Thank you for the wonderful experience! The pizza was extremely tasty, the service was very personable, pleasantly attentive and quick, and the location was super comfortable to stay there even after eating. I was and am so impressed that I tell friends and acquaintances about it and rave about it whenever the opportunity arises ☺️.

The four of us dined at Aposto Wuppertal. Excellent food once again, three wonderful antipasti, pizzas with great dough, crispy and well topped, very good price-performance ratio. The service is very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately the interior is a bit dirty, stained chairs/seats, very worn menus and dusty menu holders. A little more care could help here. We would love to come back because of the food and service.

We were with guests from the Harz, I ordered a table for 6 people but only 5 showed up. There were no problems. We even got a seat in the igloo. The food was very good and served quickly, even though the shop was very full. Everything was fine overall.

The food was okay, but I didn't have a good quality meal. The meat was inferior and had a lot of cartilage, so everything was more apparent than real. The service was nice, but unfortunately not very attentive - which may also be due to the understaffing. The atmosphere was very inviting, modern.

First the positive: the food was delicious and it arrived quickly after ordering. The negative was that the service was just bad. No greeting, just please and thank you, but the way you were addressed was very unfriendly. Forgive us that we would like to eat something in your restaurant. Then we waited 50 minutes for the dessert and the espresso. A few hand signals were skillfully ignored. It was then canceled on our part because we didn't feel like waiting anymore. There was no apology, just a reminder that it was very busy. It was already much emptier than at the beginning of the evening.

The price/performance ratio is okay, the food is good, the prices are reasonable. 🍕🥗🍝Depending on where you sit, it doesn't seem particularly comfortable, the background noise is sometimes unpleasant. But if the music is too loud and you ask nicely, it will be turned down. 😊

Pizza and pasta as well as dessert are always delicious. I really enjoy eating there. However, we miss the Pizookie :( my husband loves the coffee beans, he said it's the best espresso he's ever had. And finally a restaurant that offers an elderflower spritzer. The best pizza rolls and aioli I've ever eaten in a restaurant.

I can only recommend. Pizza, pasta dishes and desserts were very tasty.

I ordered pizzas to pick up from Aposto. I looked through the pizzas on the menu online and then ordered them over the phone. When I got there to get the pizzas I had to wait 15 minutes and then the surprise: the bill was almost twice as expensive as online. I asked why that was and was told that the official Aposto website couldn't be correct. Instead of €7 for a “Philly” pizza, €16 was then charged. After a short discussion, I also showed the employee the website on my cell phone. None of this convinced him and he insisted that I pay the full price. Since my pregnant wife didn't want to wait any longer for the food, I unfortunately paid the price, but it still wasn't right. The pizza was quite good, but not good enough to be cheated like that.

Been to Wuppertal for the first time. The Aposto restaurant was within walking distance of our hotel, so we asked us to reserve a table online in advance. I have to say it was a successful evening with my wife. Drinks, food, service. Everything was great 👍 We even got something from the cocktail happy hour. It is recommended without reservations.

Successful meal. Delicious starters, salads and pizzas excellent. I particularly enjoyed the pizza rolls with mozzarella. I was totally fed up...

Interesting menu and nice names for the dishes. Food came in the correct order, appropriately spaced and was still hot. Nice drinks and then we were lucky too - it was "happy hour". We will be back.

Great restaurant. Very friendly service. Map is manageable. But we think so 👍. good. You don't need to think about it for long. Everything tastes great, and above all: fresh.

Unfortunately the service wasn't that great. We would have liked to eat a little more, but there was no demand. In the end we went to the counter 😞. Some food not hot. 2 guests had to wait for their food while the others already had their food. Since it wasn't hot anyway, it wasn't ideal. Reminds me of Vapiano, pasta and sauces are just warmed up. Unfortunately, there's not much that's really freshly prepared in the chains anymore, it's more regenerated. Conclusion: quite nice, maybe for something to drink, but with more than 4 people or if you're thirsty, I wouldn't visit it. A pity.

Went there for the first time yesterday with my company. Very positively surprised by the ambience, absolutely great location. Service and friendliness was exemplary. Just perfect. Everything is perfect here, from the food to the service to the ambience. The dishes are without exception excellent, as are the cocktails. No long waiting times and very friendly service. Definitely the best Italian in Wuppertal.

I was there for the second time yesterday following a visit to the Visiodrom. We all really enjoyed it again. I think the price-performance ratio is great, especially compared to Cologne. I'm already looking forward to the next visit.

Food tastes really very good. The only thing that bothers me is that when it's quite full, it's very loud. But what can you do about it?

The four stars (instead of 5) only refer to the topic of “food”, but that is one of the main reasons for visiting a restaurant. The food was perfectly fine and good value for money. However, all 5 dishes (there were 5 of us there) always lacked a bit of pizzazz. Some of the seasoning was a bit manageable.

Food was good, there were also enough veggie dishes and even vegan options! Everything is actually quite nicely furnished, but it's not particularly idyllic, especially outside. But you have to bring enough time.

Our visit to the Aposto was an absolute highlight! Very good atmosphere, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic – especially the homemade pizza. Upon request, we received a perfect wine recommendation for our meal.

Great building from the outside. Far too loud indoors. We had the feeling we were standing in a train station. Food came quickly, otherwise the service was either understaffed or not attentive. We sometimes had empty glasses in front of us for a long time. The Dreierrlei starter was perfect and I would order it again and again. However, the pasta dishes didn't really convince us. The spaghetti ice cream was also just too sweet and was already melting on the plate when we received it at the table.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Leider wurde man nach der ersten Getränkelieferung komplett übersehen und man bekam nicht die Möglichkeit etwas nachzubestellen. Gekonntes an einem vorbeischauen. Als dann abgeräumt wurde kam die Frage nach einem Getränkewunsch. Diesen haben wir aufgrund der vorangegangenen Erfahrung, nicht mehr angenommen. Statt das wir nun gefragt wurden ob wir zahlen wollen, wurden wir weitere 15 Minuten übersehen, bis es uns gelang auf uns Aufmerksam zu machen, so das wir dann endlich zahlen konnten.

Great atmosphere with very good food. We were there with 3 people. Pizza and pasta were very tasty. The variations are something different from what you normally get. There are enough parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant. Service was good. We We'll definitely come back when we're back in Wuppertal. Price-wise, it's also completely okay.

For me, the restaurant is one of the few that deserve praise and I usually don't write comments. The reason I'm writing a comment is because the automated review program assumes I haven't written a comprehensive description of my experience. Anyway, the nice thing about this restaurant is that it is attached to this beautiful building. People outside of Wuppertal can visit the place and enjoy the Skyline experience in the gas boiler and then have one of the delicious meals in the restaurant. It's so easy you can just go to the restaurant's homepage and see the dishes and entrees. For me, the best dishes at the moment are the grilled dishes and the desserts they make. I can't deny the delicious taste of the pizza. I also like the decoration of the restaurant.

The pizza is huge and very tasty. If you're looking for "normal" pizza toppings, you won't find anything other than Margarita. The combinations offered sound delicious. I had the vegetable rush, my husband had the Goa. They were both very tasty and the price is relative to their size. We found the somewhat slow service annoying; we had to wait a long time to pay. In addition, the windows were open at the top, which meant that it was constantly very cold over the table. Absolutely uncomfortable. It's also a bit stupid that you pay €1 per hour for parking.

It was really nice and I'll be back again. The service is nice but inexperienced, as is often the case. I was a bit disappointed, I was expecting something crazy from their advertising, but there was no "punk" there, everything was completely normal. Giving the food a different name is not enough to be different.

I don't actually write reviews based on just one visit, but since our impression was so mixed, I'm breaking this rule here. We had a little difficulty finding the restaurant as we couldn't find any signs on the (side) street. If you lift your eyes a little and look at the old gas tower, you can see where you want to go. Nice (paid) parking lot right next door. The restaurant is not the small, personal Italian restaurant from the neighborhood but a larger system catering restaurant. Reminded me a little of Vapiano, of course with a conventional operating concept. Let's come to the negative side: as is unfortunately common today, the service team seems like a ragtag bunch of students without any further training. Friendly, yes, but completely disorganized, inefficient and somehow helpless. The ordering and serving process somehow didn't fit. The clientele is, of course, an absolute "matter of taste" and assessed here extremely subjectively, but more than half of the visitors gave us the impression that they had come straight from the music studio in the same building (without making a trip to the showers), pumped up bearded young men in sports clothes, scowling, sipping cocktails. As I said, it's more of a personal thing, but I didn't want to leave it unmentioned. Unfortunately, the casserole we ordered was completely cold (as a result of the aforementioned "jerky" service), and we were offered a coffee on the house as an apology. The positive thing now: the food tasted very good (three kinds of starters were TOP, the potato casserole tasted VERY GOOD, the pasta was GOOD), and the house wine was also very good. I would classify the prices as reasonable with a tendency to be too cheap. Conclusion: taste great, but not “nice” for us. We would like to continue trying it there, but I think the atmosphere there will stop us from doing so, which is a real shame!

Very good service! I have nothing to complain about here. Unfortunately, the quality of the pizza was disappointing. We had the margarita and it just didn't taste like anything. The cheese was the bore, like chewing salty gum. The sauce doesn't taste good at all. It just didn't taste like anything. The dessert was also super tasteless, the milkshake only tasted like milk. Where was the ice cream?

The Aposto is located in the Visodrom and a visit to the exhibition and viewing platform is a good combination. Nice atmosphere, good selection of dishes, the Dreierlei starter plate is recommended.

We can only recommend the cuisine here. Everything was incredibly delicious. The service was nice, but - probably like everywhere else - there was too much to do because there weren't enough staff. That was a bit of a shame for us - but especially for the employees. Otherwise: perfect.

Nice decor, great Italian food at normal prices, large portions, fast and friendly service. Since the portion was too much for me, the waitress told me without being asked that she would be happy to pack the rest to take away, and there would be an extra tip for that. All in all highly recommended

One of the best restaurants in all of North Rhine-Westphalia. Taste wise a 5/5. Very nice restaurant. I can recommend it to everyone. Pizzas are first class. Pulled pork is a dream.

Went there last Thursday with a small group of church people. Before the Leonardo tour, we had super nice, sweet service, lovely girl. Fast, courteous, good tips. After the tour: unfriendly, unfocused waiter. Rude, almost cheeky. Want to serve wrong order...spicy pizza instead of Aposto. Can happen. But his behavior went through, you could hardly order another drink, his friends who were present were more important. SHAME! It's actually not common there

There was nothing wrong with the food. However, the service was below average. We had reserved a table. Although many tables were unoccupied, we were assigned a very narrow table where we had to sit back to back with the guests at the neighboring table. When we asked if we could please have another table (of the many free tables), we were offered a tiny table on which the plates barely fit. The service also seemed a bit clumsy. She had never heard of an entertainment receipt before (!) Only a colleague was able to help her. We also had to clear our starter plates ourselves to make room for the main course. As I said: the food was ok. - the service was “awesome”...

We were at the Visiodom today and still had some time before the performance! We then decided to have a drink at Aposto! We were warmly welcomed by the lady behind the counter and were able to choose a table. The service person Oxana was very friendly and responded to all of our needs. We would love to come back and can also recommend it very well 👍.

The ambience is outstanding. We went to the Visiodrom first. Afterwards the kids wanted pizza. There were four of us, a pizza and a small drink each cost 62 euros. On average it would be acceptable, but 2 out of 4 pizzas were cold. The topping was so semi. So no recommendation from us. Then it's better to go into town and eat something there

We ordered the pizza online. One pizza arrived too few and all the toppings from another pizza were spread out in the box and no longer on the pizza. Aposto didn't take any notice of it. We're stuck with the money!!! We will neither order here again nor eat there. Pizza also tasted very neutral!!!!

Food was ok but the waiter was a complete catastrophe, he was a sporty guy with black hair, disrespectful, rude, that's not what you'd imagine

Die Karte liest sich ganz gut, es finden sich mal etwas andere, teilweise sehr mutig kombinierte Gerichte darauf. Der Service war sehr auf die schnelle Abfertigung aus: direkt Getränke, Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte in einem Anlauf durchtakten, Getränke servieren und danach erst nach Aufforderung wiederkommen. Leere Gläser werden nicht bemerkt, vier Gerichte kommen nicht a la minute, und eine Pizza ist kalt, als sie auf Nachfrage serviert wird. OK, es wurde Ersatz angeboten, was in Ordnung ist. Geschmacklich waren die Gerichte ganz gut, die gemischte Vorspeise für zwei Personen sogar geschmacklich ausgezeichnet sowie auch sehr nett angerichtet.

Pizzabrötchen waren noch teils roh im Teig ist mir jetzt schon 2 mal passiert von 5 mal sehr schade, da ich sie eigentlich gern esse. Rufe vorher immer an, dann wird gesagt es würde 10 min zum abholen brauchen, dann warte ich noch min. 10 - 20 Minuten im Laden. Sorry, aber das ist kein guter Service! Die Kellner wirken auch so als wäre es absolut nicht koordiniert.

Waren mal wieder Pizza essen. Dieses Mal mit Familie . Alle waren sehr zufrieden. Pizza sehr gut. Unsere 3 Enkelkinder fühlten sich gut aufgehoben. Tolle Kinderspeisekarte (gleichzeitig Malbuch) direkt Stifte dem Tisch. Zum Abschluss gab es für die Kinder als Überraschung noch ein tolles Eis nach Wahl. Alle waren sehr zufrieden, wir kommen natürlich wieder.

Edit because the review was deleted for some unknown reason: Unfortunately, the service is regularly overwhelmed and cannot keep up. It's been that way since it opened, no matter how often the staff changes. On our last visit in August 2023, we waited over an hour for our food. Price performance is great here though. The huge margarita for (most recently) 8.90 euros is filling and the vegan cheese doesn't cost anything extra, which I have to praise at this point because it's not common. Extra requests are implemented just as well.
