Richtig lecker und qualitativ die cevapcici sind die gleichen wie im Balkan und die Atmosphäre ist einfach super immer weiterzuempfehlen

Absolut top. Bin bei Cevapcici sehr kritisch, aber die hier waren wirklich auf dem Level von der Heimat.

Das Essen war super lecker – dafür 5 Sterne. Die Freundlichkeit an der Kasse hatte leider eher 1 Stern. Hoffentlich ist das beim nächsten Besuch besser.

Essen sehr lecker aber der Mann an der Kasse war sehr unfreundlich und hat mit einer genervten Art und Weise uns bedient Ich würde empfehlen etwas zu bestellen und zuhause zu essen anstatt vor Ort falls wenn jemand vor Ort essen will würde ich empfehlen (Keine Fragen zustellen oder mit den an der Kasse zu reden wenn man nicht mit einer genervten Art bedient werden will )

Update 27.05.26: es ist immer noch ein super leckeres Restaurant. Gerade jetzt, bei den heißen Temperaturen, schmeckt der kalte Schopska Salat zusammen mit den hausgemachten Cevapcici fantastisch! Wirklich sehr frisches und leckeres Essen. Ihr müsst unbedingt die Teigtaschen mit Nutella probieren… Super gut!!!

Es ist ein schönes und geräumiges Lokal, die Preise sind normal und das Essen ist gut, aber ich würde nicht extra deswegen dorthin gehen. Ich wünsche Ihnen viel Erfolg.

Ich war mit dem Fleisch-Burek zufrieden. Auch die Käse-Spinat-Savila hat mir gut geschmeckt. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Das Essen schmeckt wie Heimat einfach sehr lecker und alles frisch zubereitet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen. Auf dem Foto sehen Sie eine neue Spezialität, die ich ebenfalls sehr empfehlen kann wirklich einen Besuch wert!

Für diesen Laden gibt es eine absolute Empfehlung. Äußerlich zwar etwas unscheinbar, erhalt man dort authentische Balkanküche, die keine Wünsche offen lässt. Wir hatten Ćevapčići, Pljeskavica, Burek (mit Fleisch sowie Spinat) und auch Salate. Alles hat vollkommen lecker geschmeckt. Man konzentriert sich auf die Basics und verzichtet auf unnötiges Tam-Tam. Wer in Gelsenkirchen deftig essen will ist hier genau richtig.

Als Paar haben wir einen ruhigen Abend hier verbracht. Angenehme Atmosphäre aufmerksamer Service und ein rundum stimmiges Erlebnis.

Der Börek mit Fleisch und Kartoffeln sowie der Börek mit Käse waren ausgezeichnet, sehr lecker. Besonders lobenswert ist der Joghurt, denn den findet man selten, aber es ist immer Kefir. 😄

Wir bestellten Börek mit Käse und Börek mit Kartoffeln und Fleisch und es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt – alles war sehr lecker und frisch. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich, dass es echten Joghurt zum Börek gab. 😊

Sehr leckere halal Cevapcici, leider kein Kaymak. Es gab zum iftar noch kostenlos Datteln und eine Suppe. Sehr guter Service.

Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet, aber am Abend gab es keinen Kuchen. Deshalb ist die Bewertung nicht perfekt.

Als Student achte ich auf Preis und Qualität. Beides passt hier. Satt zufrieden und geschmacklich deutlich besser als viele andere Lokale.

Aus meiner Sicht handelt es sich um ein kleines, zurückhaltend auftretendes Lokal, dessen Stärke weniger im äußeren Erscheinungsbild als in seiner inneren Haltung liegt. Der Rahmen ist überschaubar gehalten und wirkt gepflegt, funktional und ehrlich. Gerade diese Unaufgeregtheit trägt für mich dazu bei, dass man sich hier als Gast willkommen fühlt und zwar nicht durch Inszenierung, sondern durch eine ehrliche, selbstverständliche, freundliche Art des Umgangs. Ich komme seit Jahren mehr oder weniger regelmäßig hierher und habe die Qualität über diese Zeit hinweg als bemerkenswert konstant erlebt. Schwankungen, wie man sie teilw. bei anderen Betrieben durchaus erlebt, sind mir hier nicht aufgefallen. Mein Eindruck ist der einer gleichbleibend soliden Arbeitsweise in Küche und Service. Kulinarisch liegt der Schwerpunkt für mich klar auf den Ćevapčići/Cevape und den gegrillten Fleischgerichten. Die Ćevapčići zeichnen sich nach meinem Eindruck durch einen deutlich präsenten Holzkohlegrill-Geschmack aus und bleiben dabei saftig und sehr aromatisch. Serviert werden sie klassisch mit selbstgebackenem Brot, Zwiebeln/Kohlsalat sowie Ajvar oder alternativ in einer hellen, sämigen Sauce, die handwerklich schlicht ist, aber sehr gut zum Gesamtgericht passt. Der Grillteller variiert gelegentlich in seiner Zusammenstellung. Ich habe hier kleinere Unterschiede zwischen einzelnen Besuchen wahrgenommen, insgesamt blieb das Niveau jedoch stabil und stimmig. Burek mit oder ohne Fleisch sind ebenfalls sehr gut. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis empfinde ich über die gesamte Zeit hinweg als sehr fair. Der Service ist aus meiner Erfahrung heraus konstant freundlich, aufmerksam sowie zuvorkommend und trägt wesentlich zur angenehmen Atmosphäre bei. Auch wenn die Karte weitere Gerichte umfasst, bin ich bislang bei den vorgenannten genannten Klassikern geblieben, da diese für mich zuverlässig funktionieren. Ich kann also nicht alle Gerichte bewerten. Insgesamt ist das Lokal für mich eine sehr verlässliche Adresse für eine unkomplizierte, bodenständige Mahlzeit ohne großartigen formalen Rahmen. Es lebt weniger von Effekten als von sehr solidem, ehrlichem und gutem Handwerk sowie einer Haltung, die dem Gast mit Selbstverständlichkeit und Respekt begegnet. Alles in Allem lohnt sich hier ein Besuch für bodenständige Balkan-Fans.

They served the others who came after me first, then me, and I had to tell them that, and they also protested that it wasn't true that we had been waiting, and at first they didn't want to let us eat, there wouldn't be room there, and there was room for the others.

Authentic food, just like home – that's what the Balkans really taste like! There's no comparison to the Germanized Balkan restaurants. And the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended!

The food at the Balkan Grill was truly delicious, except for the coleslaw, which wasn't to my taste. Unfortunately, the service was unfriendly, which somewhat dampened the positive impression. It's a shame, because the food is actually well worth a visit.

Maybe you can eat burek here but don't grill. I ate cevapi, they were filled with onions and only minced meat, they have no taste or smell, I make them better at home, cabbage salad filled with vinegar so you can't eat it. The prices are high and the taste and service are lacking, there was no one to clean the table when we sat down. Shame and embarrassment, now I've been and never again.

One of the worst places ever!! The staff is so rude and disrespectful!! You're told to leave your table and eat faster so other customers can leave their money there!! Not a single member of staff is polite, especially the young man serving who thinks he's the best of us. It's not worth going there!! The atmosphere in the restaurant is good. I always go there for the Cevapcici which is great; however, sometimes it is very salty, especially when eating it alone without bread. I tried the Cevapcici with Sauce, and it was even more salty. They have a sweets section that has good tasting cakes. The prices are not expensive.

Aroma Balkan in Gelsenkirchen 1A aso Great selection, good prices, 6 cebapcici with ajvar salad, onions, for another €1 you get kaimak and fresh lepinje. The staff is very nice, preparation is quick, and you can grab the leftovers and take them with you, what's nice is there are also places outside for smokers, with lots of tables, recommended Monday to Friday is enough, places are always full on weekends. parking spaces with luck...

De burek en banica zijn van ongekende klasse. Echt subliem en beter dan veel plekken op de Balkan zelf. De kebapi zijn ook erg lekker. De lepinja ook top. Al mag die van mij stukje meegebakken worden op de grille. Maar je proeft wat een echte bakker dit is. Het personeel ook erg attent en vriendelijk. Echte aanrader!

Tip top 👍 gibt es nichts zu meckern ! Sauber ordentlich und schnell und was das wichtigste ist der reinste Gaumenschmaus!!! Nur ein halben Punkt abzug aber das ist jetzt meckern auf hohen Niveau die Zwiebeln gehören zu ćevapi gewürfelt und nicht der Länge Nach gehobelt ... Meiner Meinung nach ...komme gerne wieder.

Der Teig ist echt super gemacht. Bei der Auswahl des Käses würde ich einen anderen empfehlen. Aber alles in allem sehr nett, gepflegt und lecker👍
