Arminia-Klause in Menden (Sauerland)

Very very tasty Asian food. The service is much friendlier than the big sushi chains that put everything on the table. It is ordered via tablet. 5 items per person per passage. Small menu but there is everything you want. Price-performance is extremely good. Will go there again.

Reservation for communion was announced two days in advance. I had specifically asked 4 weeks in advance whether he could keep the reservation. There were problems beforehand. Had to make several appointments to discuss the food. I was sent away several times when I arrived for an appointment. He didn't have time and arranged a new one.

Rustic restaurant that we have known for years and enjoyed eating there. Very good quality and value for money. BUT...today we were back after a very long time. The service staff were very quick and friendly. The food (1 salad and 1 schnitzel) was anything but good. The salad dressing was too vinegary and tasted like a ready-made product - although, upon request, it was supposed to be a homemade house dressing. The ham looked more like rolled beer ham. The salt and pepper I asked for had long since expired. Once on 09' 2023 and 06' 2024. A dip with pizza rolls was served with the salad. The bowl with the dip looked somehow strange. Not the dip itself, but what it was like in the bowl. See photo - I haven't taken anything out of the bowl yet! It's strangely prepared for my taste. I've never seen anything like this before. The schnitzel was tough and hard. The sauce tasted like packet sauce. I couldn't finish the salad. When we were clearing away we weren't asked whether it was tasty or whether everything was OK. So I just pointed out the expiry date of the salt and pepper - for which I was thanked and apologized. Unfortunately we won't be going to this restaurant again.

I haven't eaten something so tasty in a long time, I can only recommend it. A family business with 2 people or 1 who make the delicious food. Try it out. Price is right too 👌
