolle Erfahrung dort zu essen!
