Super tasty food, always friendly service and the buffet is really awesome! Highly recommended, but I think you definitely need to make a reservation.

Disappointing experience - Not recommended I visited the restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately I was completely disappointed. As soon as I walked in I noticed the unfriendly service. The staff seemed annoyed and made little effort to provide guests with a pleasant experience. The food itself was another low point. The fish we ordered had neither the consistency nor the taste you would expect from fresh fish. It was dry and bland, more like an inferior frozen product. The dish failed to impress either with its taste or presentation. Overall the visit was a disappointment. Neither the food nor the service justify the prices. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant. There are much better options in the area that make you feel welcome and enjoy good food.

Delicious Turkish food in Munich! Picked this based on several Reddit threads. Slightly tucked away from the city central but very convenient to reach and worth the very small detour. Dinner service on a Monday evening 7pm was totally full indoors. There is outdoor seating as well but it was chilly that day so everyone was inside. I got the lamb fillet special and husband got the cubed lamb with eggplant and tomato sauce. Both were divine. Could have been a little spicier, but that’s personal preference. 10/10 recommend. Great service and cute vibes inside. Clean bathrooms also a plus. Staff were friendly and helpful. Crowd was very local and overall we really enjoyed this meal.

Although you sit directly on the street, it is still quiet and, thanks to the plants, not so much on display. Inside, the restaurant is very tastefully decorated. The food was very tasty and attractively presented. The service was initially super friendly and attentive. We felt completely comfortable. At first everything was just right. Only the fact that the mood at the service changed when we (2 couples and 1 individual) wanted to pay separately clouded the overall impression somewhat. The question arose as to whether we wanted to resolve this among ourselves, which we answered in the negative. The gentleman then drove off and simply left us sitting there, only to then come back to our table in annoyance with his card reader. Sorry, but with 5 people at the table you have to expect that you will pay separately. It shouldn't really be a big deal. It's a shame that this spoiled an otherwise perfect evening. Maybe next time :)

Had brunch here for the first time on Sunday August 11, 2024. Four adults and two kids. Service very nice, courteous and attentive. (keep it up) The quality was great, fresh and the taste was great, you felt like you were in Turkey. We will definitely see each other again. Definitely worth a visit!

Lady's and Gentlemen, I went to this place yesterday for supper and was disappointed beyond my expectation of an restaurant. The bread was not fresh made in the restaurant, it was domestic purchased and heated up in the oven . The Ayran does not come close to the taste of that good drink . What a disgrace to demand inappropriate money for this !!!! An imbiss stand has more fresh products and fair prices !!!! No passion for food just cheating and making money , this is not an restaurant !!

We went there to the Turkish breakfast without any reservation but we were able to be seated. For the breakfast there is an open buffet and a rather small menu for eggs selection. Open buffet has a lot of options but I am not really convinced if it actually reflects the Turkish breakfast. We selected omelette with different flavours and also asked for a plate of tomato/cucumber as a side salad. The service was a bit delayed to be honest but the side dish had cheese, olives next to tomato/cucumber, more than we asked for. They also did not charge for it. Overall I’d say we had a good food with quite a fair of a price. However, I was hoping more of a Turkish breakfast, this was to me more like brunch you could get at any cafe. They also have a cute outside area.

Everything was perfect, from food to atmosphere. They serve native Turkish food that is one of the best in the world.

Down-to-earth cuisine at normal prices, considering the Munich location. The staff is friendly and quick, the menu offers a wide variety of dishes to suit everyone. Due to the proximity to the city center, you can take a short digestive walk towards the German Museum and the center after your meal. We'd love to come back.

What a pity! Keko has been our "favorite Turk" for many years - but yesterday we were all quite disappointed: the meat in three dishes was very dry and not very seasoned, and the vegetable side dishes were cold. Likewise the rice: soggy and not very seasoned. When it came to the tomato sauce, it was obvious that it was a ready-made sauce. A complaint (admittedly only made after eating) was at least politely registered). Price-performance ratio not appropriate!!! We won't come anymore...

Was here for the first time and it tasted very good. Big portion. Reservations recommended, very busy. Yesterday we were there for a birthday dinner/celebration in warm summer temperatures. It was great and super tasty.

I celebrated my husband's birthday there. The Keko team was really great, the service was great, they made sure that everyone always had something to drink and they also timed the food really well so that all of us (16 people with children) could eat at the same time. I brought another cake with me, they refrigerated it for me and presented it beautifully (we paid plate money but that's normal procedure) The food was super tasty, we were actually already full from the starters😅 but the rest was fine too👌 All in one, a super nice evening, would be happy again. The buffet is recommended. The menemen was probably one of the best we have ever eaten, but the omelette was rather mediocre. The service was extremely courteous and attentive in a pleasantly subtle way. It should be particularly emphasized that the service noticed that we didn't like the omelette and offered us an alternative. Overall, a very positive experience that we would happily recommend.

Turkish restaurant with a friendly atmosphere. The very friendly and courteous service is absolutely top notch, not intrusive but always attentive and interested. The warm mixed starters tasted very delicious and are enough for two. Our main courses, marinated chicken leg and lamb shank, were perfectly prepared, the vegetables had a bite, everything harmonized perfectly. Only the dressing on the (fresh, crunchy salad) didn't taste good. We would have preferred an olive oil and vinegar dressing. All in all a perfect evening, we'll definitely be back!

Keko is very unique Turkish restaurant. I a have been coming here more than 13 years and the food quality and service never changed. The staff and the owner are very friendly I would suggest to try their liver and shrimp 🦐 dish. Again it’s the best Turkish restaurant in Munich. I highly recommend going out there.

Before you go, my advice to all of you is to not sit at the back tables, you will be forgotten, they will come to you once an hour, you will never have a chance to serve me, I ate beyti as a meal, but dude, you can't put two slices of beyti, I mean, we ate it in hundreds of places, I saw this little for the first time, it's delicious, but it's very little, so you have to eat something else again, the food is extra. It's average, but the moments are nice, the place is nice, but the service is lacking at all.

Unfortunately, we were not at all satisfied with our visit to Keko. We were there last year and really liked it, which is why it's even more of a disappointment how much the quality has deteriorated. First of all, the cold appetizer platter was very average. We waited exactly 1 hour for the main courses because there was apparently a lot going on. However, other guests who came later received their food before us. The Adana Kebap was totally unseasoned and extremely dry. There were also vegetables cooked in water (also unseasoned) and some rice. The whole dish was really not good and lacked spices… It's really a shame that the food in a restaurant in this price category can be so bad...

Was there for breakfast. The selection was large, plentiful and very tasty. "All you can eat - Brunch" for 25 euros without drinks. In the end we found the price quite tasty.

If I spend 25 euros on an Adana, then I expect the plate to be fairly full. Since when does a typical Turkish Adana plate consist of broccoli, carrots, cauliflower and celery? 2 pieces of Oreo Baklava or Kazandibi in mini version for 12 euros. Over 1 hour waiting time... Well, I'm never coming here again. Overpriced and has nothing to do with Turkish cuisine

Online reservation is enough. The attitude of staff is smileful and friendly. The dishes are also quite delicious, but the original recipes have been reworked and new recipes have been created. You can come here for delicious dishes, but you should choose another place to taste the original Turkish cuisine.

The food is really tasty and well above what you expect. The employees are all friendly. The only star deduction: It got a little louder in the restaurant during our meal.

Unfortunately, the service is very bad, he probably should be the head waiter, he seems to be experienced, because when taking the order, it is as if they were forced to place him there. When I ask a question, they first take a deep breath and then answer, etc. It's a shame! It says mixed frying, but they put 2 paprikas and 3-5 zucchini and eggplant slices and serve them. Where is the POTATO, which is the main product in mixed frying? A house without a balcony, a forest without trees, a tzatziki with dry rice, no mixed fries without potatoes, sir! My wife ordered beyti wrap, it was delicious, yes there is no life, but it can't be that little. I ate something like beef iskender, there was little meat in it and it was very tough. The young waiter was very kind and polite, but he was more like the dark-skinned middle-aged boss. As important as service is, dialogue with the customer is also important.

We ate Hamsi, Karışık Balık, mixed salad and Künefe and two beers. Everything was very delicious! We paid €80 for this (including tip), which I find very reasonable. The entire service team was very nice and friendly. 100% recommended. They also offer delicious Turkish open-buffet breakfasts on the weekends.

I've been going to this restaurant for years and haven't left a review until now. The reason was that every good review made it even harder for me to get a table. But now I have to: The food, even yesterday, was as damn tasty as ever. The staff were nice and courteous as always yesterday, even when there was really something going on. An absolute recommendation... A note about the parking situation: there are a bunch of parking spaces opposite on the Mariahilfplatz site (only if there is no Dult). And if you ask nicely, your ticket (for the parking lot, which is otherwise subject to a fee) will be validated.

Everything was great... only if you think about how expensive it was 🫰 then you can't give it 5 stars! Unfortunately, eating out has become a luxury. What also surprised me was that our reservation was limited to 2 hours. Revenue is king, not the customer. It's also not a place for vegetarians. It was just a thrown together vegetable pot for over €22!

Alles in allem ein sehr schöner brunch. Buffet wurde regelmäßig (auch wenn teils langsam) aufgefüllt. Hätte mir jedoch mehr warme Speisen sowie Eierspeisen auf dem Buffet gewünscht. Getränke sind auf Kosten dazuzubuchen. Ansonsten Preis-Leistung gut Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es genug.service war nett freundlich und schnell.

Das Essen war gut und der Service ebenfalls, kann man echt nicht meckern. Allerdings sind die Preise extrem hoch. Ein Izgara kostet knapp 32 Euro?! Das ist schon krass finde ich! Ich hatte eine Suppe, einen türkischen Bauernsalat plus jeweils jeder 1 Cola und waren dann 60 Euro los.

Wir waren für den Brunch am Samstag da. Das Essen war super lecker und der Service sehr zuvorkommend. Das Einzige was ich schade fand, war dass es kein Menemen oder andere Eierspeise gab- dies hätte man gegen Aufpreis dazu kaufen können. Wir kommen aber sicher wieder! :)

Ich war gestern in diesem Restaurant mit meinen Freunden und bereue es sehr. Es hat sich in keiner Weise gelohnt und wir werden definitiv nicht mehr kommen. Es hat ziemlich lange gedauert, bis das Essen kam, obwohl das Restaurant nicht voll war. Wir hatten den Vorspeisenteller bestellt mit verschiedenen kalten Vorspeisen, diese war vom Geschmack her mittelmäßig. Das Joghurt hat ziemlich säuerlich geschmeckt und war ungenießbar, Der Grillteller mit Hähnchenspießen war eine totale Katastrophe. Die Hähnchenstücke waren dermaßen groß, als hätte man das mit den Händen einfach in Stücke gerissen und sofort an den Spieß gesetzt. Der Service war auch nicht der beste. Nogo! 👎 Ich hätte mehr erwartet!

Wir wollten zum Wochenendbrunch kommen. Die Bilder auf der Website sehr ansprechend. Hier bei den Rezessionen gelesen, das warme Frühstück speisen noch extra bezahlt werden müssen. Sorry aber ich fühle mich getäuscht. 23,90 euro und dann muss ich auch noch extra für die Eierpfanne bezahlen? Beim Brunch auf der Website damit werben und nur durch Recherche findet man raus das alles extra berechnet wird? Dazu auch keine Transparenz was das alles kosten wird. Was soll das türkische brunsch Vergnügen denn dann am Ende bei euch kosten? 50-60 Euro pro Person? Reservierung ist storniert.

Very good Turkish restaurant. I had the beyti which was ok and on another visit had the kuzu tandır which was nicely done and the meat was delicious, definitely recommend that. If you don't mind the high syrup content, the künefe is also delicious and a must have. They also offer Turkish style tea but I didn't enjoy it, they use cloves in the tea as well and I personally don't prefer it.

Absolute Empfehlung! Wir haben an Neujahr soooo lecker dort gegessen und wurden herzlich und aufmerksam bedient. Wir hatten die große kalte Vorspeisenplatte (zum Reinlegen lecker) und zwei Hauptgerichte von der Tageskarte. Einmal Lamm mit einer leichten Sauce und Käse überbacken und einen Hühnerspieß. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, es war alles unglaublich lecker und sehr fein abgeschmeckt. Danke! Macht weiter so!
