An An Vietnam & Thai Cusine in Hamburg

Little Asian at the back exit of the main train station and then 300 m past the Hotel Reichshof. We had a delicious Vietnamese meal, quite authentic in fact, with very friendly service. We can fully recommend the restaurant.

If you need to add fresh vegetables to a meal, Vietnamese is always good. Great selection. Starters are a good portion to allow for a main too.

A decent bowl of pho. The broth was tasty, but had lots of ginger? The portion of beef was very generous.

We had to wait longer for a train in Hamburg with bikes and didn't want to have dinner in the hectic, crowded train station. The An An was just around the corner, where we sat outside in the evening sun and had a delicious, fresh and cheap Vietnamese meal. The food also came quickly.

Really not a good meal for relatively much money. Hamburg is expensive but this is overpriced. The menu also mentions Vietnamese dishes and at the end you have “Asia” snack standard on your plate. Lots of fat, glutamate and little fresh. Not worth it!

If you place your order after more than 2 hours. If you don't want to wait, please order here. The waiting time updated and increased several times, we were lied to on the phone that the driver was already there and the order would be delivered immediately. Nothing arrived and we went to bed hungry. Thanks for nothing! 🤬🤬🤬

Visit to the An An restaurant with Vietnamese and Thai cuisine, Lange Reihe 2 in St. Georg. In very warm weather, fast and very friendly and attentive service.

Had some delicious food at the restaurant An An! I was alone and was able to get a table myself and got my food freshly made within 12 mins or so. 🔹I ordered the crispy chicken with some rice and it was amazing! Not only was the quantity fulfilling, but the flavors were really good. The dishes will definitely make you want to come back for more and try something new! 🔹The restaurant had good seating and the decor was also nice. 🔹The staff was super friendly. 🔹The food prices I would say are reasonable as the quantity is a lot. If you're in Hamburg, I would definitely give this restaurant a try!

Went here two times, one ok, one not so good. The first time I had the Pho, it was ok, but not amazing. Next day I asked for recommendations and they recommended fried noodles. There was no taste at all, I asked for any sauce, suggested hoi sin and lime, but the server just told me to use soy sauce. Very disappointed since it has good reviews. All in all, food wass tasteless and boring and service not so good.

Cute little restaurant with a top price-performance ratio. A meat eater, a vegetarian and a vegan all got their money's worth. You can also use the restaurant with a wheelchair if you have someone accompanying you.

Food rather mediocre, location near main station good We were a little disappointed in the taste. The pho and the rice noodle with chicken were just ok. The beef in the pho was gray in appearance and the chicken in the rice noodle dish was only sparsely available and the entire dish was too sour. The wontons were tasty but very expensive. We were shocked about the cheap mini spring rolls that everyone knows and can be dispensed with...

Very nice restaurant near Hamburg main station. Here you can sit comfortably in pleasantly dimmed light. The food is plentiful and has a nice range of spices. The vegetables are crisp and fresh. Very nice and attentive service. Rather inconspicuous from the outside, but the visit is worth it.

Vom Ambiente über den Service bis zum Essen war alles sehr schön. Das Restaurant ist liebevoll eingerichtet, der Service superfreundlich und das Essen sehr lecker und aromatisch. Auch die Preise sind sehr Inordnung. Besonders auch hier, dass man einfach Leitungswasser 0.4l bestellen kann für 1.50€.

Ich bin nach einem Theaterbesuch spontan in das gemütliche Restaurant gegangen und habe sehr gut gegessen. Den Namen des Gerichtes habe ich vergessen, aber es war gut. Der Service war ebenfalls gut, freundlich und schnell. Ein Stern Abzug für den Aperol Spritz ( zur Zeit mein Leibgetränk). Das Glas war gerade mal halb voll und das Getränk schien mir sehr verdünnt. Auf dem Foto ìst das Glas schon fast leer, da hatte ich schon etwas daraus getrunken. Trotzdem Empfehlung!

I ordered the freestyle mix sushi plate, 20 bites.. I hoped that the chef would mix som really good flavours together. Insted a got 3 plain California rolls and some huge thick bites of tuna and salmon as sashimi. And with a glas of wine I paid 45$!!!! Would not recommend.

Was looking forward to eating there, food was wellprepared, but both the wonton soup and the maindish was tasteless.....and the staff was moody and looked like they didnt want to be there... Maybe they just had a bad day.

Alles was ich wollte, war eine Maracujaschorle. Alles was ich bekam war eine Enttäuschung…. Also, ich hab eine Maracujaschorle bestellt, gabs nicht mehr, schade. Wollte stattdessen eine Cola, aber das stand anscheinend nicht zur Wahl. Ich durfte zwischen Apfel oder Mangoschorle entscheiden. Ich nahm Apfel, das mag ich. Aber wie immer im Leben, wird man enttäuscht und hintergangen, ich bekam Mango. Sonst war alles super, top Essen, top Restaurant, top Stimmung Aber wie wir’s in Hamburg gerne sagen: Manchmal läufts, manchmal gehts, manchmal stehts. Ahoi

Very good food for a very decent price! Unfortunately, the service was disastrous. Unfriendly staff telling us that we cannot sit outside to open the terrasse 1 minutes after. Furthermore, we waited for the bill 20 minutes when the place was empty

Das Essen ist unverändert sehr gut, der Service flott und freundlich. Aber der Gastraum ist zunehmend wenig gepflegt und erwartet den Gast in recht liebloser Gestaltung. Die plastikbezogenen Sitzbänke sind in die Jahre gekommen und an vielen Stellen eingerissen! Die Speisekarten werden in verschmutzten und abgenutzten Einbänden vorgelegt, die Innenseiten sind voller Flecken, alles sehr unappetitlich! Auf den Tischen lieg/t/en mal ein Set, mal zwei, mal keiner, alles lieblos hingeworfen, mal ein Blume, mal keine und stellenweise gibt es die laminierte Sushikarte als Set. Das alles ist wenig einladend, man muss das Hee Yang schon sehr mögen und dorthin einladen würden wir nicht mehr!

first time visit on 22/09/2022. Saw signs on the door for sushi and thai food. lets be very clear - they dont serve authentic thai food at all. I was married to a Thai and i have eaten in many thai restaurants like Sala Thai and Tai Tan in Hamburg. Service was lack lustre. Food was sub par. the chef is from Korean - (need i say more about thai food) i chose the Tom yum Gai - it was not authentic - completely watered down and no flavour. upon paying the bill - I was under charged by 4.50 euros. I had no cash in my pocket so i was asked to go to the cash machine to withdraw cash to make the payment. I felt like walking out and asking for a full refund !. I was then charged 10.00 euros on the card machine and paid the difference of 5.50 back - which was fine. if you want thai food DONT go here.
