Ali Bey Restaurant in München

Been here again for a long time and wasn't disappointed. Very fast service, very good value for money and Turkish specialties of the finest quality. I was really excited. Everything was wonderful in terms of taste and the way the food was presented.👌

Everything was delicious, especially the appetizers, cutlets and pita. The service was also very good and very considerate. My son's food arrived quickly and ahead of time.

I tried lentil soup, hot liver and shepherd's roast, in general the service was very attentive and I think I liked the food very much despite my hunger, thanks to the restaurant staff, they were curious about my opinion, I didn't think of it at the time, but let me write it down now, I'm not a gourmet, but when I compared it with the ones I tried before and liked, if it were me, I would remove the onion from the liver. I would reduce the amount of liver a little and serve it as a leaf liver with a really good quality butter, without burning the butter. The coating and meat were very delicious, especially the cumin ratio, the roasted shepherd was a bit bland, but in general the dish itself is like that, maybe I was looking for the taste of sautéed meat with lots of tomato paste.

My last visit to Ali Bey Restaurant was different than what I'm used to from previous visits. While the service was usually extremely friendly and attentive, this time the staff seemed rather uninvolved. The food was OK, but by no means outstanding. One could not speak of fine Turkish cuisine. The bread, for which the restaurant is actually known, was particularly disappointing: the lavas, which usually comes out of the wood-fired oven, was flat and unappealing this time. The waiter's humor when paying was also very irritating - at the expense of the guests. That seemed inappropriate and didn't fit the atmosphere of a restaurant that has a certain standard. Fine is different.

A really great restaurant. Every dish was incredibly tasty and very high quality. The service was great, everyone was really friendly. We had the Beyti, Ciger and Hamsi were thrilled with the quality and the taste. We would be happy to do so again at any time. Top recommendation.

I was there a few months ago and everything was very good. However, today, on my birthday, I took my daughter because I was so excited, but we were very disappointed. The cold mezze platter costs €17(!) and there were only very small portions on the plate. We had different ideas for the price, to be honest. In addition, the main course was very dry. I had a grill plate - no salad, just a very small portion of rice, that was it. The meat was super dry. It couldn't have been drier. My daughter had lamb skewer with yoghurt - here too: just dry and the yoghurt didn't taste like anything. In addition, we had to pay €3.80 for two small Turkish teas, even though they are always served on the house (we have Turkish roots, so we know that this is usual). The serving was also sloppy. When we received sugar for the tea, it was simply thrown on the table. When we got bread, it was also put sloppily on the table and a tomato fell out of the mezze plate - the gentleman wasn't interested in that. We didn't expect the world but we did expect that both the service and the dishes would be handled and cooked with a little more love. Disappointing. We definitely won't come here again.

The Alibey Restaurant was a real highlight! The food was incredibly delicious, Kuzu Pirzola, Künefe were simply perfect - a real treat. The atmosphere is very pleasant and cozy, and the service was attentive and friendly. All in all a wonderful experience! A little note: although it is super tasty, it is also quite expensive. :D Still absolutely recommended if you want to treat yourself!

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner experience at Ali Baba Ocakbaşı in Munich. The incredible interest and smiling face of the owner of the business, Mr. Yaşar, was very welcoming. The food was delicious and the price-performance balance was very good. The place was extremely clean and the ambiance was very pleasant. If you ever come to Munich, I definitely recommend it!

As soon as you enter the restaurant you notice the exceptional cleanliness - you immediately feel at home here. The taste is incomparable! Every bite reflects the authenticity and love for Turkish cuisine. First time Turkish food - Tavuk Șiș was super tasty - chicken was tender, the avocado paste and the pepper dip, great combination. Rice light and airy. Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere - very comfortable, toilets clean. Highly recommended :)

Not good, is more of a bar than a Turkish restaurant. Food has no taste, maybe ok for Germans who don't know Turkish cuisine, but Turks wouldn't eat here. Alcohol everywhere, everyone drinks and the atmosphere is cheap. Once and never again.

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. The drinks were prepared well. I found the restaurant to be on the expensive side, but after the meal we were pretty satisfied and happy which I believe justifies the price. We ordered kunefe for dessert and it was one of the best kunefe I have had in Munich. Overall, I am very satisfied and I would definitely be visiting again.

It's a really good restaurant. I went there with my international friends to show our rakı-meze culture. We tried warm and cold mezes and some of my friends ordered main dishes. We had a great evening, service was just great and food was delicious. Everything I tasted, tastes the same in Turkey, so I assure you that its an authentic Turkish Restaurant👌Thank you!

As someone studying gastronomy, I had the opportunity to test it for scoring. I went with my girlfriend. I definitely do not recommend it. The food is definitely below what I expected. I did not tip because I received inadequate service. Therefore, the waiter made a face at us and did not say have a good day. Even though we said, such a tradesmanship cannot be possible. It is complete chaos.

Sehr gute authentische türkische Küche. Wirklich zu empfehlen, v.a. die Lavas aus dem Ofen toppen das Ganze noch. Koray, unser Kellner, hat uns den ganzen Abend ausgesprochen nett, gut und kompetent bedient. Es war zwar unser erstes, aber ganz sicher nicht unser letztes Mal hier!

Hervorragendes Essen und sehr netter Service. Leider extrem eng / dicht bestuhlt und somit recht laut. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an türkischen Vorspeisen. Wir hatten die gemischte kalte und warme Vorspeisenvariationen. Das war Mega lecker. Als Hauptgerichte haben uns angelacht, die gefüllte Aubergine und gegrilltes Lamm mit Reis und Gemüse. I enjoyed it... But I didn't find the acoustics that pleasant: it was too loud, so I couldn't really have a relaxed conversation with my girlfriend. Eat: I had very good veal liver cubes on hummus -- actually an appetizer; However, for me it was absolutely sufficient in the evening. A lavas flatbread with it - unfortunately boring; not the best Lavas I know; There are better tasting ones in the train station area. My friend ate vegetarian stuffed eggplant and was very impressed. Drink: Good tea made from fresh peppermint. Good but very expensive Turkish red wine. Atmosphere: See above: too loud. Pleasant: We didn't have a reservation and it wasn't that full, so we were able to sit at our table and chat unmolested until it closed shortly before 11 p.m., even though we didn't consume a huge amount. A huge thank you to the host for that! Real Turkish hospitality. (Because normally when you make a reservation for two you only get a time slot of 90 minutes - which I don't think is good at all.) Speaking of rattling: After some loud guests left, things quieted down ;-)

Four of us had a spontaneous dinner at this restaurant. Since all the seats outside were reserved/occupied, the host asked us to take a table inside. The food was delicious and the waiting time was acceptable. The service is very good and the employees are courteous and quick. We will definitely come back.

Luckily we had a reservation, the restaurant was very busy (Saturday, 7 p.m.) We were brought to our table and only got the cards when we asked - unfortunately the waiter had to wait a while until we could order drinks and food. In the end, almost 15 minutes passed since arrival. Given the busy restaurant, we were still understanding. The food came quite quickly and we thought it was incredibly tasty! Lots of vegetarian selection, fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned for us - we were definitely full and can therefore recommend the restaurant. We paid just under €70 for a mixed meze plate (for 2 people), pide, salad, baklava & two drinks. Price-performance ratio is therefore completely right for us.

Sehr gut besuchtes Restaurant. Es muss unbedingt reserviert werden. Die Menükarte ist sehr reichhaltig und authentisch. Die Vorspeise (Salat/Kalbsleber) waren ausgezeichnet. Auch der Hauptgang war sehr gut. Die Portionen sind recht gross.
