Very dry, salty, chewy, expensive and just poor quality. If you’re hungry, go elsewhere. The service was also really terrible, hard to believe a place that supposedly has such a high rating is still in business, considering what I just experienced today. Shocking.

I live abroad so I had not had a donner kebab in at least 3 years, so I was recommended to go to this place to get a good kebab. I am not a fussy person but this kebab that they gave me was the WORST I have ever had in my life. Albsolutly horrible food, I am used to pita bread and this old dry salty meat was served in a dry bun. It was not wet with garlic and chile sause but unedibly dry. Furthermore the staff were not a bit friendly. In Ireland, we eat kebabs all the time are used to friendly service with good quality food served with pride by the staff. Not here in Alpen Imbiss where the atmosphere is unwelcoming and they treated me with terrible, unfriendly atitude, (despite me making an huge effort to be friendly) as well as serving me a substandard, salty and stale "so called Kebab" I would gove it 0 stars if this was an option. Avoid at all costs. Now drinking pints of water to get the salty, strange taste off my mouth

The meat wasn't cooked properly. The employee worked frantically and yelled at customers. Service = 0! The prices are reasonable, but definitely not recommended.

I wish I could give it a zero rating; it was the worst wrap I've ever eaten. I actually wanted to give up on the döner kebab the moment I saw it, but since there weren't many options, I just bought it. It's a disgrace. The meat has no flavor and the color is awful. Anyway, I got the wrap, and the only taste I got from it was salt, nothing else. ABSOLUTELY STAY AWAY! YOU SHOULD BE AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO THROW YOUR MONEY TO TRASH.

Great little place. I asked if he spoke English and he was like, "You want kebab?" And that was that. Got all the veggies with the white and hot sauces. Also got a beer, all for €10. It was delicious and hit the spot for a hot, quick, and satisfying dinner

Holy crap... I wouldn't go there again, even if I were completely drunk. Nothing homemade, no dressing on the salad, tastes terrible. The portion size is ridiculous for the price. Whoever writes "Munich's best kebab" is lying, and the customer didn't check Google reviews first. Otherwise, as a tourist, I feel sorry for Munich. It's only able to survive because it's in a good location and there are enough people passing by who don't know any better. Like me, unfortunately... I regret every cent... I've never had anything like it. The food was takeout.

I ordered dürüm... by the time I paid, my dürüm was already ready without even asking me what I wanted in it... when I asked if it was spicy and without onions... the colleague said "Yes"... I asked again, then the second colleague said "Make a new one"... and he makes the new dürüm with less meat... salad and greens... I'm very disappointed... the last time I picked up my food.

Originally the worst kebab I've ever had in my entire life. The yogurt sauce tasted like nothing. I have no idea how they manage that. I don't understand these Google reviews. (Probably bought, I guess.) Every kebab in Berlin is better than this one. But at least the staff were nice. I would still advise everyone not to go here!

Like many people, I came with Google. The bearded boy, who was not interested, asked if it was cash or card only. I was able to order the food I wanted by showing the photo of your menu that appeared on Google. It said 8.5 euros there, but I paid 13 euros with a card. I bought the plate myself, there is no service, that does not matter. I waited for him to ask for a drink while ordering, frankly I was intimidated by his attitude. After receiving the food, I took a drink from the fridge myself and went to the cash register. This time, he asked for cash, not with a card. I do not carry cash. Unfortunately after 12 o'clock it was an absolute flop. I was tried to slip fries into my kebab as a filling agent. Unfortunately, the employees don't seem to care at all about what they serve their guests at a late hour. The Alpen Imbiss used to be great. Now unfortunately a total flop.

Staff absolutely unfriendly. The unfriendly service I have ever encountered in my life. The bill only showed the food and I was charged so expensive for the drinks that didn't appear on the bill that they made me feel sick. All I can really say is that I was cheated here, clearly. The meat is just nothing special. Last time i ate there, i've got problems with my gut. And at midnight the place outside is full of junkies and dealers.

Unfortunately, it wasn't really a good kebab; after eating it, I often had severe stomach problems and even vomited several times.

Unfortunately, it's quite expensive! As a Berliner, I was very disappointed: 8 euros for a durüm, hardly any meat, and a very old salad. The staff were very unfriendly. When I asked if the durüm could be cut in two, I was told, "No, you can do it yourself!" The shop wasn't even full, which is a shame... which is why I'm only giving it a bad review.

The rotisserie sandwich, which you can't rightly call a kebab due to the poor quality of the meat, tasted terrible and there was very little meat for €7, covered with a lot of lettuce and the sauce tasted very strongly of cheap mayo with a pungent aftertaste of vinegar. The snack Benefits from the location and the opening times - if night owls have a lot of tea on the weekend, they won't notice it anyway :-)

Used to come here all the time when visiting Munich. The foods good, but recently the cleanliness and hygiene has taken a nose dive. I was eating my kebab, watching mice run around the premises.

Went there more often after visiting the bar, just like before. Staff was unfriendly. We wanted to eat inside, but it was so dirty that we sat outside. My friend specifically ordered his kebab NOT spicy, it was incredibly spicy and actually inedible. Apart from that, from my point of view, it was basically a really bad kebab and also had enormous hygiene concerns. Definitely don't go there anymore.

Even one star is still too many here. You can barely tolerate the kebab if you've drunk too much. The meat used is absolutely inedible at any time of the day. Rock hard! Absolutely inferior quality and took too long on the grill. Interior spartan. Only aimed at Alkis who also come and go here. I wouldn't even recommend this store to my enemies!

Unfortunately my visit to this kebab shop was very disappointing. I had to wait an unusually long time before placing my order, even though there were no other customers in front of me. While waiting, I could see the employee busy in the kitchen. Before he came out, he ran both hands through his hair and then directly grabbed the kebab with these hands - a clear violation of basic hygiene standards. The quality of the service was also poor: the friendliness of the staff left a lot to be desired. You didn't feel welcome or well served. The prices bear no relation to the service offered, neither in terms of quality nor in terms of on-site experience. Overall, unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this snack bar. Hygiene and customer friendliness should be top priority, which is apparently not the case here.

I wish I could give 0 stars. This was by far the worst kebab I've ever eaten, even at 3 a.m. with a high temperature I couldn't eat this thing. The service was even worse than the kebab. We were insulted stupidly and our kebab was served in an incredibly careless way that I have never experienced before. Stay away from this eyesore and avoid this store.

For a total of 7 € you can quickly put together a loveless thing that unfortunately only looks like a kebab. The taste is very poor and the layering is extremely bad. The thing falls apart when it's handed over and doesn't even survive two bites before it completely dissolves. A portion of crap in your hand would be worth more. Nice for the rats at the tram station, but difficult for people to enjoy. Absolutely not recommended!

Worst kebab in Munich. For 8€ you get 4 counted pieces of the rotisserie, onions were out and a lot of salad so that it's not just pita bread. Unfortunately, tomatoes don't taste good at all and sauce couldn't be more generic. Unfortunately there is often no alternative at Sendlinger Tor and that's why they get away with it. Keep your hands off it!

No salad in the kebab, then it's still cold, it's ready in 2 seconds...how does that work? You order and by the time you have the money it's already there.. you are put under so much pressure to get out of there quickly...weird shop...bad food!
