Well the food wasn't particularly tasty, the waiter was really rude, I bought an elderflower spritzer but only got water when I asked about it I probably only got syrup, it was undrinkable and sugary sweet, the toilets were really disgusting, I vomited in the sink in the men's toilet when I asked about it and it still wasn't cleaned up, sorry but I wouldn't recommend it.

I'm truly speechless at how unprofessionally this restaurant is run. For the third time (!), I've found myself standing in front of closed doors during official opening hours or being told the kitchen is already closed – and this in the middle of the evening at 8:30 p.m. It's clearly stated on Google that it's open until midnight. How on earth are you supposed to feel? Honestly, this is an absolute disgrace to guests. This is a huge disappointment, especially for people who aren't from Schweinfurt and might even make the trip here. No notice at the entrance, no correct information online – simply closed. This is not only unprofessional, but simply disrespectful to customers. For a restaurant that actually wants to maintain a good reputation, this kind of behavior is a disgrace. I will definitely not be coming back and can only advise everyone not to rely on the alleged opening hours.

Aposto in Schweinfurt offers a successful combination of modern ambiance and Mediterranean flair. The selection of pizza, pasta, and creative dishes is diverse and very tasty. The stone-baked pizza was a particular highlight. It was crispy, freshly prepared, and topped with delicious toppings. The service was friendly and attentive. Even though it can take a little longer at busier times, you feel well looked after. The drinks selection is also excellent. The homemade lemonades and cocktails are highly recommended. A slight point deduction is due to the noise level in the dining room when it's busy. Nevertheless, the atmosphere is pleasant, and you feel welcome. Overall, a very nice restaurant for a relaxing evening. I would gladly return.

The food is excellent, the service made us wait a bit, and the ambiance is perfect downstairs but nothing special upstairs. A major criticism are the unpleasant dish names.

We were here several evenings with several people. A wonderfully cozy atmosphere with its own unique character and a wide selection on the food and drink menu. The service was prompt and always friendly every evening. The food – we had stone-baked pizza and pasta – was plentiful, very well prepared, very tasty, and far above standard. The excellent cocktails, magnificently prepared by Ocio, were extremely good and left us wanting more every evening. Ocio was always very friendly and dedicated to his work. Not a robot, just a human being. I've had cocktails 🍸 many times, but these were made by a master. Even as we left Aposto on the last evening, the chef was there eating. As we passed him, he wished us a pleasant evening and thanked us very kindly. I can highly recommend Aposto...in every respect, including the interesting interior. Unfortunately, it's a four-hour drive from where I live. Thank you for the lovely evenings.

Been to Aposto many times, the food is always really good quality and nicely presented. Good for families and larger groups.

The pizza was nothing special. But at least it was edible. The service was disastrous. A sudden onset of rain meant that the guests had to move to the vaulted cellar. None of the staff were there to help. They stood there in the dry and stared into space. The same thing continued in the vaulted cellar. Instead of looking after the guests, the staff talked to themselves. Maybe it wasn't even the service staff. What sensible restaurateur would have their staff walking around in shorts for a restaurant with this ambiance and that calls itself a restaurant? That's fitting for a beach bar. And so is the loud disco music, by the way. The Aposto seems to have degenerated into a nightclub. Any beer tent at a folk festival offers better service. And now we come to the big problem - the prize question: What's wrong with the photo? Is the glass too big or the straw too small?

Pizza and pasta were rather disappointing. There are better places for Italian food. A good place for cocktail happy hour.

Nobelpasta had no flavor and hardly some cream or sauce, it tasted like eating pasta with nothing else. Beer was good though.

We had rump steak with two side dishes. Cost: about €35. The food was delicious 😀 They also had pizza and pasta, which were also delicious. We sat outside in the beer garden and ate there. The atmosphere was great, with a view of the market square. The service was friendly and helpful. You should reserve a table, especially with a larger group. We'll definitely be back on our next visit.

Great location and really nice decor. The waiters are always friendly, too. However, there are much better Italian restaurants in Schweinfurt when it comes to the food; this one is rather mediocre.

Nothing special, food-wise. The atmosphere is really good, but the dishes definitely have room for improvement. If you're looking for a nice evening, this is still the place for you, but don't expect too much from the food. Definitely worth a try. Best regards

Tasty but nothing special, salad very lightly seasoned

Wir haben eine Busreise mit Stadt- und Museumsbesichtigung nach Schweinfurt unternommen. Wir waren eine große Gruppe mit ca. 35 Personen. Für uns waren im sepaten Teil des sehr schönen Keller-Restaurant - ehemaliger Ratskeller? - Tische reserviert. Die anderen Gäste waren durch die Gruppe nicht gestört. Der Service war perfekt - schnell, freundlich und aufmerksam. Für uns war eine kleine Karte vorbereitet und jeder hat was gefunden. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Preise haben gestimmt.

Unfortunately, there aren't enough seats with backrests available during the week. When I eat at a restaurant, I want to sit comfortably. For me, that includes a backrest, even on a bench.

The ambiance is great. The cellar has a feel that makes you feel completely at home. The outside area in front of the town hall, right in the city center, is also very pleasant and extremely beautiful on warm days. We haven't been there in at least two years, as the quality of the food had declined significantly. Last week, we wanted to give the restaurant another chance. What can I say... We were there for the third time today. Great pizza, perfect steak (cooked to perfection, juicy, and well-seasoned), and delicious pasta! Top-notch quality!

Clean and very nice and aesthetic ambience with a very courteous service, which is never long in coming. The food is heavenly and the portions are never small, of course you can have everything packed up. Super great job!

Disappointing experience We have these in this restaurant today Ordered "sugar-free" lemonade, which was announced to us as sugar-free and without artificial sweeteners. Unfortunately, the taste was extremely sweet, which made us suspicious. After consulting with the boss, he explained that there was no sugar but other ingredients were used. Nevertheless, the sweetness was unpleasant for us and did not meet the expectations of a sugar-free drink. When we ordered another drink, the boss wanted to charge for it even though we hadn't consumed the original drink. His reaction was not very accommodating and not customer-friendly. Such experiences leave a bitter aftertaste. We hope that the restaurant will provide more transparent information about the ingredients in its drinks and act in a more customer-friendly manner in the future.

Great atmosphere, nice staff. The prices are too high. Changes to pizza are not possible. I had a Goa pizza with some toppings in the middle, otherwise just dough. Not enough for the price. My conclusion, it was an experience, but again, no! It's a shame I had promised more.

Very nice location. I liked it very much. Food also very tasty.

We had dinner here and found it had a cool vibe but we found the menu confusing with the kind of combos in pizza and pasta. We stuck to classics like carbonara, Aposto pizza, and Der Pate. In all the dishes, the meat added was inappropriate and did not go well with the dish/sauce itself. Do not recommend it if you’re looking for a delightful Italian dish.

Very impressive and really tasteful ambience inside and cool even in summer thanks to the natural vault. The pizzas and salads are very tasty and well topped. The portion is a good size and really fills you up. Slightly more expensive than the run-of-the-mill Italian; But if you want to try the "punk" dishes, definitely a recommendation for this price. We'd love to come back! + Homemade iced teas are super delicious!

Unfortunately, I have to change my review. The menu has changed, as is the case almost everywhere (€€€), but the portions have also been reduced due to flexitime. They should have noticed that there's now a competitor where you can still park for free.

A great salad on the first visit and delicious pasta on the next. And the wine was very good! The service is always friendly and quick.

Normally we really enjoyed going here, but unfortunately the one service person left a negative impression on us. There were 4 of us here last Sunday, there was an insect in a salad (we know that this can happen, you never know what is hiding between the leaves), we passed this on to the employee, there was no apology, just a grimaced face and an "ugh, yes, that shouldn't be in there." When we said that the salad could be taken away, we just said, “Do you want to order dessert otherwise I’ll close the kitchen now?” When we were ready to leave, she was eating and kept looking at us but didn't come to collect, we gave clear signals that we wanted to leave, in the end we ran to the bar and only then did she lay her food aside and collect from us. Luckily the salad was canceled but there was no apology from her when we left. Otherwise everything was good, the food was delicious, the ambience was nice as always except for the noise.

We were there for lunch and ordered two lunch menus as well as the special offer with a salad and a drink. The drinks were served but the salads didn't come. When we asked, the waiter claimed that we only ordered the drinks. This made no sense at all - why should we just get the drink when the drink and salad deal is cheaper than the drink alone? Despite our attempts to clear up the misunderstanding, the waiter refused to acknowledge the mistake. We suggested we simply adjust the order accordingly, but he refused and gave an unconvincing explanation that the order was already in the system. He spoke in an inappropriately loud tone. Overall it was a very unpleasant experience. The lack of customer service and inability to professionally resolve such a simple situation marred the meal significantly. The waiter in particular showed no social skills.

now pure rip off... Actually, as regular customers we have always been very satisfied here, after the prices increased again by 2-3€ per dish, the kitchen immediately decided to reduce the meatballs in my “Pizza Brandstifter” from 8 to two halves. There also seem to be notable differences between Aposto Schweinfurt and Aposto Bamberg (see pictures) - we would rather stop off in Bamberg, as at least there are toppings on the pizza according to the menu. When we asked, we were just told “that’s just the way it is” - we are disappointed!

Been here many times before. Excellent food. Wonderful atmosphere. Good prices for good food! One of my favorite places to go when I come to Schweinfurt to see friends and family!!! Highly recommend for Germans and Americans.

Too loud at prime time since the renovation... a little more sound-absorbing surfaces instead of glass and sheet metal wouldn't have hurt in the vaulted cellar. Plus you wait a very long time.

Preis Leistung absolut unterdurchschnittlich!!! Postiv: das Rindercarpaccio war gut. Der Preis damit absolut ok. Negativ: die Pizza für knapp 16,00 Euro solle halb Brandstifter halb Lucca sein - war im Ergebnis eine margerita … auf der sich EINE Scheibe Salami und eine HALBE Scheibe Schinken und exakt EIN Fleischbällchen verirrt haben. Ich wäre im Prinzip direkt nach dem Eintreffen wieder gegangen. Da ich nicht wusste für wie viele Personen der Tisch reserviert war (ein Freund hatte den Tisch reserviert) wurde mir der Tisch nicht gegeben. Ich musste warten bis die Person eintraf, die gebucht hatte. Begründung: „wir sind ausgebucht“. Ich habe es nicht verstanden! Nie wieder! Schweinfurt hat so viele Italiener. Aposto braucht keiner.

I've eaten here as a couple and also in groups. Every time the food was very good. The furnishings are also very stylish and the employees are really nice and accommodating. Perhaps the boxes and equipment on the walls and ceilings could be dusted. It's also not the cheapest restaurant. But quality has its price, so it's actually justified.

‼️the most unprofessional experience in my life‼️ If you decide to go here you might as well rethink your decision because you’ll get the door slammed in your face and have your night ruined ‼️ The first time we went to this place we had pasta carbonara (which was very dry and unpleasant) but we decided to give it another shot and try something else this time since no other restaurants nearby were open otherwise I promise you it would’ve been our last option. The restaurant itself is pretty nice interior wise, but the staff that was on shift yesterday very disappointing and rude. It made us feel like we got into someone’s home not a restaurant where we pay ourselves to eat! Here’s what happened: Around 9pm we went there because it said on Google that they’re open till midnight. We had no reservation so we politely asked them if there are any free tables since there were already people inside (around two tables). So it looked pretty free. The staff was collected just chatting and laughing when one of them came to us and told us that they do have free tables however they already closed everything including the bar (when there were literal people sitting and drinking) and that they are planning on going home (I guess since it was Sunday and not as full) so they wanted to get home earlier. But for whole 3 hours?! That’s a shame. They turned away paying customers 3 hours before closing the restaurant! Half a shift! And here’s the interesting part. When we came outside we were standing for 10 minutes searching for something new, meanwhile two other couples came dressed nicely wanting to enjoy nice Italian food over the weekend. And guess what? They LOCKED the door so they wouldn’t get any new customers coming inside. What’s the interesting part? All of them had reservations upfront and all of them got the doors closed in their face. 6 of us were just standing there (they even tried reaching the restaurant unsuccessfully) in disbelief. You turned away 6 paying customers in 10 minutes! 3 hours before closing! Without any explanation or apology yet alone give them another one. You straight up ghosted those people like we would’ve eaten for free and ruined everyone’s weekend plans! Bravo!!!

We were there as a large group. The table was reserved in advance so I can't really say anything about the space available. What I can say, however, is that the place seemed to be completely full. It was very, very loud and it was very difficult to have a conversation. The service could be good but due to the number of people it sometimes took a long time until you could order and then receive your order. Ordering was only possible with one waiter and the other then delivered to the table. Unfortunately, this didn't get noticeably better later on with fewer guests. I still see room for improvement here. I had Pizza Brandstifter and can therefore only rate this one. The taste was good, but nothing more. In terms of price, this is in the middle range. Overall just okay for me. But if you like, you are welcome to stop by yourself.

Location absolutely top. Price performance goes like this. 10€ for a simple plate of leaf lettuce with 2 cherry tomatoes is quite steep. Pizza (men's thing) could have stayed in the oven for a good 3 minutes longer. The service (Paula) was quite unfriendly, no smile and very inattentive.

The two of us were in the restaurant last night. We haven't visited it for some time but we still remember it fondly. My pulled pork pizza was cold, my friend's vegetables with her steak were almost raw and the salad was quite oily. The best part of the meal was the dessert, which consisted of a half-baked cookie dough. The waitress, who was actually quite friendly, didn't speak to us when the glasses were empty. Vaulted restaurant in the basement. Lots of places and also smaller rooms for social gatherings. Friendly service and tasty food. The time from ordering to serving was less than 15 minutes. Despite 12 people at the table!

Always great to come here. Delicious food, great courteous staff. At Christmas there was even a roast with dumpling or spare ribs as a special. You definitely have to try the pizza there.

We were there today and had a pizza and a portion of tortellini with mushroom sauce. The latter was tasty but unfortunately far too small and you didn't feel full at all. The pizza tasted very bland and boring. In general, the price-performance ratio here wasn't right at all. The service was quite good, only one waitress was rude and seemed quite out of place

Delicious pizza and nice service. The food is authentic, freshly prepared and full of flavor. I was particularly impressed by the "Men's Thing" pizza calzone and the perfectly coordinated Naughty Nut as dessert. The service is warm, attentive and contributes to a wonderful atmosphere. The location, which is set up in a beautiful vaulted cellar, has a small disadvantage. When the Aposto is full, and it usually is, it gets pretty loud. Overall, however, the Aposto is highly recommended.

We at EIKONA celebrated our Christmas party at Aposto Schweinfurt and it was simply great! We were treated to an excellent buffet - from the starter to the main course to the dessert, everything was absolutely top. The food was really a highlight and we all loved it. We would particularly like to emphasize the attentive service - the waiters were always friendly and attentive. Overall it was a perfect event. Thank you for this great evening!

You can't go wrong in terms of taste, and it's one of the few bright spots in the province. The furnishings are quite comfortable. The prices are still within reason. I hope for more new openings from the Munich headquarters

I was given an unusual menu that was confusing for me. Wanted to eat pizza. I found some of the ingredients irritating. Pizza with potatoes? Oh well. After a long search I finally found something. Then came the shock! Dough crumbly and dry, pizza greasy, dripping with oil. The worst pizza I've ever tasted in a restaurant. Half an hour later I had to go to the toilet straight away, had brutal diarrhea and needed 3 double shots of herbal schnapps. Never experienced anything like this! Never again! Too bad! I was there once 5 years ago. The pizza was perfect 👍 I was very happy, but then unfortunately I was disappointed today. Very unfortunate. I don't have a pizza oven at home. However, a very good oven. I can do it much, much better myself. Conclusion: I will no longer enter this restaurant. Very unfortunate 😔

Both the food and the service have deteriorated significantly over the years. Addendum: I gave you another chance. Yes, also filed a complaint via email directly to the restaurant owner to report this incident. On November 9th I was served inedible food. Too spicy (wasn't declared spicy on the menu), noodles still raw inside, and I got rashes in my mouth. I still had to pay for the meal in full, even though the plate was still full. The waiter insinuated that I had already eaten half the plate before I complained. I had two spoons until I noticed the spiciness and the unpleasant burning sensation in my mouth. At the first bite I thought the pasta was al dente. When I took the second bite I noticed that they were still very hard on the inside. The waiter was friendly and remained calm, but still forced me to simply order a drink on the house, as they supposedly couldn't help me otherwise. I continued to say no and just wanted to cancel my meal as it was inedible. Yes, he even asked one of my friends if he just wanted my free drink because I didn't want to. Please what? How cheeky can you be? be a guest? After all, it affected my court?! In the end, I simply ordered an iced tea against my will because I just wanted to leave the restaurant because of the poor service. In relation to the price of the food, that was a real disgrace in terms of compensation. My friends were visibly outraged, but I continued to be pressured into paying for the meal, despite the pustles on my tongue from eating. I don't know of any allergies. I immediately wrote a message about this pure disappointment. There has been no reply via email for two weeks. Apparently constructive criticism is unwelcome in this establishment. I will definitely avoid the Aposto in the future. Been a regular customer for 10 years. I would advise everyone to do the same, there are plenty of better Italians in SW who would have canceled your meal without a problem AND still given you a drink on the house as compensation!

Unusual pizzas, sounds good at first. Unfortunately there was a little bit of toppings, the taste was rather standard. Rooms tend to be noisy when the places are back, entrance area could be a little more inviting. Otherwise, the rooms in the vaulted cellar are great.

The food - see picture - was incredibly tasty and also very hot, which we like (as if my mother had made it herself) and not forgetting the great drinks. The restaurant was creatively and lovingly designed with a great feel-good factor. You had a glimpse into the open kitchen, the hard-working chefs and the great service. You can tell I'm still raving...! TOP team! We'll definitely be back!
