Artisan de la Truffe Berlin in Berlin

Located in the food corner of KaDeWe, this station focuses on dishes with truffles. Food quality was good, staff friendly, service quick, prices upmarket, interior modern and clean.

We stopped here for a lunch break during our visit in Berlin and KaDeWe. Good and friendly service. Very god salad, the risotto was too Cheesy for my taste and slightly overcooked.

Ingredients themselves are good quality. Unfortunately, preparation is rather meh. Pasta was cold.

We had lunch there today. My wife loves truffles. Unfortunately, I don't like truffles that much because I always found them to be too strong in taste. That's why I was very skeptical and still ordered the gnocchi with truffle cream sauce. And I have to say that this was the most delicious truffle meal I have ever tasted. I took the summer truffles. After dinner I told the chef about my real dislike and praised him for this wonderful meal. My wife also liked it fantastically. The chef was very happy and also said that he constantly gets bad reviews here. Unfortunately we cannot understand this. You have to like the atmosphere up there in KaDeWe. It's not really cozy and shielded from the other guests, but you won't find that in any restaurant. If you like truffles but also want to taste something else in your food, I can only recommend this little restaurant. We were able to put a big smile on the chef and his staff's faces and we were served very well. We will definitely eat there again on our next visit.

Delicious food, pathetic friendliness. The tattooed man with a cycling cap in particular attracted negative attention. You almost want to ask yourself what you can bring him to brighten his mood... With a bill of €40 (1x pasta, 1x rosé, 1x small water) I can expect professional and friendly service. You'll never see me there again.

A little gem on the 6th floor. Every guest is looked after very well and it is always a pleasure.

Great food and the selection of different truffles is always a highlight. I prefer to go there at lunch or early evening, which is a bit off-peak. The food is always delicious and, given the amount of French truffles, well worth the price. Due to the location, the ambiance is a bit more sober than in a restaurant. But I'd love to go back!

The new restaurant Artisan de la Truffe at KaDeWe offers an intriguing concept: a menu where almost every dish can be upgraded with various qualities and types of truffles. Unfortunately, the execution falls short of living up to the name and expectations. Service: While the staff was friendly, their overall performance was unprofessional and sometimes even amateurish. For a restaurant in a place like KaDeWe, one would expect a significantly more polished service. Several basic shortcomings were noticeable: for example, I was served sparkling water instead of still water, even though I had repeated my preference multiple times and the server confirmed it when taking the bottle from the fridge, only to serve sparkling water anyway. This was quite weird. Since the entire order wasn’t written down, I had concerns about whether I would actually receive the truffle toppings I had ordered, especially considering there could be a price difference of up to €80. Additionally, considering the upscale prices, it should go without saying that fresh cutlery is provided after each course, yet this was not the case. Moreover, some of the expensive truffle slices, intended to be the topping highlight of the dishes, ended up on the table instead of on the plate. Finally, when I asked for the bill, the card reader with the total amount was presented immediately without first offering a detailed breakdown to review – an approach that felt inappropriate and lacking transparency. Prices: The prices are high, and the same applies to the truffle toppings. At this level, one expects an exceptional dining experience and flawless execution, which, unfortunately, was not delivered. Taste: The taste is, of course, the most crucial aspect for a restaurant focusing on truffles. Unfortunately, the expected explosion of flavors was entirely missing. In fact, some fast-food dishes with truffle dips offer more of the distinctive truffle flavor than the dishes served here. The Foie Gras was another disappointment: it tasted like good-quality liver pâté but fell far short of the refined flavor one associates with premium Foie Gras. Conclusion: Overall, the food fails to live up to the restaurant's name or the promise of its truffle-focused concept. The high prices are not justified by the quality of the experience. Combined with the service issues and lack of flavor, the overall impression is disappointing. Sadly, I cannot recommend Artisan de la Truffe – neither for truffle enthusiasts nor for gourmets. It does not meet expectations in any significant way.

The service was so rude and rude - extreme even by Berlin standards. The food was okay but overpriced.

Unfortunately extremely unfriendly, we have been there more often but recently it has become less and less friendly - and that may be due to the increased number of visitors. We ordered truffle steak medium, which was served medium rare. When we asked to fry it again until medium rare, we were told extremely rudely that it was already medium rare. You don't meet the guests. It's actually a shame

“A sentence with ‘X’” - The avoidable “surcharge” for the truffle remains in the memory of the credit card, not the palate. Although we were sitting at the counter, so to speak in the kitchen, we were unable to observe (which we only noticed afterwards) because it was apparently just removed from its plastic casing and then exposed to heat. The most truffley thing was the snack nuts. The direct request to pay attention to the tipping option in the payment system was completely unamusing.

It was my first day in Berlin and I wanted to check out the shops at Ka De We. I was amazed at the incredible food court & decided I wanted some truffle pasta so I dined here. The service was very good & my waiter brought me some truffle nuts to nibble on before I got my pasta. I ordered the ravioli with truffle and it was very good! Alittle rich with the cream sauce but very tasty. I would recommend this cute little restaurant if you are in the mood for truffles!

The food was really delicious. But I had to deduct a star because it is really brutally expensive. Our (female) service was really great. The atmosphere is difficult because it is quite narrow but they don't have more options.

What a bad experience, what a shame to spend so much money on it. Service was terrible from this guy who was walking around (i.e. the boss 😂) he only had one other table and I still had to ask for cutlery when my food was already on the table and the drink came after the meal and that's how the ravioli tasted like reheated store baught ravioli, bad texture and taste, sauce can be better at home, it's a shame it just doesn't belong at KaDeWe. PS Service was even better as the woman served. It's a shame I've been here twice and always disappointed. There are no more chances

Top truffle pasta, friendly staff!

Please be advised that this establishment engages in questionable billing practices. Initially, they claimed to lack an internet connection. However, once the internet was restored, they charged you, but they said their system failed to register the transaction. Subsequently, they stated they would cancel the non-existent transaction, only to charge you again. Now, my credit card has two charges from this establishment for my lunch. I complained to them in person but they said the transaction takes time, this happened on September 5th, 2024 and today it's the 19th, and still, they haven't given me my money back. The manager of this establishment is Sébastien Richon or Cristóbal, and the waitress is Marcela, she charged me and also "helped me" but nothing happened. Plus, Sébastien Richon wrote this to Marcela (his emploee) about us: "auf schwund liste schreiben dann wegschmeiben". I found out this means: "Write them on the wastage list and then throw them away".

Bought expensive truffle oil after advice. Ingredients: olive oil, aroma.

Very good food. Atmosphere is okay, although a little loud.

For the money, the atmosphere at the Zoological Garden subway station is cozy. Very cramped, the table is sometimes too small for eating. Service is not attentive enough. The staff simply looks like a team from Netto Discounter. You can expect a bit of etiquette and an appropriate appearance. Truffle doesn't taste like anything, but the truffle salt on the table helps

Great ambience.. Artisan de la Truffe “at the KDWE and they have a nice shop for gourmets for gifts to friends or for trying out pasta sauces at home and much more.. Everything enriched with delicious truffles of the season.. Stop by and try the truffle pasta and a wine or champagne in between.

We loved the Pizzetta and the Rocula Salad was heavenly delicious. The service was very pleasant overall, but the cashier guy with painted and Chanel logo on each nail could have been friendlier. He had trouble processing our credit card and seemed very annoyed and frustrated, repeatedly insisting the problem was with our card. On the third attempt, the payment finally went through, but he didn't apologize for his attitude. Again, food was 10/10 ♥️

A recommended restaurant in KaDeWe. The atmosphere is very pleasant, even though the seats are between a corridor. Unfortunately, the chairs are a bit uncomfortable. The food is amazing. We ordered the tagliatelle and the gnocchi with summer truffles (you can choose between summer, black or white truffles) and both dishes tasted fantastic, especially the tagliatelle. However, there is a point deduction for the service. In a restaurant of this price range, the staff should at least be able to explain the differences between the different types of truffles.

Very uncomfortable and loud, food too expensive for the service... more of a tourist trap

Tourist trap - tourist trap Service? Unavailable. Chairs merely had steel frames. Little space to eat. Kellern calls over guests to another store. For the price of €50 per meal it's a laughing stock. It's better to go to a real restaurant than to this snack bar.

I would not recommend. We ordered the pizzetta and it came with ton of little insects on it. After we told the stuff about this ‚issue’ they said that we can order something else.

The risotto was very watery and the truffles were not aromatic. The waitress was unable to recommend a suitable wine. Price-performance: Very bad, almost an impertinence, and generally absolutely disappointing.

Delicious, quickly but conscientiously prepared main courses, each with a choice of summer, black and white truffles. The service was friendly but sometimes seemed a bit absent at the table. You sit right next to a passage from the escalators to the sales area, so it's busy and not very quiet. The tables are also quite small, which can be difficult for two people. All in all, a recommendation for a quick lunch while shopping.

What an absolute disgrace! I thought the kadewe had nice restaurants only but this one was horrible! Super expensive, bad texture and unpleasant flavors. The staff was rude and slow. They have truffle oil, salt and balsamic vinegar but offer nothing to eat with it, like no bread or olives. We waited 30 minutes to be served cold pasta and raw dough. The ravioli are store bought and not freshly made. I would never come back and cannot recommend this place at all.

Tagliatelle was bad! and consisted only of cream. Which had already become really hard. The truffle flavor was barely noticeable The salad was also a joke The service consisted of people who didn't want to be around people A pity :( That KaDeWe allows something like that I can't understand it either

Went there on Friday at 8:15 p.m. and were told they were closed. We checked beforehand and saw that it was open until 9 p.m. on Friday. We relied on that and took the journey ourselves... What a shame

Well, slowly the main focus is here. Waiting 30 minutes for a salad is just too much. There's no mention of the rump steak after an hour. There was NO accommodation.

Un sitio imprescindible para los entusiastas de la trufa. El risotto de trufa espectacular! cremosidad y sabor increíble, pura golosina y calidad… El cocinero y encargado, Cristóbal un maestro y majísimo! Siempre tiene un montón de detalles y hace Pauli por wie estes a gusto y disfrutes

One of the most delicious pasta I have ever tried

Gestern dort gewesen. Service war nicht gut. Kellner haben über eine halbe Stunde unsere Teller nicht abgeräumt obwohl sie nichts mehr zu tun hatten. Lieber selber getrunken und vor den Kunden über verschimmeltes Brot geredet? Ab halb 7 wurden außerdem keine neuen Kunden mehr angenommen. Kann ich nicht empfehlen.

It’s been my first time indulging in KaDeWe‘s food heaven. 😅 Usually the whole thing is a wee bit too posh for me and I am not much of a shopping guy myself but a food court like that sure gets your juices flowing. 😁 And we weren’t taking any prisoners! We went for 3 courses of truffles. 🤤 Still, that the simple toast with salted butter and slices of truffle on it was my favorite dish says a lot about me. 😂 The service was lovely and our truffle craving has definitely been satisfied! 👌🏼😁

가격도 좋고 직원이 아주 친절한 카데베 트러플 음식점 예전에 여기서 구입한 화이트 트러플 오일이 너무 맛있어서 이번엔 식사하러 갔어요. 카베르네 프랑과 트러플 파스타 트러플 스테이크를 시켰다. 식전 빵도 맛 좋았고 식탁마다 구비된 트러플오일 / 트러플소금 / 트러플 발사믹소스를 트러플 너츠를 맛볼 수 있다. 전에 내가 구입했던 트러플 오일이 이중 제일 맛있었다. 주문한 레드와인 카베르네 프랑이 아주 맛있었고 음식과 잘 어울린다. 트러플은 가격대비로 살살 뿌려줘서 맛이 아주 진하진 않았지만 ~ 전체적으로 카데베에서 장 보고 한끼식사 기분좋게 하기 좋은 정도! 나는 스테이크보다 파스타가 더 맛있었다. 스테이크 시키면 샐러드도 주고 식사가 끝난 후 트러플 초콜릿도 주시는데 식사가 끝난 후 트러플로 변한 인간 트러플이 되는 기분 🥰 햅삐!!! 어쨌든 다음에 또 방문할 장소. 다음에는 안주와 화이트 와인을 맛볼 예정이다 . 그리고 별점 떼인 이유는 내 트러플 기준이 높은것이지 맛이 없었던 것 아님 추천 꾹 🎱🧤🦋

Super Verkäufer heute Abend gehabt! Sehr lieb und vorkommend. Bin so froh das ihr endlich im KaDeWe seid! Beim nächsten mal werde ich auch vor Ort essen und nicht nur einkaufen wie heute!
