ANI House in Bremen

Without a doubt, my favorite restaurant since it opened! 😍 When organic vegetables (curries, bowls, summer rolls, etc.) are served in authentic Vietnamese dishes with sushi (from the Japanese restaurant next door) made with the highest quality fish in unbeatable creations, the only question is: How much of this delicious food can we manage today? ;-) At least twice a week is a must for me. Warning: Highly addictive! ;-)

The quality of the food has declined. Especially for the price..two years ago the food was very good. Now it's just alright. The prices are much higher than other Vietnamese places and the portions are smaller

A very good selection of Vietnamese cuisine. Perhaps some dishes were a little bland, but I found the quality of the food to be excellent. There are various meat and vegan options for each type of dish.

The food was delicious, and the lemongrass lemonade was particularly good. Unfortunately, there wasn't a good place to leave your jackets at the table; you had to use a coat rack that was rather close to another table.

A small cup of lemon ginger tea for €4.50 and a bowl of soup for €15.00. That's too expensive for me personally. But it tastes good!

A lovely restaurant with a great selection of vegan dishes! From bao burgers and pho to curries, bun bowls, salads, and hot pot, they have it all! For starters, we had veggie gyoza, which were more chewy than crisp, but the flavor, combined with the sauce, was fantastic, and at €6, the price was really good! We also had spring rolls for €5.50 with glass noodles and vegetables, as well as tofu – they were also delicious, and strangely enough, I don't think I've ever had spring rolls with tofu before. Homemade, crispy, and very tasty. For my main course, I had the curry with very tasty baked tofu and crisp vegetables. The service could have checked on our drinks more often, as we were sitting there without any at one point, but otherwise, it was really good. The restaurant also has a raised area with low tables where you have to take your shoes off and essentially sit on the floor. There's also a play area right there. Perfect for parents with kids!! Definitely a recommended location in Bremen :)

We are absolutely thrilled with Ani Haus in Bremen. We've eaten there several times now, and every time it's been fantastic. From the pho soup to the ramen to the duck breast curry, everything is perfectly fresh, delicious, and always beautifully presented. The drinks also complement the food perfectly. The service is fast, attentive, and very friendly; you feel completely at home. For us, it's one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Bremen, and we're happy to return.

Positives: + Nice ambiance + Mostly polite staff + Very tasty starters and main courses (vegan spring rolls & hot pot with fish and meat) Negatives: - Starter was initially forgotten (arrived after asking for the main course) - Sauces for the hot pot were forgotten - Dessert was forgotten (arrived 20 minutes later after asking for it) - Dessert contained lumps that were still doughy

A fantastic place with exquisite food and extremely friendly service. Every visit is a pleasure. A very pleasant atmosphere and a great addition to dates and all other occasions. The Bun La Lot dish is unique and highly recommended. The dressing creates a wonderful harmony between all the ingredients, and the Bun La Lot are unforgettable. After I wasn't entirely convinced one day in the spring, everything was topped off again today. This makes me want to come back more often. 💪💪💪

Everything's great. It's a shame it's a bit expensive for the quantities.

I can't really understand the very good reviews; our visit was rather mediocre, but unfortunately, that's often the case in Bremen. First, the good stuff. The homemade lemonade was excellent. The Vietnamese coffee too. The summer rolls were quite good. And the bowl was okay. Kim chi was also okay. I know it's different in the original Korean dish, even with different styles, but maybe that's the Vietnamese style. The shrimp in the curry were a bit dry and a bit overcooked, but still edible (more on the curry later). The rest was rather mediocre. The service is quite unfriendly (but not uncommon in Bremen). There was a misunderstanding over one of the drinks, even though everyone at the table understood what was ordered. When we complained, the situation became quite awkward, although it's usually not a big deal to point out a mistake in such a situation. The curry was very bland. When ordering, I even mentioned that, if possible, they could be more liberal with lemongrass, etc., as it's often used in homeopathic amounts in many regions in Germany. But what arrived was simply completely flavorless. Also, some of the food there is VERY "Germanized" or even "Bremerized." The curry was actually more tasteless than what you'd get at the average Asian fusion fast food restaurant in any mall. The third person with us also ordered a Bao Burger and specifically asked in German and English (since they didn't understand German) not to put any spicy mayonnaise on the burger, as this person can't tolerate spicy food. Since the mayonnaise was only put on the patty at the end, it was actually better to just leave it out. However, the mayonnaise was put on it anyway. Complaining again was slow but unpleasant, considering the previous reaction, so only the crust was eaten and the rest was left. The concept of having two different restaurants next to each other and being able to order from both in one part is theoretically fine. But when both are only accessible through a single entrance for customers and staff, it can get uncomfortably cramped in some situations. You have to like the small chairs without backrests; they're not my cup of tea. The coat rack is directly behind a table. Hanging coats there without disturbing the table next to them while eating is almost impossible. When paying (which is only possible at the front counter), no one knew which bill was ours. There are no table numbers on the tables to indicate them there either. So we had to explain which table was ours based on the table layout. That just comes across as extremely amateurish, sorry. I hate writing negative reviews, but this simply wasn't a good restaurant experience. One more point that applies to many restaurants: Unfortunately, it's not uncommon in Germany for dogs to be allowed. In itself, this is unhygienic and makes for a difficult evening for people with allergies, or even worse, depending on the severity of the allergy. You also don't want to take medication every time, as it can sometimes have unpleasant side effects. Since I'm not used to this from other countries, it's simply incomprehensible to me personally. However, I won't deduct points for this point, as, as I said, this is normal in many regions in Germany, for whatever reason. They could at least have special areas for people with pets? Just a bit separated, so everyone is happy. (The dog was right in the middle of the room we were in, and practically everything was already taken, so finding an alternative table was pretty much hopeless and pointless.) And no, I'm not a "dog hater." In general, I really like animals and pets and I'd begrudge everyone that, just not in a restaurant with the completely ill-conceived "I don't give a shit" approach we have here.

It was cozy and the atmosphere was just great.

The food is very good, but the online ordering website needs urgent improvement. It often just doesn't work at all. I just got a message saying that an item is out of stock, but I didn't know which one. After a lot of trial and error, during which we removed each item individually, we'll be ordering from somewhere else, since we were never able to order. Edit: I'm only giving it one star. It's unacceptable that you order for a specific time and still have to wait long after that time. We definitely won't order from there again. This time the food was pretty bad, too. We ordered the beef medium-rare, and it was cooked through and incredibly tough.

I love the food and would eat at your place so much more often if the portions weren't so small. Unfortunately, I haven't been completely full on a few occasions, and my friends feel the same way. Maybe you can change that. :)

I went to ANI house for lunch. We had nice weather and sat outside on their terrace. As the restaurant is located on a larger road, it was rather noisy. The service was attentive and quick. The food (I ordered a curry) was tasty, but not really hot and rather a small portion. So I will try other vietnamese restaurants first, before coming back to ANI house.

The prices are far too high, and the portions are too small. We ordered grilled vegetables. They didn't taste fresh. For my main course, I had sushi with flamed salmon. It tasted so-so. I wouldn't recommend it. My husband had a salmon burger with fries. There was really very little on the plate. Oh yeah, the Ani House Spritz didn't taste fizzy at all.

Yesterday, I ordered the Curry Carrage via Lieferando. It came with extra vegetables, tofu, and meat, as well as a bowl. The price was over €50. The extra vegetables, although rather crude (mainly pumpkin), were still okay. For the additional charge of almost €15, I was given three extra cubes of tofu and two cups of rice without chicken. I've rarely eaten food this expensive and so bad. I used to think of Any House as a good place.

As promised, here is my review: I ordered a fish ramen and was unfortunately a bit disappointed. The quality of the food was okay, but not outstanding. I was also struck by the rude behavior of the server. Her tone of voice was anything but inviting or customer-friendly. When I mentioned that I would be writing a review, her tone surprisingly changed. I explore many restaurants, and today's experience was unfortunately not a positive one. I recommend you see for yourself. I would like to ask this restaurant whether it is interested in treating and caring for its customers in a down-to-earth and objective manner?

A very nice and puristic Vietnamese restaurant where you can eat very nice traditional dishes such as the delicious Pho. The staff is very friendly, helpful and quick. If you have any questions, you will get good answers here. The only drawback is that you don't get traditional spiciness here.

The hamburger rolls look like they still need to be baked, but that's not the case.... on the contrary, they are homemade and therefore very tasty, and the feeling of fullness lasts significantly longer than with Mac-somewhere ;-) 😉 Curry with grilled duck breast in a slightly spicy sauce. Also very tasty and plentiful for the German palate 👍👍👍👍👍 Brand new and right next door there is now Ani House Sushi 🍣

We like to eat there every now and then during our lunch break and are always very satisfied. The food is always fresh and tasty, and the preparation is quick. This means it will always be a delicious and relaxing break.

We enjoyed the food very much. Was plentiful and the price was right: No go: We ordered 2 glasses of red wine without looking at the price and We were amazed when we saw the area. The red wine, a Primitivo, cost €9 per glass (0.2). When I objected to the innkeeper that "that" was expensive, he replied kindly that it was "organic" wine. Well...

Gestern Abend hat der Besitzer des Ani House auf dem Theaterschiff einen älteren Mann ,der sich versehentlich an einen reservierten Tisch gesetzt hat, laut schimpfend nach draußen geschoben, weil er nicht sofort reagiert hat. Ich habe noch nie gesehen das ein Gast so ruppig behandelt wurde. Diplomatie gleich null. Handgreiflich werden ist ausserdem ein no go für jeden. Gaaanz schlimm

Definitely, delicious Asian cuisine

A good selection of different dishes. For example, someone who has no particular interest in Asian cuisine can find something good with the burgers. Of course, the traditional dishes are the ones that are really fun.

The Bao Bun Burger was sensational. Only the chairs are a bit uncomfortable…

Aus einer umfangreichen und noch überschaubaren Karte haben alle etwas gefunden. Die Qualität und Darreichung der Speisen war sehr gut, ebenso die Bedienung und Beratung. Preis- Leistung passt in meinen Augen hier sehr gut zusammen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The menu is freshly prepared and tastes very, very tasty. 😋😋 The chef does it really well.👌 Service is young and friendly, they speak perfect German. 👌 My menu was steamed fish/crab dumplings (5 pieces in hot mayo-warm), warm dish with duck slices medium with vegetables in curry coconut milk sauce, slightly spicy and with mineral water medium. I can only recommend it! 👌👌 Please keep it up!

I ate at ANI House for the first time today. I had the curry with tofu. A standard dish that tasted anything but standard. It was super delicious. Only slightly spicy, so that the other spices and the flavor of the fresh, crunchy vegetables came into their own. The service was very friendly, attentive and unobtrusive. The map is bilingual, clear and attractively designed. The selection of food and drinks leaves nothing to be desired (for me). The atmosphere is modern, simply cozy. There was a seating area in the entrance area with toys and children's books, so I could imagine eating there with children too. I can definitely recommend ANI House!

Today I was in this restaurant for the third time with my son (9 years old) and my husband.. Since the food is prepared from fresh ingredients, it always takes a little longer for the food to arrive. So we brought a little game with us to pass the time. After eating we realized that part of the game was suddenly no longer there. It doesn't have a lot of material value, but it has a lot of emotional value for my son. The problem: when we asked to see whether the missing part had been accidentally taken while clearing away, this was immediately denied without checking again. They obviously didn't care at all. But the crowning glory of it all was how I was treated when, after our return, I asked again in a friendly manner by phone whether they could please inform me if the part was found the next day. A woman cut me off and told me to leave her alone and then hung up. I will definitely not go to this restaurant again because of this behavior from the staff and I'm just glad that I didn't lose anything materially valuable like my wallet.

I ordered a curry with duck breast. The meat was stored or thawed in the meantime. It had an unpleasant, pungent taste. The miso soup didn't even fill the bowl halfway, which is remarkable for 6 euros. Regarding your answer: Cooking fresh doesn't make bad meat any better.

Nett freundlich Essen war gut aber überschaubar für ein Hauptgericht.... Bedienung etwas amateurmässig...gelernt ist anders aber immer freundlich und nett dabei. Somit ok aber ich finde kein Highlight.....

We cannot rate the service and ambience because we received the food by delivery. Unfortunately the food was no longer warm when we arrived. Among other things, we had the Buddha Bowl, which contained a black, rotten avocado. And we were very irritated by the color and consistency of the banana cake. Although it tasted very sweet, it didn't taste like banana and it was fleshy red on the inside. We had the dessert once before and it looked completely different. Addendum: We were here again and this time we had a very good experience. Friendly service, good value for money. The Gyoza Veggie and the sesame balls are particularly recommended. Accordingly, I would like to update my rating.

Very tasty food and nice serevers

Very polite, friendly and cute staff, cozy atmosphere, and delicious food at a good price. I am a vegetarian from India. Usually I don't prefer eating out here because whenever i do, i am always dissatisfied with the taste. But I am super happy to visit Ani house because there were many flavourful vegetarian dishes in the menu. Highly recommend. To Ani house: Great work guys!! Thanks :) Will surely visit again.

Uncomfortable seating, drafty and cold room climate, beautiful dishes and attractive design of the food, disinterested staff, chaotic service at the table and a menu that is difficult to read. In an average diner it's much nicer.

I was there for the first time yesterday and am trying to make a reservation again for the weekend... because it was super super super delicious.🥰 I've rarely had such a delicious curry💯 I hope I can get another table because I was told that it would be here is always almost fully booked. I think that speaks for itself!!! Yesterday alone, Monday evening, it was really full. Very nice atmosphere, nice crowd and the wine is organic. So delicious🍷

Unfortunately there were some communication difficulties with the service yesterday. The food was okay, very little seasoning and the portion sizes did not correspond to the advertised prices for me. If you like the food mild, this is definitely a good place for you, but unfortunately for me it wasn't a restaurant that I would visit again.

Pure average, small portion sizes (curry) and the ramen soup wasn't that good. Have had much better curry and ramen at other places and wouldn't necessarily recommend eating here.

Today we tried the Ani House. We were there shortly after opening. We got a place straight away. The service was super friendly. The food and drinks came super quickly. The food tasted very good. It was very nicely presented. The curry was slightly spicy, well rounded, the vegetables were crunchy and the duck was tender. The burger was an interesting variation, but it was too sweet for me. Ultimately also very tasty with a little hot sauce. The price-performance ratio is good. However, you shouldn't expect huge portions. I could have eaten more. The “Homemade” lemonades are a bit watery. We were still very satisfied

Wonderfully fresh food for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. For us the line runs right through the family. It's rare that everyone is happy after a visit to a restaurant, but that was the case here. There's something about enjoying dinner together in the setting sun on the ship's terrace of the Ani Restaurant with a view over the Weser! Absolute recommendation and a big “keep it up”!

The ramen was very bad. The vegetables consisted of cabbage and corn. Little noodles and no good broth. The tofu was completely unprocessed, neither seasoned nor fried. That's just far too little for €13. There was also a three-quarter full small cup of tea for €4.50. This was delicious in itself, but the price was very unjustified. Unfortunately I can't recommend the store, it's a shame...

It was very tasty, the service staff was friendly. I love the burgers and the mochi ice cream. I think you should have been here at least once. You can sit and chat for a long time or just eat a quick ramen and leave. If there is a lot going on, you should take your time.

We had dinner here today. The restaurant is really great and comfortably furnished, you feel very comfortable. The service was very good, the people were friendly and accommodating with a smile on their faces! About the food: Both the starter and the main course were very tasty. I had the vegan miso ramen (with a lava egg) and I thought €12 was more than fair for this large portion. Everything tasted really fresh. We also really enjoyed the lemonades and can only recommend them. If I lived nearby, I would definitely stop by more often!

It's very tasty and the food is served quickly

Employees very unfriendly and not service-oriented. Today I specifically ordered online at 6:00 p.m. because I was expecting visitors at 6:00 p.m. When the food was delivered at 5:26 p.m., I immediately called Ani House. Since it's obviously getting cold now and the dishes aren't exactly cheap, I asked for a partial refund. The gentleman on the phone thought this was ridiculous and just wanted to invite me for dessert the next time I ordered. After I explained to him that I simply wouldn't order here again, he told me he didn't care if he had 30 or 29 orders a day. The overall tone was very condescending. If he had simply told me that he was sorry but there was nothing he could do, I would have accepted it that way. Mistakes just happen sometimes. Of course, my tip, which I paid in advance for no reason, is also gone.

Beautiful restaurant on a ship on the banks of the Weser. Very tasty food, freshly prepared and very friendly staff. We will visit again on our next visit to Bremen.

Today my girlfriend and I went to this restaurant to eat ramen. A cooked fly came out of my food, so that means the kitchen isn't clean. And who knows how many people used the water from this meal for their meals. A complete disgrace. It's unbelievable that something like this can happen in such a famous restaurant. In response to the answer written to me, I would like to add the following. I ate at the restaurant and THIS FLY WAS COOKED IN THE FOOD WATER. This has nothing to do with the restaurant garden. This is entirely a question of the hygiene of your kitchen. And of course I won't pay the bill in such a case, you can't offer me that as a favor. This is so disrespectful. Please speak to your customers with more respect.

Unfortunately, I didn't like the vegan miso ramen at all. Very tasteless and few vegetables. The starters were okay. However, the main courses were served when we hadn't finished the starters and then the plates were left standing or asked again if everything was good. There was also no soup spoon with the ramen. The edamame were delicious - otherwise I can't recommend it.

I heard about this Vietnamese restaurant and of course I went there for lunch. It was very delicious. Like in Vietnam where I have eaten many times. Of course the pho soup with beef. And the right beer to go with it. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

This is a cool place. It was crowded on Tuesday evening so obviously a popular spot for locals. The staff are very friendly, professional, and fast. I had edamame 🫛 and chicken pho. Both very tasty. The only issue is that the chicken pho had only traces of chicken and the edamame for €5.50 was only a small plate. I could be spoiled but for what you get this is overpriced. Still 5 stars.

I ordered a Bau burger and it was so good. The duck meat was so tender and delicious. Definitely recommend.

It's best to book a table in advance, as it is full at peak times. Very tasty pan-Asian food, fresh ingredients. You can squat low or sit on chairs.
