That was a dream, service 10 stars (they were so nice, you could tell they were putting their hearts into it) and the food 10 stars. Everything was perfect and the taste was A1, we'll definitely be back.

We ate very well. starter variation, Duck, mushroom roast and Schlutzkrapfen (which mutate into cheese noodles) were excellent. Only the Wiener Schnitzel had a slight deduction - there was clearly a lack of salt and pepper under the breadcrumbs. The final highlight were the Salzburger Nockerl - both visually and taste-wise!

We had the beef wine menu. Food was very tasty, service perfect, super friendly and attentive! Absolute recommendation!

Our evening in the Tschebull restaurant in Hamburg was truly unforgettable! We celebrated our seven-year anniversary there and were able to sit at a beautiful table that provided just the right atmosphere for the special occasion. The starters – the tartare and the venison carpaccio – were an absolute delight, excellently prepared and full of delicate flavors. The mushroom roast as the main course was another highlight, perfect to the point and full of flavor. The absolute icing on the cake, however, was the dessert: the Salzburger Nockerl. Light, fluffy and simply incredibly delicious – a real signature dish that you have to try! Particularly worth mentioning are the excellent wine recommendations, which complemented the dishes perfectly. The service was attentive, friendly and extremely professional throughout the evening, so we felt completely at home. All in all, it was a fantastic experience and we will definitely be back soon to enjoy these culinary highlights again. Many thanks to the entire Tschebull team for this unforgettable evening!

Was recommended by colleagues as a place to visit and it did not disappoint. So many great things on the menu, but I went for the ceviche and the Weinerschnitzel, both were excellent and not too heavy. Service was excellent, attentive but not intrusive.

It's really great here. Very tasty food and good selection. The only thing that isn't quite right for me is the price/performance ratio.

We were a group of 15, and although the restaurant accepted our reservation, they were not prepared to give a good service to a group of this size.

a bit too friendly, as soon as you sit down, you are asked "whether you should bring a cremant or an appetizer" without having time to study the menu, and when you asked that you needed a moment, "may I give you water?" bring", it seemed quite intrusive to be honest. If you choose the Ösiver dishes, you will be served the soup twice (and charged), but it is advertised as a favor. And asked again if you like water "now"... that was really too much I-must-make-sales-friendliness. And for just under 40 euros, the chanterelles were either frozen or the blandest ever. All in all, the attention is really too much, you don't have any peace and quiet to eat, the feeling that the table has to be put back down again and that you have to make as much sales as possible in that time. There are restaurants that manage to make the time more enjoyable with more "casual" but still attention-grabbing, ... the money doesn't make for a good atmosphere!

Unfortunately I can only give the Tschebull one star. The ambience is great. However, the negative features outweigh the negatives. I advise people with celiac disease not to visit. Neither the waitress nor the chef really knew what celiac disease and gluten meant. I should have known better when I included the answer that the dish was vegan and therefore gluten-free. What does vegan have to do with gluten-free? Nothing. So we asked the kitchen several times whether the food could be made gluten-free. According to the service staff and chef, this wasn't a problem. So we received the food and after the first bite it was clear that the food couldn't be gluten free. So we asked again and oh dear, they discovered that they had actually used soy sauce. Both the chef and server apologized and took the entrees off the bill. However, this is only a small compensation for such an accident and the resulting consequences for those suffering from celiac disease. The visit was topped off at the end by a mouse running happily through the restaurant. Staff said they already knew about the mouse and had set up traps. An absolute no-go for a restaurant on the first floor! It was also a shame for my companion that the majority of the staff who served us spoke little or no English. Only one service employee was able to answer fluently. It was clearly our first and last visit to Tschebull.

Super friendly welcome, nice menu (food and wine!), fried avocado and glazed liver were absolutely top, the mixed set was really tasty, and the small Kaiserschmarrn was nice and small, but not too small. Full marks!

The two of us made a reservation here and were able to really enjoy the gourmet summer here. This is mainly thanks to Lauernda's attentive service. Many thanks to the entire Tschebull team. We'll be back and are especially looking forward to the schnitzel ☺️

Very friendly service. The food was great again. Tafelspitz and rack of lamb. The pork belly with spicy red cabbage was new to me and very tasty. The Salzburger Nockerln are a must! Be sure to order. Addendum August 10th, 2024: we celebrated our birthday with 12 people in the Tschebull. We sat in the wine lounge, everything was perfect. This is how I imagine an evening. Thank you.

Excellent food, unfortunately the waitress was in a bit of a hurry with us. We had barely finished the delicious bread that had been served beforehand when the main course arrived. The wine was poured very quickly, even though there was still enough in the glass. We had the feeling that our (pre-reserved) table was needed for other guests.

The restaurant is beautiful, with three different rooms and two large and pleasant rooms. The food is elaborate, good product and good treatment. Claudia attended to us, charming, close and polite. In an Austrian restaurant in Hamburg, if you are Spanish, having someone explain the menu to you in your language is priceless. It changes the experience and improves it greatly. An added value. I would recommend the restaurant for a nice dinner.

There were no young people around, so I was able to eat quietly and slowly. Cowbells hang from the ceiling, creating a nice atmosphere. I had the bone-in lamb meat and it was very delicious. It is about a 5 minute walk from Hamburg Central Station.

Authentic, crispy, and very tasteful wiener schnitzel

The four of us had a really perfect evening last Saturday (and I don't write that in the review so often lately!). The table wasn't ready 10 minutes before the reserved time, which is really not a big deal. The very nice receptionist showed us to the bar and gave us a drink of our choice on the house! We have rarely had such a professional and friendly welcome. The Schlumberger Rose' in a wonderful glass was cool and sparkling. The table by the window was successful, the restaurant inside was elegant with a subtle Austrian touch and really beautiful. Our waiter Can was a very attentive, eloquent and professionally experienced service person who brought the food to the table hot and at appropriate intervals. The Tafelspitz is a poem, the Kaiserschmarrn is really great, with the slightly sour plum compote. The wine recommendation with the food was also good. The evening with top-class cuisine, superior service and a chic ambience impressed all four of us equally. Yes, the prices are high, but if the evening “goes well” it is justified as an “overall result”. And not very many restaurants can deliver that….

Highly priced? Yes. Rightly so. Highest quality of food, wonderful selection, very professional, attentive service. The quartet of starters makes you forget that you ultimately have to decide on the main courses. My Limoncello Sprizz is more delicious than anywhere else. And you can also get the Kaiserschmarrn as a small portion for dessert. The location and ambience in the beautiful Levantehaus complete the wonderful impression.

You sit at Tschebull in Hamburg and have the feeling of being in the middle of the beautiful mountains of Austria. It is definitely worth a visit! The service, the food, the quality and the atmosphere are really great!

You know, the food tasted great and the atmosphere was good too. There was a waiter who for some reason shouted when he tried to speak to a colleague in English, it was strange, but you can ignore that, maybe he was nervous... But what is absolutely not possible is that we saw a mouse running around and the staff reacted to it calmly, as if it were normal... This is a top restaurant with high prices!!! What is a mouse doing there! The food was heavier in the stomach afterwards. Unfortunately!

Great service, nice ambience, warm light. The vegetarian food was very tasty, beautifully presented, but unfortunately a smaller portion than meat dishes. The Kaiserschmarren was an absolute poem. Ice cream, plums, caramel - a dream.

It was my first time at Tschebull and I have to say it totally surprised me. At first I was a bit skeptical because it was in a shopping center, but then I was really happy. The service, Alex was our waiter, reserved but on point and friendly. The food was simply delicious and all in all a successful evening. Recommended!!!

Great food, but extremely noisy place.

We have eaten at Tschebull a few times as the restaurant is known for its good schnitzels. However, today the evening didn't go as planned because mice were running across the restaurant. Sorry guys, that doesn't work at all! Gastro and rodents are of course not a new phenomenon, but some information that the creatures are running all over the place wouldn't have been bad. My evening is over, thanks for nothing.

Completely successful evening. Very creative starter variations, with the porcini mushroom soup in particular being an aromatic poem. Fish for the main course to the point. Dessert Salzburger Nockerl of size and taste is spectacular. Great service, the gentleman served us with just the right mix of friendliness and professionalism, even though it was quite busy. We were there for dinner on March 10th. Paid a big bill. Unfortunately we didn't get the greeting from the kitchen. What a shame!!

Here you get a good schnitzel and solid side dishes, at a relatively high price. The service is good, friendly and attentive. My food came very quickly and there was a delicious greeting from the kitchen beforehand. In terms of price, this is certainly not the cheapest restaurant here, but that is certainly not to be expected in this location.

Unfortunately it was the last time there. None of the courses were convincing. The schnitzel was tough for all three of us. The wine wasn't refilled, so we had to look for our bottle ourselves. The table wasn't cleared and the courses took forever. Price performance doesn't match at all anymore... I was still annoyed days later that I didn't go to another restaurant.

Absolutely not recommended! I'm sorry but I can't contain my disappointment about the experience at this restaurant. The schnitzel was tough and the starter arrived as late as the main course and dessert. The service was incredibly bad. Despite empty drinks at the table, no waiter came. Our order of a bottle of wine was not served at the table. But stored elsewhere and the refilling always took place with an incomprehensible delay. Although we wanted to have another drink and order a dessert, the first waitress forgot to bring us the dessert menu and we had to ask another waiter for the menu. We were offered a third plate for dessert, which was intended for two people. However, it was empty and cost a whopping €8.50 without prior notice. Overall, the food was disappointing and the service left a lot to be desired. Apparently you only pay for the location, as the restaurant is in the middle of the city. For an upscale restaurant the service was disappointing and not even close to the level of a mid-range restaurant. Especially since we paid over €300 for three people. We were forced to wait an unreasonably long time for everything. Although not all tables were occupied and there were more than 3 waiters on site. I'm sorry but I can't recommend this restaurant.

Very attentive service, nice atmosphere. I had the classic Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad. The schnitzel is not memorable, rather disappointing, and the potato salad is very tasty. I cry too... as a transient I can't say anything about the price. It costs less where I live... overall I was satisfied... but again, not so much

Upscale class with a nice ambience The service is very courteous and polite. The service at the table is well trained and makes a great impression. The ambience is really great. When a bar or restaurant is so beautifully decorated, the stay is much more enjoyable and the food tastes even better 😊Although, there is nothing wrong with the food. The Wienerschnitzel was absolutely perfect. The meat was tender and the breading had nice bubbles, as you would expect. Other dishes also looked inviting. We would definitely come back. 5 stars are absolutely deserved.

Hi waren Anfang Januar vor Ort. Nette freundliche Location Bedienung aufmerksam freundlich und gut. Vorspeise und Hauptspeise waren wirklich gut und ausreichend. Das Ganze hat auch seinen Preis. Ciao Mario Falke P.S. Hatten für einen Campari Orange keinen Orangensaft mehr !

Wir haben kurzfristig reserviert und wurde nett begrüßt. Die Auswahl an Gerichten ist reichlich und der Service zuvorkommend. Das Essen war in Ordnung, einige der Kartoffeln im Kartoffelsalat waren aber noch nicht ganz durch.

Der erstklassige Service beginnt schon bei der netten Begrüßung am Eingang, der Entgegennahme unserer Jacken und Mäntel und der Begleitung durch die für uns zuständige Kellnerin bis zum bestellten Tisch. Das Personal war freundlich, aufmerksam, zuvorkommend. Unsere Bestellungen wurden in den richtigen Zeitabständen serviert, immer wieder nach weiteren Getränkewünschen nachgefragt. Trotz ausgebuchtem Restaurant herrschte eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Ein sehr gut koordinierter, zügiger Serviceablauf. Unsere Gerichte waren perfekt zubereitet. Von der Vorspeise, verschiedene Tapas und Rindertatar, über dem Hauptgericht bis zum Dessert. Das Wiener Schnitzel mit knuspriger Panade hatte eine beachtliche Größe. Der Kartoffelsalat dazu entsprach nicht ganz unseren Vorstellungen. Aber Geschmackssache. Höhepunkt zum Abschluss die Salzburger Nockerln. Schon das Erscheinungsbild mit den drei charakteristischen Hügeln und leicht gebräunter Oberfläche sah schon lecker aus. Die luftigen Teigteile mit Vanillesauce geschmacklich genial. Auch der Kaiserschmarrn war ausgezeichnet. Empfehlen können wir als Aperitif Limoncello Spritz, Port Tonic und die hausgemachte Limonade. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis absolut gerechtfertigt. Ein wunderbarer Abend.

Wir kennen das Tschebull seit zwei Jahren und waren bei allen Besuchen im vergangenen Jahr absolut begeistert. Da wir nicht aus Hamburg kommen, bietet sich uns nicht allzu oft die Gelegenheit, in diesem Lokal zu speisen. Besonders angetan waren wir immer von den Salzburger Nockerln, die auch explizit auf der Webseite beworben werden und eigentlich der Hauptgrund für unsere wiederkehrenden Besuche waren. Dieses Jahr haben wir es 4 mal ins Tschebull geschafft, quer übers Jahr verteilt und die Salzburger Nockerln gab es bei keinem der Besuche. Mal fehlte Personal, mal waren zu viele Gäste da, heute schob man es auf Silvester. Wenn wir dem Tschebull nochmal eine Chance geben würden, hätte vermutlich ein Meteorit in der Küche eingeschlagen, weswegen es heute "ausnahmsweise" mal nur die anderen Desserts gäbe. Das Lokal ist im oberen Preissegment angesiedelt, und dafür geht die Zubereitung wirklich extrem schnell. 3 Gänge in einer Stunde sprechen für sich. Die Qualität der Speisen ist durchwachsen, der Salat zum Schnitzel hätte sich über etwas Dressing gefreut, das Schnitzel war rech zäh. Das Ambiente leidet unter der Masse an Tischen, es ist unfassbar laut. Beim reservieren über Open Table kann man den Bereich auswählen, wo man sitzen möchte, klappt tatsächlich nie, da selbst das Servicepersonal nicht weiß, wo eigentlich welcher der 3 Bereiche ist. Alles in allem ist das Massenabfertigung und dafür ist es einfach zu teuer. Zum Schluss noch ein Tipp für Liebhaber der Salzburger Nockerln, man bekommt diese für einen Bruchteil des im Tschebull aufgerufenen Preises in einem anderen Lokal unweit des Tschebulls. Für uns war das heute der letzte Besuch, das geht einfach besser.

Guter Wein, gutes Essen, guter Service. Der Salat hätte ein wenig pfiffiger sein können. Ansonsten ein wunderbarer Besuch! Ein besonderes Lob an den Service! Immer zur Stelle und stets Humorvoll und Sympathisch

Es war ein TOP Essen und hier stimmt einfach ALLES. Wir waren zu 100% zufrieden und der Service war einwandfrei.

War jetzt das zweite Mal dort essen und find es sehr lecker. Tolle Atmosphäre, Preis/Leistung ist im Rahmen, Personal ist insgesamt top. Mir fehlen nur noch mehr vegetarische/vegane Gerichte. Jeweils 1 pro Gang ist für mich persönlich zu wenig Auswahl.
