As regular guests, we can say that the service here is truly exceptional - especially if we register in advance, everything is already perfectly prepared. The food is authentic and delicious, prepared with high quality ingredients and great attention to detail. The staff is not only attentive, but also incredibly friendly and creates a pleasant atmosphere. The permanent staff in particular are happy to take the time to have a nice chat, which makes the stay even more personal. The ambience also contributes to the charm of the restaurant: rustically furnished, with Italian pictures and decorations. The cozy and authentic atmosphere makes the experience perfect. We were regular guests for many years. But it just doesn't work anymore. We wanted to give the restaurant a second chance today. It's been six months since then because the boss was very rude and rude to my husband when he asked a very nice question. We went there again today with friends because we always really enjoyed the food, especially the pizza, but on the one hand the prices are very attractive (compared to other equally good pizzerias) and the quantity as well as the quality and above all the atmosphere Unfortunately, the restaurant is no longer the same. I took the liberty of telling the owner openly but very calmly, politely and respectfully how disappointed we were when he treated my husband like that, and the response was so rude and provocative that he will never see us there again .

I often go to Angelo because I love the authentic Italian cuisine. The stone oven pizza is a highlight – crispy, aromatic and perfectly prepared. The friendly service and the cozy atmosphere make every visit a pleasure. Absolutely recommended!

Huge mountain of salad, delicious pasta. Unfortunately, I couldn't taste that certain something in the carbonara, which in itself means it makes a difference, but otherwise it was delicious. Very, very little time passed between the order and the plate at the table. Pleasant.

Before the Sunday evening game of 1.FC Saarbrücken, after a 2-hour drive, we went to "Angelo's Via Napoli", which we had chosen through the search in advance, to refresh ourselves. Service: There are several people working in service so that someone is always there quickly and an order can be placed at any time. The furnishings in "Angelo's Via Napoli" are similar to those we know from restaurant giants like "L'Osteria" & Co. The service organization seems to be very professional, as one wheel fits into the other. In addition to a knife and fork, you also get a pizza cutter delivered to your table. Simple but clever idea. - 4/5 Eat: That day I chose the “Pizza Maradona”. Salami, garlic salami and mushrooms were announced as toppings and were then found on them. The pizza actually tasted as hoped. The edge was fluffy and the salami varieties were of very good quality. That was fun. The edge could have been a little crispier, but that is simply not the case with Neapolitan pizzas in general. - 4/5 Value for money: My pizza cost 15.50. With two cokes I ended up with a total of €23.00, which is a good price considering the quality offered. I happily made the pilgrimage from "Angelo's Via Napoli" to the Ludwigsparkstadion. - 4/5 Conclusion: In my opinion a very good address when it comes to pizza. Cozy, delicious pizzas and attentive service. The overall picture was right for me that evening. - 4/5

Pizza was good, everything else was unfortunately very bad. Our table was so small that the two plates barely fit on it, very uncomfortable. A cheap white squishy cream was intended as a sauce for the carbonara pasta, but unfortunately it was left behind.

I ate at Angelo's Via Napoli for the first time today. We were offered great service and a great ambience. From the food you could clearly see that everything was handmade there, which was, among other things, very tasty. I also found the waiters to be very courteous and helpful. Nous avons pris deux plats de pâtes, les deux plats étaient de qualité industrielle, très déçu. Quantité très petite. Si vous ne prenez pas d’entrée + plat, ou bien pâtes + accompagnements, vous ne serez pas rassasiés. Pour cette fourchette de prix, cherchez quelque chose de plus qualitatif.

Food and service were great, I only have to deduct a star for the ambience because the acoustics are not good. At full capacity it is simply too loud.

I decided on noodles. The food was prepared quickly, but it was still cold on the bottom of the plate. The portion doesn't fill even a child. When I was finished, the plate was taken away from me straight away without asking if I wanted anything else or if I wanted the menu again. You feel a bit like you're on an assembly line.

Here you can have a great meal and have a lovely evening.

Went there with a group of friends. The food wasn't good in my opinion. The pasta I had lacked flavour and seasoning. I don't know if the food is supposed to be cold here, but it was cold. The ambience is alright.

Friendly service, delicious food and good drinks, what more could you want! Perfect for stopping off during a shopping trip, as there are enough spaces and it is centrally located in the city center. Update from a Friday evening The pizza was delicious, there's nothing to complain about. But the service...totally hectic and inattentive. There was no second round of drinks, plates were cleared even though the other person was still eating. Absolutely no go! Conclusion: apparently happy when the guests leave the restaurant quickly. Definitely not in the evening.

There is definitely the best food in Saarland here. You get top quality at a fair price. The employee Riaz served us and I have to say he rounded off the whole package. Damn good service!! It's hard to beat this service. The shop is heartily recommended by friends! If you haven't been there yet, you should take the chance, it's worth it!!

We had a lovely evening outside. It was extremely busy but the staff always seemed relaxed and friendly. Both of our pizzas 🍕 were very tasty. The house wine was also very good to drink and for Saarbrücken, at a fair price.

I ordered a 0.5l water. I received a whole 0.75l bottle. The dish I ordered was pasta with pesto. Unfortunately the pesto was not fresh and came from a can.

The food comes quickly and tastes very good. What really bothers me - and not just me - is being addressed as “young woman” when you are obviously no longer young. That is NOT a compliment! It's terrible: that the plate is taken away 'from under your nose', so to speak, while you're still chewing the last bite. As if the service staff were lurking when a knife and fork should be put down. Very unpleasant. Attention is nice, but you shouldn't overdo it. Because that's how you drive away guests who feel like they've been thrown out. Therefore only 3 stars for the service. (Who will probably be instructed to behave this way.)

Nach einem eher enttäuschenden Besuch der sogenannten TOGGO Tour auf dem Tbliser Platz und einer eher enttäuschenden Tour durch die Stadt (ist leider nicht schön) wollten wir noch eine Kleinigkeit essen. Beim Gang durch die Fußgängerzone ging es an vielen Lokalen vorbei, die die einladend aussahen waren aber zu oder aber zu gut besetzt. Also sagten wir uns, ab nach Hause!! Doch dann kamen die ihr hier vorbei, das Essen an einem der außen aufgestellten Tische sah gut aus, das Personal war sehr freundlich, so dass wir uns spontan dazu entschieden, hier zu essen. Das war an diesem Tag die beste Idee! ;-) Wir hatten alle eine Pizza, von daher kann ich nur die beurteilen und das muss ich mit einem „Ausgezeichnet“ machen. Größe, Geschmack und Preis, das passte, auch wenn wir zu Anfang noch dachten, das es doch gehobenere Preise sind, am Ende passte alles perfekt. Positiv zu erwähnen: Im Keller gibt es eine kleine Ecke wo Kinder spielen können, die Toiletten ebenfalls im Keller sind sehr sauber. Wir bedanken uns bei dem Team, ein enttäuschender Besuch in Saarbrücken wurde durch euch etwas besser.

Top ambience and top staff. Pizzas are very tasty, pasta is great and salad is fresh and crunchy. Always worth a visit! 5 stars are more than deserved. Update 07/24: Prices are now demanding. 150g schnitzel milanese, a few fries and grilled vegetables cost €19. 0.3l cola €3.90

One of my favorite places in Saarland. Absolutely love the pizza and Pasta. Great ambience and right in the heart of city center. Great place to spend quality times with loved ones.

I wasn't that impressed with the food. Had Scaloppina Crema (cream schnitzel) with spaghetti. The sauce was quite thick. There were also fried vegetables (peppers, zucchini and more). In my opinion it didn't really fit, but it's a matter of taste. Staff was very friendly.

When you arrived at this restaurant, you were warmly welcomed and escorted to your table. The service was always very nice and was always at the table immediately when a drink was empty. The pizza and schnitzel we had were delicious. However, there is a point deducted because the pizza came five minutes earlier than the schnitzel. The taste, service and ambience would make us visit this restaurant again at any time

Things are no longer the same as they used to be: We've been to our favorite restaurant with the whole family at least twice a month since the first day it opened about 14 years ago. The portions have now become smaller, although the prices have risen significantly, which is clearly noticeable. Plus the food really tastes worse compared to what it was even five years ago. There are probably a lot of savings in cooking... Inside the restaurant it is usually poorly ventilated, and outside there are always people smoking nearby or at the next table, exhaling their smoke directly onto our table. The owner of the restaurant, Via Napoli, tries to place as many tables as possible outside on the sidewalk, leaving hardly any space to push the chair to sit down. The whole thing is accompanied by a fake grin from the owner, who hasn't shown a genuine smile for years. I'm sorry to raise so many criticisms, but they have really accumulated. In the last 12 months or so we have only ordered pizza on almost every visit: on the one hand because of the very high prices of the other dishes and on the other hand because of the general decline in taste of all the dishes. It's also disappointing when you go to the Via Napoli restaurant for years and the owner doesn't notice you. Instead, he only greets his "southern-looking football friends" and no one else. We stopped going there and discovered many new restaurants that are no longer in the center of Saarbrücken, but are still much better quality and cheaper.

Total disappointment. For the prices, which are not exactly low, one would hope for more. The combination was a failure. Small portion, little sauce. You know a real Italian combination with at least. 3 different types of pasta. E.g. rigatoni, spaghetti and possibly tortelini or cannelloni or piece of lasagne. Here the combination was simply pasta (rigatoni, spaghetti and small penne) thrown into a small round baking dish. The taste wasn't special either. You pay €15.50 for this. Already intense. You get more in a small pizzeria. When I told the waiter that I was disappointed he wanted to argue with me. Not recommendable. Better go to another pizzeria. You get more for less money. Absolute disappointment

Authentic cuisine with a very nice team.

The pizza was very tasty, the penne wasn't enough. The food came extremely quickly. Free bread as a snack. Prices are high. Unfortunately the girl at the service on Saturday was very unfriendly. After paying, she turned around and left without comment. No goodbye and there was no response to my goodbye. As soon as we arrived she was offended because we didn't want her suggested table. It's a shame that the overall impression is spoiled by this.

The visit to Angelo's via Napoli in the heart of Saarbrücken was a great experience! The restaurant impresses with its authentic Italian cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere. The pizza was outstanding, with a perfectly thin crust and fresh ingredients. The salad was also delicious, with fresh ingredients and perfectly seared meat. I also particularly liked the selection of dressings, of which you could choose between three different ones. The service was attentive and friendly, which made the evening particularly pleasant. The location of the restaurant is ideal for a nice evening in the city. Highly recommended for lovers of Italian cuisine!

Bin aufgrund der vielen guten Bewertungen hingekommen. Hatte mich für eine Fischplatte für 43 Euro entschieden. Leider war der Schwertfisch zäh und durchgegart, dazu 2 Garnelen,Pulpo und ein paar Nudeln. Hier passt leider das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis gar nicht, zudem war die Qualität mangelhaft. Einziger Pluspunkt: Der Kellner war nett, das bringt einen aber ehrlich gesagt nicht weiter.
