The food was delicious and the service was great too. However, you start to smell like a barbecue if you sit inside for a long time, and the prices are high.

Had lunch with two friends at friends' house. We were warmly welcomed and invited to sit down. A wonderful selection of appetizers was brought to us, along with two bowls of soup and a fresh salad for me. Bread and water were placed on the table, and then the main course arrived—what a delight for the taste buds! So incredibly delicious 😋… thank you so much 😊 and for the Turkish tea to finish 🥰 I'd love to come again anytime, see you soon ☺️👍🏼

I'd give it 10 points if I could!!! Once you enter the restaurant, you feel like you're in Turkey. While visiting Germany, I found this place to satisfy my hunger with affordable, home-cooked meals, kebabs, and amazing döner (Turkish doner kebab). I definitely recommend it 👍🏼

We ordered two veal doner kebabs but only received chicken doner kebabs. We still paid extra for the veal. A complete rip-off!!! My wife is still traumatized by it. The doner kebabs were still tasty, but it was a total rip-off!!!

We only ordered Adana dürüm and waited 70 minutes. Others arrived after us and received their food before us. A hefty price for an Adana dürüm in Germany, considering it only contains one Adana dürüm. The food tasted okay, but nothing special. Still worth a visit.

We dined here on November 23, 2025, with a party of seven. Each of us ordered a different main course, and I also had an appetizer. Unfortunately, the service was very disorganized. We had to wait a long time before anyone even took our order. When the waiter finally arrived, we immediately ordered drinks and food. The drinks arrived quickly, but the food service was very inconsistent. My appetizer wasn't served until the main course was over, two people received their food earlier, and the rest had to wait considerably longer. Throughout our entire visit, it took a very long time for a server to come to our table if we wanted to order anything else. I also had to wait a long time to pay and ended up going to the cashier myself. And the restaurant was only half full. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and communicative. However, the overall service seemed unfocused and not really paying attention. The main courses were very tasty, and the portions were ample. A wider selection of desserts would have been desirable, preferably with less sweet options. Conclusion: The food was excellent, but the service clearly needs improvement. It's a shame, because with better organization the visit would have been a complete success.

Hi, this was my first time eating here. I didn't realize it was a restaurant until too late and ordered at the front. But that wasn't a problem. I had a doner kebab plate with ezme, and it was good. I really enjoyed the ezme. Personally, I found the waiter a bit inattentive, but that's just a matter of taste. I'll definitely go back again.

I went to the restaurant alone, where only three tables were occupied. I waited eight minutes and then took the menu myself. I didn't like the food; the meat was full of fat. I couldn't eat it. Then I wanted to order künefe, and it wasn't until another 17 minutes had passed that a waiter came to my table. The künefe was good, but there wasn't enough syrup, so it was a bit of a mess. I will definitely never come here again.

The service was terrible. We had to wait ages before anyone even came to our table, and only after shouting out was our order taken. Shortly after, we were told that the dish we wanted wasn't available and we should choose something else. For me, the worst thing in a restaurant is ordering something that's on the menu and then finding out it's unavailable – I wanted to leave immediately. When the food finally arrived, they served the very dish that was supposedly unavailable – it was utter chaos. Communication within the team seemed abysmal, the staff were unfriendly and never smiled. The food was only mediocre. We definitely won't be returning.

My Turkish PhD friend brought his entire team here for dinner after his defense. The appetizers, drinks, flatbreads, and grilled meats were all very good, and the ingredients were very fresh. I highly recommend it.

I traveled 13 km from Antep and there was an uninterested man, I asked for beans and rice, the meat they put in it is not eaten by dogs, there was a strong smell in the rice and I left without eating it. I paid 10 Euros and there is no parking space, it is a disgrace.

I went last night to grab a doner and ordered the meat doner. What came to me was mostly lettuce and tomatoes, with a bit of meat hidden in the salad. Because there were customers, I didn't say anything. When I went to pay, I asked the cashier for the bill. He said, "9 euros." "You only put salad and some meat in it." Food The food deserves special mention: The dishes were very good—tasty, freshly prepared, and visually appealing. --- Overall Conclusion Food: 4 / 5 – really delicious and well presented Service & Waiting Time: 2 / 5 – impatient, unfriendly, long waits Child-Friendliness: 1 / 5 – only child seats, no other family-oriented offerings Recommendation: If you value excellent food above all else and are less concerned with prompt service or children's entertainment, a visit could be worthwhile. However, the restaurant is not ideal for families with younger children. I think there's live music here on weekends, and at least there's a stage here, so it's definitely worth a visit. And you can most likely rent the room for parties, especially since you can slide the glass doors, for example, for private parties.

Disappointing and simply annoying – never again There were six of us – three adults, three children – and of course we needed some space. Nevertheless, we were initially seated at a table that was far too small, and it was clear from the start that it wouldn't fit. The restaurant was completely empty, but only after asking were we allowed to move to a larger table. Why not do it like that? I ordered a gratinated doner kebab – the "meat" was completely streaked with fat and covered in gristle. Truly inedible. I immediately mentioned it, but the waiter simply said, "I'll pass it on to the kitchen." That was it. No apology, no reaction – nothing. As if nobody cared. The conversation continued with the drinks: I wanted – as offered on the menu – an Efes 0.5l Pilsner. The answer was: "Unfortunately, we don't have that." So I suggested simply pouring a regular Pilsner into a 0.5l glass – but even that, for some inexplicable reason, didn't work. Instead, I was offered two 0.3-liter bottles – and of course, they were billed individually. The bottom line: I paid significantly more for 0.6 liters than a 0.5-liter bottle would have cost. Several euros more for 0.1 liters – you really wonder if that was intentional. We came all the way from Pforzheim – and then this happened. Lousy food, no sense of service, zero consideration. You certainly won't be coming back there again – and I can't recommend the place either. You can't run a restaurant like that – a clear message: If a guest is sitting with you and the meat on their plate is over 70 percent fat and gristle – then we're not talking about taste, but about quality, which is simply not right. This shouldn't come from the kitchen. And if it does, the service team must respond, immediately and clearly. A simple "I'll pass it on to the kitchen" is not an answer – it's evasion. The guest must feel taken seriously. Period. Then there's the topic of drinks: If a 0.5-liter pilsner is on the menu and not available, why isn't a professional alternative offered? Why does the guest have to make their own suggestions? And if two 0.3-liter bottles are poured, which are then also more expensive than the original 0.5-liter, then it no longer feels like an oversight, but rather like a charge. That's not service—that's customer-unfriendly. And the thing with the table—six people, including three children, and they're seated at a table that's too small even though the place is empty? That makes me wonder: Where is the thoughtfulness? Where is the sensitivity for guests? A restaurant doesn't just thrive on menus and plates, but on attitude, honesty, and hospitality. And I didn't sense any of that here. If you want guests to come back, you have to act accordingly. Anything else is shortsighted.

This restaurant doesn't deserve a star. I'm so sorry, but there were hairs in my salad and my yufka. Not only mine but my mother's had grains of sand in it, and my wife's meat wasn't cooked through. When I complained, I didn't even get the food cheaper or for free, just a dry "apology." Even though the food is generally very expensive, and despite the restaurant being empty, the food arrived late and sometimes cold, they still demand decent food. There were also wasps everywhere (sure, that's not what you get, but my children were scared and could hardly eat). So, this restaurant is a flop. I'm only giving the star to the staff because they were friendly.

I had kellepaça soup and pita bread here. I didn't like the soup; it had a lot of cartilage and bone fragments. The pita bread was okay, but there were too many vegetables and a little less meat. Because of the abundance of vegetables, I couldn't taste either the bread or the meat. The waiters are really good, and they'll make your request right away. I'm not saying I won't go back, I will. But it fell a little short of my expectations. So, the location is nice, the atmosphere is nice, the only thing they need to do is make the food a little more flavorful.

A very good Turkish restaurant with an extensive menu. The Aperol Spritz is especially recommended! For those who want to admire the mating calls of testosterone-fueled AMG lease owners at Europlatz, the outdoor area is the place to be. Otherwise, you can also dine inside in a very relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended!

I live in Phoenix, AZ and came to Karlsruhe for a monthslong visit. We don’t have many (any) Turkish restaurants where I live so naturally, I started trying out various Turkish restaurants. Antep Sofrasi is the best one I found within the city center (accessible by public transport from the university I am visiting-KIT). Doner is very good but they specifically excel at Adana and mixed grill. Lahmacun is also one if the best I found. I have dined here 3 times already. I didn’t try any desserts (yet). Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant.

It's a shame that alcohol is sold here. Some shops in Karlsruhe have a sign outside the door that specifically says "no alcoholic beverages." Unfortunately, the opposite is true here. Alcohol is served, and it looks like there will be live music in the evening. They should focus more on the food. Since alcoholic beverages are served here, we unfortunately won't be eating here anymore. If they changed the concept and stopped serving alcoholic beverages, word would get around, and many more customers/guests would come.

Unfortunately, the food was bad, and the service was full of excuses. I once bought a kebab, which was worse than any other in town and more expensive. My stomach didn't feel good afterward either. I once saw what the kitchen looked like... better never go there. The place is also known for its many deleted bad reviews (unfortunately, I found out about them too late). So better never go there again.

Unfortunately, the service was below expectations. We asked for a shepherd's salad to go with the grill. It came German style. We asked for a Turkish coffee with medium sugar. It came unsweetened. We asked for another one. We were not even bothered and left.

I decided to put my complaints in writing. Taking the order was very laborious. There were about three employees behind the counter, and there were no other customers besides us. Even so, it took about 10 minutes. The food was then prepared quickly. The taste was no better than average. We wanted to pay for two cans of Coca-Cola with a card, but they said each one would cost 7 euros. I thought they were crazy. A different system will soon be introduced, and then all good things will come to an end for these corrupt little restaurants. Loan sharks who extract their extra costs from their customers. But if there is no more cash in Europe, this restaurant can flush its expensive colas down the toilet because the cola is growing moldy on the shelves.

We went on Saturday at 18:00, right at dinner time. Meatballs: none left, minced meat pita: none left, stew: I don't know how long it will take, it's very crowded (you can see from the picture how crowded it is?!?!) Luckily they had Adana wrap, but the portion is quite small, partly it's just lavash. Uludağ soda comes in a glass, they open a 1.5 liter bottle and put it in a glass and bring it, it's not closed. If no one wants it for 2 days, they bring stale sugary water like drinks. Somehow they were taking plates of meatballs to others when we went. The prices are also quite expensive, 1 glass of stale soda is 3.4 euros. They brought a new one(?) but it still tasted different. I won't go again. I ordered a doner pizza 🍕. It cost €12.50, a bit pricey, but it didn't taste bad. The chicken was a bit strange. That evening, I had stomach problems and, unfortunately, diarrhea, as I hadn't eaten anything else before, so I'm sure it was the chicken on the pizza.

I hadn't had the same taste when I came here a few times before, I guess I didn't order the right things, but on my last visit we tried the lahmacun and Adana. It was good. The appetizers were a bit weak, but when you think about it as a whole, I don't think there is a better Turkish restaurant in Karlsruhe.

After a big meal, according to Turkish tradition, tea is given away at the end. If you don't give it away, it might cost €0.50 or €1, but not €3 per glass. The three of us ended up paying €9 for Turkish tea, which is a shame!

We had the opportunity to visit today. The presentation of the food and the politeness of the waiters were really good. The beans and Iskender we ordered were great, the flavors were perfect. However, there was almost no meat in the kelle paça soup. Please note that if the content of the soup is not sufficient, I would prefer it not be served. However, overall the atmosphere was very pleasant, especially Iskender was really delicious.

The food quality is good, the staffs are very friendly and helpful . The döner kebabs and tellers are good portions and well cooked. The adana kebab was tasty and tasted great. The kuftah was also another great option on the menu. Overall a great place for good quality Turkish kebabs.

The restaurant offers a wide selection of freshly prepared dishes in a pleasant atmosphere. It was my first visit and I was impressed by the variety of dishes. The prices are reasonable and the staff is extremely friendly. Another plus point is the paid parking directly in front of the door. Only the toilet check could be done more often, then the experience would be perfect all around.

It's a very nice restaurant. The food tastes very good. Only the restrooms aren't clean. There was toilet paper on the floor, and the floor was dirty, as were the restrooms. I think the restrooms should be kept just as clean as the dining area. Otherwise, the food here is very good.

Definitely my last visit. Tables were supposedly reserved, but everything was free. I find the disrespect, as someone who liked to stop by and really on every visit to Karlsruhe, which was a place where I enjoyed eating, really very outrageous. Because at the entrance (tables opposite the bar) the wind is simply very strong The noises from the kitchen are also very loud and this is annoying, and the last time we were there was a few months ago - we didn't know at first that you had to make a reservation in order to sit at the back. Were immediately assigned to the “cheap places”. We were then able to watch as all the guests after us were suddenly allowed to go to the back when the seats in front of the counter became full. We mentioned this several times to 3 different waiters that we were dissatisfied and noticed how many of them were simply given a seat. JUST IGNORED. The food: Unfortunately not like before, the meat on the skewer was clearly tasteless and cold. The order for some bread was also forgotten after reminding twice. Portions were also minimized, you could clearly see where everything was saved. The tables in the back area were free throughout the entire stay and even when we left, ridiculous. Of course the lady who ordered the waiters around and sent every other guest away hid from us so that she didn't have to deal with a complaint. Definitely my last visit. Also that of my family.

Delicious daily meal at good value for money with authentic Turkish cuisine. High quality Ayran in traditional copper cups. Dürüm too hard - I recommend kebab, pide or one of the stews. The pumpkin dessert was old and dried out. About 7 months ago the service was normal. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. Waiters change all the time. The waiter on our last visit could barely speak German. Because he recorded something wrong, we had to pay for his mistake. Mistakes can happen, but then you don't make customers pay for them. The service is therefore a flop.

So many mistakes happened today even though we only wanted two soups as starters and two dürüm as main courses; Very classic without any special requests. No rush, nothing, the store was almost completely empty! - a soup was forgotten - the second was wrong - Soups and the dürüm kebab suddenly arrived together. I then politely asked the waiter to take the main courses away so that they could be kept warm. When we got our Dürüm kebab I really thought I was crazy, the xl Dürüm was simply loaded with BULGU RICE!!! The thing was maximally disgusting and absolutely no dure. How can you sell something like that???? What I mean by an XL Dürüm is something different. Because of my false politeness, I ate half of the Dürüm with what felt like 7 kilos of bulger and only 150 g of doner meat. I still feel sick about it... NEVER AGAIN!!!

Basically beautiful and tasty. But the vegetarian dishes are too expensive. I had the veggie plate. That was creek salad, some falafel, some cheese and lots of fries for €13.50. I missed the vegetables and love for the dish and the price is too high, even compared to the other dishes. Otherwise it was tasty and the atmosphere is good too.

The meat is so deliciously seasoned and is so juicy, plus a modern atmosphere!
