Allegria Gastronomie GmbH in Hamburg

I said in advance that I would like to give it more than 5 stars, but unfortunately that's not possible. After we found the restaurant on the first floor of the Levante House (a small escalator goes directly to the entrance), we were shown straight to the table. The restaurant is beautifully furnished and of high quality. The menu has many Austrian specialties to offer. Since we are Vienna fans, we have already eaten various of these delicacies “on site”. The Tschebull offers everything in excellent quality and taste. For us the best potato salad, perfect Viennese schnitzel, but also the veal liver was as soft as a great beef fillet! There were two more highlights: Be sure to leave room for the Salzburger Nockeln (enough for four) and I received a birthday serenade with small table fireworks from the really outstanding waitress - the photos say the rest - an absolute recommendation!

Yesterday we were in Tschebull for the first time and we don't have to repeat it. Like many others, we sat "in the aisle" and it was very cold there. Of course, the service staff are constantly walking past with new guests and that doesn't allow for peace and quiet while eating. The starter "Ösi Tapas" was great, there was nothing to complain about, as was the main course, for me there was boiled beef, super tender, really a dream, great potato variation with it, I've only had it better in Bochum at an Austrian restaurant. My daughter had the schnitzel, also TOP. The chairs and benches are not upholstered, so you sit on wood, which gets annoying after dessert if you have been sitting for a long time. For dessert, I'm very sorry but I have to say this, we had 2 portions of by far the worst Kaiserschmarren I've ever had. There were 5 solid pieces on the plate, which may have been a free interpretation of the chef and could only be enjoyed with the good vanilla ice cream. If we had only had one portion, I would have thought something had gone badly wrong, but since both had the same consistency with the fatty taste, I have to say it was nothing. The staff is neutral. At no point did I feel like a “guest” or just a customer. (Don't get me wrong, none of the staff were unfriendly!) Friends of ours had been there before and couldn't find anything negative, so everyone should form their own opinion. In my opinion, absolutely no recommendation for the usual hospitable Austrian cuisine (We are in Salzburger Land and/or Tyrol at least twice every year)

Best schnitzel? Unfortunately I cannot confirm. The service was very good. But the food only 2 stars. First of all, duck liver paté. That was also very good. Then veal schnitzel and boiled beef. The breading of the veal schnitzel was partly bland and not baked properly. Overall, the veal schnitzel and the boiled beef were bland and not very tasty. The Tafelspitz also comes with a green (Frankfurt) sauce (not spinach sauce) and a classic apple horseradish. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio only gives 2 stars. Too expensive for what is offered.

Suckling pig - simply delicious! And the veal liver tasted very good too. With that a tasty rosé - perfect!

Above all, the service is excellent - very friendly, very attentive. The food was great. The atmosphere in the rooms is pleasant, cozy. A small minus: the acoustics are a bit annoying when there are a lot of guests. But you can live with that.

Perfect Austrian cuisine in the middle of Hamburg. The four of us ate schnitzel and were completely thrilled.

We were in a room with a group of 14 people. The equipment was very simple. The service was friendly. The food was average, although the starter was very good.

The food is excellent, big compliments to the kitchen! You couldn't eat Kaiserschmarrn better in Austria! Warm ambience in the chic Levante house, enough space between the tables and you can see the kitchen through a window. The service is very good and courteous, but could be a little more calm.

Eating out with children is often a challenge in itself. It's clear from the moment you walk in that service is very important here. The children eat in advance: no problem. A scoop of ice cream in between: no problem at all. Children's chair and Lego box for activity were also found straight away. And despite childish chaos, the team remains absolutely professional and friendly. Oh yes, the most important thing: the food was exceptionally good. Authentic Austrian cuisine. Always my pleasure.

Probably the best schnitzel north of the Elbe. Top location in the Levante House, great ambience and good service. However, the Kaiserschmarren is better in real Austria ;-)

The meal was excellent. Austrian cuisine at a high level: beetroot with a sour cream and spice background (black "ash" like in star restaurants). Homemade cheese dumplings, beef broth handcrafted with dumplings and a meat patty like we've never had before. Fantastic!! (We lived in Bavaria for many years) Service warm, competent and fast. Thanks to the lady in the black suit for the wine recommendation. This service team is great, it's rare to find these days!

We were looking for a restaurant with delicious original "Wiener Schnitzel" and found it here. Everything was perfect, the waiters were above average attentive and were there straight away when we wanted to order something. The only drawback was that our jackets were not taken away at the entrance, even though the other guests were. Maybe the lady wasn't as attentive at that moment or "forgot" it. We recommend this restaurant whether for a family, a date or a business lunch.

If you're looking for delicacies from Austria 🇦🇹, this is the right place for you - right in the middle of Hamburg. If you love Wiener Schnitzel or Kaiserschmarren, you have to try it at Tschebull. Top service, top ambience. The food came quickly and was of top quality.

Perfect service. Very good food. I come to the Levantehaus once or twice a year, mainly at Christmas time, after a Christmas stroll through the city and enjoy the Tafelspitz.

We had a very nice evening at Tschebull. The high table in the corner was very comfortable. The service was excellent, very attentive and without being intrusive. The meal was excellent. The deer carpaccio with caramelized hazelnuts is particularly recommended. We'd love to come back.

Unfortunately I only had two courses for lunch because of a late breakfast that day. Cevice was as it should be, not a copy of the South American version! A little more acid wouldn't have been wrong either. The second thing that was served was the mushroom goulash. The sauce was so good that I wanted to ask for a spoon. The wine I chose was the Veltliner Kamptal, which went very well with the first course and wasn't too wrong with the second. I can't say much about the ambience, I was seated very close to the entrance. I will definitely come back to dinner one day, because the menu still promises a lot.

We have now been there a second time because we really enjoyed it. A pleasant atmosphere, very attentive employees and delicious food. There is a small deduction because the boiled beef was a bit tough, but otherwise everyone was very satisfied. It won't be the last time.

It was a very nice evening. We celebrated my sister-in-law's 90th birthday with you. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Everyone enjoyed the food very much. The crowning glory was the fire 🔥 factory with birthday serenades from the staff.

The duck was top notch, the bottle of wine was excellent and the service was really top and hard, even though it was full. Clear recommendation 👍 At the next table there was schnitzel and Salzburger dumplings, which also looked great. Ok, with starters, water, espresso, schnapps and a tip it came to €225 for two people... but it was a wedding anniversary so it was appropriate.

I wasn't impressed by the food in the restaurant, but the service was. Veg. GOULASH ordered, it arrived lukewarm and soft-boiled. For around €30. Communicated it. I'm not coming back.

Simply great service and top quality food.

It was just great here. I have to say I ate the best Wiener Schnitzel so far here (if anyone else has a tip about this in Hamburg, give it to me). The starter for two to share was also delicious, especially the Parmesan soup. The staff is friendly and quick and it's not too loud here, which I appreciated if you wanted to have a conversation.

It is one of my favourite restaurants in Hamburg. They have authentic Austrian dishes, perfect service, and it's a beautiful restaurant. Try the Wiener Schnitzel. There is a wheelchair-accessible toilet in the hotel next door.

As a starter there was “Alpine Cevice made from flamed fjord trout”. The dish was very refreshing with the sweet mustard, radishes and a hint of citrus. The main course was the dish “Schwammerrostbraten”, which consisted of a 200g rump steak with wild mushrooms, leaf spinach, red wine jus and truffle fries. The steak melted in your mouth. The highlight for me were the fries, which, with their aromatic truffle taste, went really well with the meat and didn't seem like a side dish, but like a second star of the show. So I was very happy that there was a bowl with a generous amount of it. For dessert there was the “caramelized curd cream strudel” with marinated blackberries and mulled wine ice cream. The mulled wine ice cream was definitely an experience and already makes you dream of Christmas. The strudel was light and airy and made an already lovely evening an even better end. When it comes to the ambience, it can be said that there was a lot going on there and therefore the volume was a bit higher. It is still possible to have conversations without any problems. The furnishings are elegant and are reminiscent of the Austrian Alps, for example through the cowbells in the ceiling design. During the course of the evening the lights were dimmed a bit. The service was very attentive and friendly. Even though the prices are high, it's definitely worth it for the experience and the quality of the food. A reservation, which is also possible online, is definitely recommended.

The TSCHEBULL is an excellent restaurant - you don't even know where to start praising it. Then I'll run it the way I felt from entry to end. The first obstacle was to be found in the passage. Until the name caught my eye on the first floor. From the outside it could have been a shop with the large windows. But as soon as you entered you could marvel at the ambience and interior. Everything looked classy and selected. We had a table of 12. This was beautifully set and the next eye-catcher with the original cloth napkins. The service was friendly and convincing. Attention was paid to a number of details, e.g. adding the bread. We certainly didn't make it easy for the kitchen when we ordered the menu from top to bottom. Even if it is clear, there is no longer any need for a court. Bread on the spot with the dip that could have had a bit more of a kick and the onion pieces (which I would pass through a sieve). That is and remains the only point of criticism. The bread with its crust is super tasty and as already described. It was always followed up and the wines suggested were a dream. All dishes, starters and main courses were served at the same time. A great performance for the size of the table. All the dishes, in their simplicity, demonstrated great finesse both in terms of taste and visual appearance. This is star-worthy, even if it is “just” Austrian cuisine. The tartare deserves special mention here. The foray into desserts was confirmation of the entire cuisine, the Kaiserschmarrn with its caramelization was a delight. Even if the prices of the dishes are higher. Is it worth every penny. It was a unique experience. I'll be happy to come back.

Very tasty and extremely friendly. We had tartare as a starter and duck and schnitzel as a main course. They were normal-sized portions in a great atmosphere!

The food was, as always, very good. The service was subpar: we waited almost an hour for the main course. Then this came, but unfortunately it was the wrong main course. The digestivo came twice. As an Austrian who has arrived in northern Germany, you always miss your home cuisine, especially apart from a kitschy Gamsbart-like atmosphere. We had an extremely beautiful, stylish and, above all, fantastic culinary evening. Starting with a Tompinabur wheat beer soup that appealed to the last senses, the evening was rounded off with one of the best Kaiserschmarrn of my life.

Always happy to come here. This restaurant is a sure bet for consistent quality over the years. The only thing I had to complain about was that the food came too quickly that evening, much too quickly. We wanted to start with 2 glasses of port wine tonic and choose a bottle of wine... then the food arrived. But, as always, it was simply delicious.

We ate very well. starter variation, Duck, mushroom roast and Schlutzkrapfen (which mutate into cheese noodles) were excellent. Only the Wiener Schnitzel had a slight deduction - there was clearly a lack of salt and pepper under the breadcrumbs. The final highlight were the Salzburger Nockerl - both visually and taste-wise!

That was a dream, service 10 stars (they were so nice, you could tell they were putting their hearts into it) and the food 10 stars. Everything was perfect and the taste was A1, we'll definitely be back.

Our evening in the Tschebull restaurant in Hamburg was truly unforgettable! We celebrated our seven-year anniversary there and were able to sit at a beautiful table that provided just the right atmosphere for the special occasion. The starters – the tartare and the venison carpaccio – were an absolute delight, excellently prepared and full of delicate flavors. The mushroom roast as the main course was another highlight, perfect to the point and full of flavor. The absolute icing on the cake, however, was the dessert: the Salzburger Nockerl. Light, fluffy and simply incredibly delicious – a real signature dish that you have to try! Particularly worth mentioning are the excellent wine recommendations, which complemented the dishes perfectly. The service was attentive, friendly and extremely professional throughout the evening, so we felt completely at home. All in all, it was a fantastic experience and we will definitely be back soon to enjoy these culinary highlights again. Many thanks to the entire Tschebull team for this unforgettable evening!

Very nice food and good service!

a bit too friendly, as soon as you sit down, you are asked "whether you should bring a cremant or an appetizer" without having time to study the menu, and when you asked that you needed a moment, "may I give you water?" bring", it seemed quite intrusive to be honest. If you choose the Ösiver dishes, you will be served the soup twice (and charged), but it is advertised as a favor. And asked again if you like water "now"... that was really too much I-must-make-sales-friendliness. And for just under 40 euros, the chanterelles were either frozen or the blandest ever. All in all, the attention is really too much, you don't have any peace and quiet to eat, the feeling that the table has to be put back down again and that you have to make as much sales as possible in that time. There are restaurants that manage to make the time more enjoyable with more "casual" but still attention-grabbing, ... the money doesn't make for a good atmosphere!

So friends, the lamb shoulder was from another planet. Truffle and potato mash was excellent and the red wine jus was very tasty. Recommended!

Food was delicious but the experience was ruined by the service. Waitress was pushy and overselling from the time we sat down. What really ruined it was her trying to add on a higher tip than what was offered at the end.

Unfortunately I can only give the Tschebull one star. The ambience is great. However, the negative features outweigh the negatives. I advise people with celiac disease not to visit. Neither the waitress nor the chef really knew what celiac disease and gluten meant. I should have known better when I included the answer that the dish was vegan and therefore gluten-free. What does vegan have to do with gluten-free? Nothing. So we asked the kitchen several times whether the food could be made gluten-free. According to the service staff and chef, this wasn't a problem. So we received the food and after the first bite it was clear that the food couldn't be gluten free. So we asked again and oh dear, they discovered that they had actually used soy sauce. Both the chef and server apologized and took the entrees off the bill. However, this is only a small compensation for such an accident and the resulting consequences for those suffering from celiac disease. The visit was topped off at the end by a mouse running happily through the restaurant. Staff said they already knew about the mouse and had set up traps. An absolute no-go for a restaurant on the first floor! It was also a shame for my companion that the majority of the staff who served us spoke little or no English. Only one service employee was able to answer fluently. It was clearly our first and last visit to Tschebull.

Super friendly welcome, nice menu (food and wine!), fried avocado and glazed liver were absolutely top, the mixed set was really tasty, and the small Kaiserschmarrn was nice and small, but not too small. Full marks!

Very friendly service. The food was great again. Tafelspitz and rack of lamb. The pork belly with spicy red cabbage was new to me and very tasty. The Salzburger Nockerln are a must! Be sure to order. Addendum August 10th, 2024: we celebrated our birthday with 12 people in the Tschebull. We sat in the wine lounge, everything was perfect. This is how I imagine an evening. Thank you.

Excellent food, unfortunately the waitress was in a bit of a hurry with us. We had barely finished the delicious bread that had been served beforehand when the main course arrived. The wine was poured very quickly, even though there was still enough in the glass. We had the feeling that our (pre-reserved) table was needed for other guests.

The restaurant is beautiful, with three different rooms and two large and pleasant rooms. The food is elaborate, good product and good treatment. Claudia attended to us, charming, close and polite. In an Austrian restaurant in Hamburg, if you are Spanish, having someone explain the menu to you in your language is priceless. It changes the experience and improves it greatly. An added value. I would recommend the restaurant for a nice dinner.

There were no young people around, so I was able to eat quietly and slowly. Cowbells hang from the ceiling, creating a nice atmosphere. I had the bone-in lamb meat and it was very delicious. It is about a 5 minute walk from Hamburg Central Station.

Authentic, crispy, and very tasteful wiener schnitzel

The four of us had a really perfect evening last Saturday (and I don't write that in the review so often lately!). The table wasn't ready 10 minutes before the reserved time, which is really not a big deal. The very nice receptionist showed us to the bar and gave us a drink of our choice on the house! We have rarely had such a professional and friendly welcome. The Schlumberger Rose' in a wonderful glass was cool and sparkling. The table by the window was successful, the restaurant inside was elegant with a subtle Austrian touch and really beautiful. Our waiter Can was a very attentive, eloquent and professionally experienced service person who brought the food to the table hot and at appropriate intervals. The Tafelspitz is a poem, the Kaiserschmarrn is really great, with the slightly sour plum compote. The wine recommendation with the food was also good. The evening with top-class cuisine, superior service and a chic ambience impressed all four of us equally. Yes, the prices are high, but if the evening “goes well” it is justified as an “overall result”. And not very many restaurants can deliver that….

Highly priced? Yes. Rightly so. Highest quality of food, wonderful selection, very professional, attentive service. The quartet of starters makes you forget that you ultimately have to decide on the main courses. My Limoncello Sprizz is more delicious than anywhere else. And you can also get the Kaiserschmarrn as a small portion for dessert. The location and ambience in the beautiful Levantehaus complete the wonderful impression.

You sit at Tschebull in Hamburg and have the feeling of being in the middle of the beautiful mountains of Austria. It is definitely worth a visit! The service, the food, the quality and the atmosphere are really great!

overall very good, but a little bit missing from the fifth star in each category. The sauce for the fish was a bit oversalted, there were too many waiters bustling around at our table and for the price it was a bit too much in quantity... which can't be said about Kaiserschmarrn. So it's really good, but it also has its price
