ALIBABA BISTRO in Berlin

I was disappointed with my visit to Ali Baba Bistro. The döner was cold, the meat portion was small, and it lacked flavor. The service also felt rushed and not very welcoming. Overall, the experience didn’t meet expectations.

I’ve lived in visited Germany many times and lived here for 3 years, traveling all over eating many Döners in various regions. This place was our all time favorite! I had the standard Döner and enjoyed every bite. They offer chicken or beef. The bread was thinner than most and soft on the inside yet crispy on the outside. With the sauces it was absolutely incredible! This place was also recommended by our bike tour guide. I wish I could’ve come back before I left Berlin.

Everything was good, not outstanding If your looking for a place to eat it would suffice, however we found multiple small glass shards in our food. I hope this is a one off fluke, but i cannot ignore this fact. Edit: They were apologetic and we got a free cola, but this doesnt change my overall review.

Doner kebabs are also available in a vegan version with seitan. It tastes delicious. Feel free to offer another vegan sauce.👍

OPEN 24 hours a day! As someone who works night shifts, this place is a godsend. A nice selection of Food for any craving and the staff are always so kind and welcoming both in German and English. They always have some nice music jams playing and crowds both young and old enjoy sitting outside, having a laugh and a good conversation. A convenient spot after a few drinks or even just passing by. The food can take time to be prepped but they haven't served me anything undercooked or overdone. 8.5/10

The best kebab in Berlin between the Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt stops. Outdoor seating. Staff super friendly and quick.

Good place for a 2am snack. Better beer selection than some of the nearby bars. Falafel was a little dry, but at that time of the day it can be forgiven. Servers were friendly.

I asked if they had lahmacun, they said yes, number 11 and 12. I saw the price and was a bit astonished. 8,50 for a lahmacun? Ufff... I still ordered it cause I'm not very assertive in social situations. Partly my own fault! In the end, it wasn't a lahmacun at all, just a perfectly fine durum. Would still recommend if you want to order a durum! -1 for the gentle betrayal ♥️

We visited this restaurant by luck, while we were looking for something good to eat near Alexanderplatz, and we were positively surprised. It's probably the best döner kebab in Berlin. It was really tasty and flavourful and the quality was equal to the quantity. That's why we visited this place twice during our trip to the city. (PS: Watch out for the change they give you because the coins might not be Euros...)

A delicious döner served in 3 minutes for only 7.50€. Just next to berlin center. You can go here without thinking.

One of the best Kebabs I have eaten in my life, the meat, the raw vegetables, the sauce, everything is perfect!!! But don't go there because otherwise when you return to France all your kebabs will seem bland and tasteless. Very nice discovery in Berlin

Unfortunately, the doner is not good, both the chicken doner and the meat doner are extremely tasteless and bland. They put plenty of meat and side dishes, but you end up eating a salad with sauce in between bread. It is impossible for someone who has eaten doner in Ankara to like German-made Turkish doner. The staff is friendly, the service is good but a little slow. In April 2025, doner kebab will cost 7.5 euros, and the prices have increased considerably compared to the past.

I went with very little expectations and the truth is that it surprised me. First, it didn't seem expensive at all considering how generous the portion was. We ordered two doner boxes and they were spectacular. 10/10 I'm clearly going to return, the guys who served were very cool

Had the chicken kebab. Greasy sauces that don't really belong in a kebab. In my opinion, it wasn't hot sauce either. I don't understand where this amount of positive reviews come from.

I came recommended by a Berliner, but what a disappointment. In theory they sell better Kebabs here than Mustafa's, but it is totally false. I am surprised by the number of 5-star reviews, I imagine they are purchased because otherwise I don't understand it. The Kebabs are very average, in Valencia (Spain) I take you to a couple of places where they make them much better than here. So don't be fooled and if you are looking for some typical Berlin Kebab, this is not your place.

It's a perfect place to experience both Turkish and German food. I would fully recommend. Nice staff and delicious meals. You can try Berlin's famous currywurst too.

Visited with my wife and daughter. Very good Chicken Doner, bread was excellent. Great selection of fresh salad and one of the better range of sauces I've seen in a kebab place. Nice team working there too, who didn't mind my attempts to order in German!
