The seating is very comfortable, and the atmosphere is warm and pleasant. The service is really friendly, and the chef(?) is also very, very nice. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are really good. I will definitely come back here again; it's one of the best bifteki I've had so far.

A wonderful Greek restaurant – highly recommended! The food was outstanding! We ordered gyros, souvlaki, moussaka, tzatziki, and a Greek salad – everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and incredibly delicious. The moussaka was a particular highlight. The house wine was also very good. The service was friendly, quick, and attentive. The atmosphere was warm and inviting – you feel like you're in Greece. I'll definitely be back!

The Ampelon is a nice place for Greek food. Currently I find the food a bit too salty. But that's a matter of taste. The staff is always friendly. The quality of the food is good. The portion sizes are absolutely sufficient. The ambience has a Greek touch but is not overloaded. If you want, you can also sit outside in summer.

Very good food with great flavors. Stands out pleasantly from the Greek monotony. A starter with a really tasty fava. The baby calamari had a good texture and taste. The lamb shank was tender as butter with a great tomato sauce and rice noodles.

One of the best restaurants in the area. Absolutely top value for money, I've eaten much worse and more expensive elsewhere. Definitely recommended!

I used to visit the previous tenants regularly, which was okay, but the new tenants are better. They haven't increased the prices and if anything the food is better than before. Price/performance absolutely okay

After the transition to the new owner (the previous one has retired) first meal. Food was great. Very well seasoned, portions appropriate for the price. High quality meat and very well prepared. Even the gyros were crispy in places but still juicy. We will be back....

Went to the Ampelon for the first time on Corpus Christi with 3 people. Everyone enjoyed it very much (warm starter variations + village plates). Friendly staff, perfect service, very good Greek cuisine with (too) large portions, cozy furnishings and reasonable prices. When the weather is nice you can also sit on the terrace behind the restaurant. There is a daily menu for lunch throughout the week. There are also some underground parking spaces directly below the restaurant.

If you would like to go out for a delicious Greek meal, this is the place for you. The atmosphere could be made more inviting. It still looks the same as it did from the previous owner. The service staff are attentive and courteous. For me personally, the plates could be prepared more lovingly and smaller portions. I've eaten here several times now and each time we've fed one or two more people. The salt plate that each guest receives with their main course should be left out or charged as an extra. Therefore the positions are far too oversized. I recommend everyone to have a starter plate, they are so incredibly tasty and always a highlight for me.

Had lunch with colleagues. Food tasted great. Good portions at a fair price. Ambience and service great. Everything went really smoothly. However, there is little parking space in the immediate vicinity. But in any case a clear recommendation. We will visit the restaurant again.

Preis Leistung und alles einwandfrei. Die drei Saucen als Vorspeise haben leider nicht so geschmeckt, beim nächsten Besuch reicht es dann vielleicht für 5 Sterne.

Essen war gut. Service okay leider bekommt niemand mit wenn die Gläser leer sind.

Wir hatten die kalte Vorspeiseplatte. Das Ambiente vermittelte eine einladende Atmosphäre, die den Abend perfekt machte. Das Personal war nicht nur professionell, sondern auch äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam. Eine rundum gelungene kulinarische Reise – wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Der erste Besuch nach dem die Besitzer gewechselt haben. Vom Essen war ich angenehm überrascht, es war sehr lecker, wenn auch etwas kalt. Keine überladenen Teller wie es vorher der Fall war und es sahen nicht alle Gerichte gleich aus. Der Service ist ausbaufähig, es war sehr voll im Restaurant aber man sollte dennoch nicht eine Stunde auf das Essen warten müssen und darum "kämpfen" daß man noch etwas zu trinken bekommt. Vielleicht ist es dem Personalmangel geschuldet, ist aber auf jeden Fall nicht sehr zufriedenstellend. Preise sind sehr moderat und die Bedienung freundlich.

Ein echtes Schmuckstück für die Stadt Schordorf.Ich empfehle es sehr!
