That was nothing! Pulled off the highway on Monday afternoon to grab a bite to eat. A plate for 10€. We were hoping for an Asian buffet, which is usually sufficient and tasty. However, everything seemed like it had been kept warm for hours and the consistency was accordingly. The sauces had a thick skin, a single lady was walking around talking on the phone. It was not possible to order water. That's why you won't see me there again!

Good Asian buffet for €20, Sher is recommended as a rest stop

Not an upper class restaurant - just "quick Asian cuisine" for those looking for a rest on the motorway. A much better choice compared to Burger King. There is a solid buffet selection (all you can eat) with sushi and fresh salads - for families with children a good alternative to the other fast food offerings at rest stops.

Never again I pay Asia Fried Noodles and get spaghetti with very few vegetables, or rather nothing! Very dry, and the meat was so bad!

The BEST highway restaurant I have seen/visited in my life! Sushi, baked bananas, shrimp, homemade tiramisu and so much more! I first went to the dirty Burger King next door, where one person had to wait 10 minutes for his food, where everything was rubbish and where there was an enormous queue. It was over a THOUSAND times better at AO LAI KE!!!🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

The food is OK, but not perfect. A lot of things are dry or overcooked, but others turn out very well. The biggest drawback is the toilet, which has to be paid for, as the restaurant is located in a large rest area. You can't complain about the price, even if the price is very high.

Very good offer, the lunch buffet was really great price-performance ratio. Staff friendly and accommodating.

We ordered from the menu. The portions of the rice and noodle dishes were very big and richly filled with meat. Good value for money.

Totally okay food! Wide range. Nice tablecloths on all tables, clean and everything like that. But the staff hardly want to say hello, preferably not help when we ask questions and not charge when asked. (The woman who worked appeared to be sitting and eating her own dinner with a video on her mobile phone in front of her, at a table next to the cash register) In other words. Totally ok place with top notch service. PS A friendly guy came towards the end of the visit.

Service: * Negative: Self-service, can lead to waiting times when there is a lot of traffic. Price-performance ratio: * Positive: Reasonably priced for the Conclusion: Maya offers delicious food at a good price. However, the service is somewhat limited due to self-service.

Very disappointed The waitress, apart from a young girl, just stands around looking bored. A smile is out of place here; people look at you with annoyance. The food: Yes, it is fried, but that is absolutely not possible. Hardly any dish has its own taste. It all tastes pretty much the same. The fried chicken breading was full of fat and sometimes very soft. The vegetable rolls are only filled with cabbage, the large ones are inedible. The noodles are very oily. The sauces are neither spicy nor tasty, just over-seasoned. I could go on like this, but I'll just leave it alone. So we're out. Very unfortunate

Inexpensive, extensive buffet with many variations.

You can always come back here. The food is always tasty and fresh and warm. Everyone will find something to eat here. Nice service, always helpful. One price for the buffet

Has a large selection at the buffet and it's quite ok...not the best Chinese I know but I would still go there again.

The good food has worn off a bit. Prices have risen enormously. Toilet is at the gas station and costs 50 cents.

We found it interesting there. Just try everything. (Buffet) We were there for about 3 hours. Everything tasted good. We'll definitely do it again.

Were there again yesterday and notice from time to time that it's actually no longer worth going there. Everything tastes the same, meat is too dry, some of the food is cold & whether we will go there again is questionable. The price for this selection is actually ok.

Old, the food was slow, few guests, but all the bowls were still full. Sorting messed up, the vanilla sauce is between the dressings. Station hall, the whole building is already getting old, something should be done about it. I was invited, otherwise I wouldn't have come here.

The food isn't worth the money, it all tastes like the same fat. The duck was undercooked, the chicken was very tough, the vegetables were overcooked and the beef didn't taste like beef. Chinese noodles? But not like that! We found it really inedible and will avoid the place.

Unfortunately we weren't convinced by the offer today. The buffet offers a wide selection. However, the meat was quite tough. The scampis were tasty. The fried champions, on the other hand, were a dream. The staff is typically Asian, reserved but friendly. We will definitely come back here later. However, not until much later...

Hi all! Not a bad place for those who like to eat a lot of delicious food. Unfortunately, the meat is chicken and there is no beef, at least it seemed so to me. Compared to Polish cuisine, this is a masterpiece! 👍

Unfortunately this is no longer Ao Lai Ke!!!It's a shame that it's no longer the owner. Food was so-so. I didn't notice any service. 20.90 euros on Easter Sunday was definitely too expensive! I don't think paying for the toilet yourself is legally allowed! We won't come back. It's a shame that something like this is being run down.

For 19.90 euros per adult it is a farce. Food with no taste, cold or overcooked. Sauces with thick skin on top have probably been there since the morning. The selection is really subterranean. I refrained from eating dessert before I got salmonella poisoning from the ice cream. I'm not demanding but such a cheap meal for so much money is really usury. My recommendation: go next door to Burger King.

Was expecting more. Food is okay and there is a selection. Unfortunately not quite my taste. Restaurant also does not have its own toilet. you have to use it from the rest stop for a fee. Staff walked around in jogging suits.

The meal was okay. We found the price of €19.90 for the evening buffet, without drinks, much too high. However, the price on the Internet was advertised as €16.90. We deduct points for the service. The service was friendly, but no dirty dishes were taken from our table and there was no serving trolley available for us to take away ourselves. Several times a mountain of dishes piled up on our table, even though a waitress was always passing by. It felt very intentional to us. However, the tables where the guests had finished eating were immediately cleared and re-set. Even my son noticed leftover food all over the floor. This is what happened at the buffet. Another point of criticism for us was that there are no toilets in this restaurant. You have to use the paid toilets at the gas station. When we asked about toilets, we weren't told that it was better to take money with us. I think that was our last visit there for now. A pity.

So schlecht habe ich schon lange nicht mehr gegessen: lauwarm, verbrutzelt, matschige Ente statt Knuspervogel, labbrige und kalte Pommes usw. Es fragt niemand, wie es schmeckt und nach Ansprache des Kassierers nach dem Essen gab es zur Kritik keinerlei Reaktion. Für das Mittagsbuffet sind 15Euro pro Person definitiv nicht gerechtfertigt.

I ordered and, after asking several times, waited over an hour for my food, then canceled my order and left.

I took the classic box to go with crispy chicken. 2 days later still stomach pain. The casing was more of a covering. The noodles are basically spaghetti only thin. Absolutely nope from me. The service was relatively dull. Otherwise the ambience was great.

I think it's very tasty here. However, sometimes you have to be lucky if the food is fresh.

The AO LAI KE is a very nice restaurant. The food is delicious and I also really liked the ambience. I would happily recommend it.

We got takeaway there tonight and really regret it. We had duck there once and beef once. Numbers 29 and 32. The duck tasted like it had already expired. Like bad fish. Absolutely inedible! When it came to the beef, we asked ourselves whether it was actually beef or something completely different. In any case, it wasn't good anymore. The shop cannot be recommended and anyone who cares about their food should avoid this shop. ATTENTION !!!!!⚠️ Since then we have not been feeling well and have only eaten one piece each.

We deliberately didn't order the buffet, but rather the menu with my wife. I haven't had such greasy and strange food in a long time. It's now been 6 hours since we ate. My stomach is turning and I still have the strange taste in my mouth...

Alles super,würde Ich immer empfehlen, Preis/Leistungen 8/9, Fehlt nur noch Spielplatz für die Kindern, ansonst Alles in Ordnung!☆☆☆☆

Am Samstag war es zwischen 17:00 und 23 Uhr echt angenehm. Die Lautstärke und Anzahl der Gäste hat mir sehr gefallen doch man muss sagen das buffet war leider nicht so schmackhaft und zu wenig Ausfall .

Bester Pausenplatz auf der Strecke Lübeck Brügge.

das Essen dort ist sehr lecker! Meine Familie und ich gehen dort immer essen wenn wir in den Urlaub fahren. Es ist sehr empfehlenswert!

Essen war sehr lecker. Keinerlei Toilette im Restaurant. Mann muss zur Tankstelle und noch extra bezahlen damit man sie nutzen kann.

Super Essen. Wenn es voll ist etwas laut. Die Mitarbeiter sind nicht ganz so motiviert aber na ja das Essen ist ja auch das wichtigste.

Gutes, reichhaltiges Restaurant mit All-You-Can-Eat Mentalität. Auch für größere Gruppen geeignet. Leckeres, reichhaltiges Büffet; Es gibt aber auch Tellergerichte für 10. €. Bis 17:00 Uhr noch Mittagspreise, danach teurer! Ambiente eher ÖTV -geprägte Kantine.. .;-)

Alles sehr frisch und ziemlich lecker.

Große Auswahl ist auf jedenfall vorhanden, die grundsätzlich auch wohl schmeckt, keine Frage. Insgesamt war der Service aber eher unfreundlich, man wurde schnell abserviert und das wars. Das Essen war teilweise einfach komplett kalt. Wir sind zum Mittagstisch zwar echt spät gegekommen (gegen 15:30). Wenn der Mittagstisch aber so lange angeboten wird sollte er bis dahin aber auch noch warm sein... Vermutlich ist es gegen Mittag frischer/wärmer. Preislich bekommt man aber definitiv viel für sein Geld.

Essen zum Teil ziemlich fad, Nudeln leider komplett geschmacklos. Nicht die höchste Qualität insgesamt, was man bei dem Preis für das Buffet aber auch nicht erwarten darf. Nach Getränken wurde schnell gefragt, diese wurden auch schnell gebracht, jedoch kam kein zweites mal jemand um eine weitere Bestellung aufzunehmen. Zum Hunger stillen reicht es, aber ich gebe das nächste mal wieder mehr aus und verzichte auf Buffet. Extrem viele Tische in dunklem Saal. Keine schöne, oder gemütliche Atmosphäre.

Wir waren am Sonntag mal wieder da und es war grotten schlecht, das Essen hat nicht geschmeckt, es lag schon seit Stunden in den Schalen, die Soßen sahen total unangenehm aus, es hat sich keiner um die Sauberkeit am Buffet gekümmert. Echt schade drum... aber nun gibt es nur noch 2 anstatt 4 Sterne... -----' Wird leider immer teurer und die Qualität des Essens nimmt leider ein wenig ab. Deshalb nur 4 Sterne.

Das Essen wird in Buffetform angeboten. Dadurch ist man recht schnell an der Reihe. 🤩 Dazu ist es auch lecker und gut bekömmlich.

Guter Preis für Buffet soviel man essen kann, 13.50 € . Getränke gehen extra was für den Preis absolut okay ist.

Hat etwas von Schnellimbiss Athmosphäre, aber man kann sich gut Zeit lassen das Buffet mehrfach aufzusuchen. Es gibt Vorspeisen, Viele Gemüse- Fleischfarianten, Nachspeisen. Schmeckt alles vorzüglich. Man kann Plätze auch für kleine Gruppen reservieren. 👍😋

Gutes leckeres Essen zum noch annehmbarer Preis

Das Essen war nicht frisch gewesen war noch von Mittagasbuffet aufgewärmt gewesen, wir waren ca gegen 17:30 Uhr dort. Im Buffet ist sehr wenig Auswahl.

Ein günstiges Abendbuffet wo jeder geschmacklich etwas finden sollte. Meinem Mann und mir hat es geschmeckt. Einziger Makel auch für uns, dass die Toilette draußen im Gang vom Rastplatz ist.

Food is tasty but somewhat sad reheated prefab. The saucebased dishes were "dry" from having been hours in trays. The sushi was TERRIBLE! 😐 On the plus side. They give discount to Gastric surgery patients 💪 There was big buffet. Best dish was the coconut chicken.

Perfect food. Great price. Visited two times on our trip trough Europe. Im considering driving to this restaurant next summer only to enjoy the perfect meal one more time.

Wir verserstehen die Bewertung nicht ? was wollen Sie noch große Auswahl ,sehr heiße Speisen und geschmacklich bestens nicht nur unsere Familie wahr da auch Bekannte und Freunde und keiner hat etwas negatives gesagt.

Hier wird null auf die Coronaregeln geachtet...und das bei Buffet... Für uns ein Grund zu gehen! Eine Servicekraft hatte ein Vollvisier auf. Köche, Tischanräumer und auch 2 Tische mit je 5 bis 8 Personen hatten beim Gang zum Buffet keine Maske auf. Niemand hat die Gäste auf die Pflicht des Maskentragens hingewiesen...erst als wir etwas sauer reagiert haben und wir darauf hingewiesen haben musste man ja was sagen. Wir haben das Restaurant aufgrund dessen vorzeitig verlassen... Unfassbar wie dort mit der Gesundheit anderer gepielt wird..um Geld zu verdienen.

Wir waren zu zweit hier. Die Qualität des Essens ist absolut mangelhaft, verglichen mit anderen China-Restaurants mit diesem Konzept. So gab es: festgebackenen Reis und der Warmhalteschale, labbrige Pommes, die schon lange im Buffet gelegen haben müssen. Für Vegetarier ist dieses Restaurant schlichtweg ungeeignet. Alle Angebote, außer je eine Portion Reis und Nudeln mit Gemüse sind nicht vegetarisch. Auf Nachfrage versicherte man uns, die Frühlingsrollen seien alle vegetarisch, was sich als falsch erwies. Wir würden künftig lieber eines der Restaurants im nahegelegenen Lohne aufsuchen.
