Ama Deli in Schorndorf

Wir waren an einem Sonntag Nachmittag vor Ort, das Café war gut besucht, aber nicht voll. Nach 20 Minuten kam der bestellte Kaffee von einer sehr schlecht gelaunten Bedienung. Die vergessene Milch kam danach auch irgendwann. Nachdem der Kaffee ausgetrunken war und von dem bestellten Kuchen immer noch nichts in Sicht war, baten wir darum, zu zahlen. Die Begründung, dass der Kuchen gerne zum Kaffee genommen wird, hat der ohnehin schon schlecht gelaunten Bedienung dann offenbar den Rest gegeben. Sie drehte ab und ließ uns ohne jeglichen Abschiedsgruß sitzen. Wir hoffen sehr, dass es nicht die Eigentümerin war, ansonsten macht eine bessere Auswahl beim Personal sicher Sinn.

Ein absolutes Geschmackserlebnis!Ich waren am heutigen Feiertag 4.6 zum ersten Mal hier und bin restlos begeistert. Die Omeletts sind der absolute Wahnsinn – super fluffig, perfekt gewürzt und mit frischen Zutaten zubereitet, die man wirklich schmeckt. Auch der Deli Toast ist ein Traum: außen herrlich knusprig, innen weich und unglaublich lecker belegt.Ein riesiges Kompliment geht an den Koch! Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit Leidenschaft, Können und Liebe zum Detail gearbeitet wird. Er hat unsere Gerichte nicht nur extrem schnell, sondern auch optisch wunderschön angerichtet an den Tisch geschickt. Die Qualität der Speisen ist hervorragend und absolut empfehlenswert. Wer ein fantastisches Frühstück oder einen tollen Brunch sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Ich komme definitiv wieder! Die große Terrasse ein Traum nur das Wetter machte uns ein Strich in die Rechnung.

Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt leider nicht so ganz. Haben zwar auf Rückfrage nochmal zusätzlich Brot erhalten, aber Wurst und Käse hätte für das gezahlte Geld etwas mehr sein dürfen. Ambiente war OK.

Sehr frisches und schmackhaftes Essen. Der Rüblikuchen ist der Beste. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

Man sitzt ganz wunderbar am Markt im Ama Deli und kann dem bunten Treiben auf dem Markt zuschauen. Die Stühle sind bequem und im Moment gibt es noch Decken. Der Service war sehr freundlich und schnell, obwohl draußen alle Plätze besetzt waren. Allerdings hatte das Frühstück für uns einen sehr bitteren Nachgeschmack. Daher Bitte Aufpassen und unbedingt auf das Kleingedruckte in der Karte achten! Das Markt Frühstück zum Teilen für Zwei kostet 29€ und nicht nur 16,50€. In Worten Neunundzwanzig. Dieser Preis ist nicht realistisch. Vor allem wenn man sich die Fotos von der Platte mit dem Marktfrühstück für eine Person ansieht. Da war auf unserer Platte für zwei Personen nicht viel mehr drauf. Was den doppelten Preis rechtfertigen würde. Es waren für 2 Personen 1 Scheibe Brot und 1 Brötchen und ein winziges Stück Butter ca. 30 g. Die beiden Brötchen mussten wir extra anfordern. Der O Saft kam etwas später. Die Beilagen waren sehr hochwertig und frisch. Italienische Landsalami, gekochter Schinken, hausgemachtes Putenroastbeef, Schweizer Bauernkäse, Allgäuer Bergkäse, Camembert, Lachs Spread, Butter, Marmelade. Garniert mit Paprika und Karottenstreifen. Man konnte zwischen einem Glas frisch gepresstem Orangensaft oder Ama Deli Sekt rosé wählen. Der Kaffee hat extra gekostet. Im Schnitt 4,50€ für eine Kaffeespezialität. Insgesamt haben wir um die 38€ für ein Frühstück bezahlt. Das fanden wir jetzt etwas überzogen. Eine riesige Vorspeisenplatte beim Edel-Italiener kostet keine 16€. Überzeugt euch auf dem Foto davon.

Die Zimtschnecke und der Rüblikuchen, ein Traum 😍

Meine Mutter war gestern mit einer Freundin etwa eine halbe Stunde vor Ladenschluss bei Ihnen im Cafe und wollte noch einen Kaffee trinken. Sie haben höflich gefragt, ob sie sich noch kurz nach oben setzen dürfen. Daraufhin kam von einem Mitarbeiter (mit Tattoo am Hals) die Aussage: „Er geht jetzt nicht mehr für uns nach oben.“ Er hat bei anderen Fragen einen sehr unfreundlichen Ton gehabt. Diese Formulierungen sind aus meiner Sicht sehr respektlos und unangemessen. Es wäre absolut verständlich gewesen, freundlich darauf hinzuweisen, dass es zeitlich nicht mehr möglich ist oder dass der Laden bald schließt , aber der Ton macht hier den Unterschied. Besonders schade ist das, weil Ihr Cafe wirklich sehr schön ist. Die Atmosphäre ist angenehm, die Torten sind lecker und insgesamt macht der Laden einen sehr guten Eindruck. Umso wichtiger finde ich, dass auch der Service diesem Niveau entspricht. Ich würde mir wünschen, dass solche Situationen intern angesprochen werden, damit Gäste künftig respektvoll behandelt werden. Waren zum Frühstücken hier. Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Essen gut und schmackhaft. Was wirklich schlecht ist: Man sitzt im Eingangsbereich wirklich im kalten Zug. Wenn die Türe aufgeht - sehr unangenehm 😵‍💫 Hier würde ein entsprechender Vorhang als Windschutz helfen!

Bin öfters dort undxes ist immer wieder lecker, ob Kuchen oder herzhaft. Es schmeckt immer allen.

Ein wunderbares Café! Ich war mit meinem Kind dort, wir tranken Kakao mit Kuchen. Alles war köstlich! Gemütliche Atmosphäre. Freundliches Personal. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Simply great cafe and snack bar. Everything is right there. The Träubleskuchen is really great! Unfortunately only Fri-Sun. and while stocks last. I hope it stays in Schorndorf for a long time.

Sorry an den hippen Kellner, dass man auf der Karte im Handy nicht alles gesehen hat! (Sorry, dass ich deshalb so dumm war und um 14 Uhr ein Rührei bestellen wollte ) Und die Bedienungen unfähig waren, 15 Minuten lang eine ordentliche Karte zu geben, waren ja zu 3 mit dem Nachbartisch beschäftigt … Nachdem man eine Karte hingeworfen hatte, war wieder 10 Minuten keiner fähig, eine Bestellung aufzunehmen! Sind dann lieber gegangen, weil Geld benötigt hier ja niemand …

Sorry, sie lernen es einfach nicht, freundlich mit den Gästen zu sprechen (Kaffeebar). Dumme Sprüche sind gegenüber zahlenden Gästen eher unangebracht.

Habe den Avocado-Toast gegessen und es war sooo Lecker. Durch die Menge an Gästen wurde es mir und meiner Tante dann zu laut und wir haben das Lokal früher als nötig verlassen deshalb 2 Sterne abzug.

Sehr enttäuscht. Wir waren öfter zum Kaffee und Kuchen da und war sehr gut, viele Gutscheine gekauft zu verschenken… Wir haben dann das Frühstück probiert, und leider können wir das garnicht empfehlen. Vertrocknetes Gemüse, schleimige Gurke, und eine abgebissene Salami. Und mir wurde nur mit Ironie Recht gegeben, kein Entschuldigung und natürlich volle Preise bezahlt. Sehr sehr schade…

Ich hatte für einen Geburtstag . Leider war keine Dekoration keine kleine Aufmerksamkeit auf dem Tisch . Schade .

Großartiges Ambiente, großartiges Essen, großartige Leute! Wann immer wir in Baden-Württemberg sind, müssen wir unbedingt vorbei! Die Kuchen sind ein Traum, großes Kompliment an die Bäckerin, die alle Torten und Kuchen selber macht.

Kalt wirkend und unfreundlicher Service

Gutes Frühstück, viel Auswahl. Echt lecker

überteuert und unentspannt.... Ein Gedeck für 2 Personen zum Pres von 28 € (ohne Kaffee!) wird serviert mit Brotkorb, Dessen Inhalt sind 1x Laugenbrötchen und 1x anderes Brötchen, sowie 4 halbe, kleinere Brotscheiben. Die längliche Platte ist optisch eher spärlich u.a. mit Wurst,Minikäsescheiben und Gemüsestreifen bedeckt. Auf Nachfrage erklärt man mir, dass, um Reste zu vermeiden, die Auswahl nur klein serviert wird, aber bei Bedarf ohne weitere Berechnung ergänzt wird. Grundidee nicht schlecht, finde ich. Aber die Idee mancher Wettbewerber, einfach eine Tüte zum anschl. Reste mitnehmen dazuzulegen, ist deutlich besser. Ich möchte mit Auswahl frühstücken und nicht ständig nachfragen, nur damit die zweite Person auch ein gleiches Brötchen oder eine Gurke bekommt, auch wenn Teilen im Sinne des Martinstages angesagt ist.

Im Ama Deli kann man sowohl drinnen als auch draußen gut sitzen. Gute Kuchen, sehr guter Kaffee und netter Service.

Wir waren dort öfter zum Kaffee und Kuchen dort und die Kuchen sind sehr lecker. Heute Mal das Frühstück probiert, was auch sehr lecker ist und frisch zubereitet wird. Die Bedienung ist immer zu freundlich und zuvorkommend! Das einzige was mir da nicht so gefällt ist der Kaffee. Ich würde mir einen hochwertigeren Kaffee aus der Siebträger maschine wünschen, was dann das ganze perfekt machen würde. Trotzdem weiter so, ich komme wieder 👍

Sehr freundlicher Personal, schönes Ambiente. Der Kaffee schmeckt hervorragend, und meine Sonderwünsche (koffeinfrei mit Hafermilch) wurden mir mit einem leckeren Cappuccino gebracht. Die Kürbissuppe ist auch sehr zu empfehlen, geschmacklich und optisch, nicht überwürzt, mit wenig Salz. Die Zimtschnecke war positiv überraschend wenig süß. Schade, dass wir nur auf der Durchreise waren und somit nicht so schnell wieder kommen können!

Bad cappuccino, bad service People who had breakfast instead of just a cappuccino were politely asked if everything was okay and served. I can't imagine the unfriendly, rude service being anything other than them wanting to quickly make room for customers who were buying more. Furthermore, the cappuccino was too hot.

WOW... Great deli with the most delicious cakes and excellent food – freshly prepared right before our eyes :-) Courteous, efficient staff, just what you'd expect as a customer! We'd be happy to come back!

I had a wonderful breakfast at Ama Deli this morning! The food was delicious and fresh, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I especially enjoyed the delicious Mediterranean hummus side dishes, which went perfectly with my breakfast. But what really impressed me was the professional and friendly service from Tatjana, our waitress. Even though the place was very busy, she served us with a smile and a positive attitude. She was very attentive and took care of our every need, never once making us feel neglected. I highly recommend Ama Deli and will certainly return! Five stars for Tatjana and the entire team!

A hearty, delicious breakfast. We highly recommend it. I particularly enjoyed the radish cream cheese and the salmon, and the "cold" cappuccino was just what we needed in these temperatures.

Cozy shop, the atmosphere is good and the outdoor seating is good, the menu has a cool design. The food itself, unfortunately, doesn't have a huge selection and the price-performance ratio isn't that great. But for a relaxing lunch in the sun, it's definitely worth it. And the service is very nice too. Update: the stars have gone down. It's happening more and more often that the food service is stopped because of visitors, so that there are only cakes. This has been happening too often lately. The only positive point is the delicious grapefruit vanilla drink. Update: the more often you come here, the worse the shop becomes, as if unfriendliness is being trained here or that is the shop's motto. Cakes are still delicious but I'm speechless about the service. Update: as a regular customer, it's getting too much for me, so much unfriendliness from always different waiters, and then things like this all the time, kitchen closes on a whim, what's that all about??? Why do you make statements like that on your website if you don't stick to them and you don't care about your customers? I'm really angry. You have the best carrot cake, your food is delicious, but working according to your mood is a no-go. Maybe that's why your prices are so high for the poor service. Always fresh, delicious food and homemade delicious cakes. Menu plus changing daily meals. Staff always professional and courteous. Pleasant atmosphere. Good location on the market square. Possibility to sit outside. Consistent quality. Toilet not yet tested. Can be booked online via Open Table. The only drawback for me is that there is no internet reception indoors. I really enjoy going to Ama Deli, whether for coffee and cake or for lunch.

We were in a group at the outdoor seating area on the market square and had coffee, orange juice, and various cakes. Everything was great! I highly recommend this café, especially outside when the weather's nice.

Great location with comfortable furnishings unfortunately doesn't invite you to linger. Service is subpar, as is the quality of the ingredients used. I had a cheese and ham toast: used the cheapest ham and carelessly threw a decoration of cucumber/pepper/lettuce on it. My wife had an avocado bread. We noticed that the avocado was no longer the freshest (dark expired, very soft, inedible) and we complained about this. Instead of responding to the customers, you start a loud discussion in the restaurant with the customer and 5 minutes later with your own kitchen, which could be heard throughout the restaurant. In short, ok for a coffee to go or a quick drink, otherwise I would avoid this location!

Bestellung dauerten sehr lange bis sie am Tisch waren, dadurch Kaffe kalt, genauso wie das Rührei, dass ca 30 Min nach Bestellung an den Tisch kam und leider auch kalt war…..

The best cakes far beyond Schorndorf. Very well seasoned with lemon. We only buy our cooking/cake here.

We had a market breakfast for two and both the quality and quantity of the food were disappointing. The food appeared to be of poor quality and was served in too small portions, which in my opinion did not correspond to the price of 29 euros. Additionally, during our visit the person in charge was very unfriendly and seemed quite arrogant, which made the experience even more unpleasant. I really appreciate the atmosphere and concept of the restaurant, and I'm sure that this is not the standard that is aimed for.

It was my first time here and I was really impressed with the store. The food was very good, the waitress came every now and then to ask if everything was OK and was very friendly. I will stop here again next time I visit Schorndorf.

Great ambience, great view. The cappuccino, however, was pretty scalded, so I had to leave it alone. A small amount of tap water with coffee cost 2 euros extra (was not communicated), oat milk instead of cow's milk cost 1 euro extra. Small bitter coffee specialty for a bitter, unnecessary 6.50 in a pleasant atmosphere.

We are here almost every week, which makes it all the more incomprehensible and annoying to wait outside for 10 minutes for the condition, only to find out after ordering that we can no longer get an omelet because it is 4 minutes past 12 and there are only egg dishes until 12. Chapeau

Really nice shop, I always enjoy coming. However, I had to pay 3 euros for tap water without this being communicated in advance, which is a real shame. I even ordered something to go with it, I really just wanted a sip of water. It's generally a shame to charge money for tap water, but 3 euros for 0.4 liters is really outrageous. When I passed this on to the waitress, she didn't say anything about it. It's a shame, I won't come again in the future.

I have often been a guest at Ama Deli. Every time I was very satisfied. All dishes are prepared with fresh and best ingredients. Price-performance is great, because as far as I can tell, a lot of things are made in-house at Ama Deli (cakes, jam, spaetzle, etc.). The employees are friendly, attentive and courteous at all times, no matter how busy it is.

City market in wonderful weather. It should be clear to everyone that many visitors are coming. The number of tables should then be adapted to the staffing. It wasn't in any way. Frustration among guests AND staff. Was our last visit there.

The service ladies certainly can't help it if they have to serve over 50 people in pairs. The criticism is aimed at the upper floor. 45 minutes waiting time for an order of 1x beer, 1x juice - that's absolutely a no go 👎

We wanted to drink coffee and eat cake outside. After we weren't served for 20 minutes, I got the menu myself and we were promptly asked what we would like to eat. Then we waited again until the drinks finally came. And after another 20 minutes our cake even arrived (it was delicious). What we noticed, however, was that all tables initially only received drinks and much later the rest of the order. After each order was taken, the waitress disappeared indoors, even though there were a lot of new guests arriving, instead of taking all the orders at the same time. Time management?

Apparently you don't get served here. After being ignored for 30 minutes now, I decided to leave. This has never happened to me before. Impossible!!

A group of mothers is probably not that welcome. At least at first they wanted us outside rather than inside 😅.. the café itself is beautifully decorated, the cinnamon roll and the cappuccino are delicious.. However, the man from the service was a bit confused. Not when ordering I listened properly and it would be better to use a calculator when collecting money. €7.50 for a 0.4 liter of water is outrageous, even with our well-known inflation. It's a shame 🤷‍♀️

First time there, cozy location on the market square. Comfortable seating inside and out. Staff very friendly and attentive. Marketplace breakfast nicely prepared. Sufficient ham, salami, cheese with grapes and vegetable sticks, rolls, bread, jam and salmon cream, orange juice or sparkling wine. Coffee is extra, but still completely ok for the quality. Coffee/cappuccino very, very good. Fresh daily offering of various home-baked cakes, cinnamon rolls and tarts. Cinnamon rolls on site - a real treat. Top! We took some cake with us to take home in the afternoon or the next day. Dear AmaDeli team, keep it up! We'd love to come back.

We were there this afternoon and wanted to order a salad. However, the boss informed us that there was no more salad at that time. He made it possible after all. We ordered without yoghurt dressing and that was forgotten when it was served and corrected immediately, which we thought was really great. When we were attacked by wasps, the waitress came and invited us to go inside. She also helped us take everything we thought was really great. The salad was really tasty and we felt very comfortable there. When paying, the waitress apologized several times for the "wrong" order and offered us a coffee in return, which made us very happy. We will definitely come back and can wholeheartedly recommend Ama Deli.

Went there for breakfast, market breakfast for two people. I found out about the cheese (ripened for 6 months) because I said that the edge was already quite bent up and dry. The apple slices on the plate were already brown and the grapes were scattered all over them. Maybe it would be nicer if you left them on the stem. Carrot and kohlrabi sticks: each was only available in a one-off version, not so great on a plate for two. Bread basket sufficient for two people, but not enough butter. Jam in a small jar: indefinable because it's completely liquid (I thought it was a sauce for the two vegetable sticks). Overall: disappointing for 29 euros.

Visited here for breakfast on market day and we were not disappointed. Had the German market breakfast complete with a cheeky Prosecco. Sat on the square to eat it watching the bustling market in front of us. Superb. Staff were excellent too.

We wanted to have a hearty breakfast and were unfortunately disappointed. The pictures from social networks promise more than you get. The ambience is okay, the counter area is inviting, the seating is nothing extraordinary - hence only 3 stars. You can't say anything against the service - our service was quick and competent. Also very friendly. Hence the full stars!! But let's get to the main point - we ordered breakfast for 2 - 29 euros for 5 grapes, 1 sliced ​​strawberry, packaged sausage (Italian country salami... etc.) - and that wasn't even nicely presented - it's just too much. The tastiest thing about it was that there was a glass of sparkling wine - which was included in the price (or a glass of orange juice). Not even a cup of coffee/tea - that had to be ordered separately. We expected a little more from breakfast. Maybe we'll make a second attempt at lunch - but we won't actually come back for breakfast. Since we come from the catering industry ourselves, we know what it means to satisfy the guests - here it was definitely not worth the price.

Wir waren am Sonntag Vormittag auf der sonnigen Terrasse und waren rundum gut betreut. Unser Kellner war sehr freundlich aber nicht aufdringlich, das Essen (besonders die Zimtschnecke hats mir angetan) war noch warm und frisch zubereitet. Auch das Avocadobrot kann ich sehr empfehlen. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder. Alles Gute!

Unfortunately, the cheese spaetzle was just below average. The price charged is disproportionate to the quality. Lots of cream, little mountain cheese. No comparison to what you get in the dish's southern German home regions. Convenience or fresh? The espresso and the Zomtschbecke were good. The location and the ambience are very nice.

The place is a 1a location and the waitress is very nice!! Unfortunately the asparagus soup was quite disappointing: very thin, it tasted like asparagus, but there was no trace of asparagus, quite disappointing for €7!! Feedback was also given directly on site!!

Ich habe dieses Lokal ausgewählt weil auch Glutenfreies Essen angeboten wird. Trotz vorherigem Eintrag bei OpenTable mit dem Hinweis Glutenfreies und Laktosefreies Essen zu bekommen wurde ich nicht zufrieden gestellt. Es gab keinerlei Gebäck/ Brot. Da ich die Autoimmun Erkrankung Zöliakie habe und sehr darauf achten muss nicht mal ein Gramm Gluten abzubekommen, war ich darüber sehr enttäuscht. Des Weiteren erwies sich der Chef als desinteressiert und arrogant. UNSER KELLNER WAS ERSTE KLASSE, sehr nett und kompetent, ihn möchte ich dafür nicht verantwortlich machen. Das Essen meiner Freundinnen war sehr gut.

Were there for breakfast. The dairyman's breakfast was filling and tasty, even if the cheese slices were cut so finely that you could see through them. Unfortunately the avocado bread was a flop, the bread was rock hard and only topped with a few avocado slices and the egg - for the price of €11 we expected more. There was also a golden latte which was quite ok. The service tried hard and carried on competently despite complaining guests - praise for that!

We ordered a latte and 2 large "freshly squeezed" orange juices. We give 1/5 stars because the latte was good. But: The “freshly” squeezed orange juices didn’t taste freshly squeezed. When we asked, we learned that the juice comes from a supplier who presses it and delivers it to the deli. Which means he can be up to three days old! After a short time, orange juice loses its typical taste and most of its vitamins. The next hammer came with the bill: €8.50 per glass!! For a stale juice low in vitamins. You can get 1l for 1.99 online and it tastes exactly the same. For us, usury and misleading. Lesson learned: From now on we will always ask everywhere whether the "freshly squeezed" Ojuice is freshly squeezed locally.

Coffee and cake were good! Order took a long time! Unfortunately the coffee came first and the cake came much later! Operation messed up...

Also ich muss schon sagen - für 1 Stück Apfelkuchen (der gut war) mit einem Klecks Sahne € 5,95 ist der Gipfel der Gefühle. So viel Preissteigerung kann es gar nicht geben!! Reine Abzocke - was sehr sehr schade ist.

Very friendly service and delicious dishes

Alles in allem schon zu empfehlen, nur sind die Preise inzwischen echt happig. Das Frühstück war lecker, hat jedoch bei dem Preis noch Luft nach oben. Der Käsekuchen war dafür der absolute Hammer! Noch nie so einen guten Kuchen gegessen! Trotzdem auch extrem überteuert - 5€ das Stück! (Gesamter Kuchen, 12 Stücke = 60€, finde ich heftig…da hat man ordentlich Gewinn gemacht in der Herstellung und Verkauf) Auch gibt es als Milchalternative nur Hafermilch. Da wünsche ich mir auch mehr Auswahl, vor allem laktosefreie Milch

I was here for breakfast with a group of 12 people. I made reservations several weeks in advance and since the majority of us eat vegetarian, I chose the dishes directly over the phone. I was assured that everything, including special requests, would be ready when we arrived. When we arrived, a table was reserved for us, but the food wasn't prepared, so we had to order a la carte. In the end everyone was full, but of course the waiting time was long in the hustle and bustle and we had to make do with what was on the menu. On average we paid €28 per person for breakfast, which I think is rather a lot for this offer. If reliability is required, I wouldn't come here again, but for a quick coffee, Ama Deli is fine.
