Update 24 always nice to make a pit stop there and I'm looking forward to the new summer session! Before 2023 It's always nice to stop there when you're on your bikes. Price/performance ratio: 5 stars! It's really great since the son took over that this stupid lunch break no longer exists!!! Often stood there during the lunch break. I'd love to come back to Aschelöchsken! Greetings from Moers! It's almost done ALOpens from April 1st also during the week and also 22nd no lunch break 👍Winter time is finally over!!!

A nice place for a break in between...always very busy in summer. Food and drinks must be picked up from a small shop or grill and can then be consumed around the restaurant. There is no service. View of the Rhine as well as Duisburg and Düsseldorf.

Received as ordered! Rustic Pilsner in plastic chair romance on the Rhine under high tension! 2.20€ for 0.5 Köpi probably due to renovation delays.

Good spot to linger for a couple of drinks with a view of the Rhine. You can simply take chairs here and sit at the front next to the dike. On hot days it can get crowded due to many cyclists and walkers. Relaxed option for a stopover.

It's simple...it's simple...not a fancy Micki store...with reasonable prices...located beautifully on the Rhine... And it is precisely this “simplicity” that is so wonderfully relaxing.

Not even worth 1 star. Horribly dirty, unkempt and completely run down for years! Some broken, dirty chairs everywhere, just broken, outdated furniture. The toilets are an imposition. Definitely not a recommendation!!

It's supposed to be rustic, but it's just a beer garden without any ambience and worn out seating! If you are happy with bratwurst, beer and a super unfriendly landlady, you can enjoy the view of the Rhine..!!

Discovered on our bike tour and found it to be good. Directly on the Rhine dike with a rustic garden and friendly self-service. Wildly mixed tables and chairs create a special atmosphere. Cheap prices and a delicious meatball. The potato salad was just okay. The toilet is of the lowest standard and only suitable for very slim people.

Went there again and again with joy. But closed again, even though it was supposed to be officially open (Friday 6:00 p.m.). And we weren't the only ones standing there in front of the closed restaurant. This way you can also scare away your guests

You can sit there simply but comfortably and have a great view

The young man at the counter/sales desk could be a little friendlier or he shouldn't do the job. The tables and chairs should be checked and cleaned from time to time.

Beer garden with wonderful charm, has a bit of being at Grandma's on Sundays. It's great that something like this still exists!

It wasn't crowded in the morning, but that can change quickly in the afternoon when the weather is nice. Simple, nice atmosphere in the countryside, a very nice location directly on the Rhine. Very low prices for this location. We cycle here often.

Don't expect luxury, but the most important thing you need. A great, relaxed atmosphere and a great view of the Rhine.

What is that supposed to be? Seldom seen something so unkempt. Who is staying here?! There are enough places on the Rhine where it is beautiful, but certainly not here 😉 Potato salad gives the impression that it comes from a 10 liter bucket, no thanks, not here anymore

I've been going there for almost 40 years and arrived there today after it rained and wanted to order something. The senior manager brushed us off and said there would be nothing if it rained, even though some guests also wanted to order. Around 5 p.m. I spent many wonderful hours there, but we can also take our money elsewhere in the future!

We are there every year for Men's Day. That's why it's worth it. Beer and maybe a sausage is more than enough.

What an unkempt place. Toilets are terrible, service is more than unfriendly and complaining when paying 4! There were 5 cent pieces, apparently too lazy to count in the evening!

A good, original destination for bike tours, for example After-work beers and to celebrate the sunset.

The location is wonderful, provided the weather is good. It's simple, but all the more honest. All the employees are super friendly and it's hard to believe that you can still find something like this on the outskirts of Düsseldorf.

Great stop between Düsseldorf and Wittlaer and Krefeld Süd. Ideal for cyclists. Super cheap!

At the end of Wittlaer in the beautiful north of Düsseldorf is the Aschlöksken. Puristic ambience which becomes luxurious when the weather is right. There are drinks and occasional grilled food. Toilets also available.

Aschlöksken, a simple garden restaurant with a special atmosphere located directly on the Rhine. The garden itself offers plenty of seating under old trees. Chairs are always available and you can also make yourself comfortable outside the garden with a chair with a view of the Rhine. There is a barbecue and a delicious drink at good prices, what more could you want? The service is also very nice.

Kiosk prices. Quaint, stress-free beer garden. Great destination. Many 🍺 types of beer to choose from. There is always something to eat. ☕️ and 🍰

Very nice, slightly different beer garden in an absolutely great location. Super reasonable prices! Anyone who complains about plastic chairs etc. simply doesn't understand the concept. I think it's great that something like this exists!

Preise sind okay und man kann schön am Rhein sitzen.Ideal für eine Einkehr mit dem Rad. Leider aber ziemlich dreckig mit übervollen Aschenbechern und herumliegendem Müll.

ein kleiner uriger Biergarten, in dem man sich ganz ungezwungen aufhalten kann. Er liegt zwischen schattenspendenen Bäumen und direkt am Rhein. Es ist alles in die Jahre gekommen. Aber das macht den Biergarten aus. Seit dem Deichumbau steht leider ein Podest in der Mitte vom Garten. Auf dem Podest stehen Tische und Stühle, damit man sich wohl einen Rheinblick erhaschen kann. Leider lässt dieses Konstrukt den Garten wie eine Baustelle wirken. Es sieht unfertig und nicht einladend aus. Über Geschmäcker lässt sich eben streiten. Letztes Jahr war es noch so, dass es verboten war, seine Gartenstühle mit auf den Deich zu nehmen. Dieses scheint die Gäste aber nicht zu interessieren. Es sitzen Menschenmassen dort oben und lassen fröhlich ihre Kronkorken und Kippenrest dort zurück. Schade. Getränke und eine kleine Auswahl an Speisen können, für kleines Geld, käuflich erworben werden. Der Verzehr von Mitgebrachten ist auch möglich. Das zum Gelände gehörende Klohaus bedarf eigentlich einer schnellen Sanierung. Alles in allem eine nette Lokalität mit äußerst freundlichem Personal

Wirkt alles ein bisschen runtergekommen aber das macht es auch irgendwie aus. Bei ner Radtour am Rhein einkehren, Elektrolyte auffüllen (Bierchen trinken) und weiter fahren. Gibt dort Getränke, gelegentlich wird gegrillt, hausgemachter Kartoffelsalat, Wurst und Frikos. Keine Sterneküche aber gut (wirklich!). Mit fehlt nur was für Kinder, ne Rutsche, ein kleiner Spielplatz oder so

Beliebter Treffpunkt um dort während einer Radtour Pause zu machen. Es gibt auch was für den kleinen Hunger und natürlich allerlei zu trinken, sowie einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf den Rhein.

Sind bei unserer Fahrradtour dort vorbei gekommen. Gut gelegen, draußen wurde gegrillt. Drinnen wird bestellt, man bekommt dann seinen Kartoffelsalat (leider nichts besonderes) und kann dann am Grill mit den Marken das bestellte abholen. Preise sind soweit OK. Das mit dem Grillen muss noch ein wenig besser werden, vielleicht auch dem schönen Wetter geschuldet. Aber das hinter uns einer,obwohl ich noch im Bestellvorgang war, für letzte Wurst angreift geht gar nicht. Und sich auch dann noch beschwert das man unfreundlich ist? Unfreundlich ist sich vor drängeln, aber jeder ist sich selbst der nächste, nur weil man die Leute kennt die am Grill stehen? Die Reaktion von diesen Leuten hätte ich gerne gesehen. 🤔

Top Ausblick auf den Rhein. Gute Auswahl an Getränken bei wirklich moderaten Preisen. Perfekt für eine Rast auf einer Fahrradtour.

Diese Gartenwirtschaft ist einfach einmalig. Direkt hinter dem Deich am Rhein gelegen. Sehr humane Preise für Fass- und Flaschenbier. Das Essen vom Grill ist auch zu empfehlen. Wird zum großen Teil von Radfahrern besucht. Wenig Parkplätze.

Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in 1A-Lage

Ich hatte mehr erwartet, die Location war nicht besonders gepflegt, die Frikadelle gut, der Kartoffelsalat nicht außergewöhnlich. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, sehr familiär, herausragend. Leider waren bei unserem Besuch einige sehr betrunkene Gäste da, die einfach nur laut waren. Das Beste am Lokal sind die Stühle oben auf dem Rheindamm mit Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang.

Einfach,aber sehr schön,man hole sich sein Getränk und geniesse die Aussicht auf den Rhein. Jetzt Wochentags Entspannung pur. Beim nächsten Mal mit Essen.

Selbstbedienung mit einfachen Speisen und Plastikmöbeln. Aber sehr günstige Preise, große Getraenkeauswahl und einen schönen, schattigen Biergarten und am Rheindeich kann man sowieso immer schön gucken und entspannen (auch wenn es früher mit offenem Deich schöner war). Also volle Punktzahl, Aschlöksken ist schließlich Kult.

Bester Biergarten der Welt! Perfekte Sicht direkt am Rhein. Durch ein halbes Selbstbedienungskonzept können extrem günstige Preise angeboten werden.

Schon Jahrzehnte immer ein Pausen Punkt wenn wir mit dem Rad unterwegs sind,

Selbstbedienung. Zwanglos am Kiosk sein Getränk bestellen, einen Stapelstuhl an beliebiger Stelle aufstellen, sich mit dem Partner oder auch allein an der Umgebung erfreuen. Was will man mehr.

Richtig schön da und essen sehr lecker und preiswert

Die Gartenwirtschaft macht einen ungepflegten Eindruck, ebenso die Toiletten. Essen würde ich dort nichts. Schade, es ist ein idyllischer Ort und bei Radfahrern und Ausflüglern wohl auch beliebt. Selfservice und aus der Flasche trinken okay.

Ein schöner Ort zum Entspannen nach einer Radtour oder einem Spaziergang. Man kann schön auf den Rhein sehen.

Einfach ne' Pulle Bier holen und einen Stuhl und die Aussicht genießen.

Gut wie immer, man kann auch wieder auf den Rhein gucken.

Kultig. Unkonventionell. Schön.

Ist eben für eine Pause mit dem Fahrrad OK, kleine Preise, mit einem Gartenstuhl (stehen zur Verfügung) einfach hinsetzen wo man will, Sauberkeit so gerade mal ullala.

Einfach urig und sich seinen Plastikstuhl zu greifen um sich mit einem Bierchen oberhalb des Rheins zu setzen, hat einfach was!

Für eine Pause mit einem kühlem Getränk oder einem kleinen Hunger Perfekt. Egal ob Kaffee und Kuchen oder ein Bier und etwas leckeres vom Grill. Die Preise sind in Ordnung.

Abseits des Kommerz Einfacher Biergarten direkt am Rhein Günstige Preise, Sicht auf den Rhein nur ausserhalb des Biergartens. Wegen Corona derzeit nur Vorortverkauf an Tischen. Lecker Grillsachen nur an sonnigen Wochenenden. Bratwurst sonst leider nur aus der Microwelle. Viele Biersorten aus Flaschen, Auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert. Rheinwiesen durch Deichumbau nicht mehr zugänglich. Waren früher fur Kinder toll zum spielen.

Seid ich einmal hier ein Bier getrunken habe, kann ich hier nicht mehr vorbei fahren ohne anzuhalten. Nach einer Fahradtour kann man hier einen kleinen Urlaub am Rhein geniessen. Die Preise sind fair. Weiter Rhein aufwärts zahlt man deutlich mehr.

Es ist auch heute noch immer nicht so überlaufen und teuer wie andere Restaurants am Rhein.Man holt das Bier selbst und bringt die leere Flasche zurück. Die Speisen werden mit liebe zubereitet und schmecken sehr lecker. An Feiertagen und Wochenenden wird gegrillt.Der Blick auf den Rhein ist sowieso unbezahlbar

Hier geht es nicht um die im Laufe der Jahre gewachsene Verkaufsstelle von Bier, Eis und Bratwurst (manchmal aus der Mikrowelle...), sonderlich um den grandiosen Blick auf den Rhein, gerade wenn die Sonne hinter der Krefelder Rheinbrücke untergeht. Nimm Dir einen Gartenstuhl aus dem großen Sammelsurium und setz Dich mit Deiner Flasche einfach auf den Deich! PS: die Wirtschaft heißt „Aschlöksken“ - irgendwo sind die Punkte auf dem o verloren gegangen
