We were happy to see that there were vegan options and sat down excitedly. We ordered the vegan pizza and a vegan schnitzel. The schnitzel cost €18, but we were very disappointed with the portion size. It was a small frozen schnitzel in a small decorative pine cone with a small amount of vegan cheese, three snack tomatoes, and a handful of arugula on the side. Our experience with the pizza was even more disappointing. The pizza came with mozzarella, not vegan cheese. I was immediately skeptical, as the difference is very noticeable. When we asked again, the waitress assured us it was vegan cheese. When I tried it, I could clearly taste that it wasn't... I wasn't even unsure; it wasn't vegan cheese. My companion then asked at the counter, and indeed, the pizza was incorrectly registered in the system, which is why the pizza wasn't served vegan. Meanwhile, the waitress asked again and took the pizza, obviously very annoyed and without comment. She left me feeling very stupid, and the tables next to me looked at me as if I'd done something wrong. I wish the waitress had been more understanding and said something like, "It's no problem, I'll take care of it," or "Don't worry," but the way she left me sitting there made me feel very uncomfortable. Eventually, we got the pizza with vegan cheese, which was immediately recognizable. All in all, it was an unpleasant restaurant experience that I don't want to repeat. The food was delicious, but the schnitzel was way overpriced, the pizza was brought out incorrectly, and then the mistake was handled unprofessionally. We felt more like a nuisance than welcome guests.

Unfortunately, I can only agree with Jasmin's review. In contrast to last year, the staff yesterday seemed very unmotivated. We also sat for extended periods of time (the longest was 30-40 minutes) with our empty plates and glasses in the warm conservatory without anyone asking if everything was okay and if we might want to order something else. We briefly considered leaving without dessert, but we didn't want to let it ruin our wedding day. After dessert, we went inside to pay, but once again, no staff came to check if everything was okay. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy at that time!

Five of us went there on Saturday after visiting the Visiodrom and we didn't regret it. Besides the pizza, you can choose two half pizzas with different toppings at no extra charge – great idea! We had seven different toppings, as ordered, and everyone really enjoyed it. It was actually quite loud (what can you reasonably do about that?), but we were still able to have a conversation while sitting in an "igloo"! Reservations are recommended. The ambiance is pleasant, and the value for money, including the drinks, is in keeping with today's standards. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back.

Beautifully decorated in a truly cool location! The iced tea is truly delicious! The pizza is large and really good. The service is very friendly and accommodating! Takeout is no problem; just call ahead and schedule a pickup time. Go, pay, and you're done :) The prices might be a bit higher, but the food is totally worth it!

The restaurant itself is fine. The food is very good. There are plenty of parking spaces. It's on the ground floor, so it's wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, it's quite noisy during or during a conversation.

Our expectations were high when we entered Aposto. The ambiance is very appealing and stylish. Unfortunately, this initial positive impression remained, as the rest of the evening was disappointing. The very high noise level was immediately noticeable upon entering; normal conversation was almost impossible; one could barely hear oneself. Our order was taken quickly and completely (drinks, appetizer, and main course all at once), which wouldn't have been a problem if the timing had been right. After a short wait, the drinks and appetizers arrived simultaneously. While we were still busy with the appetizers, the main course was served, even though the table of four people was already completely overloaded. The staff simply shoved the plates between them. Two of the four main courses were also completely wrong. When we asked directly about this, the staff reacted visibly annoyed. The corrected dishes only arrived after about ten minutes, and in the meantime, not even the appetizer plates had been cleared away. Furthermore, the food was only lukewarm. One dish was missing an extra ingredient that we had ordered and paid for, and we had to point it out ourselves so we wouldn't be charged. The low point came after the meal. With a fully loaded table, we sat there for a full 40 minutes without anyone clearing the table or asking if we wanted anything else. The staff seemed disinterested and preferred to be on their phones further back in the restaurant. After this long wait, we left the restaurant frustrated, without dessert, without saying goodbye.

Unfortunately, we can't review the food, but we can comment on the unfriendly behavior of the staff. Unfortunately, we didn't get to eat. Guests who had reserved for 10 people turned up with 14, and we were simply moved without any apology. When I complained about the behavior, we were asked to leave.

My wife and I went to Aposto with a couple of friends. The service, from the seating assignment to the serving of drinks and food to the bill, was very friendly and courteous. The drinks and food were plentiful and we all enjoyed them. The value for money was excellent for us. We would be happy to return and highly recommend Aposto.

Very tasty food and friendly service. It can get a bit noisy when it's really busy, but the tables are far enough apart to still allow for undisturbed conversation.

The surprise of the day! We were planning on going out to eat after visiting the Visiodrom anyway, so we spontaneously decided to do it right here. We were expecting a simple pizzeria, but wow, definitely not this: Super friendly and fast service, a witty menu, and a meal that was simply different. With fresh ingredients, creative combinations, homemade lemonade, and topped off with prices that weren't exorbitant. Thanks for the unexpected highlight of the day.

A beautiful restaurant with very delicious food

This was our first time here. Service was friendly and quick. A nice atmosphere, not your average experience. It was very busy and the noise level was accordingly high, but you could have a good conversation in the conservatory. Good value for money and a very tasty pizza, especially the pulled pork. It took less than 15 minutes from ordering to enjoying it, despite the busy place.

Unfortunately, despite the delicious pizza, our visit wasn't really worth it. The service was friendly, but noticeably brief and uninviting. The overall atmosphere was loud, cramped, and hectic—there's hardly room for more tables without people getting in each other's way. The open kitchen may be a highlight for some, but for me, the intense cooking smells were rather unpleasant. The fact that fresh milk costs an extra €1, even though they serve good coffee, leaves a bad taste in your mouth. It's a shame, because the food deserved better.

First time there – and immediately fell in love. From the appetizer to the dessert: everything was incredibly delicious, creative, and fresh. My Philadelphia cheesesteak pizza was a dream, my wife was sent on a culinary journey around the world by her BOLLYWOOD pasta, and the kids were happy too (even with pasta and butter). Service? Top-notch! Friendly, competent, and truly welcoming. The atmosphere? Pleasant and relaxed – even with three children. Summary: Great value for money, outstanding taste. We'll be back. And hungry.

I've been to Aposto for the first time in a long time. Friendly, fast service and huge pizzas at a reasonable price.

Delicious, really delicious. We were in the gas thermal bath and watched this wonderful 36o degree show. Beforehand, we had delicious hot chocolate with lots of cream and cake. Later, after the show, we had a wonderful meal here. There's everything from salads to pizza, pasta, fish, and meat. The kitchen is open so you can watch. Very stylishly decorated. Very reasonable prices. On Sundays, you can even have brunch for €19.90, including coffee. Our meal was delicious. Salmon and a 180g steak with grilled vegetables, two large 0.5-liter Kölsch beer, and a 1-liter bottle of water for €55. Top 😊

We visited the restaurant with three people as part of the Vincent van Gogh exhibition at the Gaskessel Wuppertal. The reception was very friendly, and the menu offered a wide range of options for an Italian restaurant. The portions (pizza) were quite large, and the value for money was decent. All in all, it's worth a visit if you're hungry after the exhibition.

We stopped here for the Visiodrom exhibition. We had two pizzas... which were absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was fantastic. Nice decor, mostly clean, and everything was in good condition. We'd be happy to return; we'd recommend it even without the exhibition.

Nice atmosphere, wait time for three Margheritas and pizza rolls was only about 10 minutes. The pizza was nice and hot, tasted really good, and was huge. I was completely full afterward. Price: €9.90.

Very good food. The spaghetti carbonara was very good. The ambiance was modern. Last week I tried the mushroom picker and the Smarties waffle with ice cream. Both were delicious. The tortelloni was al dente. The mushroom sauce was delicious and well-seasoned. The waffle reminded me of my childhood. The pizza was crispy and well-topped.

The atmosphere is quite okay, but a few little things are annoying. It feels a little lifeless depending on where you look. A bit “from the catalog” set up. There's a bit of detail missing there. Personally, the only thing that bothered me was the lighting, as open LED lamps can be very eye-catching. Everything tastes green. The portions were still reasonable, but still large for pizza. You would have been able to get by with just two centimeters less, which would make consumption a little easier given the small tables. Price-performance is a bit problematic. It's all about a euro too expensive for my taste. A cocktail for €11 with that much ice is pushing the limit. I would rather have the pizza 2 centimeters smaller and 2 euros cheaper. Service was okay. The location is very interesting, but it's also a bit like sitting on a platter. Somehow there is still a bit of separation missing to make you feel a little more comfortable. Overall okay, no major flaws or major negatives, but it didn't completely blow my socks off either.

The restaurant is visually beautifully decorated, you can eat inside and outside. The pizza tasted ok, but I expected more since the pizza was highly praised in the reviews. For me she was average, nothing special. However, it was brought to the table quickly, which is a plus. Unfortunately the cocktails weren't that good either. After a visit to the Visiodrom, I would still recommend everyone to visit the Aposto because the atmosphere is totally inviting

Die Ausstellung Leonardo da Vinci – uomo universale und der kleine Spaziergang auf dem Skywalk in gut 70 Meter Höhe hat den Hunger gefördert. Direkt im Visiodrom befindet sich ein auf italienische Speisen spezialisiertes Restaurants mit einladendem Ambiente, welches ich nicht widerstehen konnte. Eine hausgemachte Minz-Limonade war meine Wahl aus der reichhaltigen Getränkarte, sowie das Pasta-Menü mit dem kreativen Titel „Der Pate“. Eine offene Küche nebst großer Theke erlaubte einen Blick auf das Zubereiten diverser Speisen. Die Pasta war heiß und Frisch, Die Limonade erfrischend. Satt & zufrieden konnte ich die Heimreise antreten.

The restaurant is located in the Gaskessel Wuppertal, so it is a good idea to stop there after visiting the exhibition. Surprisingly, despite the "monopoly" location, there is a really cheap lunch menu with pizza, salad and drinks. The portions are large and everything was served very quickly. Despite all the hectic pace, the service staff were friendly and attentive. The range of dishes on offer invites you to try out dishes outside of the daily specials.

We were in the exhibition first and reserved a table for afterwards. The food was very tasty. From the starter to the dessert. Everyone was also very friendly. What I also liked was that you could use plant-based products.

We went there for a coffee after visiting the gas boiler. Everything was good so far and the waitress was extremely friendly. Nevertheless, we observed at the next table that when paying, a guest was not charged the price of an offer on a table display. The waitress then just said she couldn't do anything about it because she couldn't change the price entered into the system. The table stand price is wrong. She came to meet the customer but then did not immediately remove either the customer's display or the one on our and all other tables. This leaves an uneasy feeling that it may not have happened by accident but on purpose...

It's actually quite nice, but it closes very early during the week. (Were informed about the last round around 2100)

A fantastic restaurant in the Gasometer Wuppertal. We really like the atmosphere. The food and drinks have been excellent on every visit so far. Filled pizza rolls, pizza, or bruschetta. Everything was delicious. Our server, Maria, was very attentive and friendly. We'll be back whenever we're in Wuppertal.

It was our first time here, the food and service were good, but unfortunately the music was so loud that it was difficult to have a conversation. Because people then spoke even louder, the noise level increased to an unbearable level and we were happy to be outside again. We definitely won't be coming back.

The Aopsto has a nice atmosphere and the food is also very good. One star 🌟 for that, but the very loud music isn't nice at all. You have to be afraid for your vocal cords. That's why only 1 star.

I ordered some Bollywood noodles and tried them here and there from my friends' plates. Everything was super tasty. The restaurant makes a cozy, inviting impression and the service is very friendly.

I was here twice and ordered the vitamin syringe salad with the grilled vegetables twice. It's super tasty and fills you up well! For the athletes among you: you can order pizza and pizza rolls made from protein dough here! The cheesecake at night was also very good The service was very nice, we waited a little longer than usual for our food, but that was ok. Free parking spaces are available nearby, otherwise you have to pay for parking at the sports park. I can highly recommend it!

Very tasty food with large portions. Service was good, it was full on Sundays and we had a table right at the exit, so it was a bit tight, but completely ok. The half-baked cookie is super tasty, even though it said something about hot raspberries and mine were frozen, but as I said, it was very full. Next time I might say something because it would have been even tastier. The calzone thing for men is awesome, I easily ate twice of it. We'll be back!

Update: we visit here again and again at regular intervals. Our regular dishes are Pizza Lucca, Pizza Aposto and salmon with grilled vegetables. The quality is consistently good and the service is friendly and accommodating. Thanks to the Christmas competition we were able to look forward to 3x free Cola, 1x free espresso and a 0.7 bottle of Absolut Vodka with a bottle of Sprite - thank you!

The three stars only refer to the unfriendly waiter. When he took the order he seemed pretty listless. Then a friendly waitress brought us the pizzas, one of which was unfortunately wrong as a tuna pizza even though my friend doesn't eat fish at all. She took the pizzas with her and after two minutes this unfriendly waiter came and put the pizzas down like that again and claimed that we had ordered them that way. He then took her with him but stayed there. Does it have to be that way? Anyone can mishear something because it is also quite loud. He let us know right up to the end that we were in the wrong and he was in the right.

I was there with my family on Sunday and was thrilled. The food and the unobtrusive service were very good. The Aposto was very busy and therefore a little louder, but that was due to the ambience and The above-mentioned food and the great service were brought out again. We visited here once in the early days of Corona and then unfortunately lost sight of the restaurant. Now it came to our minds again and we spontaneously came here on a Saturday evening with our daughter. Even though it was very full and we hadn't made a reservation, we were offered a place in the heated winter garden and apologized in advance that they couldn't offer us a better place. However, we loved the ambience and the fireplace heaters. It was very cozy and warm and we were happy to be able to sit here. The service was great. At no time did we feel like we were on the sidelines in the winter garden. They looked after us and the handful of other guests who had joined us here in a touching way. There were concerns that we would be cold outside at just over zero degrees Celsius or that the table we chose would be too small for the three of us. The waiting times were pleasant and no one was pushy or inattentive. Everything was perfect! The food was terrific!!! And the table ultimately turned out to be almost too small, as the plates were very large, but not yet large enough for the food draped there. The food was very tasty and filling. The menu was very imaginative when it came to the names of the dishes. We will be happy to come back and definitely won't let so much time pass before our next visit. We are happy to recommend the Aposto 👍👍👍

We went there for pizza with 3 children today. Great pizza selection!!! Everything tasted great and the portions were large. The atmosphere is great and the waiters were very friendly, including to the children. If it weren't so far away from us, we would come much more often.

Six of us had dinner at Aposto on a Sunday afternoon and everyone was very satisfied. Both the starters and the main courses were very tasty and very filling. All dishes are marked with allergens on the menu and vegetarians/vegans will also find something. The service was also very friendly and the store was decorated very nicely. Only the noise level was relatively high because the store was very busy.

The pizza was tasty, nice base, good toppings. But in my opinion there are better ones. The service was a little less than adequate, but friendly. The ambience is nice, but a bit too loud for me.

First of all, no cutlery was given...ok Then I had my food returned because the sauce contained onions... when I ordered I expressly stated that I couldn't tolerate them. 2nd plate again onions in it. The waiter said I was probably mistaken; when I asked what else it was, he didn't have an answer. Was offered an alternative free of charge. It's all ok! Then the waiter came again and had to admit that there were onions in the sauce. These are pre-made and he (apparently even the chef) didn't know that. Sry but that doesn't work at all!!! If someone has intolerances and mentions them, you should be sure not to serve the guest anything that could cause them any health problems!!! We wanted to celebrate our anniversary there...everyone can imagine that they wouldn't want something like that. We immediately canceled the table for a large family celebration.

The service was very good and friendly. The food was first class and at a fair price. Have eaten here before when visiting the Gas Boiler and will without a doubt do so again.

We have been here many times and it has always been very tasty - both the main courses and starters and desserts. There is also space for larger groups and the cocktail dice roll invites you to have a fun Friday evening. In terms of price, the Aposto is also completely okay for the quality offered - especially in comparison to other restaurants recently...

Food was OK. Pizza well made, but sometimes strange combinations. Certainly a matter of taste. Unfortunately, the waiter forgot about us for about 20 minutes and we had to go to the counter ourselves to remind ourselves. So we hardly drank anything. But the children's corner is great. For 50ct you get a pizza box at the end to take leftover pizza home with you. Parking is subject to a fee.

The four of us dined at Aposto Wuppertal. Excellent food once again, three wonderful antipasti, pizzas with great dough, crispy and well topped, very good price-performance ratio. The service is very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately the interior is a bit dirty, stained chairs/seats, very worn menus and dusty menu holders. A little more care could help here. We would love to come back because of the food and service.
