Altes Vogtshaus in Weil am Rhein

We stayed there overnight on our way to Italy and were very satisfied: nice, large room with Senseo coffee machine and refrigerator. The food in the associated tavern was delicious. The location is ideal for continuing your journey early in the morning. The pension owner was very nice, absolute recommendation 👍

Very nice location with very nice staff. The kitchen is a dream if you like Rösti. Tip: call ahead and reserve a table.

That old and fat woman was very rude.

A stopover on the way to Italy. A great overnight stay. No breakfast is provided, but Senseo mi pods and milk are available in the room. There's also a small fridge with two bottles of water. Dinner at the Vogtskeller restaurant. Highly recommended. Homemade rösti.

Neat hotel. Very kindly received by the owner. Clean room and decent bathroom. The four of us slept in a room. The double bed was excellent. The sofa bed is suitable for people up to approximately 1.75m. This option is less suitable for tall children/adults.

Al paar keer geweest op doorreis naar Zwitserland of Italië. Leuke plek en gastvrije eigenaar. Leuk om een lekker pint te drinken in het restaurant. Enige minpunt is de kerkklok die elke 15 minuten slaat.

Second year we make a stop over in this village, at this guest house on our way back to Italy from Champagne. Unfortunately, situation did not improve. Room & bathroom clean & large, bed wide & comfortable. But TV set not working, & despite the hugest heat wave in several centuries just a small ventilator was moving hot air within the room. Not considering the fact that insect nets were protecting just room windows, not the bathroom one, so we were eaten all night long by thirsty mosquitos. I understand, air conditioning is NOT a part of popular culture north of Alps, but world is changing & updating is obligatory, not an option. And for a price over 100 euros for a room, even without breakfast, something more is now needed.

Sehr gutes bürgerliches Essen. Beste Rösti weit und breit. Nette, geschützte Gartenwietschaft. Freundliche Bedienung. Sehr zu empfehlen☝️

Sehr stilvolle kleine Wirtschaft in einem Gewölbekeller. Gute deutsche Küche und diverse Fondues, große Portionen, angemessener Preis. Nettes Personal.
