All the waiters who served us were friendly, helpful, and funny. High praise for that. Also, that the music was pleasantly quiet in the background. The cold appetizer plate + pide and Adana kebab were super delicious, but the Kuzu Sis, Yogurtlu Kuzu Sis, and Beyti Kebab still have room for improvement; we've definitely had better ones in Munich. The calamari plate was a bad joke – the calamari arrived completely burnt, which the waiter admitted. He said, "Yes, I've seen it before, but I thought you might not like the regular version, that you might find it too raw." What? We expected this plate to be on the house or a new one to be served, which didn't happen. We won't be coming back.

The food was good overall, but very overpriced and not worth the price. The grilled meat was slightly charred. There were very few side dishes, and even the €25 adanakebap with yogurt didn't come with rice. You would have to pay €5 extra for a small bowl of rice. If you're new to Turkish food, it might be something special, but it's not as great as the reviews claim.

A true slice of Turkey in the heart of Munich! Alibey impresses with authentic Turkish cuisine and a warm atmosphere. We had grilled meat, pide, and an Aperol Spritz, and finished with a delicious baklava. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. If you love Turkish food, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

We followed the numerous positive reviews and left quite disappointed. We ordered a grilled platter and were honestly stunned by how little food there was on it. Two small skewers with three pieces of meat each and two mini lamb chops. A small scoop of rice and half a wrap underneath as a side of bread. No salad, no vegetables, just a sprig of parsley and a wickedly hot pepper. A truly lonely plate! We've seen better in so many restaurants (especially for a whopping €31.90 per plate!). The missing minced skewer was unfortunately only explained upon request. ("Problems with the ventilation, so you had a second chop.") I'd like to know about things like that beforehand and decide for myself what I'm going to eat. Thanks. At least the pide was filling. We didn't have to wait long, but overall we found the service rather lackluster. This restaurant is certainly pleasing to the eye, but unfortunately, that alone doesn't make it worth returning to. In our opinion, this restaurant is completely overrated.

Hello, we went there to eat and ordered a pide and tavuk. The food was cold. The service was terrible. We called 5 times to order and only came on the fifth attempt. The staff were very unfriendly. Overall, a 3.

Hardworking staff with original Turkish taste

Today was my first visit to Ali Bey. Definitely not my last! I've rarely been as impressed by a meal as I was here. The grilled meat and vegetables are simply indescribably delicious. The service is friendly and attentive. One of the tastiest and best restaurants in Munich.

Honestly… about as perfect and authentic as it gets. The prices seem on the high side at first, but every bite is worth it, and the service complements it just perfectly. 10 out of 10, will go again.

It's definitely a must-visit place, the food is delicious, and when you enter, be sure to take a look at the Atatürk portrait.

We went there for the first time yesterday. Five people. They are very friendly and welcome their guests with a warm smile. Even though it was very hot, we still wanted to eat inside because we personally find it quieter and more pleasant. There are, of course, outdoor seating options. The food we ordered was served extremely quickly. The plates were appetizingly presented and delicious. Everything was very well seasoned and even the littlest one enjoyed it. Upon request/inquiry, the meat was immediately cooked from "medium rare" to "well done" (without any complaints). That was very nice. The ambiance was also lovely. Above all, the huge portrait of Atatürk with his wife stole our hearts :) 🥰 We'd love to come back. Keep up the good work 👏🏼

The second worst pide place in Munich. The first one was a place that heated up frozen pide and gave it away, this one is second. Despite my objections, I went there more than once at the insistence of my friends, and I never managed to eat anything tasty. Also, the prices are way too expensive for this kind of food. If the Munich municipality gave this out as free pide, I wouldn't go and eat it. The tea was good though.

I understood that they transferred 2 pieces of lavash to my account by saying they would not charge for lavash after checking the bill. They were kind enough to deduct 1 of them from the price(!), it was also very meaningful that the card was not accepted while making the payment with 2 different credit cards, fortunately cash was accepted. I recommend you to pay by checking the bill. On the bright side, the food was delicious, we liked the pita, meatballs and anchovies, well done to our chef.

I don’t understand how that restaurant has 4.7 stars. I was not sure if my kebap was uncooked or not. Also, prices are high for here.

We visit Ali Bey every now and then... and are extremely satisfied every time. The food is fantastic in a warm atmosphere. The waiters are very friendly and attentive, the service is excellent overall, they serve fine wine made from Turkish grapes, and the food is a poem... from the appetizer to the dessert. Superb quality and beautifully prepared. Here, you can feel the hospitality as much as the love of good food. We'll definitely be back!

We were very pleased with the service and food taste, especially the wide menu and variety. We ordered a starter, a hot appetizer and a main course. The portion was enough for two people. We ordered stuffed meatballs as a starter, fried anchovies as a hot appetizer, and tandoori lamb with stuffed rice as a main course. Frankly, I ordered the main dish and the hot dish with hesitation, but they were both very delicious. The anchovy pan arrived hot and crispy. The spice and aroma of the stuffed pilaf and the tandoori meat were as soft as we expected. We ordered rice pudding for dessert upon the recommendation of the restaurant and we were very pleased. Finally, there was Doluca's KAV series of light red wines. I definitely recommend it.

Definitely a place to visit, the taste is superb. I definitely recommend the lamb skewer with yoghurt, it is incredibly delicious. The attention and service of the employees is very good. It is a very nice place where you can go with family and friends. We would especially like to thank Mr. Ayhan.

Ready-made lavash was used in the Grill Teller. I think it is one-fifth the size of a lavash. Adana was smaller than half portion. Meat and chicken skewers consisted of three pieces of meat each. The pilaf was also very small. The taste of the food was good, but the portion was small for the price I paid. The service was fast. The employees are good. They said Kunefe was finished, but when they insisted, they did it. It was very small but beautiful. They also brought fresh lavash and 4.20 was written on it. I've never paid extra for lavash anywhere before. Trouble finding parking for the car. Yes, this is a problem everywhere in Munich.

Tiny portions and ungodly prices. The portion of rice with the chicken is tiny, if you ask for a little more you will be charged €5, tea and bread cost extra. I think 6 people €300 is a rip off.

The fact that we wanted bread with it was met with surprise, which is a shame. This does not correspond to traditional Turkish cuisine at all. It was our first and definitely last visit. They charged more than €4 for an additional bread, and an ayran cost €5 - we found that quite overpriced."

The food is amazing and the desserts are delicious, we even had a few more desserts packed to take home. But I think this portrait of Ataturk can very well be the only reason to visit again. I feel like I had dinner with my great commander/idol and it is a priceless experience. The amazing food is a great addition to this experience for me. 😋

Ich hatte mir angesichts der vielen positiven Bewertungen mehr versprochen. Mein türkischer Mangold mit orientalischen Reis gefüllt entpuppte sich als türkische Variante der griechischen Weinblätter. Vier Stück für 16.90 ohne Salat oder irgendeine Beilage fand ich für ein Hauptgericht ehrlicherweise auch recht happig. Jedes Gericht war gut, aber ohne Wow-Effekt. Und vor allem nicht raffiniert gewürzt. Wir würden es nicht weiter empfehlen.

Das Restaurant ist sehr toll, und vor allem das Essen ist ein Gedicht. Es war das erste Mal, dass wir richtig türkisch essen waren und alle unsere Speisen haben und sehr, sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Qualität ist sehr gut und man bekommt Lust mehr von der spannenden und guten türkischen Küche zu probieren

Were just there. The shop was completely empty. We were told they can't serve 8 people. We offered to serve 4 people first and then the others. This was immediately blocked. Simply incomprehensible.
