We had a very good meal here today - nice terrace and beautiful view

The restaurant in Kaufbeuren is nice and offers a beautiful view of the city from the terrace, and in good weather, even as far as the Alps. We were invited there by friends and, given the great view, were very pleasantly surprised by the ambiance on the terrace. Everything else is mid-range; they sometimes offer warm white wines and different varieties for follow-up orders. This is not appropriate for a hospitality setting and is unacceptable; every restaurateur should be aware of this. We also clearly communicated this to the service staff. We ate pizza and pasta there, which isn't particularly noteworthy as it was average. The service is excellent and very friendly. Elisabeth, the owner, is very committed to satisfying her guests. The food is truly delicious, and the staff and the manager are super nice. But what I find extremely unpleasant is the farewell greeting from one of the employees. "Stay healthy" is so out of date and was perhaps just bearable during the coronavirus pandemic. I don't want to hear that every time I pay. This wish is particularly insulting to two of my companions, whom I always have with me. They can't stay healthy because they already have chronic illnesses. Thanks to this farewell phrase "stay healthy!", they are immediately reminded of their illness at the end of a delicious meal – that's completely unacceptable. It would make us feel more comfortable if we were simply wished a nice evening or day as we left, rather than constantly being told "stay healthy."

The pizza was delicious and the staff was very friendly and accommodating despite the large number of guests. The view was magnificent.

Yes... it's a bit difficult for me to honestly rate the food because I found the ambience and service really good. I also found the atmosphere nice and the staff and the owner really nice and warm. Yes, eating is difficult. The pizza was ok. The dough was good, I personally found it very dry, but I am also very critical of pizza. The salad was fresh and crunchy, but the “dressing” was a disgrace.

The food here is really excellent – ​​tastes absolutely great! However, we and those around us noticed over the course of the year that higher-priced dishes such as steak or squid are often "no longer available" if you want to use the 2024 voucher booklet. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident, but also happened to friends and acquaintances. If you are participating in a coupon booklet to attract new customers, you should also make sure that the promised offers are available. It's a shame because it detracts from an otherwise great experience.

We were here today with the Schlemmerblock and were given an extremely warm welcome. We haven't had such friendly service in a long time and we ate really well and the portions were more than generous! We were just thrilled! The staff and the boss were extremely friendly - this is how you imagine a cozy visit to a restaurant 👍😄! We'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately I didn't feel welcome. The landlady seemed stressed by our group of 8, even though we were almost the only ones. I was there a year ago and it was the same. However, my Schlemmerblock voucher was accepted unconditionally.

A nice restaurant with a fantastic view of the mountains and Kaufbeuren

We were pleasantly surprised as we haven't eaten here for a long time. The restaurant has certainly been under new management for a while now. The food was surprisingly tasty and the atmosphere was very nice. The owner greeted us personally and we immediately felt at home. Delicious pizza, authentic pasta and some other dishes.

Dieses Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Essen ist hervorragend, egal was wir bis jetzt gegessen haben. Ich komme immer dann wenn meine Schwester zu Besuch ist mehrmals hin. Die Bedienung äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend, Preise sind wirklich im Rahmen. Der Ausblick auf Kaufbeuren und die Alpen immer wieder schön, auch der Innenbereich ansprechend und gemütlich.

We had dinner with the Schlemmerblock. The boss is very friendly. The pizzas were very good, hot and large enough. We had nothing to complain about.

What is in the photo is not correct. This restaurant is located in an industrial area and the only positive thing about it is the view. The front looks like a run down bar. Sorry I have to say that. We wanted to come but quickly drove on again

The Alpenblick is always worth a visit. A sensational view far beyond Kaufbeuren is certain! Food and drinks are great! The terrace is easy for everyone to access - but the restaurant can only be accessed via stairs.

We came from a joyride and got lost here thanks to the gourmet block we had with us. We certainly wouldn't have gone to the nicely located restaurant. But, the best decision ever. Der Service war sehr freundlich, aber leider etwas chaotisch, es gingen offensichtlich ein paar Dinge unter oder wurden verwechselt. Das Essen war in Ordnung. Das Ambiente eine kunterbunte Mischung aus allem mit einer Prise Kitsch. Alles in allem bewegt sich das Restaurant zwischen 3 und 4. Nicht schlecht, wer nicht dort war, hat aber auch nichts verpasst.

Eigentlich war alles ausgebucht...aber Dank der klasse Chefin hat sie ins 2 Plätze organisiert. Wir geben ins sehr wohl gefühlt und das Essen war sehr gut. Kommen wieder!

Sehr freundliches Personal, stets bemüht. der Ausblick von der Terrasse wie im Urlaub. Pasta war sehr lecker, von den Calamari mit Pommes (viel zu viel Teig und wenig Fisch für 16 Euro) waren wir enttäuscht. Auch die gemischte Fischplatte (1 kleines Stück Lachs und 3 Garnelen) mit Pommes(?) mit Mayo und bissl Salat für 23 Euro war nicht sonderlich ergiebig und lecker. Vielleicht lag es daran, weil viel los war und das Essen "rationiert" wurde. Wir kommen gerne wieder, aber essen keinen Fisch mehr...

Wir haben bei der lieben Elisabeth unsere Hochzeit gefeiert, es war wunderbar und alle unsere bitten und Wünsche wurden berücksichtigt und erfüllt ♥️ Wir hatten einen seperaten Raum den wir einen Tag vor unserer Feier nach unseren Vorstellungen dekorieren durften. Die Schwarzwälder Kirsch Torte war der absolute Hammer 🤤😘 Danke an Elisabeth und ihr tolles Team

Im alpenblick ist eine angenehme, gemütliche, saubere Atmosphäre. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auf der freiterrasse hat man einen ganz tollen Blick über die Stadt und über das Alpenvorland. Die Preise sind angemessen. VG nicht

Ich war heute das erste Mal im Alpenblick in Kaufbeuren zum Essen dort. Wow,so eine liebe und nette Bedienung hat man selten. Und das Essen ist sehr lecker und ganz frisch. Ich hatte einen großen Teller Salat 🥗 für ca. 10 Euro. Aber die Portion war echt riesig. Toll. Auch die Pizzen sind sehr frisch zubereitet. Bitte, geht alle Mal dort zum Essen hin. Sehr empfehlenswert. Von mir nochmal ein lieben Gruß an die nette Bedienung. Deshalb von mir 5 Sterne. Ich werde auch dieses Restaurant weiter empfehlen. Die Preise sind auch sehr erschwinglich. Dazu kommt auch noch der sagenhafte Blick auf Kaufbeuren und die Alpen.

Ganz nettes Cafe, war ein schöner Abend!

Die Location ist unschlagbar, tolle Terrasse mit Alpenblick. Die Bedienung sehr bemüht, freundlich und fleißig, das Essen nichts Besonderes, aber absolut ok und wirklich empfehlenswert, besonders die Preise sind human. Punktabzug bekommt das Lokal wegen einer absolut unterirdischen Musikbeschallung. Warum man hier miese deutsche Schlager von zweit- und drittklassigen italienischen Sängern auf italienisch darbieten lassen muss, entzieht sich meinem Verständnis und leider auch meiner Toleranz. Schade...

Schöne Terrasse mit tollem Ausblick über Kaufbeuren und die Alpen. Essen ist typisch italienisch (Pizza, Pasta, etwas Fisch und Fleisch, Salate) und für die Preise (Pizza ca 8-10€) sehr gut. Der Service war ausgezeichnet!

Draussen sitzt man auf der Terrasse sehr schön mit toller Aussicht. Der Wirt ist auch recht nett. Leider sind die Pizza und die Salate nullachtfünfzehn. Preise sind absolut moderat.

wir sind begeistert von dieser italienischen Küche, waren schön öfters dort und immer von den (unterschiedlich gegessenen) Speisen angetan: Typisch italienisch, nicht wie viele ital. Restaurants, die deutsch mit italienischem Kochen verbinden (wir sagen: Maggie-Italienisch). Da die Speisen- auf dies wird auch hingewiesen!- immer frisch zubereitet werden, ist eine längere Wartezeit zu akzeptieren. Wir haben jedenfalls nie länger als 1/2 Std warten müssen u. dies wurde sehr oft mit kostenlosem ! frisch hergestellten Grissini oder auch "nur" Weißbrot überbrückt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend. Die Tische sind immer ordentlich und sauber eingedeckt. Das Restaurant hat sicher seine besten Jahre gezählt. Dafür kann der Pächter, der auch der Koch ist !!, nichts. In der kurzen Zeit, in der er dies Lokal gepachtet hat, hat er schon sehr viel verändert. Alles ist nicht machbar- und kostet v.a. viel. Hier ist u.E. der Eigentümer mehr in die Pflicht zu nehmen.
