A very good place to eat and relax. It's very popular, as it still serves delicious, home-style German food. A wide selection at reasonable prices. The service is very attentive and friendly. Respectful, even when the place is full. Highly recommended!

The restaurant is very nice overall, especially inside. The prices are reasonable, too. However, the coffee selection, specifically cakes and ice cream, could be a bit more extensive. For example, an iced coffee should really be a standard on every menu.

Unfortunately, not all of the food is homemade, but it's still delicious and reasonably priced. The schnitzel isn't too small. That evening, the server was alone and quite overwhelmed, which made paying difficult. The restaurant definitely has a welcoming, cozy charm. I'd be happy to come back.

Solid German cuisine. The taste is absolutely fine at a just about reasonable price... Furnishings and equipment are ok, but a renovation would be appropriate soon. Staff friendly, card payment was not possible during our visit, which is absolutely out of the question in 2024... We have now reached the point where it would be possible to pay with cryptocurrency, but I wanted to avoid the question marks in the eyes of the waitress... It's a shame, absolutely not appropriate in 2024 and I don't support tax evasion. But food was ok.

Well, I have to say up front that I'm a bit picky about German cuisine, but not particularly demanding. We were visiting Pritzwalk and were hungry, so we ended up there. The shop itself is clean and, with its rustic ambiance, makes a good impression. The temperature was a bit too cold for us. Almost all the tables were occupied, and the only waitress was probably a bit stressed, but she was still nice. I think she also had to help out in the kitchen, as she disappeared so often and for long periods of time. We had spiced meat and tomato soup to start with, and it was delicious, but it took quite a while to arrive. For the main course, we had duck leg with Brussels sprouts, dumplings, and a roulade, red cabbage, and dumplings. It was OK, but there could have been more. Duck dish - the duck skin was flabby (not crispy), and the sauce was quite thick and tasted run-of-the-mill. The dumplings were great, the Brussels sprouts could have been pimped up a bit (butter flakes, nutmeg, for example). The roulade dish – the dumplings were also great, the red cabbage had a bit too much pepper, the two mini roulades were hmm... One filling was a mixture of minced meat and liverwurst?? I don't know, the other was quite classic. The meat was laser-cut wafer-thin, indicating that they weren't homemade. The taste was OK, but nothing more. I would assume that both the duck and the roulades are convenience products. There's definitely room for improvement, but as I mentioned at the beginning, I'm a bit spoiled when it comes to German cuisine. We give it 3 stars plus. P.S. Why isn't there anything with kale or knieperkohl at Christmas time?? We'll check it out again next year anyway, maybe there will be even more stars then.

We had a great evening in the Alte Marktschenke. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was also amazing, I have rarely eaten such good seasoned meat and my game goulash was also indescribably tender. So in terms of taste it was an absolute hit. The portions are sufficient and the prices are reasonable. Anyone traveling in Pritzwalk and the surrounding area should stop here.

Very good cuisine, everything is freshly cooked and tasty. Friendly service. I ate zander on pan-fried vegetables with fried potatoes. It was really great.

Nettes Restaurant in der Innenstadt. Gemütliches, angenehmes Ambiente. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam. Die Preise sind nicht unbedingt Sonderangebote, die Portionen allerdings reichhaltig. Angeboten wird schmackhafte regionale Hausmannskost, wobei das keineswegs abwertend gemeint ist. Wir kommen gerne wieder, auch wenn wir nicht verstehen können, dass keine Kartenzahlung möglich ist. Dafür zwei Sterne Abzug beim Service.

Schnitzel 10 Punkte! Bratkartoffeln 10 Punkte! Gemüse... naja 5 Punkte - aber der Service hat diese Kritik wieder auf 10 Punkte gehoben! Wir waren begeistert, ehrliches Essen das einfach gut ist. PS an den Service : Danke für den Hinweis, ob wir ein wenig Zeit mitgebracht haben - aber wir hatten innerhalb von 30 Min unser Essen. Der Zusatz "aber es wird sich lohnen " könnt ihr wirklich dazu sagen.

Waren heute (Donnerstag) um 20:30 Uhr dort und laut ihrer Internetseite und Google haben sie bis 22 Uhr offen. Die Dame meinte aber, sie habe jetzt Feierabend obwohl draußen noch ca 10 Leute saßen. Prinzipiell kein Problem, aber dann passt bitte die Öffnungszeiten bei eurer Seite an. Würde man sich Benzin und Zeit sparen

Wir versuchen mindestes zwei mal im Jahr dort zu sein. Leckeres Essen (das Schnitzel ist besonders gut) und wirklich sehr freundliche Bedienung. Preislich in Ordnung und sehr sauber. Was will man mehr?! Bitte weiter so

Mir gefiel die Zitrone im Wasserglas. Das Essen war lecker, im Zanderfilet vielleicht ein paar Gräten zu viel aber das Grillgemüse dazu war top. Absolut zu empfehlen: das hausgemachte Rague Fin Sehr freundliche Bedienung und ein sehr schönes Ambiente. Der Gastraum sieht sehr schön und repräsentativ aus - selten so ein schönes Restaurant gesehen.

Man sitzt zur Hochzeit am Freitag bei strahlendem Sonnenschein auf einer leeren Terrasse. Wartet über 15 Minuten auf das nächste Getränk - im Hintergrund rollt ein Strohballen. Irgendwo bellt ein Hund.

Essen: Spargel war verkocht und weit weg von knackig. Die Kartoffeln leider auch nicht frisch. Dafür war die Solianka sehr lecker. Service: freundlich aber etwas zu aufmerksam.....was wohl daran lag, dass es sehr leer war.

Es ist vorteilhaft, vorher anzurufen und Plätze zu bestellen. Da die Gaststätte relativ klein ist, das Essen sehr gut schmeckt und der Service sehr freundlich und gut ist, ist sie gut besucht. Ich komme gern her und fühle mich jedes Mal wohl.
