Was there yesterday .... The ambiance in the restaurant was pleasant it has a nice asian vibe, but the service was incredibly underwhelming. The waiter approached our table multiple times, pressuring us to order even though we clearly stated we needed more time (restaurant was half full at this moment). His demeanor was unfriendly and made us feel rushed. The food was also a letdown. The shrimp tempura appetizer was overcooked and burnt, and the sushi was mediocre at best. Given the poor service and subpar food, I would not recommend this restaurant. I would give another chance but... Because of the waiter i would not be back...

It's a great restaurant and very good service, the food tasted great and the staff is very friendly and even cracks a few jokes. The “fake duck” is of course awesome 🤣🤣 I can only recommend it to everyone. ☺️

Lovely little restaurant with really good food. I really enjoyed their fake duck! Definitely a good spot for vegetarians and vegans. Sadly, they didn't have the pumpkin dishes which were listed in their menu. Would have really love to try one of them.

I love this restaurant! As soon as you enter you are greeted by a friendly and warm atmosphere. The menu offers an excellent selection of Vietnamese dishes as well as drinks and tasted refreshing and very authentic. The service was attentive but never intrusive. You really feel welcome here as a guest. An absolute insider tip for everyone who loves Vietnamese cuisine or wants to rediscover it. I'll definitely be back!

Huge menue with diverse Asian options. The starters are magical, the different non-alcoholic drinks were delicious and came with great, fresh garnish. The main courses also convinced us to make Anh Em our new go-to spot for fresh, tasty, healthy food at Hermannstraße. Very suitable for any group of vegans, vegetarians and omnivores 😀

Great here, I'm mainly a sushi fan here, but the Vietnamese specialties are also excellent. The staff is very, very nice! Sitting outside is also possible, but right on Hermannstrasse with a lot of traffic.

Ambiance a bit like a canteen, but the food is really good.

Food was ok. But I've had better red curry. The dumplings were lukewarm. You can sit outside but there is a lot of traffic and noise. There were also lots of ants crawling around on the tables outside. It's more pleasant inside...I wouldn't necessarily eat there again. There are many other options around the corner...

A very tasty Vietnamese with a good sushi menu. I would especially recommend this restaurant to sushi lovers. The pulled pork burger with bao bun is also very solid. Can I definitely recommend. Nevertheless, it is also worth taking a look at the competition.

Food was good and reasonably priced, but starters and main course were served at the same time. Special requests could not be met and were rejected very uncomprehendingly. Service was generally taciturn. He also interrupted our conversation by cleaning up. Cashing out took a good 10 minutes in the end even though there wasn't much going on. At the bar the mixer was used loudly 2-3 times, which disturbed the atmosphere a bit. But it was decorated quite nicely! Overall, good food, but the surrounding area has some room for improvement

Based on the top reviews, we spent our evening here and were unfortunately very disappointed. The cleanliness of the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired - the table was completely sticky. The menu includes many dishes, from PAD Thai to sushi, although none of the dishes were convincing in terms of taste. The service was inattentive and hectic. We won't come back.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is nothing special, but the seating is extremely uncomfortable (stools without backrests). Unfortunately the food wasn't much better. The pho tasted bland and in the end you had to pay for the vegetables. A 1 liter bottle of sparkling water costs €6 and then a plastic bottle of Spreequell is served to match the ambience. One person serving the entire restaurant leads to long waiting times. We definitely won't be coming back and are still wondering where all the good reviews come from...

I ordered sushi. There was a hair in my food. The rice was mushy. There was hardly any shrimp/meat etc. in it, very very thin and small, and so much cucumber that you only tasted the cucumber. The sushi was in the box with the wasabi etc. squeezed next to each other and so my entire meal only tasted like it. Before I left I asked if there was any cocktail sauce in the bag. They said yes, but there was none. Not exactly friendly either and quite patient when you're still looking at what you want to order.

We actually wanted to eat somewhere else and discovered this place spontaneously due to time constraints! And we were so excited! The service was so quick and friendly, when people left from a better, comfortable place, we were immediately offered this place! The food was delivered so quickly, everything was done with joy. And it tasted great! Even the baked wontons were absolutely delicious and then the main courses… highly recommended!

Das Restaurant glänzt durch seine einzigartigen Gerichte und große Auswahl. Sie bieten zwar auch die Klassiker wie Rotes Curry etc. an, jedoch bin ich besonders begeistert von ihrer Spezialkarte auf welcher man beispielsweise Bahn Xeo findet (eine Art herzhafter vietnamesischer Pfannkuchen), welche unglaublich lecker und definitiv nicht die bekannten und stumpfen Klassiker sind. Desweiteren bieten sie eine große Auswahl veganer als auch vegetarischer Optionen an, wie zum Beispiel Chicken Alternative und nicht nur Tofu, wie man es oft von vietnamesischen Restaurants gewöhnt ist. Insgesamt kann ich dieses Restaurant wirklich nur empfehlen. Die Preise liegen zwar etwas über dem Durchschnitt sind jedoch in an Bedacht der Qualität völlig gerechtfertigt.

Flavorful, skillfully made, delicious Vietnamese food. The decor and music adds to the overall ambience and I love how they don’t water things down, while also being explorative with the menu. The staff is so nice and I love their story. Anh Em means “brothers” in Vietnamese and it’s run by two brothers, one who manages the restaurant and one who is responsible for the food. They are from the same area in Northern Vietnam that my family is from, which is probably why the food feels so nostalgic. My parents and family visited Berlin and loved this place too.

My fav restaurant in all over Berlin. BUT, on our last visit the unagi tempura sushi and bao burger were different from the other times. These are our menu favorites, so they are a must for our order. Normally, the bao is supposed to be pulled, but this time there were big chunks. The sushi tasted different too. I don't know what the reason was, but please bring back your original recipes! <3

Went there for lunch because of their ratings and it was very good. Had a veggie curry with peanut sauce and all tasted fresh and well spiced. I loved their menu as it contains the story of the restaurant and the two brothers that own it. Stuff was super friendly. It’s loud if you did outside because of the street but nice ambience inside. I will come back as there is a lot to discover on their menu!
