Amadeus, Pizza und Fast Food in Cottbus

Delicious pizza, friendly service. Nothing to complain about, keep it up!

We had already given up because we hadn't found anything in Cottbus that really appealed to us. The U-Boot was our last choice because it was close to our hotel. But it turned out to be the best choice. We went right at the beginning of opening hours at 5:00 PM and managed to get a free table. Otherwise, a reservation is definitely recommended, even for two people. Our visit was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The rooms are absolutely harmonious. The entire interior is perfectly coordinated, and the tables are positioned so that there is sufficient distance from other tables. This concept even extends to the restrooms. The food we chose was just as harmonious. I chose the venison goulash from the seasonal menu and a matching red wine, and for dessert, the pancakes. The main course was absolutely sufficient and filling. The taste was absolutely perfect and spot on. The meat was tender, the pumpkin was perfectly cooked, and the dumplings were slightly crispy. The second pancake was packed for me. Contrary to expectations, the bill was even slightly lower than at similar restaurants. We can highly recommend the U-Boot and will definitely return. At the same time, a larger group from a sports club was dining next door to us. I would definitely describe them as demanding guests. Here, too, the service was truly outstanding and remained friendly and professional.

We were a group of 11 and, as always, everything went perfectly. Everyone was served their food at the same time, even though the restaurant was completely full. The price was also reasonable.

It's basically a pub like you'd imagine. A bar, large tables, two vending machines, dartboards, a TV. Everything's fine. What bothered me was the proximity to the tram, and even worse: €5.20 for a wheat beer? Sorry, but that's the reason I won't be going there again.

The food was fine and the portions were generous. What we didn't like was the restaurant owner. He was extremely loud and at times completely over the top. He didn't even thank the next table for their tip, and the way he treated his employees like dogs, whistling at them, was absolutely unacceptable and simply wrong. It was a one-time visit for us.
