Amboss in Waren (Müritz)

Ich habe meine Besitzer gebeten, eine… wie nennt man das noch gleich? Ach ja, eine Bewertung zu schreiben. Mein Name ist Marley und ich bin ein Labrador. Ein ziemlich hübscher Kerl, das muss auch mal gesagt werden. Also, ich war mit meinen „Angestellten“ im Urlaub in Waren an der Müritz und wir sind im Biergarten Amboss eingekehrt. Und was soll ich sagen? Bevor meine Angestellten überhaupt bedient wurden, hat mir die nette Dame erst einmal frisches Wasser gebracht. Toller Service! Als sie dann die Bestellung aufgenommen hat, wurde ich erst einmal ausgiebig gekrault und anschließend gab es auch noch ein Leckerli für mich. Ein wirklich toller Laden! Der Biergarten ist wunderschön, mit vielen Bäumen und angenehm schattigen Plätzen. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder. Meine Angestellten dürfen natürlich auch mit.

Wir waren mit Freunden im Amboss, wir haben das urgemütliches Ambiente mit super toller Livemusik sehr genossen und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam und freundlich, wir empfehlen euch gerne weiter und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Schöner lauschiger Hinterhof abseits des Trubels mit tollen schattigen Sitzplätzen. Wir haben unter einem Plauenbaum gesessen. Ein echter Geheimtipp.

Einen wunderbaren Abend mit Life-Music von Josef Wrobel verbracht. Urgemütlicher Biergarten, ganz lieber Service. Weiter so.

Es ist schon ein schöner Biergarten mit netter Bedienung. Nur leider waren die Frikadelle und die Pancakes mit Apfelmus nix. Wahrscheinlich gekaufte Produkte Die Frikadelle war sehr klein trocken und geschmacklos mit einer Scheibe Toast. Es wäre schöner wenn die Speisen selbst gemacht und frisch zubereitet wären. Nur so als Anregung.

Grauenhafter Service. Wir setzten uns um 15:15 Uhr und bestellten etwas zu essen. Die Bedienung teilte uns jedoch mit, dass die Küche für 30 Minuten geschlossen sei. Wir bestellten Bier und beschlossen zu warten. Nur zwei Minuten später erhielt der Nachbartisch sein Essen, aber wir ließen es dabei bewenden. Um 15:45 Uhr fragten wir erneut, ob wir bestellen könnten. Die Bedienung beharrte darauf, dass die 30 Minuten noch nicht verstrichen seien. Als wir sie darauf hinwiesen, dass dies nicht der Fall war, schaute sie auf ihr Gerät und behauptete, wir seien erst 15 Minuten da, was schlichtweg nicht stimmte. Da wir sahen, dass anderen Gästen Kuchen serviert wurde, fragten wir, ob wir wenigstens ein Dessert bestellen könnten. Sie sagte uns, es gäbe nur noch einen Kuchen, also bestellten wir ihn. Fünf Minuten später kam sie zurück und sagte, auch dieser Kuchen sei aus und es gäbe überhaupt keine Kuchen mehr. Während des gesamten Besuchs war sie abweisend und unfreundlich. Leider hat der Service unseren Abend komplett ruiniert.

Wir waren hier heute zum ersten Mal. Sehr schöner Innenhof, viele gemütliche Plätze. Angezogen wurden wir von der Tageskarte mit Wildgulasch zum Preis von € 8,40. Also, bestellt Wildgulasch und einmal Soljanka von der Karte. Soljanka gibt es heute nicht 😔. Na dann halt Brezel mit hausgemachtem Dip. Der war allerdings dem Milram Tzsatziki sehr ähnlich(?!). Der Wildgulasch hatte auch den Anschein, dass er aus der Dose kommt. Beim bezahlen hieß es dann auch noch, dass keine Kartenzahlung möglich sei. So sind wir zum Automaten gegangen und haben noch Geld geholt…

Sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre, ein sympathischer Kellner und tolle Speisen! Gerne wieder 👍🏼

Sehr entspannter Biergarten, freundliche Bedienung trotz Hitze

Bei über 30°C im Schatten, ein gemütlicher, natürlich beschatteter Hofgarten. Der Name findet sich in einigen Accessoires im Hof wieder. Nette, freundliche Mitarbeitenden, kleine angepasste Speisekarte mit ausreichender Getränke Auswahl. Die Preisgestaltung stimmt. Immer wieder gerne. Wir haben nichts gegessen.

Superschöne Location im Innenhof. Bedienung freundlich & schnell. Dankeschön. Wir haben nur das tolle Bier getrunken.

Habe zwar dort nicht gegessen, aber dieser Biergarten ist total urig,hat seinen eigenen flär im Hinterhof

Eine wunderschöne Garten Wirtschaft aber was die Präsentation der Speisen angeht ist noch viel Luft nach oben. Der Service war nett aber auch nicht unbedingt der schnellste

Mega schön , gemütlich… total urig !!! Auf jeden Fall mal rein gehen … sehr nette Bedienung, Kleinigkeiten zu essen … nur zu empfehlen!!!

Direkt an der Einkaufsmeile gelegen, aber unscheinbarer Zugang. Man erwartet dort gar nicht was man dort findet. Supi toller Biergarten, sehr empfehlenswert. Ganz kleine einfache Speisekarte, aber viele leckere Getränke. Daumen hoch!

Nur lecker Bierchen getrunken, Ambiente bei diesen Sommertemperaturen und historischen Hintergrund echt zu empfehlen

Hier werden Touristen anscheinend nicht bedient. Wir sind nach 15 Minuten wieder gegangen, obwohl die Bedienung am Tisch nebenan saß, als wir gekommen sind. Wir wurden zwar gesehen, aber nicht bedient.

We were there yesterday afternoon. We received a very friendly welcome from the waiter, Michael. First, he asked if our dog 🐶 could have water and a treat. In other restaurants, you have to ask or get them yourself. The beer was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. If we hadn't had to catch the bus, we definitely would have stayed longer. We voted Michael the best waiter in Waren. We'll definitely be back this week. Thanks for the lovely afternoon.

Great atmosphere, great and very attentive service, very personal. You just feel at home. Keep up the good work! We'd love to come back. Update 09/2025: We visited Amboss twice this week and were not disappointed. The service was very attentive, the beer selection was excellent. The prices are fair. Thanks to the manager for the little gift. Animal lovers stick together. PS: How's the little pigeon doing?

We only had a drink, we forgot about eating and drinking. The waiter forgot about us and then the drinks came with their thumbs in the glass. I got a new glass.

There's only toast with the bockwurst and frigadelles. Not even a roll. Unheard of these days.

Many different beers in a great atmosphere with friendly service.

The food arrived five minutes before the drinks. The service was friendly, but seemed overwhelmed (beer was held askew and spilled). The staff gathered together to smoke in the courtyard – right in front of the guests. Otherwise, the atmosphere was pleasant.

A great beer garden tucked away in a back courtyard. Lots of little decorative eye-catchers, lovingly arranged. Delicious beers, which you can sample using a tasting board. Highly recommended.

Very very cozy, we only enjoyed drinks, so no review of the food possible.

When we ordered, half of the drinks we ordered were no longer available. A drink wasn't brought, despite repeated requests. Ultimately, the wrong drink arrived, which we returned. When we paid, we noticed the bill and later asked for clarification. The returned drink was included in the bill. They apologized and wished us a pleasant evening anyway. Only after we asked for a refund, since we hadn't consumed any of the drinks, did they respond – a shame. I haven't laughed so much about truly bad service in a long time. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was quite pleasant. However, they could have done better.

We discovered it spontaneously while strolling through Waren and stopped in for a delicious beer in the back courtyard, surrounded by idyllic greenery. Very fast and friendly service. We'll try the food on our next visit. Highly recommended.

We actually just wanted to take a look at the cozy entrance, but then we stayed and were treated to a very good meal.

It's a very nice beer garden. Small, cozy, and quaint. They only serve light meals. Opening hours could be a bit longer on weekends. Unfortunately, they close at 8:00 PM.

A very pleasant atmosphere. Delicious drinks and an incredibly beautiful, romantic courtyard to relax in. The memories will last forever.

We visited the town center/pedestrian zone of Müritz on a Sunday and stumbled upon the Amboss beer garden quite by chance, whose ambiance (arbors, fountains, rustic outdoor seating) was inviting. We sat down on a bench in a gazebo, but since we're not beer drinkers and the illustrated cocktail menu with various drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) caught our eye, we opted for a Virgin Colada and a Swimming Pool. The beer garden wasn't overly busy, and after a short wait, the male waitress brought us two glasses—about two-thirds full—each with a whitish or bluish content and plenty of ice cubes. There was no fruit, decoration, or anything similar, and thus far from what one would expect from the illustrated menu and, in our opinion, what one would expect from a well-prepared cocktail. I then politely asked the young man if they had run out of fruit?! Answer: "No, why?" I then pointed out that the cocktails were absolutely not what the menu displayed here would suggest, and certainly not what the average cocktail connoisseur would normally be served! "Why, what's wrong?" After I suggested he take a look at the pictures on the menu and ask if he'd ever seen ready-mixed cocktails before, his succinct reply was: "Those are just examples on the menu and have nothing to say!" He wasn't open to further arguments, stuck to his opinion, shrugged his shoulders, and disappeared into the bar. So, this gentleman is extremely guest-oriented!! The drinks tasted acceptable, but nothing more. Well, now you can accuse us: If you go to a beer garden, you're not allowed to order cocktails. Yes and no, because if there's a cocktail menu, it should at least be presented in a somewhat visually appealing way... and there will certainly be other guests who don't just drink beer. However, we were generally disturbed by the reaction and behavior of the staff; we would definitely not recommend a second visit to this cozy beer garden, which is definitely worth seeing.

Beer garden in a pretty courtyard. Surprisingly, not only local German beers (1664, Carlsberg, Grimbergen...). But still nice!

Great pub in the backyard with very friendly staff. We even had live music, which was really nice. Always a great spot in the shade on hot, sunny days.

A wonderful, relaxed place to relax and unwind. The service was top-notch! We'll definitely be back!

Great beer garden with nice service.

We only had a drink there in the afternoon and were disappointed. We couldn't understand the good reviews. The atmosphere in the courtyard was quite nice and rustic, the live music was okay, and the staff wasn't unfriendly, BUT our drinks were beyond sad... Aperol Spritz and Lemoncello Spritz, tasted sloppy and had no spritz at all (i.e., no sparkling carbonation), no citrus slice, not chilled, and the ice was only visible as a few shards. The white with a shot (green) came in a glass three-quarters full, with no foam, and completely warm. We returned that one too. With a roll of our eyes, we were offered a new white. There, we could watch it being prepared, and it was really much better and fresher. Maybe we just had a bad day there.

A special location here in the beer garden, highly recommended!

The most beautiful beer garden I've ever visited. We discovered it on our first day of vacation and only had a few drinks. Unfortunately, the beer garden closes at 8 p.m., so we would stay until midnight every night.

Since there was no service, I can't rate the food. The waitress skillfully ignored us for 17 minutes.

The service is a complete disaster. Lazy and rude. The main thing is that the cigarette tastes good. I think they smoke too much weed. There's something better and cheaper on every corner in Waren.

Unfortunately, the very nice ambience was completely ruined by the unfriendly waitress and the beer came without foam.

Dear hosts, dear guests! We've been to this beautifully landscaped beer garden every year so far. This year, on May 20, 2025, rats were racing in the corner on the decorative pile of stones. Our men spoke to the waiter, who calmly replied, "Yes, we know, there's a whole nest there!" Dear boss, please take care of this problem. Nice ambience Unfortunately the kitchen was closed at 4:15 p.m. and there wasn't even a herring roll. Closing time was only 6 p.m.

Very nice atmosphere and super nice and attentive service. Our dog was immediately greeted with love and before we could order, our dog was given water and treats.

Can't recommend. Fish isn't prepared as requested. Service is slow and has no overview. The restaurant is only run by women, all completely overloaded, no system behind it. Many guests then left because they noticed that even the order didn't work.

We felt like we were here every day of our vacation. It's really rare to have such a beautiful beer garden. Very quaint, rustic & the little details in the garden make the whole thing very cozy & just round it off. What you definitely have to mention is the staff. Here you can find, for me, the two best quality beers on tap! Duckstein and Carlsberg (the beer for all Liverpudlians) I'm in paradise here with a great atmosphere! I was even allowed to take the beer mats with me as a souvenir! Highly recommended!

The waiter was very funny and friendly. The atmosphere was great, and the drinks selection was plentiful. We had a very comfortable seating. The sandwich with lard and cucumber was delicious.

Such a nice quiet place, in the middle of the city of Waren a.d. Müritz. The magic of autumn can be felt here. The natural shade garden...where the sun shines through every now and then is just amazing, great. The service is so nice and pleasant...at least 5 stars Food great!

We only had something to drink (great white wine) but the service was great. Funny, happy, regardless of whether you had a child or a dog...everyone was warmly welcomed. We need more people like that...not just in the catering industry. It was very pleasant to stay there for a while. We laughed a lot! Thanks for that!

We sat in a very nice beer garden. The waiter is awesome, super friendly. The prices for the drinks are acceptable. I ordered a Leberkäse with bread for €7. It came with a very thin, warm slice of Leberkäse, very salty tasting, the same size as the slice of toast bread that came with it, I would have liked at least one slice of real bread for this. Unfortunately, you cannot see the finished dishes on the menu. The price was a bit outrageous for this. 2 days later we wanted to go again, it was closed even though we came during the stated opening time, the whole way was free.

This is truly the most beautiful beer garden I have seen so far! You feel right at home, just super comfortable in the middle of nature. Unfortunately we were only here on vacation, but we will definitely come back at some point. Robert is the best and this humor is just so extremely funny :D Lots of love from the young lady with the lower leg prosthesis, my sister, my brother and my parents.

The waiter greets you with a lot of fun! You feel comfortable from the first second. The waiter is really awesome! If we hadn't found it on the last day of our vacation and lived here, it would be our favorite place! We're already thinking about taking another vacation here in Waren just so we can go to Ambross! Super fun atmosphere and the drinks taste delicious 😋 Keep it up!!!!!

Very cozy beer garden in the middle of the city. At the time of our existence, all seats were always occupied. That actually says it all. Very nice and nice operators. The highlight is the waiter (the waitress) always has a funny saying on his lips. Provides entertainment, atmosphere and fun. We'll definitely come back again.

Unfortunately, the fantastic ambience cannot hide the fact that I ate the worst meatball of my life. However, with an industrially produced potato salad, this costs at least €8.90. The service staff, who is very funny and hard-working, has to look after the entire beer garden alone. There is a lot of room for improvement.
