We hebben met een groep van 36 vrienden van onze duikvereniging genoten van een heerlijk en goed verzorgd grillbuffet met salades, brood en sauzen. Het restaurant is prachtig gelegen in een rustige en groene omgeving iets buiten Rheine, en heeft een eenvoudig maar gezellig terras. De ontvangst en bediening zijn hartelijk, de alpaca’s en het winkeltje met artikelen van alpacawol zijn een leuke toevoeging. Zittend op het terras tussen de bomen geniet je van het heerlijke eten, de rust en de fluitende vogels. We kunnen dit restaurant van harte aanbevelen.

We took part in a taster lesson with the alpacas as a children's birthday party. It was a great experience for the children and they were all really excited. Thank you very much for making it possible so spontaneously. Gladly again!

We went on a nice walk with 10 people and six alpacas. Learn a lot about the animals and their habits and how they are kept. Afterwards there was refreshment in the restaurant with delicious cakes and, for those who love hearty dishes, schnitzel with potato salad. An all-round successful Sunday lunch. Thank you!

The visit to the idyllic farm was definitely worth it. The hike with the alpacas was very beautiful and a lot of fun. The meal afterwards was also excellent.

We visited here for camping with country pleasure. Everything was very uncomplicated, the operators were very nice, we didn't eat, but we did pet the alpacas! Thank you for that! So what can I say, we are on our bikes from Issum (Diebels Altbier!!). We drove past the Hohenheide restaurant...., it was closed. We knocked on the door and lo and behold, the nice landlady Heike opened her restaurant. The hosts had a lovely time sitting here and were really well looked after. Simply beautiful here, also a romantically beautiful beer garden. The route is the 3-way tower! This review is not fake, it is my honest opinion! There were drinks, the restaurant was closed.

Beautiful farm, cozy restaurant and very friendly owners. Small but nice card. The farm shop has everything that makes an alpaca lover's heart beat faster. Soap, socks, sweaters... Thank you for allowing us to spend the night here on land pleasure.

Unfortunately the shop and the area are closed on Wednesday. It's a shame we drove specifically to the area

Had a great hike with the alpacas, an impressive experience together with the staff from our practice. Beforehand you get delicious coffee and cake and lots of interesting information about the animals. It was a successful afternoon!

Large, great camping meadow with old trees. Delicious cake. And we ate really well in the evening. Unfortunately we didn't go on an alpaca tour. Let's catch up. I can promise that speaking people will be helped here!

It was a really nice afternoon. The sun 🌞 is shining, we call at short notice and reserve 2 places. It's a lovely place to sit outside in the green. Small menu with cakes. Food is very tasty. We finally had a schnitzel from the pan again with homemade potato salad, and a piece of cake for dessert 🍰. We are really excited. There is an alpaca farm next door. You can go for a walk. In any case, this will be repeated.

We spent one night here in the motorhome. It is very quiet here and very idyllic. Beautifully located by the forest. The cake was simply amazing, simply delicious. We were warmly welcomed and looked after. Service and hospitality are lived here.

Idyllically located, very spacious grounds, absolute peace. Owners the Beckmann family are very friendly, helpful and authentic. Cake with the tastiest sponge cake base ever. The alpaca items and the alpaca farm are great. We had a great time during country fun. In the evening you could take a tankard of Rolinck with you to the camper 😁It was almost as if you were visiting friends.

We come every year for the traditional rabbit dinner. It tastes fantastic, the toppings are generous and the atmosphere is very friendly. Always great!

A very friendly, family-run restaurant. Idyllically located with very good food (here the boss cooks himself)! If you like, you can let off steam in the alpaca shop or book alpaca tours. Ideal for family celebrations. Also recommended as a destination for a bike tour. All around good! We come regularly! 👍🏻

The service is top and the cake is great. Everyone is very friendly. An absolutely relaxed atmosphere. Very quiet location. I picked up alpaca wool from the shop. I am absolutely thrilled. She's super easy to knit up.

We also give it 5 stars, we also had a lot of fun there. A really beautiful and large place with the opportunity to swim in the Ems, which is still small there. Since my girlfriend is a big alpaca fan, this place was perfect for her. We didn't eat there, it was a rest day, but we bought some soap. We'll definitely be happy to come back. Through Landfreuden we had the opportunity to spend the night in this beautiful piece of earth. We were warmly welcomed and looked after. The food in the restaurant was great. There are many great alpaca products in the Alpaca Shop. We would love to come back and then take part in an alpaca tour.

We ended up staying with the Beckmann family via country fun... great parking space on a large meadow... a really nice welcome and very good food in the evening. Plus an interesting and nice conversation with Ms. Beckmann at the table. Great...we really enjoyed it...we'll definitely be back.

We took a walk with the alpacas. The owner was very nice and treated the animals well. Animal welfare was very important to her. Everyone was happy on the walk, children and adults... We recommend. The place is also very beautiful.

We had a great alpaca hike. Heike has trained her alpacas extremely well and is there to help and advise you during the hike through the beautiful forests. A great experience.

Wir haben heute eine Alpakawanderung unternommen. Heike (+ das gesamte Team) waren unglaublich herzlich und freundlich. Die Tiere werden mit viel Respekt und Liebe gehalten. Hier wird mit Liebe zum Tier gearbeitet und alles findet in einem respektvollen Umgang statt. Das wirkt sich auch auf die Tiere und einen selbst aus. Die Alpakas waren entspannt und man konnte super entschleunigen. Für mich/uns war es nicht das letzte Mal. Danke für so viel Arbeit und Leistung. Der Hof ist wunderschön gelegen. Ich habe heute viel dazu gelernt. Über mich und das Wesen der Tiere. Danke!

Ein schöner Abschluss unseres Betriebsausflugs (Kanutour) im Restaurant Hohe Heide. Der Anlegesteg befindet sich in der Nähe. Das Abendessen war sehr lecker und reichlich. Wir haben schön draußen gesessen und den Abend genossen.

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt bei lieben Menschen, wir fühlten uns direkt herzlich Willkommen und das Essen war einfach lecker und Bodenständig. Die Alpakas sind definitiv einen Besuch wert und es wurde über alte Trosse Kult Zeiten geredet. Immer wieder gerne kommen wir hier her zurück. Danke Heike und Jürgen. LG Nadine und Kai.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Wir haben im Rahmen von Landvergnügen eine Nacht bei Familie Beckmann verbracht. Selten haben wir soviel Gastfreundschaft erlebt wie hier. Ein tolles Fleckchen Erde, sehr leckeres Essen und eine schöne Auswahl an Alpaka Produkten lassen kaum Wünsche offen. Wir kommen jederzeit sehr gerne wieder. Liebe Grüße aus Lingen, Kai und Nadine

Haben heute eine Kohlfahrt gemacht. Am Ende waren wir beim Alpakahof Hohe Heide. Das Essen war sehr gut und es war eine schöne Veranstaltung. Es ist schön, dass hier regionale Produkte gelebt werden.

Sehr netter und freundlicher Kontakt. Wir haben eine Nacht mit unserem Wohnmobil auf der großen Wiese mitten im Wald gestanden. Die Alpakas sind Mega süß. Toller Hofladen mit super herrlichen und warmen Alpaka Socken, Mützen, Schals, Handschuhe, Seifen und vieles mehr. Im Sommer werden wir mit den Fahrrädern noch einmal auf den Alpakahof übernachten.

Wir durften schon zum zweiten Mal eine wunderbare Zeit mit ganz tollen Tieren verbringen. Sobald man auf die Alpakas trifft ist der Alltag vergessen und man taucht ab in pure Entschleunigung. Während der Wanderung erfährt man ganz viel Interessantes über die Tiere. Vielen lieben Dank Heike, wir kommen wieder!

Schon mehrfach dort gewesen. Ob schönes Abendessen, große Feier oder ein spontaner Ausflug. Immer gut versorgt worden. Gelände ist sehr weitläufig und man kann Alpakas sehen. Die Ems mit Boitsanleger ist nicht weit.

Ganz tolle Führung. Liebe Tiere und ganz herzliche Besitzerin. Es gibt auch einen tollen Alpaka Shop.

Wir haben spontan den Saal mieten können, ein Glücksfall! Entspannte Gastgeber, gute Parkmöglichkeiten und alles sehr flexibel gestaltet. Keine Nachbarn, auf die man wegen der Lautstärke Rücksicht nehmen muss. Unterm Strich ist alles sehr gut gelaufen und die Party war ein voller Erfolg!

Süße Alpakas, schöne Gegend. Rolinck muss man mögen... Die Kaffee Spezialitäten waren etwas eingeschränkt. Als Kanu Fahrer ist man sehr willkommen wenn man DRAUSSEN bleibt. Für uns beim nächsten Mal bei einem Stop mit dem Kanu: Alpakas gucken & streicheln!!

Wir haben diesen Ort im Rahmen des Landvergnügen mit dem Womo angefahren. Grosse Wiese mit ausreichend Platz und einem sehr nettem Empfang durch die Gastgeberin... Zu empfehlen ist das leckere Essen am Abend,welches wir schon am Nachmittag bei der Ankunft bestellen konnten...Gelungener Abschluss zum Abend und eine äußert ruhige und dunkle Nacht. Der Ort ist wirklich zu empfehlen

Landvergnügen pur, sehr schön gelegen, Restaurant gut, schöne Terrasse und Hofladen mit Alpaka Sachen. Strom und Wasser sind vorhanden. Stellplatz auf gepflegter Weise direkt neben an. Ich komme gerne wieder, sehr nette Betreiber Klappte alles reibungslos.

Ein wunderschön gelegenes Restaurant, nahe der Ems. Ein Ort fern ab der Hektik. Hier kann man idyllisch unter altem Baumbestand sitzen.

Es war, wie immer, ein Fest auf und bei der Hohen Heide in Mesum zu essen. Wir haben uns wieder richtig auf die Wildsaison gefreut und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Perfekt gebratene Rehmedaillons und Entengeschnetzeltes, butterweich, passten wunderbar. Die Beilagen, Rotkohl, Rosenkohl, Spätzle und Kartoffeln standen dem Fleisch in Nichts nach. Vorab die Hochzeitssuppe und die Herrencreme rundeten den Abend ab. Das Personal wie gehabt nett und zuvorkommend. Wir freuen uns aufs nächste Mal!

Wir waren da, um den letzten Urlaubstag zu "feiern". Bestellt wurde von uns erst ein Pfifferlingcremesüppchen, welches unglaublich lecker war. Normale Portionsgröße, geschmacklich hervorragend. Als Hauptgang dann ein Pfifferlingrahmschnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln. Schmeckte ebenfalls sehr gut! Portionsgröße ebenfalls. Dazu die idyllische Lage und der Sonnenuntergang. Besser kann es nicht sein. Preislich insgesamt jeden Cent wert.

Super idyllische, ruhige Lage und sehr leckeres Essen mit ausgezeichnetem Preis-, Leistungsverhältnis. Die Pfifferlingrahmsuppe war ein Gedicht und die „Krüstchen“ ein Genuss.

Typisches Ausflugslokal in wunderschöner landschaftlicher Umgebung (Emsnähe) Die Einrichtung ist sehr gemütlich.Die Küche gut bürgerlich.

Super Essen und dazu noch sehr freundlicher Service ... einfach nur empfehlenswert ... Wir hatten gebackenen Camembert (frisch gemacht) und diverse Wildgerichte - besonders zu Empfehlen die Rehmedallions - einfach mmmmmmmhhh

Das Essen ist sehr lecker und die Portionsgröße sehr gut, nicht zu wenig aber auch nicht überladen. Vom Preis/Leistungsverhältnis auf jeden Fall eine sehr gute Wahl. EIn gutes Ziel für Ausflügler und Spaziergänger, die Ems liegt z.B. in unmittelbarer Nähe, so dass sich auf einer Kanutour z.B. dieses Lokal für eine Rast anbietet.
