At the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026, I visited the Aposto restaurant in Aschaffenburg several times. The service and food were always impeccable – I'm there again today and enjoying the lively atmosphere before my meal – I'm so happy! ❤️

We were always very satisfied, until now. The menu has changed; the vegetarian vegetable bolognese was removed and replaced with a regular one with beef. Other dishes were also missing, even though they were always very good. So we ordered a pizza, one pasta dish, and two lasagnas (one vegetarian and one with ground beef). We ordered the appetizer (pizza rolls) along with our drinks. It took a very long time for them to arrive, and by then we had almost finished our first large drink. At least they were still as good as they used to be. When the main courses arrived, my partner was disappointed with the pasta portion. There was no garnish (lettuce, tomato, or chives) on it. Just penne with Gorgonzola sauce and Parmesan. Very basic. The pizza had very few toppings. In retrospect, it didn't agree with my father. And the two lasagnas arrived hot on the outside but completely cold inside. We sent both back to be reheated. By the time we got them back, the others had finished their pasta and pizza. Apparently, the oven was set incorrectly. In that case, at least a complimentary drink should have been included. The service was very friendly, pleasant, and attentive. However, the bill was too high for the meal. Unfortunately, I couldn't tolerate the spinach lasagna at all. It's a shame that things have changed so much. We always enjoyed coming here, even spontaneously.

It was our first time there, and we were totally satisfied, especially the food was delicious and the service was excellent.

We were at Aposto yesterday afternoon. We only had drinks, so I can't comment on the food. The drinks were good, and the male server was very friendly. Unfortunately, it was very cold in the dining room. There were four of us, and we were all freezing. I asked if the heating could be turned up a bit. The server came with a blanket and said that was all he could do. So I sat down with the blanket. Just before we left, we went to the restroom. The heating there was turned up to 5, but it was freezing cold; it wasn't working. I mentioned this to the female server when we paid. Her only response was, "It was working yesterday." I also told her that it was very cold and we were all freezing. Her only reply was, "Well, it's winter now, and it's cold on the glass." That's a sure way to drive away customers. The four of us even ordered hot drinks, but it didn't help. I definitely won't be going there again in the winter when it's this cold. In the summer, when you don't need the heating, I'll go. It seems like they're cutting costs everywhere. The heating in the dining room was only on between 2 and 3 degrees. Unfortunately, I couldn't reach the lever, otherwise I would have turned it up. I don't know if it would have made any difference. I'm sure we weren't the only ones who were freezing.

We ate there; the pizza gets one star, and the service (Italian staff) was great! My pasta was overcooked, and the price was completely off! We won't be back! Sorry.

A long waiting time is completely unacceptable!!!

The cocktails were practically just ice, and for that, they were far too expensive. The pizza was the same. The cocktails took forever, and it was especially noticeable that they took even longer during happy hour. We constantly had to ask for them. I live in Italy for half the year, and the service and quality there are definitely on a different level and nowhere near as overpriced. It's also impossible to sit here quietly with a group. You're constantly being pressured to order something because otherwise, you won't generate any revenue, and despite having a reservation, you're only given a specific time slot. It's really no fun at all, and we certainly won't be coming back. The size of the appetizers is almost an insult to the value for money. I strongly advise everyone against it because they're simply tiny but incredibly overpriced. It doesn't surprise me that one bar after another in Aschaffenburg is closing down when you offer something like this. I don't HAVE to eat out... I want to... but this is simply unacceptable.

I've always loved coming here; I have wonderful memories of eating with friends and family. Now I've seen that the menu has been completely revamped and almost nothing is the same anymore. It's a shame, it was always my go-to comfort food – I just can't get used to the new menu. I miss my salad :(

We were there for a Christmas party with a large group, and reservations are highly recommended. The number of servers allowed for quick ordering of drinks and food. The food arrived relatively quickly. The servers remained attentive and present throughout the meal. The food was consistently rated very highly by my colleagues; the pizzas are really large. The salads were fresh and offered a variety of ingredients. The baked pasta with beef was truly delicious! The prices are perhaps a bit above average, but that was known beforehand. One less appealing aspect is that with the door open, you have a direct view from the dining area into the men's restroom/urinals. When Aposto is full, it can get quite noisy. I can easily imagine returning to Aposto on a private basis. Parking is best done in one of the nearby parking garages.

The ambiance and service are decent. The food isn't great. The pizza was paper-thin and tasteless; one pizza had more rugola than topping. The pasta and tagliatelle were just okay. Everything was made without any care. In short, we tried it, but we don't need to go back. It's okay for a drink, but not for a meal.

I feel very comfortable every time I, or rather we, eat there. For over six weeks now, we've been going there weekly with several moms and their children. Some restaurant owners aren't too fond of this kind of clientele because of the noise, the many strollers, etc. We've experienced this at other places in Aschaffenburg. But at Aposto, we're always greeted warmly by different staff members. They're incredibly helpful, the food is delicious, and the lunch menu is more than fair in terms of value for money! Keep up the great work! 😊👌

We used to come here often during our lunch break, but unfortunately, we always had to wait ages to be served, even when it wasn't busy. The food then usually took quite a while to arrive, even if we opted for the set lunch menu. So, it's no longer an option for lunch. Things are much better in the evenings. What a shame...

Lunch and the brunch every other Sunday are highly recommended! The brunch, in particular, leaves virtually nothing to be desired, although the service could be a bit quicker in taking drink orders. However, the restaurant was packed, so I can understand why.

I regularly come to the lunch table with a group of moms. We always receive a warm welcome! They help with strollers and arrange tables and chairs as needed, without us even having to ask! The service is incredibly kind and attentive! This has become a rare exception these days! Thank you!

After a year, we returned to Aposto because we were so impressed with our last visit. Unfortunately, we discovered that the menu had recently been completely redesigned. We were particularly disappointed that the dish "Männersache," which was the reason for our visit, was no longer available. Upon inquiring, we learned that it had been replaced by a new version of a calzone, which was supposed to resemble the original dish. From our personal perspective, however, the new dish didn't live up to our expectations. The pulled pork was significantly too spicy, we missed the bacon that was included in the previous version, and the overall flavor of the BBQ sauce was so dominant that other flavors were barely noticeable. This lost the special character of the dish that had so impressed us last time. The service team and the ambiance, however, were, as on our first visit, impeccable and very accommodating. Overall, it's a shame that such a special dish as the original "Männersache" was removed from the menu—it was the main reason for us to visit Aposto again.

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience: I ordered a cocktail, but the wind blew it down and I spilled everything without taking a sip. No new cocktail and I had to pay the full price. Terrible management. The waiter was friendly but still just terrible.

I actually loved this restaurant, but two weeks ago, after dinner, I took the last two pieces that we couldn't finish. Well, later at home, I got a nasty surprise 😢 long black hair in it 🤢 I had to throw them away...

The outdoor terrace is super nice, the seating is really comfortable, and the food is delicious. It's not Michelin-starred, but it's absolutely recommended for a pizza and a good evening with friends. The service was excellent; we were served by a young lady named Xenia. Everything went smoothly. The food came very quickly, and she was extremely accommodating. You could almost say she anticipated our every need. Absolutely recommended!

Something different. The food is very creative and different, but delicious. Ideal for drinks in the evening, especially on Wednesdays when Spritz drinks are only €5!! It's worth it. :)

Starting with the exceptionally beautiful ambience, the excellent food, cocktails and other delicacies that always delight, the greatest strength of the restaurant is the gigantic team that accompanies you through your visit with competence and friendliness and turns it into an unusual experience. I had the pasta Napoli with burrata and was very satisfied. The pasta was al dente, the tomato sauce fresh and aromatic, and the burrata rounded off the dish with a wonderfully creamy finish. A simple but delicious dish – highly recommended! The staff were super friendly and accommodating.

We ordered several pizzas, but they had undercooked chicken toppings. Despite addressing the waitress, she simply gave her a rude nod and left the table.

Ate pizza here. The salami slices were quite thick for a thin pizza. The toppings were generally cut much too large, and it was almost impossible to eat the pizza normally because everything fell onto the plate. The taste wasn't convincing. Waiting an hour for a pizza is crazy. The price/performance ratio was really bad. The salad was soaked with dressing. The service was very friendly and attentive.

We spontaneously had a lovely evening with delicious Aperol and fantastic fresh pasta. The location was simply fantastic. Despite the restaurant being packed, the service was good and everyone was always friendly. The brunch in the winter months is also fantastic. I'm really looking forward to it!

Well, I think that's an absolute disgrace. My wife and I ordered the lunch menu and simply wanted the carbonara without bacon. The waitress then said that it wasn't possible because it was the lunch menu. If I ordered from the menu, they would do it. I then asked if the food was pre-cooked because they couldn't leave out the bacon. They said no. Then I don't understand what the problem is with simply leaving out the bacon. I still pay full price. I mean, I can decide for myself whether I want to eat it or not. What kind of argument is that? Absolutely disgusting. The customer is king. Thumbs up to you. You don't need to complain when bad reviews pour in.

Hey everyone. Time for another 100% honest review! Let's get to the good part: The pizza tastes good; if you like thin crust, this is the place for you. Very crispy. The service is impeccable. Now for the negative part... There's no pizza seasoning for those who like to add chili flakes, for example. The drinks leave a bad impression: the homemade peach iced tea doesn't taste at all like peaches... but unfortunately, it tastes 100% like lemon iced tea. (Maybe the lemon iced tea will taste like peaches, who knows.) According to the person I was there with, the shandy only tastes like lemonade. (It looked way too light for me, too, so there might be something to it.) And finally, I have to say that I find cutting the pizza myself with a fork and knife a bit annoying. My fingers were hurting halfway through. Maybe it would have been better with better knives. But that point wasn't too bad for me. I think that's all I could say. Thanks for reading! Dragon Seimi

Spaghetti Carbonara for lunch was amazing! The lasagna for dinner wasn't my cup of tea, but the beer and drinks were great! Service was excellent, friendly, and welcoming. If you like Italian, you should go there. Thanks, I'll be back soon.

We were actually looking forward to a relaxing evening at Aposto, but were unfortunately disappointed. The staff was extremely pushy from the start – constantly asking if we wanted to order anything else, even though we just wanted to eat and drink in peace. It seemed as if there was internal pressure to generate as much revenue as possible, which we found extremely annoying. The whole thing was so unpleasant that we left the restaurant early and moved on. It's a real shame, because the food and atmosphere are truly top-notch.

Beautiful, modern restaurant with a variety of dishes. A bit limited for vegans, but it's possible. Friendly staff. It's probably very loud inside at full capacity. Overall, though, I'd come back. Drinks are good, and there are always special offers.

If you don't have high expectations for the cocktails, which are mostly made with crushed ice and thus very diluted, as you don't get much of a cocktail, you can have good food and/or standard drinks there. I'd be happy to come back, but I'll skip the cocktails.
