Alsterlagune in Hamburg

Great location with fantastic views! The ambience is very acceptable, although there was no table linen, which is somewhat unusual for a restaurant of this price range. The food was very well prepared, fish was excellent, vegetables were unfortunately cold and the salad, which was crisp and fresh, was pretty much killed off with an American dressing. A lighter herb-yogurt sauce would have been nicer with the fine fish. Drink was delivered with ice cubes without asking, at 5 degrees outside temperature - you can guess why. The service was a bit cool, but ok, seemed slightly annoyed, maybe there was stress beforehand. What is not possible is that no credit card or ATM card is accepted for payment. It was pointed out that it was written that you only take EC cards, but, people, they're almost no longer available! Everyone gets their new EC card automatically with a debit card function and then you don't accept it? In the middle of a tourist town in this location, it's impossible not to accept credit cards, so you can just sink your ATM machine into the Alster! Or the waitress asks everyone before they order whether they haven't gotten a new debit card recently. This is really embarrassing for such a great restaurant.

We came to Germany from the UK for a few days and we came here for lunch the food was very nice and the staff very good.

Excellent cuisine with super friendly staff, the view is fantastic, unfortunately we were there in winter, but sitting on the terrace in summer is definitely wonderful.

!!!Outstanding fish!!! There was a large selection of fish dishes, which the waiter presented to us in German and English (for our companions). At the waiter's recommendation, I had the panfish platter with several types of fish from salmon, redfish and zander. The fish were all perfectly seasoned and tender. For me personally the pike perch was the best. There were also fried potato cubes, which I liked could have been fried a little longer, but were still very tasty. There was also an indescribably delicious, gentle mustard sauce and a salad with fresh, warm baguette slices. I've only rarely had really good food, and I also rarely eat fish, as I've had good fish even more rarely. But this meal was one of the best I've had in a restaurant. Big thanks to the cook. There is a small deduction for the service, as unfortunately during lunchtime the employees brought furniture in from outside and this meant that some of the cold came in. The waiter kept making sure that the door was closed. Thank you for the culinary experience and the service. Very, very happy again.

The Alsterlagune restaurant impresses with friendly, attentive service and delicious food that is freshly prepared and tastes excellent. The fantastic view of the Alster is particularly impressive, making the entire experience unforgettable. A perfect combination of enjoyment and atmosphere – we look forward to our next visit!

Really nice location, very nice service but horrible pizza, really the worst pizza I've ever eaten. And absolutely overpriced. But in the end we got paid a ton for the annoyances.

The food did not taste fresh. The portions were big and they had also a salad in price. It was not something special contrary very basic. I would recommend to drink something there and take a salad or some appetizers or a pizza while drinking something.

We celebrated our wedding in the Alster lagoon last weekend. The staff is extremely courteous and friendly. The food buffet was extremely tasty. The location is an absolute dream! Thank you for this wonderful day/evening.

Service was very attentive, the atmosphere was very nice (right on the water), but unfortunately we didn't like the pizza at all. Not comparable to a good Italian.

Both the food and the ambience and atmosphere were very appealing. Unfortunately, the service, especially from one of the service staff, left a lot to be desired. She seemed cold and annoyed. A concrete example: When my friend politely asked if it was possible to charge his cell phone, she simply pointed us towards a corner and said we could find a socket there. For a restaurant of this level, such behavior is extremely unprofessional and unfriendly.

I came from Istanbul for a holiday and we came to Alsterlagune with my girlfriend as a venue. I am a chef in Istanbul, I liked your food very much, but the waitress was very indifferent and a sullen lady. I asked the girl where the socket was and her attitude was strange. Normally, I leave tringeld in every place I go to, but for the first time in my life, I did not give it to someone. She was a tall lady. Regards. If she reads the comment, she will remember us as my girlfriend. Regards, I even said "who ist Steckdose" to the girl in German and she replied "trump ist daaa" and when she brought the food, she spoke insincerely.

The food was good, and the male waiter was attentive. However, the female waitress seemed disengaged, appearing moody, tired, and avoiding eye contact. It felt as though she no longer wanted to be in the service industry or interact with people. This might stem from a management issue—typically, when management takes care of its staff, the staff, in turn, takes care of the customers. I hope she’s doing alright in the end.

Spaghetti aglio olio stuck together and, as can happen during preparation, was fried. A student shared apartment did a better job. Cocktails were good.

We had only drinks in this lovely boat restaurant. The view is amazing. The service was good and the waitress was kind.

We sat comfortably on the terrace and just had a drink. So I can't say anything about the food. The ambience on the former ship directly on the Inner Alster is certainly first-class and it wasn't as crowded as in other places. The waitress was very friendly and had time to chat with us. Definitely one of the most beautiful locations on the Binnenalster!

Food and location tip top. Unfortunately you can only pay with cash (no credit cards are accepted). This is no longer comprehensible to me today and in a tourist city; this costs points in the overall rating.

There were three of us eating there today as a family, unfortunately our pasta was only half cooked, the sauce didn't taste like anything and the prawns were terrible and had a very strange taste.. that for the main course.. we had the carpaccio as a starter It was half frozen...a shame...and finally we ordered a Coke and a Sprite, both of which were served to us without carbonation. The price for the food is absolutely unacceptable and people are outrageously willing to pay more for such a meal, but then you should also get reasonable food that justifies the price. When we told all of this to the boss there, we were only laughed at and, to top it off, asked if we wanted to take the food with us. Conclusion: the restaurant, which really has a great location but unfortunately the food is super bad, is absolutely not worth it. I would prefer to give zero stars if that were possible.

Great location, just in completely wrong hands! The service is completely out of place! All the glasses were empty and none of us were offered anything, the food was terrible, two meals were completely returned and were still charged, that was just too much and completely unfriendly. Too bad about the material!!! That was by far the worst thing that has happened to us recently! The toilets, you can't even pee standing up, they're so dirty! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, it wasn't worth a cent... never again!!! You should leave the thing to someone who really wants to do it... but you should do it!

During my trip to Hamburg, I went to this place for dinner and chose pizza. It was really nice, I recommend it. The waiter helped me with the selection. It was also nice to watch the sunset over the water.

A beautiful and really special restaurant. The food was incredibly tasty and, above all, filling for me as a heavy eater. All I can say about the service is: Very nice, courteous and attentive. I will gladly come again.

The restaurant failed on the most important point of evaluation. price/performance. We ordered some pretty expensive fish, which appeared to have been fried so much that it was dry. (Tourist are probably not wanted as guests, they do not accept any international credit cards.)

Coincidentally here on the first evening in Hamburg. It was beautiful and the fish was excellent.

We can't judge the food, but we can't recommend a Caipirinha, which looked nice but turned out to be carelessly thrown together sugar water and cost 14 euros. The staff was very friendly and couldn't help it.

I've been here a few times. Nice place to eat and drink, whether alone or with friends. The service could be nicer and smile sometimes. Too snooty.

Floating restaurant directly on the Binnenalster, terrace or covered, Italian cuisine, friendly service. Definitely the better alternative to "Alex", where the usher is an arrogant cheek. Can we recommend the Alster Lagoon? Why, surely!

Hello, today we happened to go on the “boat” Alster lagoon. From the outside it looks pretty inconspicuous. Inside it is very nicely decorated. You sit perfectly and have a very nice view over the Alster and the 4 seasons. We started with coffee and cake, homemade tiramisu... delicious. Then, due to the bad weather situation, we ordered something to eat... bruchetta, mozzarella and spagetti scampi... highly recommended. The service was excellent. A very friendly, hard-working service, thank you very much for that. We would love to come back and recommend the Alster Lagoon 100%.

Als wir das Restaurant betraten, wurden wir direkt freundlich empfangen und wurden zu einem freien Tisch begleitet. Uns ist am meisten die freundliche Kellnerin mit der Briffe aufgefallen. Der Service war sehr hilfsbereit und die Funktion, wo man einen Knopf für den Service drücken konnte fanden wir sehr praktisch! Vor allem war das Essen spektakulär und lecker! Wir bedanken uns vielmals bei der Alster Lagune und dem freundlichen Service! :-)

We ended up here by chance while circling the Binnenalter. You sit on the water level and have a great view. The service was excellent and friendly. The tiramisu and bruscetta we had was very tasty. I can really recommend the restaurant!

Probably the worst service ever. The woman who served us from the beginning of the conversation was rude, she spilled the coffee all over the tray and just left it there. When I asked her if she really thought I could drink this, considering I didn't order soup but coffee, she gave me a rude look without offering any solution!!! I asked for napkins which she literally threw in front of me... I really regret not asking for a new coffee, but I was truly shocked by the behavior of someone working in a restaurant towards a customer. I really think you need to pay attention to your employees when your place is nice, in a nice location. The price of the coffee was 5 euros, and it was from a machine. The other employees were nice, a guy served us with a smile and friendliness, but when the woman showed up and took the order, she definitely ruined my whole day. I wonder if she would drink that coffee?

We ended up here by chance. You enter the restaurant through a boat and then sit directly on the water. (Not barrier-free). We were there for coffee and cake, but the menu offers a very large selection of fish dishes. Service was very friendly and quick.

We arrived at 21:45 to the restaurant, the waiter has refused to let us eat there because - according to her - the restaurant will close in 30 minutes. Although I have shown their opening hours in Google which are 11am-11pm, she said that they don't have a fixed closing time anyway. Bad experience!

Nicely located on the Binnen Alster. The food is good.

Die Lage ist einfach schön; wir sassen urig im Schiff mit Alsterblick. Wir wurden sehr nett bedient. Das Essen war viel bessert als erwartet: Der Fisch (Hamburger Pannfisch) war frisch, große Portion, 3 Sorten Fisch; die Fischsuppe schmeckte auch sehr gut, der Fisch war auch hier ganz frisch. Wir kamen nach dem Besuch der Kunsthalle zum Mittagessen vorbei; das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für die Lage OK.

So neither the food nor the drinks are tasty! It's rather inedible to be honest! My s** on the beach had nothing to do with a cocktail at all. You only pay for the view! Please look for a decent restaurant on the side streets but not this one! Just kidding!

Great view of the Alster while eating. The food was very good and plentiful. The kitchen is flexible and served me a baked potato with the panfish instead of the fried potatoes provided.

Pizza doesn't taste good. Tastes like ready-made pizza on which you have spread a few diced onions and a few wilted rocket leaves to make it seem like it was freshly prepared. No oregano. The oil on the table smells rancid. Prices are high. The atmosphere is great. Important: be sure to check the invoice. Absolute tourist rip off. Charge more than stated on the card.

Ich hatte mir einen griechischen Salat ausgesucht. Der absolut mit Griechenland nichts zu tun hat. Die partytomaten hatten schon falten und waren weich die Kritik wurde angenommen aber keine Entschuldigung. So muss man nicht mit Touristen umgehen

Ich möchte mich gaaaaanz HERZLICH beim gesamten Team der Alsterlagune bedanken, die uns einen unvergesslichen Nachmittag ermöglicht haben. Spontan konnte ich für 24 Leute in dieser herrlichen Location zum Austausch von Adventskalendern buchen und uns wurden zwei Tischreihen à 12 Personen in einer gemütlichen Ecke bereitgestellt. Die Bedienung war fix und freundlich und das Essen sehr lecker!!!!! ☕🥧 Und die Lage auf dem Wasser mit der herrlichen Weihnachtsbeleuchtung hätte nicht schöner sein können. Definitiv alles in allem mehr als 5 Sterne 🙏🤩🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Wir hatten für die Betriebsweihnachtsfeier '23 die Alsterlagune gebucht. Der gesamte Abend war von Seiten des Veranstalters großartig. Der Empfang war freundlich und sehr aufgeschlossen. Der Service insgesamt war sehr angenehm und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente mit dem Ausblick auf die Binnenalster war ebenfalls sehr schön. Das Essen (Buffet) war lecker und die Auswahl war großzügig. Insgesamt ein sehr gelungener Abend. Vielen Dank 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Kleines feines Restaurant mit sehr freundlichem und kompetenten Personal. Sanitäre Anlagen sehr klein, ist halt ein Boot, aber top ! Das Essen nicht soo preiswert, aber sehr lecker 😋 absolut empfehlenswert!!!

Wir haben dort nur was getrunken aber super zum verweilen.

Wir waren in einer großen Gruppe vor Ort und die Vorspeisen, Weine und mein Rumpsteak waren hervorragend. Der Service hat sich auch sehr bemüht und hat den Abend zu einer gelungenen Erfahrung werden lassen. Ein hervorragendes Tiramisu hat das ganze noch geschmacklich abgerundet. Auch ein kurzer Wellengang durch Polizeiboote hatte seinen Charme. Ich würde immer wiederkommen!

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und unsere Bestellung wurde rasch gebracht. Unser Dessert war extrem lecker und absolut eine Weiterempfehlung wert.

Bei einem Tisch mit 4 Personen 3 Sachen falsch ist das Normal ?

Leider kann die Bedienung nicht richtig zuhören. Als Allergiker extra ohne Zitrone im Getränk bestellt und trotzdem mit Zitrone bekommen. Als Krönung nur die Zitrone entfernt (Zitronensöure spült sich aus) und das gleiche Glas bekommen. Geht gar nicht. Dann noch schnippische Kommentare darüber erhalten.

Wir waren am Samstag nacht für einen Absacker in der Alterlagune - sehr schön gelegen, aber leider konnte der Service dieser Lage nicht gerecht werden. Nach einem Irrtum von Seiten des Service wurde vom Chef mit rollenden Augen die Servicekraft beordert, die das zu regeln hatte - sie hat das nach bestem Können gut gemeistert, nur vom Chef hätte ich mir eine deutlich andere Reaktion gewünscht - ich möchte als Gast weder, dass ich noch der Service vor meinen Augen als blöd hingestellt wird. Fehler dürfen passieren, die kann man ganz unkompliziert und charmant aus dem Weg räumen.

Obwohl bei unserem eintreffen in die Alsterlagune unmittelbar eine Veranstaltung bevorstand konnten wir netterweise trotzdem noch etwas zu essen bekommen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Ausblick klasse. Das Wetter passte auch. Was will man mehr.

Essen war lecker, aber man zahlt definitiv für die Lage. Zwei Stücke Lachs, drei kleine TK-Rösti-Taler und etwas Soße für ~30€ ist schon an der Grenze, meiner Meinung nach. Auch wenn es gut schmeckt.

Sehr schön gelegene Location. Für eine Veranstaltung mit über 100 Personen, ist es etwas beengt zu sitzen. Service super. Das Essen kann man in traumhafter Lage genießen.

Das Servicepersonal bedient die Gäste wohl nach vorheriger Begutachtung. Freundlichkeit geht anders. Die Speisekarte liest sich gut, die Auswahl der Getränke ebenfalls. Die jeweiligen Preise sind der exponierten Lage an der Innenalster geschuldet. So kostet 1 Stück Kuchen 5,50 Euro. Ein Aperol Spritz 9,50 Euro, Weizenbier 6,40 Euro.... Der Kuchen machte den Eindruck, ein tiefgefrorenes Fertigprodukt zu sein. Sprich: Die Lage war top, den Rest konnte man knicki

Immer wenn ich in Hamburg bin, muss ich da hin. Hier stimmt alles. Persönlicher zuvorkommender Services, sehr gutes Essen, wo Preis und Leistung stimmt. Und natürlich das Ambiente. Direkt an der Binnenalster mit traumhaften Blick.

Nur das Essen ist ein minus die location ist perfekt ordentliche toiletten etc. Ich kann es empfehlen

Gute nicht zu grosse Pizzen. Einfach Salmone und Salame kann vom Personal missverstanden werden und zu zusätzlicher unnötiger Wartezeit führen, weil eben die falsche Pizza gebracht wird. Schöne Aussicht auf die Binnenalster.

Trotz durchwachsenem Wetter war es einen Besuch wert. Bedienung sehr nett, Essen super lecker, toller Blick. Hunde erlaubt.

Auf einem Schiff auf der Binnenalster befindet sich dieses Restaurant. Diese tolle Lage bezahlt man natürlich mit. Die Karte hat einen eindeutigen Schwerpunkt auf Fisch, aber auch Fleischliebhaber oder Vegetarier finden etwas. Die Qualität ist gut, die Bedienung könnte freundlicher sein.

Enttäuschend! Freundliches Personal, jedoch waren weder Pizza noch Pasta geschmacklich gut. Bei der Bezahlung kamen weitere Minus Punkte dazu. Ein Familienessen mit 11 Personen und wir konnten nicht mit Karte bezahlen. Wo bitte gibt es noch so Etwas? Das haben wir noch nie erlebt. Wir mussten alles Bargeld zusammen legen und bei einer Einladung geht das überhaupt nicht.

Hamburg'ta mükemmel yemek, Türk misafirperverliği ve güleryüz arayanlar muhakkak gelmeli. Gölün içinde gibi bir ortam var. Şef Erkan Bey'e ayrıca teşekkürler. Yemekler mükemmel, ortam harika, güleryüze paha biçilemez daha ne olsun. Hamburg'a gelen herkes burada en az bir kez yemek yemeli.

Einfach nur traurig was man da zu essen bekommt das Steak nicht so wie erwünscht dazu relativ teuer und der Salat meiner Dame serviert bekommen als wäre sie ein Kaninchen. Die Aussicht ist schön. Aber sonnst Personal und essen ——-5sterne. nie wieder !
