I was there quite late and still managed to get something to eat – I thought that was great! The food was really delicious and fresh, absolutely top-notch in terms of taste. The menu cost €25, which is quite a lot, but prices generally seem to be around that level here. The service was a bit tired or annoyed, but I can understand that at that time of day. Napkins were only provided upon request, but otherwise everything was fine. Overall, a good experience; I'd probably go back.

I’ve been to An Nam many times, usually with my family, and it’s definitely one of our top two favorite Asian restaurants whenever we visit the Designer Outlet in Wolfsburg. The food is tasty, the portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable.,Our favorite dishes include Bún Nem, Bò Nướng Sả Ớt, and Bún Bò Nam. On chilly days, their Pho is the perfect comfort food. I do wish they offered a bit more variety of fresh herbs. I also love their crispy spring rolls and the rich, flavorful Vietnamese coffee — a perfect way to end the meal.

Far too expensive compared to the small portions. Prices used to be fairer. The service was attentive, but you got the impression that everything was just rushed. The food itself was okay, just very small portions.

The food here is simply disgusting—dirty, inedible, and absolute garbage. I wouldn't recommend anyone try this restaurant. The staff are disrespectful and have a truly nasty attitude. Never again!

We ate on the terrace, overlooking the Phaeno, and were delighted with the excellent dishes, including Cuon Tom (3 large shrimps wrapped in a rice pancake, apple, and mango), and a Nom Xoai Ngo Sen salad. It was very fresh, excellent, and generously served. Very good, fast service. I hope to come back to try other dishes. A great discovery.

The food was delicious and the service was very fast. Everyone was friendly and respectful, and it was nice and quiet. All in all, it was great.

Compared to last year, when we ate here again for our wedding anniversary, the quality of the food no longer seemed to be what we were used to.

A beautiful hotel, perfectly located near the outlet mall, train station, and Autostadt. With online check-in and check-out, everything is quick and easy. The breakfast was plentiful, with something for everyone. The bartenders at the lobby bar tried hard but unfortunately had no idea what they were doing. Instead of Campari-O, they served Campari with soda, and an Aperol Spritz was also a challenge. All in all, though, highly recommended.

The bun dish was rather unloving. A portion of flavorless rice noodles. Mixed salad from a bag with nothing on it. The spring rolls were also apparently from a convenience store. It came with a watery sauce. And it was rather expensive. You could have had much more; I've had much better.

We thought it was good. It would have been even better if the salad had been fresher and without any brown spots. Therefore, it's deducting one star.

Oh, what a shame, where did An Nam end up? Years ago, it was one of our favorite Asian restaurants: delicious, fresh, and special. Today's meal was a disappointment. A simple red curry should have been perfect. This one came with soft, thoroughly cooked vegetables and huge chunks of tofu, along with an unpleasantly sweet red curry sauce. A disaster for me in terms of taste. When asked if I liked it, I gave my opinion. The response was "Sorry." Aha. The soy sauce and the Vietnamese(?) sauce for the second course tasted like pre-made bottled sauce diluted with water. Thanks for the old kitchen, where delicious dishes were prepared with love. The current kitchen, on the other hand, is forgettable in its lack of love and taste.

Portions are generously sized, and the food is served fresh and hot. Payment is accepted in cash and by card. You can sit inside or outside. Good value for money.

Eating as good as if you were on vacation

I was at AN NAM today and ordered the papaya salad. Despite repeatedly requesting that I wanted it with five chilies, the salad came without them. I wasn't impressed with the flavor either. How can a salad taste good if the most important ingredients aren't included? Tomatoes, fresh lime juice, snake beans, fish sauce, dried shrimp—everything was missing. Just a boring salad. Anyone who calls this salad authentic has never been to Thailand or eaten Som Tam Thai.

Not all dishes were to our taste.

We went there 2 times for lunch during our stay in Wolfsburg. We loved limonade, mango shakes, Vietnam coffee, and of course all dishes are delicious. Staff are very friendly and the place are very cozy! Highly recommended!

If you're coming to Wolfsburg by train, are hungry, like Asian cuisine, and don't have to make every penny count, walk in. The ambiance is very good even during the day, and the vegetables in the food are crisp. They offer exciting non-alcoholic drinks, and everything so far has been delicious. Overall, it's a good place. Only 4 stars overall, because it probably could have been better. But individually, everything is great.

The daily specials are incredibly delicious. It's a little escape from everyday life in the middle of the city. The service is excellent. I wish they had decaffeinated espresso and cappuccino.

One of the best Asian restaurants in Wolfsburg and very centrally located. Food is wonderfully prepared and comes to the table very quickly. We only had to wait 5 minutes for the starter and the main course came less than 20 minutes later. The service is really great. You immediately receive attention and are served. The atmosphere is very relaxed but sitting outside is unfortunately a problem from midday onwards as the outside seating is in the shade from then on. So it has to be very warm to enjoy it. The inside is very modern and despite the fact that there was a lot going on, you could have a conversation without any problems. Definitely highly recommended. Enjoy the food. 👍🏼

I would particularly like to highlight the friendly and attentive service - I asked several times whether everything was OK, which I found very pleasant. Meine Tochter wollte zum Abendspiel der Frauen Bundesliga und da ich ohne Mittagessen losgefahren war, wurde erstmal das Auto bei Allerpark abgestellt, dann der Drahtesel gesattelt und zu diesem vietnamesische Restaurant geradelt. Welche ich mir im Vorfeld ausgesucht hatte, denn die Bewertung klagen nicht schlecht. Vor Ort bestellte ich eine BO NUONG XA OT gegrilltes Rindfleisch mit Zitronengras, Chili & Ingwer und als Nachtisch BANANE IM PYJAMA. Mein Jasmin Tee war kaum durchgezogen da kam schon das Essen, das nenne ich mal schnell. Die Portion sah auf den ersten Blick gar nicht so groß aus, aber ich hatte schließlich Mühe zumindest das gesamte Rindfleisch zu essen. Frische Zutaten waren mit Ingwer, Zitronengras und Gewürzen gut abgeschmeckt. Die scharfe Note vom Chili habe ich etwas vermisst. Der Nachtisch war der krönende Abschluss dieses Restaurantbesuches. Preislich nicht gerade ein Schnäppchen, doch das würde mich nicht von einem zweiten Besuch abhalten.

Unfortunately I have to give this review: We were shocked when we received our €19.50 plate...that's the amount of a larger starter in some restaurants...plus it was absolutely unappealing. Unfortunately, the taste also left a lot to be desired...the beef was overly salty and the baby squid was rubbery with way too much lemongrass, so I wasn't sure if it was peel, gristle, or spices that I kept having in my teeth. The also very manageable portion of rice that was served with the squid had a strange aftertaste All in all, far too little, not tasty and overpriced...almost €50 for 2 meals and 2 drinks...which would be absolutely fair given the quality...but is by no means justified The service couldn't say a word, so we were served almost wordlessly, which is synonymous with unfriendly. The atmosphere is cold and some of the furniture is thrown together. So we went to another restaurant unsatisfied and hungry...what a shame. I absolutely cannot confirm the good reviews here. The first and last time for us!

I have never tasted better pho soup than the one sold here. Whenever I'm in Wolfsburg, I visit this restaurant.

Nice restaurant next to the train station. The service is hard-working but unskilled and has language deficiencies. The tuna fillet was probably the worst fillet I have ever eaten. It is fried absolutely dry, tasteless and colorless and has a brittle consistency. It's crazy that a restaurant offers something like this to customers.

We were there yesterday and very shocked by the food. I had fried noodles with beef, which was more like a mush mixed together with soup than anything else. Nothing was fresh there. You could taste the flavor enhancers extremely. Then we had chicken with vegetables and coconut sauce, which had more meat (tough and oversalted) than anything else. The nuggets for the kids were ok. You can't do anything wrong there. All the fun cost almost 100 euros. We come from Berlin and are used to completely different things. The price doesn't matter, but the quality has to be right too! We don't understand the positive comments at all. We do not recommend it and will not come again. Too bad

Had lunch there 12/18/24. Despite being at full capacity and without a reservation, we were immediately assigned a place for 2 people. Very pleasant, friendly and fast service. This restaurant is very, very well organized. But the most important thing is the food: The Pho Bo is absolutely delicious, as is the Pho Ga. The wontons and summer rolls too. We'd love to come back and systematically browse through the menu. Clear recommendation!

The food and service are great, the shop is comfortably furnished and you can also sit outside. I have to deduct one point for the environment. Nevertheless, we really enjoy eating there.

So we were eating there today and I ordered the summer rolls to take away. When I got home I just found half of this beetle in the summer roll. It's so incredibly disgusting and I want to share it because I was honestly disgusted at that moment. I think everyone needs to be aware of the circumstances in the kitchen. Nevertheless, I would like to say that An Nam refunded me the money for the entire meal and also responded directly.

This was our third time in the restaurant. The first two times were okay to good. But yesterday, November 15th, 24, that was really bad!!! “Overcooked”, the quantity/size of the portion is far less than the previous times! Very disappointed 😞! BUT THE PRICES ARE/PROUD FOR IT! The food is of high quality, as is the service. I prefer to eat vegan pho, it's really delicious! Reservation makes sense, can be done online in no time.

Absolute recommendation for us. Great food, delicious drinks, friendly staff. Were there often in the summer. But even in winter, the half hour drive is always worth it for us. It's also great that you can reserve online. Space requests are fulfilled 99% of the time. We'll definitely be back.
