Amber's Restaurant & Hotelbar in Hilden

We had brunch today and will definitely be back. Very nice and elegant ambiance. We had to make a reservation in advance. When we arrived, the table was already set with orange juice. The food was very plentiful and delicious. One of us was vegetarian; she was naturally full, but the selection, especially when it came to cold cuts, wasn't that extensive. Some fruit would have been nice, too. The service was also very friendly and attentive. There was a slight language barrier, but that didn't detract from the service. Regarding the price, the selection, and the time available for eating, there's nothing to complain about. It's a bit more expensive, but you can still treat yourself.

Alcohol in food not declared! Thanks for letting my children (ages 1 & 4) and I (as a breastfeeding mother) eat this! I specifically asked about it. First statement: "Alcohol only in the tiramisu." Second statement: "Alcohol is in all three desserts." Third statement: "Only in the tiramisu and the cinnamon parfait." A complete disgrace for children, pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and recovering alcoholics!!

Unbelievable. It wasn't stated anywhere that the desserts contained alcohol. After we asked the waiters, and they specifically inquired in the kitchen, we were told that only the teramisu (1 of the 3) contained alcohol. The children and the breastfeeding mother ate the supposedly non-alcoholic desserts. However, the alcohol was tasted in a supposedly non-alcoholic dessert. We asked again, and it turned out that there is alcohol in everything. This is absurd and completely unacceptable. This endangers the health of small children, and a child can no longer be fed by its mother. The "boss" can't do anything and was completely rude and unsympathetic. The only vegetarian options were side dishes.

A very nice restaurant with friendly, attentive service. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The prices are reasonable. There are plenty of restrooms and they're in good condition, and there's also supposed to be a wheelchair-accessible restroom. The ox cheeks were excellently braised, and the sauce was divine. This won't be our last visit. Highly recommended.

We went to Amber's Restaurant in Hilden for the fish buffet. The buffet had a large selection of fresh fish and delicious side dishes, so there was something for every taste. All in all, we highly recommend a visit and are already looking forward to our next visit!

We went there as a group for Sunday brunch. A very pleasant atmosphere, courteous staff, and a very tasty and high-quality selection!

We like to visit Amber’s Sunday brunch. A large selection of breakfast and lunch dishes is offered here. Finally, dessert with a small espresso. We are always very satisfied here and are happy to come back again and again.

The Food is delicious! I had there the best Schnitzel ever!

Wir waren heute von den Schwiegereltern zum Weihnachtsbrunch für 33€ statt sonst 22,50€ eingeladen, selbstverständlich ohne Getränke. Das Brunch wurde bis 14 Uhr angesetzt, wir aus Köln kommend waren um 12.30 Uhr da. Das Buffet war so was von leer, von den versprochenen Wildgerichten gar nichts mehr zu sehen, aber selbst auch die magenfüllenden Basic, wie Klösse, Rotkohl, Spätzle etc, waren nicht vorhanden. Es lag der Rest von einer Lachsseite, die abgegessen war in der Gegend rum und wurde auch nicht abgeräumt. Resümee: Habe heute für 33€ ein 5 Mark großes Stück Kartoffelgratin in kalt, einen Esslöffel Spätzle in kalt bekommen. Von Fleisch nichts zu sehen. Ich kann verstehen wenn ein Gastronom Geld verdienen möchte, aber so nicht, das ist Abzocke! Es waren über 100 Besucher da und alle hatten eine Anzahlung leisten müssen.

Ate here on a fixed menu basis. We had soup for starters, which was excellent. For our main course we had pork escalopes with small fried potatoes and a fried egg.. the meal was masi eland once I had got over the fact that the meal was greasy we enjoyed. It. The dessert was cherries and some sort of cream, unfortunately I discovered a hair in my dessert and I informed the staff and it was quickly changed. The staff were very busy, but friendly and efficient. I would recommend having a meal here as the 3 course set meal was very good value f.or money.

Sobald man in den Fahrstuhl steigt fängt die Zeitreise an. Zimmer sehr klein für den sehr sportlichen Preis. Zi. 310 kein richtiges Fenster, nur ein Schlitz. Um zu öffnen muss man ein Treppchen nutzen. Uralter Teppich, nicht sauber gesaugt in den Ecken. Ganz heftig: das lächerlich dünne Kopfkissen. Sehr hellhörig. Aus meiner Sicht nicht empfehlenswert. Hoher Renovierungsbedarf.

Buen desayuno. Restaurante y hotel de ambiente poco de moda. Buena ubicación junto al centro de Hilden.
