A very nice Italian restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and very friendly service. We loved it so much we went back two days in a row. The pasta with spicy sausage and a basket of Parmesan cheese was spectacular!

We stopped for a quick bite to eat just before the theater. Starting at 6 p.m., the crowd started to build, which pushed service to its limits (everyone at the same time). The food was very good. However, they could improve the meat dishes; only offer side dishes without herb butter, etc. (and offer more). Good rating because they really work on the quality of the food here and take complaints seriously! Thanks again 😊

A very good restaurant in itself, but if one were to only rate the food. Biggest criticism: a middle-aged waitress who treats every guest with utterly unfriendly and brusque manners, demonstrating with every pore of her being that you should leave as quickly as possible. This woman has clearly chosen the wrong profession and would be best off pursuing a career without customer contact. Added to that, they don't even show their appreciation for the guest with a nightcap, which should be standard practice at restaurants in this price range.

Very attentive service – courteous without being intrusive, just as you would expect. We had a salad with prawns and a lasagna. The brushetta was served on two plates beforehand – a suggestion from the waiter. The fried prawns were particularly delicious, and everything tasted very good. Thank you for the pleasant time and for making us feel like guests.

I ordered Rigatoni & Gnocchi 4 Cheese for pickup yesterday. I knew they had steep prices, but €35 for half-full portions is quite a statement. And it wasn't rigatoni, but small pasta. Once and never again...!

We ordered pizza for the theater that evening; it arrived on time and was delicious.

The food is good, but expensive. We ended up here out of necessity. The welcome seemed promising, but after that, everything took ages: drinks (20 minutes), food (45-minute waits to an hour), and clearing the table (which never happened). And because no one cleared the table, we had to pay right away. After our meals were brought, no one came to our table again!

The restaurant has a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. The menu offers plenty of choice, and the food is of excellent quality. The pasta dishes are especially recommended!

The attention to detail and genuine hospitality that is practiced here are palpable. The hosts know how to create a welcoming atmosphere where you immediately feel welcome. The service is attentive, polite, and professional. Requests (which I sometimes have) are happily fulfilled without having to express them twice. The staff are well-trained, friendly, and strike a pleasant balance between presence and discretion, which I greatly appreciate. The restaurant impresses across the board from a culinary perspective. The dishes are prepared with great care, and you immediately notice that fresh, high-quality ingredients are used here. The dishes are finely seasoned, balanced in flavor, and beautifully presented – traditional Italian cuisine, authentic yet modern. The visit is also extremely straightforward from an organizational perspective: The parking situation is relaxed, which further rounds off the stay and ensures a stress-free start to the evening. Overall, this is a restaurant that impresses with its quality, warmth, and professionalism. It's always a pleasure to be a guest here. We ate at Aria today with a larger group and had a really lovely day. The staff was very friendly and attentive – everything ran smoothly, even though there were a lot of us. The food was truly delicious. I had beetroot with goat cheese for starters – a dream. The main course was fish and king prawns with sweet potato mash and pasta. This too was incredibly tasty and beautifully presented. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Qué camarero inútil y grosero tuve en mi visita. Estaba cenando solo y me dieron una mesa. estaban un poco ocupados, pero tenía 4 empleados en el piso que podía ver. El camarero joven fue muy útil con la explicación del menú, ya que no hablo alemán. Cuando llegó mi pan no había nada con él como aceite y balsámico como las mesas que recibía a mi alrededor. También mi ensalada no tenía aderezo y era extremadamente desagradable debido a esto. Cuando pregunté, me follaron como si no importara. Pedí un segundo vino, ¡no vino! Cuando pregunté me dijeron que estaban ocupados, pero este cierto camarero tuvo tiempo para despejar mesas y hablar con otros clientes. Terminé expresando mi opinión al joven camarero porque entendía el inglés mejor que los demás, se disculpó pero no fue su culpa. Si no lo entiendes, ¡no finjas que lo entiendes! Yo tampoco era el único comensal solitario. Tengo 70 años y no espero demasiado, pero espero un buen servicio. ¡Nunca vuelvas!

June 2025 - family trip We happened to be passing through Stuttgart... we found this restaurant on the internet... it looked good... but the best happened when we sat down... served impeccably by Raffaele who was a pleasant company for the whole evening!! We ate there before going to the theater and planned to spend almost two hours there. The restaurant and the food were great, but the service was almost nonexistent. After the starter, we had to wait over an hour for the food. After telling the wait staff several times that we had to leave in a few minutes because of the show, the main course finally arrived. After an hour and a half of waiting (pasta, salad, pinsa). We had to devour the food and didn't even get a free drink or anything like that as an apology. There are apparently two chefs in the kitchen, but one just stands around and the other is extremely stressed. If you have a lot of time and are willing to wait a long time for your food, this is a top-notch restaurant; I would advise against all others.

Very nice and attractive restaurant. The menu and the food are good, but have been much better. The portions are now very small and manageable. It's almost impossible to feel full without dessert. The tall, slim waitress has clearly missed her job! Unmotivated and rude!

Because we were staying in a hotel nearby, we spontaneously felt like having pizza. So we picked up a Margherita pizza and a tuna pizza from the pizzeria. The pizza was well topped and the baking quality was excellent. The service was also very good, friendly and accommodating.

The food was great except for dessert. The starters were an eye-catcher both in terms of taste and appearance. The main course spaghetti was on point. Only the tiramisu at the end spoiled everything. There was definitely no mascarpone in it. It was a quark or yoghurt mixture that took me an hour and hot tea afterwards to get the bland taste out of my mouth. The dessert actually managed to ruin my evening. Given the prices and the other dishes, it's a shame. You actually sit quite comfortably. But at the next table there was a bachelorette party or something like that, which was celebrated with a lot of fun and, unfortunately, a bit louder. Luckily, over half were smokers and they also spent a lot of time outside. If you want to eat something before the theater, it's good. Unfortunately it was a bit of a shame for us for a special evening.

Añade tomate pobre a ese entrante y tendrás un entrante de muy baja calidad. Para principal tuve maccaroni con salsiccia. Sabor decente, pero solo tres pequeñas mordeduras de salsiccia. Mi compañía para la cena tomó sopa ministrone. Y por lo que sé debería tener pasta dentro, pero eso faltaba. Lo siento Aria, tu comportamiento de esta noche dista mucho de ser aceptable. Por lo tanto, realmente espero que el cliente lo piense dos veces antes de la visita.

Very tasty Italian food, very friendly service and good value for money

No more room at the radisson where we were customers, we came across this restaurant by chance and we were not disappointed! Impeccable service, and very generous dishes. The meat is remarkable! Thank you for this moment, we will come back if we are passing through.

If you want to eat there before an event in the theater, you should forgo starters and dessert. From 6 p.m. onwards the restaurant fills up rapidly and the kitchen and service can hardly keep up. Unfortunately we had a starter and our main course came and didn't come...we were already sitting on hot coals. When the food finally came, it was still lukewarm at best and we had to eat very quickly...so we didn't have any time to complain. Enjoyment is different. If you're very hungry, you definitely shouldn't order the spaghetti made from a parmesan loaf... for the sporty price (€16.90) it's more of a mini portion. The service was friendly...and they apologized for the long wait, which doesn't really help either. The tables are very close together, so you have to be careful not to bump into anyone when walking through them. Conclusion: better a few fewer seats, but satisfied guests.

We have visited Aria Ristorante twice in December. It was a pleasant experience, food was very tasty, they served parmigiano reggiano with pasta (that's great), pizza and vitello tonnato were very nice too. I would visit this restaurant once again if I'm in Stuttgart. Big thanks to the staff!

Wir waren am Samstag Abend zum zweiten Mal dort und hatten hohe Erwartungen, da es das erste Mal wirklich sehr gut war, nur dieses Mal gab es ein paar Mankos. Alle Teller waren leider kalt, weswegen das Essen schnell kalt wurde und die Tagliata war, obwohl medium-rare bestellt, innen roh. Die Spaghetti aus den Parmesanleib waren gut, der Trüffel für 9,50€ aber eher weniger zu schmecken. Vorspeise war aber sehr gut.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting – ideal for a relaxed meal. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning soon!

We were there for the third time now to eat in the theater before the performance...The first time the table reservation over the phone didn't work...we then managed to get a table with great difficulty but we were able to Service totally neglected and we just reached our expectations in time....The second time everything was great, the food was very tasty, but not cheap...The third time unfortunately it was a failure again...bad service...The Fish for 42€ the side dishes cold...actually Too bad...if you're lucky...everything works out...if you're unlucky...

We were there for the third time today. One time was good. The first time we had to wait forever for food and received poor service. We barely made it to the theater at 8 p.m. We were already there at 6 p.m. Today the side dish with the fish was cold. After I complained about it, a new one was brought to me, but it took a long time so that I was almost finished with the fish, otherwise it would have gotten cold. We won't go there again, especially since the prices are very high and the price/performance ratio is no longer right.

We decided to stop here based on the positive reviews online, but unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected. While the staff was friendly and polite, the overall dining experience was disappointing. The carpaccio we ordered was served ice-cold, which completely ruined the dish. I ordered maccheroni pasta, but what arrived was fusilli—a completely different dish than what was listed on the menu. The food quality overall was underwhelming, not even comparable to what we would cook at home. I’m giving 2 stars solely because the staff was courteous, but sadly, that wasn’t enough to make up for the subpar food and disappointing experience.

Sehr gutes italienisches Restaurant, sehr netter Empfang, die Antipasti waren ausgezeichnet (Vitello Tonnato, gebackener Schafskäse), die Pasta und Hauptspeisen waten ebenfalls sehr lecker, der Lachs war gut gegart, hier würden wir wieder einkehren.

„Der andere Italiener“ wer Pizza und Pasta wie beim Italiener um die Ecke erwartet ist hier fehl am Platz. Ein tolles Lokal. Sehr netter und aufmerksamer Service. Hervorragendes italienisches Essen. Qualitativ hochwertige Zutaten und ein Meister an den Töpfen und Pfannen garantiert ein wunderbares Essen.

Nice Italian style restaurant close to the Theaterhaus theater in Stuttgart. So this is a good starting point for the theater evenings start in time, they are not the fastest and we had some trouble in the end to get our food (which was good), but we had to eat fast to make it in time for the theater.

We didn't have a reservation on a busy night. The host found us a table and we enjoyed great food and service.

Visitamos junto con nuestros amigos pedimos sopas ministrone, pollo Ciken paillard , Fillet Trips con pasta y chuletas de cordero todo estaba muy delicioso. Quisiera agradecer al jefe y al propietario. Sin duda recomiendo este lugar que visité la segunda vez y fue simplemente excelente.

Positiv: qualitativ das beste italienische Essen welches wir seit langem genossen haben. Der Fisch auf den Punkt gegart die Beilagen top gewürzt. Die Pinsa im Rand knusprig. Der Belag sehr gut, geschmacklich kaum zu toppen. Riesen Kompliment an das Küchenteam!! Der Service war immer freundlich und aufmerksam. Negativ: zu bemängeln ist eigentlich nur die für Italiener typische Bestuhlung. Die Tische sind so nah beieinander, dass man den Gesprächen des Nachbar Tisches nicht ausweichen kann. Dennoch kann ich das Restaurant Aria vom empfehlen.

Die Chefin und das Service Personal sehr freundlich aber: Linguine Vongole, die mehr als al dente sind und noch 2 Minuten mehr gebraucht hätten, liegen sehr schwer im Magen. Für 20,50 € erwarte ich mehr als fünf kleine Muscheln und mehr als 100 g Pasta, wir sind hier nicht im drei Sterne Restaurant. Ein Italiener, der allerdings kein Tiramisu machen kann, ist ein no go. Kein einziges Gramm Mascarpone, Löffel Biskuit nicht in Espresso getränkt , ganze zu schweigen von etwas Amaretto, stattdessen Biskuit mit Sahne besprüht und Schokopulver, sind eine Mogelpackung !!

Pasta können Sie nicht! Sowohl FRISCHE PAPPARDELLE (mit matschigen Steinpilzen, höchstwahrscheinlich aus der Dose) als auch SPAGHETTI AUS DEM PARMIGIANO REGIANO LAIB (geschmacklose wässerige weiße Sosse, kein Parmigiano) waren nicht genießbar. Beide Gerichte habe ich nacheinander reklamiert. Die Chefin wurde sehr Grob und ließ sich nicht darauf ein diese Gerichte erst selber zu probieren und dann zu entscheiden ob sie die Gäste beleidigt oder sich doch lieber entschuldigt. Das Restaurant war voll, anscheinend sind es, so wie wir auch, Gäste aus den umliegenden Hotels (uns hat der Rezeptionist dieses Restaurant empfohlen).

After complaining about a pasta dish with canned porcini mushrooms, I was brought spaghetti with Parmigano sauce and truffles. However, these were watery and tasteless and I also complained about them after I asked. The boss probably can't handle complaints, she was very unfriendly. She is "spoiled" with countless tourists that the surrounding hotels send here (they are probably happy to get a table at all since there is nothing else in the area except several hotels). The prices are also very high. Outrageous.

Unfortunately my main course, the tuna, was overcooked, which shouldn't have happened given the quality of the fish. Overall, the service was well thought out and friendly, although it did take a little longer a few times. Despite minor weaknesses, a recommendable restaurant!

The four of us had dinner at Aria on October 4th, 2024. The service was very friendly. We didn't have to wait long for drinks and food either. The dishes were all very nicely prepared. Unfortunately the meat was rather dry and a bit tough. The pasta was very aldente. But that's a matter of taste. Overall, we were disappointed for the high price.

In itself a very good restaurant. The food and the service are almost at a top level, but unfortunately it is so loud that the overall impression is unfortunately not such that I would say, yes, I feel very comfortable here and would be happy to come back. More urgently needs to be done here in terms of sound insulation. We'll still be back, just not at peak times.

In any case, you had the feeling that you weren't welcome and were rather happy when you left. The gentleman who welcomed us was very friendly, but the lady who served us was very rude. Too bad! The ambience was great and the food was delicious. Unfortunately not again...

Good evening, yesterday I went to eat at the Aria restaurant, I ate a first course and the Aria salad... very good, chicken well done and everything well seasoned, very kind and helpful staff, very welcoming place. I recommend you go.

Was there for lunch today and was shocked by my “Insalata Aria”. A salad for €17.50!!! which was served to me in a soup bowl in which I had to look for the salad (which was supposed to be the main ingredient). 8 leaves of pickled lettuce, not a single word was it mentioned that the chicken was breaded (I'm gluten intolerant) which was definitely bathed in the deep fryer and was dripping with oil, but there were 4-5 large pieces in the plate. The feta cheese tasted like goat or was at least inedible when dumped and was crumbled on top like parmesan, I thought it was cottage cheese at first. We also saved on the egg (2/4) and the tomatoes (1 halved cocktail tomato). The walnuts were ok. All in one - a pure disappointment - €20 lighter and still hungry. My colleague had gnocchi with tomato sauce that was completely overcooked. The sauce was good. The waiter asked if everything was tasty, but didn't want to hear the real answer. Not a word of apology and no compensation either. Conclusion: Clearly, NO recommendation.
