Allegro Pizzeria & Restaurant in Pforzheim

Food catastrophic, service apart from a Croatian waiter totally unfriendly! There were 36 people in the restaurant, almost all of us totally disappointed! Italian starter with Gouda and Aldi salami, pasta you could suck on. When we complained, they said the pasta was always pre-cooked! Absolute impudence!

I had the pleasure of visiting this pizzeria and I absolutely love it! The pizza was fresh, tasty and perfectly prepared - you can really tell that only high quality ingredients are used here. The service was super nice and attentive, which made the visit even more pleasant. Overall, a great experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for a fresh and tasty pizza. I'll definitely be back!

The food was really delicious and freshly prepared. The service was quick and very attentive. We would particularly like to highlight Luka, who served us - he was extremely friendly and took excellent care of everything. We didn't miss anything. We'd love to come back!

For me (us), the Allegro is a restaurant where you can visit, and without thinking about what you eat, with no thought that something won't taste good. We've probably eaten the whole menu, whether meat, pasta, fish, pizza, salad, mussels, ice cream, and some dessert with strawberries that was homemade, but I can't remember, but it was absolutely amazing👍 The waitresses are friendly if you ask about something missing, the atmosphere is right, it's always worth a visit for us 🤤😃

Cool, the selection is huge, the pizza is good and at times when we go out to eat it's completely manageable. The prices are harmonious and we like to come there often

We ate a pasta dish there. Once with meat and once vegetarian, both were very tasty. The salad was tasty and fresh. Although the entrance is at ground level, there are several steps inside. Which can be a real obstacle if you have walking difficulties. The toilets can also be reached with steps.

I can only recommend this restaurant; the food is delicious, and even when it's busy, the food is always served hot and delicious. A big compliment to Ivana and Mario; they're always friendly, even when they're busy, and always ready to fulfill any food or drink requests!

Ordered pizza with spicy salami and garlic. In the meantime you can hear Croatian being spoken. Thought I was at the Croatian restaurant :) Everyone was very friendly and on the ball. Pizza itself: 4 slices, salami, no mozzarella….think Edam.. the dough turned out very well. It was ok but for €13.90 it wasn't that great for the price. Ambience reminds me of my childhood. Time stood still at the end of the 80s.

I am a frequent guest here. I find it to be a solid restaurant for “everyday life”. Good choice for lunch or dinner, has a sufficient selection of seasonal dishes and good portions. The taste is always consistent and creative but also classic cuisine. Service is friendly and attentive. Parking is very easy in the surrounding area.

I'm having knee surgery tomorrow at the Arcuskliniken and there is a cooperation with the adjacent Hotel Residenz, which is highly recommended! Since there may be similar people who arrive on the evening before the operation, I would only like to give a really conditional recommendation for the restaurant... the service is, as often mentioned, very fast and friendly. Unfortunately there are discounts when it comes to food! Some time ago there were complaints that the sauce was watery and the spaghetti was unsalted. I can only confirm this. The food I ordered was a pepper cream steak, instead of croquettes (Italian?) I wanted spaghetti. The quality of the meat was excellent, medium fried as requested, but the cream sauce was completely watered down and the spaghetti was unsalted. This is just a note. At the next table there was pizza... by the way, there was a lot(!) of crust left on the plate. I wish everyone who has an operation at the Arcuskliniken good luck, both with the operation and with their choice of food...;-)

Good food, good ambience. The service staff weren't enough, but they made a big effort. The fact that you add simple, bare white bread to soup instead of ciabatta with a little oil is a question of style. Minestrone had little taste.

Was invited to dinner today. Food was delicious. Service very friendly and attentive.

The food is OK, but unfortunately not what it used to be. The sauce for roast onion roast is very watery. The pasta dishes lack salt. The salad is very bland. In addition to the loss of quality compared to the past, prices have also become very expensive. I used to have an average voucher between €50-60, now it was €75! We have now given the restaurant a chance several times, but unfortunately we will now visit another restaurant.

The worst service - a male waiter was very rude and impatient.

It's a shame when you're looking forward to a nice evening. It started with the fact that the reserved table was forgotten and we were assigned another table but only the right table because the left one was reserved, which I said doesn't matter, ours was forgotten too. I said a drink should be on the house, but that was ignored. So we ordered drinks and they came quickly after we ordered our food. Then came the neighboring table. I have absolutely nothing against children but from that moment on we were no longer able to talk. The volume level was unbeatable. We asked for another table which we got. So let's go round two, fully loaded with drinks, jackets, etc. When we arrived at the table, about 45 minutes later, we were surprised that people who came long after us got their food and we didn't. So we looked for a waitress and asked if we had been forgotten. It turned out that the other waitress hadn't informed us that we were sitting at a different table. So the food went back. I was about to burst. Half an hour later the food arrived but you can evaporate there and no waitress is interested unless you wave in the hope that someone will see it. The waitress from the first table came when we paid to apologize to us, which she could have saved herself. This evening was simply ruined. We understand something different by service and we know what we are talking about. The least it would have been was a drink on the house, but that was ignored. With that in mind, keep it up and your guests will thank you...

Food tastes good. Not a high-quality Italian restaurant, more of a pasta-pizza place. Prices have gone up, that's just the way it is, but the fact that the portions (except pizza) are getting smaller as a result of the increase is a shame. The noise level from many children is also borderline. You could offer a child-free section. Ok for a quick meal if you're not hungry, but rather unsuitable for a nice evening for two. I also find the staff pretty flippant. I'm a guest and not the buddy from next door...

Unfortunately the pizza was inedible, the dough resembled chewing gum. It seemed that this pizza came out of the freezer a little carelessly due to the quick delivery time. After the complaint, the table was offered three free coffees. The rest of the food was fine. The service in the restaurant is very friendly and accommodating. The ambience is OK, but it is too hot in the winter garden.

War das letzte Mal! Waren hier regelmäßig (alle 1-2 Monate) essen wenn wir in Pforzheim auf Besuch bei Familie waren, essen durchschnittlich gut, Preise wie üblich. Heute waren wir spontan dort mit 8 Personen, 2/3 der Tische waren leer, ein Tisch (von außen sichtbar) mit einem reserviert Schild, also alles andere als voll. Wurden sehr unfreundlich gefragt ob wir reserviert hätten, hatten wir nicht, noch unfreundlich wurde uns klar gemacht das das ja gar nicht geht und nach einem "Blick" in den Kalender hat die Dame uns mitgeteilt das kein Tisch frei sei .... Wir sind daraufhin etwas irritiert vom Umgangston gegangen. 20 Sekunden später kam ein Kollege raus und wollte uns erzählen das Grad wer abgesagt hätte und es jetzt doch möglich wäre... Kann ich kaum glauben aber er hat sich bemüht die Situation zu retten. Der Ton der Dame war aber so daneben das wir dankend abgelehnt haben und das unser letzter Besuch dort war. Waren dann im 5 Minuten Entfernten Restaurant "Schlupf", hier war tatsächlich alles voll, uns wurde aber ein Tisch zusammengestellt und Stühle geholt damit wir Platz finden, gute deutsche Küche, sehr nettes Personal, toller Service, sehr zu empfehlen! (Nicht aber das Allegro)

Was the last time! We ate here regularly (every 1-2 months) when we were visiting family in Pforzheim, the food was averagely good, prices as usual. Today we were there spontaneously with 8 people, 2/3 of the tables were empty, one table (visible from the outside) had a reserved sign, so it was anything but full. We were asked in a very rude manner whether we had reserved, we hadn't, it was made clear to us even more rudely that that wasn't possible and after a "look" at the calendar the lady told us that there was no table available.... We are then left, somewhat irritated by the tone. 20 seconds later a colleague came out and wanted to tell us that someone had canceled and that it was now possible... I can hardly believe it, but he tried to save the situation. But the lady's tone was so wrong that we politely declined and it was our last visit there. We then went to the “Schlupf” restaurant, 5 minutes away, where everything was actually full, but a table was put together and chairs were brought for us so we could find space, good German cuisine, very nice staff, great service, highly recommended! Dear people, or if you have already been here... fellow sufferers. 3 of the 4 people with us immediately suffered from stomach complaints. Not so strange, one pizza soaked in grease, the other burnt. The waiter had better go galloping on the horse racing track because he already has the blinders. It took on average, emotionally, about three working days before he came to take drinks again. And that drink was really necessary, because it was a tropical 28 degrees inside. Probably that the service was not that fast and good due to the tropical schedule. If you are still looking for a tasty bite in a good atmosphere, you will not find it here. (A stomach sphere) Greetings.

It was +28°C inside, the pizza base was burnt and the food poisoning immediately. Rarely have we had such a dirty meal, with such poor service. You get white beer instead of normal, if they offer you anything to drink at all. If you turn the corner you will come to the Mac, which is highly recommended.

Forgot an order and had to be reminded. Pizza good, salad good. Right at the street intersection. The prices are ok. I still prefer to go here than to the pizza chain in the city center. Overall, I prefer others in Germany. OK for Pforzheim.

So far I've picked up pizza twice and it was really tasty. Today it was Penne Al Forno. For the price it was a decent portion. That's the first impression. What I didn't like about it at all... There were at least two or more boiled eggs cut in and mixed in. At first I thought it was more mozzarella. There's nothing about it on the menu, otherwise I wouldn't have ordered it! That completely spoiled the taste! A huge thick layer of mozzarella on top, which lay like a tough lid on the pasta. I definitely won't order this dish again! Another star deduction for the answer.

Been to Allegro several times. Also tried other Italians in the area and I have to say Allegro is one of the best. As a spaghetti carbonara fan, I can say that it tastes just like in Italy. Others are inedible. Ate tortellini cheese cream sauce today, also super good. The bruscheta starter is always super good. Employees are nice and friendly. Service is great, I couldn't ask for better handling. Ambiance is right. Nice plants and candles on the table. Winter garden available.

I was passing through towards Munich, there was a traffic jam on the A8, and I stopped here. All in all, a pleasant surprise: the food tasted very good, the portion was filling, the service was attentive and the atmosphere was pleasant. I've written down the address for when I'm in the area again.

My favorite restaurant in Pforzheim every time I come from Mallorca I have to eat there, everything is delicious, the service is great, the atmosphere is nice and I can only recommend it

Unfortunately the tiramisu was out. The gnocchi was drowned in the tomato sauce and the mozzarella was more or less just decoration. And what's with the dill? Doesn't fit and doesn't look good either. Conclusion: The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was edible but nothing special.

We stayed at the hotel next door and ate at Allegro in the evening. Everything we had, from the drinks to the food, the coffee and the grappa afterwards, were simply outstanding. The service was friendly and accommodating and always kept an eye on everything. Really great and definitely recommended 😊. Thanks.

The staff works hard and is very nice and attentive. However, I noticed something. In my opinion, the pasta for the daily specials is already pre-cooked. And then they just heat up. We were a group of 11 people and had made a reservation...there was a table in the winter garden and because it was so humid there, we wanted to go out onto the terrace...we were refused because it obviously wouldn't be possible like that to get a lot of people to a table outside 🤔... very strange, since a table with 12 people on the terrace had just become free, we wanted to change but according to the waiter that wasn't possible either because he would now separate the two tables that had been put together again ...The food was good and plentiful...but I still don't understand this table logic 🫣

Delicious food and nice ambience. When the weather is sunny you can sit comfortably outside. Also nice staff, very attentive and always concerned about the well-being of the guests.

As part of my professional activity, I spent a longer stay in the neighboring hotel and thus had the opportunity to try out the menu. The dishes were always lovingly prepared and of consistently high quality. The service was always polite and courteous and responded to special requests. The atmosphere is modern and cozy. My conclusion: recommended, delicious!

The pizza is quite good, I won't eat anything else again. However, many other dishes give the impression of being finished products. Pasta dishes far too small. The portion of spaghetti carbonara is a joke for €12.50. Far too small a portion with a bland taste. The staff is always nice.

I ordered after what felt like 2 years, I didn't remember the prices anymore, but I knew that 29€ for 2 pizzas was too much when I paid (13.50 for salami mushrooms). I could have ordered a family pizza from Lieferando :( But still good in taste.

Everything I've tried so far has been very tasty. Pizza, salads, pasta and meat dishes were so plentiful that I didn't even have room for dessert. You can also tell that fresh ingredients are used here. The service is always quick and friendly. Our next family celebration will of course also be celebrated in the Allegro. Best regards

I have to say I'm extremely disappointed. I have never tasted such an inedible margarita pizza before.. it only consisted of cheese with no taste. My husband didn't like his food any better, turkey schnitzel was grilled for far too long and had no taste. Sauce was like water and also had no spice. The last time was 2 years ago and according to the waitress there was probably a different cook. Was the last visit. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone, I don't know how positive reviews come about...

Had pizza and a large salad. Salad was fresh, crunchy. Pizza tasted good but not crispy, much too soft. To do this, use knives that cut zero. We then laboriously crushed the soggy dough. It was so annoying that there was no joy.

Das Restaurant war gut gebucht, uns wurde aber ganz unbürokratisch ein Tisch zugewiesen. Nach der Bestellung hat es nur kurz gedauert, bis unsere Pizzen auf dem Tisch standen. Diese waren sehr groß, gut belegt und am Rand schön kross. Auch der Wein war sehr lecker und preislich angemessen.

Food is delicious, nice atmosphere. Unfortunately the service is not perfect. You are not asked whether everything is OK or whether you would like to drink something else after half an hour with an empty glass. Sometimes you have to wait a long time for the waiter to take an order or for the food to come to us.
