I ordered pasta and plov. The pasta with salmon arrived half an hour later, after I'd finished my plov. My rice with beef and carrot salad was okay, but the portion was small and the meat was very dry. Drink prices are reasonable. A 0.2 liter of wine costs €5. Very spacious outdoor area, but also very uneven. Beer benches, standard dining tables, and lounge bar furniture.

Newly renovated Nature Friends House with a lovely, shady beer garden near the wave pool. We had pelmeni, which were very good. The staff was attentive and friendly.

I recently ate at Alkmann in the Bootshaus and was absolutely thrilled! The atmosphere is incredibly cozy—the side room, in particular, offers a lovely sense of privacy. The service was very friendly and attentive, making a visit to the restaurant a truly enjoyable experience.

Here, in the green surroundings, you can enjoy delicious dishes and drinks in wonderful peace and quiet. A wide vegetarian selection is also available. We recommend the Plinis and the Nutria. The former is a cross between malted Maultaschen and pancakes. The latter, as a special offer, comes fresh from a Palatinate hunter and tastes like a very good chicken.

The staff is super friendly and helpful; you feel welcome from the very first minute and are served promptly. They offer a wide menu with Russian, Uzbek, and German dishes, so there's something for everyone. The homemade lemonade is highly recommended, and the Russian dishes were particularly well-suited to our taste. Georg was there to take care of us around the clock, so thank you for that. All in all, highly recommended and we'd be happy to return!

The shashlik was extremely tender. The plov (Uzbek rice dish) and pelmeni are also highly recommended. We were very satisfied with our visit and would gladly return.

We were here with a large group and were absolutely thrilled by the excellent service and the food we received. The outdoor ambiance was very pleasant and the atmosphere perfect. There was a playground for the kids, which meant they had a great time. We'd be happy to come back anytime!

Two of us were there today. The location is really great. A lovely, cozy beer garden with a variety of seating options. The welcome was very warm. There was initially only one other table occupied besides us. There were no other guests. The food we ordered was terrific. There's absolutely nothing to complain about. It's honest, authentic cuisine at really fair prices. It's also great to be able to try a less common cuisine. There's plenty of Greek, Italian, and Asian options, so this cuisine is a welcome change. The mango passion fruit lemonade in the carafe was also delicious. The service, however, was like a pair of numb feet. The menu arrived quickly, and everything we ordered arrived promptly. We sat for a really long time and wanted dessert after our meal. The waiter was nowhere to be seen for a long time, and when they did, it was without even making eye contact. Our empty plates sat on the table for at least 20 minutes. Not once did anyone come to the table on their own initiative to ask if we wanted to order anything else. You had to wave or shout expansively to get attention. With only two tables occupied, that's really not a good thing. The service was also rather lazy and sluggish. Hardly a smile or any interaction with the guests. Even when we wanted another drink, we had to take the initiative ourselves. I went in to pay myself, otherwise I might still be sitting and waiting. Nevertheless, I will come again and hope that the service today was due to the heat. :-)

Delicious and healthy food served by exceptionally friendly staff in a pleasant atmosphere: what more could you want? You can dine inside, outside in the greenery, or on the terrace with a fireplace. Afterwards, you can take a stroll along the banks of the Rhine or along the old Rhine. Quite good value for money. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We couldn't judge how the food tasted, after waiting for half an hour we decided to leave, if it takes you more than half an hour for the menu, how long do you have to wait for the food at the table next door, the guests tried to address the conditions a few times and they kept saying "give me a few seconds" and nothing happened, it was well staffed but not too much, no idea what was going on but that's how you scare away guests, we decided to come during the week, maybe we'll have better luck.

Delicious plov from the Kazan grill. Where else is that available? Otherwise good Russian cuisine. A visit is worth it.

We went for a walk along the Rhine and went to a restaurant for lunch. We didn't know the Alkmann, but we're very glad we were there :) The food was incredibly delicious, I had a hard time deciding and I'm sure I'll try some more dishes in the future! The service was also very personable, nice and accommodating. It is also a very nice location with a large terrace and even a small playground for children. I can absolutely recommend it!

We were in this restaurant for the first time today. We discovered it by chance as we were looking for a restaurant that was open on Good Friday. The location is very nice – the restaurant is in the forest, quiet and cozy. The service was pleasant and attentive, and the owner of the restaurant was particularly friendly. The dishes were varied and delicious. Serving the food was also pretty quick. Overall, the restaurant left a very positive impression - we would like to visit it again.

Rarely have we received such a friendly welcome in a restaurant as at Georg ("Alkmann"). The food is freshly prepared and tastes like home. Very tasty 😋. Price performance is simply right here and service is very important. This location is highly recommended. The great outdoor area invites you to linger longer on beautiful summer days.

Today I was there for the first time. Great beer garden. Very nice location. However, not everything was great. So a little criticism. Service was ok. Also had long waiting times. I had drinks. Town hall simply delicious. Very good temperature. We had fries and blemi to eat. If I order the blemi without sauce there should at least be powdered sugar on it. Great fries. As I said, once the food was there it was good. However, the waiting time is still too long. I'd love to come back to see that things get better. Despite it. Keep it up. You are on the right track.

Seven of us went to the restaurant for lunch today. We received very friendly service. The food was authentic and delicious. Everything was freshly prepared. We were all very satisfied, even though we ordered different dishes. The sweet blini and cake for dessert were also delicious. Absolutely excellent value for money.

Well... we wanted to try it and unfortunately it didn't meet our expectations.

What awaits you here is not “haute cuisine”, but rather down-to-earth and authentic Russian cuisine. The typical classics such as pelmeni, shashlik and borscht are served here, and for the less adventurous palate, the traditional German schnitzel with fries is also available in various variations. Very nice and hospitable owner. The outdoor area/beer garden also offers a lot of potential for the warmer season and is also ideal for excursionists. You should definitely try it out, especially if you have a fondness for culinary delights from the Eastern Bloc.

We were in the restaurant today with 3 people. At first we were pleasantly surprised because we were immediately given a table. The menu is promising, but since some of the dishes offered on the menu were not available, we were disappointed when ordering for the first time. There was no drinks menu at all. When we asked after 45 minutes whether our food would be coming soon, we were told after a long discussion by the staff at the counter that the food would be available in about 20 minutes. There was no excuse for the waiting time so far. We didn't accept the additional waiting time and we left the restaurant.

We were there in a small group of 4 people and were given a very warm welcome. We tried our way through the menu, shared the different dishes with each other and were really impressed. An absolutely authentic, fairly priced and good-tasting recommendation.

Pelmeni was tasty but it isn’t the best restaurant with Russian cuisine in the Karlsruhe district. There is a restaurant who cooked pelmeni better. My subjective opinion - overprice for this portions. Normal portion costs 11€, big portion - 19€.

Called last Sunday to order. Unfortunately closed. Today I called again at midday and was told that they would definitely be there by 6 p.m., to which I said okay, I'll get in touch at 5 p.m. to order. When I called I was canceled again because it was already closed. And then just hung up. Sorry, that's not how you treat your customers. I won't try to order there again.

Had dinner there with girls and children. Super nice owner who served us! The owner asked if we wanted music or candles! Lovely:) The food exceeded our expectations: Vareniki were extremely tasty, homemade of course, you could see it and snails. My portion was definitely too big for me. About the salads: I have never eaten cucumbers and tomatoes like this in Germany: small, juicy and crunchy. Where did you get those? 😀 There was also seaweed salad, which I even ordered twice because it was simply DELICIOUS! Pancakes with coffee ended up being too much and we rolled out of the coffee with full bellies. Gladly again!

Waren dort essen. Netter Nebenraum. Hatten unsere Privatsphäre. Alle waren sehr nett. Und das Essen war sooooo lecker. Wir hatten von allem etwas. Borschtsch, Pelmeni, Wareniki, Tschebureki ,den Karottensalat sowie den Olivie Salat. Hierzu verdchiedene Dips. Ebenfalls süße Blinis. Jeder war total satt, es war sowas von gut. Und sehr schön angerichtet. Pelmeni fast wie bei Mama 🙂 Man schmeckt, das es selbst gemacht ist. War wirklich klasse, würden auf jeden Fall wieder dort essen oder bestellen.

Getestet und für gut befunden! Die Portionen könnten jedoch bei Lieferung etwas üppiger ausfallen.

Die Warniki kamen heiß und lecker an. Die Blinis waren auch super! Man merkt, dass alles handgemacht und frisch ist. Nur leider ist die vegetarische Auswahl sehr klein. Aber wenn wir wieder Lust auf Warniki haben, sehr gerne wieder!

Unglaublich leckeres Essen! Haben von Allem etwas probiert und werden hier wieder bestellen. Essen kam 15min später als angekündigt, Fahrerin hat die Adresse nicht gefunden und musste erst fragen, es wurde sich entschuldigt, super freundlich. Essen war warm, wirkte Alles handgemacht, selbst der Nudelteig. Die Portionen waren groß, 3 Blini mit Hähnchen, 10 Wareniki und bestimmt 15 Pelmeni und dazu ein Olivye Salat. Einzig bei dem Salat würde ich den Preis überdenken 😉 der Rest ist es alleine durch das handwerk und die frischen Zutaten voll wert. Vielen Dank! Update: Heute wieder bestellt, was soll ich sagen, ich liebe euer Essen, wieder super lecker und total freundliche Dame die geliefert hat. Vielen Dank!

Essen super lecker! Pelmeni waren geschmacklich erste Klasse. Der Teig hatte schön biss und die Füllung schmeckte sehr gut. Die Lieferung dauerte knapp 2h (Sonntag Abend). Eigentlich hätte ich gerne für die lange Lieferzeit einen Stern abgezogen aber da das Essen einfach soo lecker war, kann ich das nicht übers Herz bekommen. Nächstes Mal bestellen wir früher :) Macht weiter so!! Wir bestellen gerne wieder

Bestellt habe ich gestern Pelmeni mit Hähnchen-Rind Fleisch, Blini und Schmand. War alles sehr lecker, frisch und ausreichend. Pelmeni war eine gute Portion die Suppentellern gut gestapelt haben und 3 saftige, voll gefüllte blini. Der Mann war sehr freundlich und flexibel was Abholung anging und sehr entgegenkommend.
