"Don't judge a book by its cover"...and that's exactly how it is with this authentic Thai restaurant in Landstuhl. Without good old friends and self-professed, experienced foodies, I probably wouldn't have gone in here...and would have missed out on a lot. What was originally just 6 tables has now grown to almost 20, and the terrace is also busy in the summer. The small, open-plan kitchen is clearly reminiscent of Thai food stalls—just like the taste of the very authentic dishes. Superbly seasoned and just as delicious across the board. It's a pleasure to watch the three chefs at work in the wok. The service is friendly and offers good advice. Warning: Thai food is SPICY and not for wimps. The small wine list also offers bottles you wouldn't expect here. We'll be back just for the crispy, whole-fried fish.

I’m absolutely coming back here for some good food! I literally ordered the whole menu lol! I ordered some fried squid, fried rice, and I don’t remember what the white rolls were called but they were good too. The dessert was sweet rice with freshly sliced mangos and coconut milk. It’s all a must try and it didn’t take long to come out!

Delicious food, very friendly service! One star deducted because the food is comparatively very expensive. I find €18 for a regular Thai curry quite steep.

Good food. However, I will say that the menu said I’d get 4 x spring rolls (Vietnamese spring rolls) and I only got 2 . Caused a little ruckus with kiddos but would just ask that the menu is corrected if that’s the case.

We ordered the vegetable spring rolls, rice soup with chicken, miso soup, fried rice with chicken, and egg noodles with chicken. The food was fantastic. The service was great, and the portions were enough for a second meal. The place is small, and I ordered takeout, but I would definitely order from here again. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an incredible Thai meal.

Pretty good thai food. Small restaurant. we would like to see a few more fish items that aren't deep fried tilapia as the method of cooking isnt our favorite and that fish isn't our favorite. Nevertheless, the deep fried tilapia with Mango sauce was really good. As was the crispy duck and vegetables. We would return to eat again.

This is my girls and my go to spot for Thai food when we are missing family home cooking. They each have their favorite: chuu schii curry with duck, shrimp fried rice and shrimp pad Thai🤣and when we are feeling it, add the papaya salad. Yum!! Of course you eat family style so everyone can have a little of everything!!! And get the curry crab to go. You won’t regret it. Best to eat this at home since it’s finger licking good🤣

Just had an absolutely amazing meal at this hidden gem of a Thai restaurant! From the moment we walked in (without a reservation, might I add), the service was impeccable. The waitress (GRACE) went above and beyond, not only squeezing us in but also recommending all our dishes—and wow, did she get it right! Every bite was divine, bursting with authentic flavors and perfectly balanced spices. The portions were generous, the presentation was spot on, and the pricing was more than reasonable for the quality. The atmosphere had that lovely, intimate charm—tucked just off the main drag, it feels like a real find. Service was bang on throughout, making the whole experience even better. If you’re a fan of Thai food, this place is an absolute must. Will 100% be back!

After living in the area for many years family and I were craving some Pad See Ew and this place did NOT disappoint! The atmosphere inside is cute and quaint. I highly recommend maybe calling ahead of time for larger parties to make sure they have room. Super friendly staff and kid friendly. Great part is they are open on Sundays as well 👍

I've enjoyed the Duck and Phad Thai.

Had an amazing dinner with friends and couldn’t be more happy with the food, service and atmosphere. Jersey managed the tables all evening and I haven’t seen somebody work harder and communicate better than the way he did tonight. The guy is magical. My curry was amazing and the duck was the best I’ve ever had. Couldn’t have had a better night.

Hands down this is the best Thai place around. Pad Thai is delicious, both with chicken or king prawns.

I was there a long time ago and I have to say. Sweet and sour chicken is the best thing I've ever eaten outside. Lots of vegetables, pineapple and, most importantly, no parsley meat, excellent.

Not sure what to say about this food. The portions were very fair, but I ate two dishes and found that it was missing something. I mean the dish didn’t have any fullness in flavor. I could taste the sprouts and veggies just fine but I felt like I was just eating tasteless noodles, even the pad Thai. Also I tried the papaya salad my wife ordered and it was just too salty. Won’t go back here for sure.

I was in Germany for 2 years, I either dined in every week or called in an order in every other week. So much as to the guy who answered the phone knew it was me ordering. If I forgot the spring rolls he would say “ma’am are you forgetting something”. It’s the best Thai food hands down. Ive never been able to find anything else like it.

How could I have overlooked this restaurant for so long? For me, by far the best Thai food in a radius of 150 km. The layout looks more like a smaller bistro than a restaurant, but that didn't bother me in the least. Top 👍🏼 You can see through a window into the kitchen, where fresh cooking is being done. It tasted so authentic. Super.

We used to love this restaurant! I ordered the same menu option every single time for over a year whenever we would eat there. Today suddenly one dish also has cilantro. It has never ever been on the dish before, and is not listed on the menu item. We are allergic. >> Call and ask about it and to get a replacement. "We sometimes put cilantro on it". "SOMETIMES"? Does that mean SOMETIMES we will receive a different meat? SOMETIMES we will get other vegetables? SOMETIMES we will receive items NOT listed on the menu dish that we are allergic to apparently. 40 minutes of driving a SECOND time. Now the dish has some other bonus stuff on it? Also not on the menu, and has never been on the dish before. Due to this the food is inedible...AGAIN. Twice we tried, and twice got an inedible dish. We can not, and will not, eat here in the future since we can't rely on the fact that what is listed as ingredients will ACTUALLY be what is in the dish. Sad.

One of my favorite lunch spots. The appetizer wings...good. The shrimp plates I've tried have all been good. If you ask for Thai spicey.. good God. Be ready because it's gonna be a fun ride. Tried a few dishes and none have disappointed. The dish I posted is number 167... it's a spicy one.

We ate at the local restaurant last year and absolutely loved it. Yesterday we picked up food and were absolutely disappointed. The yellow Thai curry is described on the menu as creamy, sweet and not oily, unfortunately the opposite was the case. It was spicy and the oily soup floated on top. There were also ingredients in both meals that were not listed on the menu. The starters were just ok, despite everything it's a shame about €60.

This is my third time dining here along with my third review. I am not sure why so many others have had bad experiences. I guess if you order take out and have to wait longer than expected, this would be very frustrating and certainly deserving of a lower rating. However, those that dined in and simply did not enjoy the meal is surprising. My colleagues and I have enjoyed every meal here. This time I tried the spicier variation of Thai curry called Chuu Schii Curry. It was as advertised. One colleague ordered his usual green curry while the other went with the duck curry. If you want it Thai hot, they will do as requested. Sure, the service can be slow at times, but conversing with friends makes the time waiting enjoyable. Give this place a shot.

The food was REALLY good . I ordered the papaya salad Lao salad , it was very but very flavorful. I also ordered the soup it was super tasty . The waiter was really nice and attentive. They’re very busy so you have to be patient for your food but definitely worth the wait .. 10/10

Wir waren nach längerer Zeit mal wieder hier, obwohl es von uns aus ca 45 Minuten Fahrt ist. Ein Gericht war zwar nicht, wie ich es gewohnt war, man hat aber sofort reagiert und nach wenigen Minuten war es im original Thai Style.

Neben der Ausgelesene, Vielseitige Speisekarte, sind wir begeistert von Jersey Service und seine selbstgemachte Etdnusseuse. Auch Cocossupe ist sehr empfelenswert. Bester Thailänder in der Umgebung. Frisch zubereitete Speisen, Original Thaiküche. Auf der großen Speisekarte ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Service freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Laden selbst hat kein besonderes Ambiente, aber bei dem leckeren Essen ist das egal.

Ich habe in dem Restaurant eine der besten knusprigen Enten mit Gemüse gegessen, die ich je in einem Asia-Lokal bekommen habe. Der Preis ist mit 19,- € zwar etwas höher als bei den meisten anderen Asia – Lokalen, aber die Qualität dementsprechend auch und daher stimmt das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Das Ambiente entspricht einem Schnellimbiss. Wer gemütliche Stunden in einem Restaurant verbringen will, ist hier nicht unbedingt an der richtigen Adresse. Wer aber primär eine leckere Mahlzeit zu sich nehmen ist hier bestens bedient.

Sooo earlier, I recommended Tida Thai in Kaiserslautern! THIS HIDDEN GEM in my opinion DOMINATES IN FLAVORS!!! The service OUTSTANDING. Not as fancy decor but if you want QUALITY!!!! It'll be worth it. Chuu Schi Curry with filet fish. And the squid with garlic and lemon grass. Ask for red chili pepper and vinegar sauce. Different level of calamari! It will not disappoint! Add OM eggs to your fried rice! YUM!!! Thank you to the waiter and staff! You've got a loyal customer while I'm here ❤️

We’ve been ordering from this place for over a year now because it’s the closest to our house and they have pretty good authentic Thai food. The pad thai is always delicious and we like that the spicy-ness is thai level. recently for the past few months their time for our order to be ready has gone up, which is understandable with how busy it can get, they tell us it’ll be ready in an hour usually now. But when we get there the order hasn’t even been started on yet. The last time we ordered will be the last. I’m not sure if they got a new cook or something but it was the worst pad thai they have ever made and again the order wasn’t even started. They also had to remake a dish because they forgot to put in Thai basil. I’m giving two stars for being a great restaurant to us for a long time, I just don’t know what has changed recently for them to end up like this.

Been going here for a couple of years. But most recently the taste/flavor of the food changed drastically. My Tom yum noodle was so sweet. It’s suppose to have spicy/sour taste. Might have to look for a new Thai spot. Worst part was they didn’t even at least offer to make a new one. All we got was “we are sorry”….I’m actually sorry for this restaurant too…

Durch Zufall/Google, dieses Kleine ,von außen unscheinbar man kann auch sagen nicht ansprechendes kleines Thai Restaurant gefunden. Der Weg hinein lohnt sich .Personal sehr freundlich. Das Essen soo lecker.Alles frisch ,durch ein Glasfenster kann man dem Koch beim zaubern zuschauen. Besonderst zuvorkommend fand ich(meine Mann hat sich als nicht besondere Kenner der Thai Küche geoutet) dass die Bedienung spontan auf seinen Wunsch (Fleisch , Gemüse, Scharf), den er geäußert hat,sehr nett reagiert hat. Er wurde noch gefragt in welche Richtung der Geschmack gehen sollte {Soja,curry,salzig)Er entschied sich für Curry Scharf.Dazu kam noch ein Gruß aus der Küche ,so konnte er sein erstes Laab Muuh probieren Alles in einem einfach nur lecker 💯 Das war das erstmal aber mit Sicherheit nicht das letzemal. 😁

There is another good Thai place in town, but this one will feel more like Thailand. We split an order of egg rolls with chicken. She went with the panaeng curry and I selected the green curry. Mine had a bit of spice which was perfect. Both dishes were incredible. We also had to glasses of white wine to go with our great dinner. There is no air conditioning so be ware if it is summer. Although, they do have outdoor seating.

The Tom Yum soup was soooooo good! My friend ordered the spring rolls and those were delicious too, and she said her green curry meal was one of the best ones she has ever eaten.

One of the best green curry dishes that I have ever had! The spring rolls were fantastic also. My son enjoyed his teriyaki skewers which they kindly brought out before the meal so that he could eat before he got hangry.

Food and service was great...The area is so small and the conversations around us was almost overwhelmingly LOUD!!!
