I like coming to the Alexandre from Stuttgart. Ambiance and service is really good. Unfortunately, I have experienced several times that the food is tasty, but often lukewarm and not really hot. Very unfortunate. That should be able to be changed.

Always my pleasure. .whether for lunch during the week, in the evening or for brunch on Sunday. Absolutely recommended.

I am a regular at Alexandre and am always extremely impressed by the service, the delicious food, the homemade lemonades and, above all, the chai latte. Price performance is right. I can't understand the bad reviews because the store is always full and always full of good vibes. The Alexandre is part of my ritual when I am in Reutlingen. Very good dears, keep it up!!!👍👍👍

I haven't been to the Alexandre for a long time because of this one unfriendly waitress, unfortunately she was there again today and she was very unfriendly to us again. When we collected it, she gave us €5 short of change, so you can improve your tip if you don't get one. never again to the Alexandre

Wir waren mit unseren beiden kleinen Kindern brunchen. Es gibt eine kleine Kinderecke. Service war TOP! Nur für 74€ für ein Brunch für 2 Erwachsene und ein 3 jähriges Kind nicht günstig, zumal das Angebot Luft nach oben hat bei der Preisklasse.

As always, it's great here just because of the super friendly staff.

After waiting over 1 hour and 15 minutes for spaetzle with sauce, I first got schnitzel which wasn't ordered and then waited another 20 minutes. There were normal noodles in the spaetzle and the cream sauce looked as if it had been made with sauce powder and lumps formed where they didn't dissolve. When we asked the waiter about it, he reacted very unfriendly. I would prefer to give no star at all… totally dissatisfied!

I'm already familiar with the atmosphere because I've been there many times and have always eaten deliciously. Today we went shopping in RT and used the time to eat at Alexandre. Quickly found a place, nice service, food arrived quickly and was delicious. Big praise to the waitress Rosie who served us. Friendly, nice and funny. Honor her. Aperol Spritz from 5 p.m. with a bowl of olives... that sounds good, we thought... after 2 waitresses had almost ignored us, apparently flirting around... one took pity on taking our order after 15 minutes... drinks came quickly. ..However, we almost had to beg for supplies, and there really wasn't much going on....we still ordered mini burgers at some point, because we were hungry, and quite quickly Had asked for two plates. They were forgotten, as was the advertised Aperol with a small bowl of olives... I really would have understood it, all hell would have broken loose... but since we were busy with other things, the rest doesn't surprise me .Perhaps this should really be discussed internally. That doesn't make a good impression at all. And yes, I know the difference between friendly service and other things.

Das Alexandre ist lebhaft und doch entspannt. Freundlicher Service, die immer wieder fragen, ob man etwas haben möchte. Zum Cappuccino für 4€ wünscht man sich doch gerne einen Keks, um sich abzuheben von anderen Cafés, doch diesen bekommt man nicht. Gegessen haben nur die Kids die Pfannkuchen, die lecker waren. Eine Spielecke für Kinder gibt’s auch. Zu bemängeln haben wir hier nur immer wieder die Sauberkeit - die Toilettendeckel und Toiletten bzw auch die Wickelmatte sollten mal erneuert werden. Der Putzservice vergisst auch die Ecken zu säubern und Spinnweben zu entfernen - meist also eher oberflächlich gereinigt. Für uns gehört Sauberkeit im Restaurant einfach überall dazu, daher hier der Sternabzug.

Habe morgens um 11.00 Uhr angerufen um für Abends einen Tisch zu reservieren. Nachdem niemand ans Telefon ging, dachte ich, ok, rufst später nochmals an, bestimmt alle gerade im Restaurant unterwegs. Es dauerte allerdings nur kurz und es erfolgte ein Rückruf. War positiv überrascht und die Dame war sehr freundlich. War toll! Dazu waren wir auch an Silvester dort. Waren rundum zufrieden. Service war sehr, sehr aufmerksam und sehr bemüht und auch das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Schweinelendchen und das Roastbeff sehr schmackhaft. Dieses Mal waren zwei Buffets aufgestellt was das anstehen sehr kurzweilig machte. Die Jahre davor war es nur eines, das war dann doch deutlich zäher. Denke das wurde wahrgenommen und dann auch verbessert! Danke dafür! Der Preis mit 69,90 Euro hat allerdings deutlich angezogen, was aber noch ok war. Wurde jetzt jedes Jahr angehoben, sollte das obere Limit jetzt erreicht haben, damit Preis-Leistung noch im Einklang bleiben. Rundum bisher zufrieden 🤗

Reservierung über open-Table hatte gut geklappt. Allerdings wurde uns ein 6er Tisch für die angemeldeten 8 Personen reserviert, was aber kein Problem darstellte und wir sofort einen grösseren Tisch bekamen. Im Restaurant war es unglaublich warm. Service war sofort zu Stelle, sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Getränke und Speisen kamen schnell und alles zusammen. Preis/Leistung ist in Ordnung. Das Alexandre empfiehlt sich also nicht nur zu den Markttagen und im Sommer, sondern auch als Speiserestaurant und Kneipe am Abend.

Hallo, Wir sind aus der Schweiz angereist, sie bieten den Gästen ein hervorragendes Essen, sie sind sehr gastfreundlich und das Preis - Leistungsverhältniss ist super. Wir waren schon öfters Gast bei ihnen im Alex und möchten ihnen mitteilen, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Grüsse Günter Beck

It was quite crowded and therefore quite loud. The staff was busy and as a result there were waiting times. The food was okay, as were the drinks.

Eternal waiting for service and food. But the atmosphere is nice and at least the service is friendly. 2 stars for that

Hatten den Tisch um 18:45h bestellt und waren auch pünktlich da. Bedienung 1 hat uns einen Tisch gezeigt. Nach ein paar Minuten kam Bedienung 2 und hat uns ziemlich unfreundlich gesagt, dass der Tisch reserviert sei und wir uns einen anderen Tisch suchen müssen… Auf meinen Hinweis, dass uns der Tisch von Bedienung 1 zugewiesen wurde, ist Bedienung 2 überhaupt nicht eingegangen und hat uns dann einen anderen Tisch gegeben. Wir haben anschließend das Lokal verlassen…

The place is good in general. It's big and nice. The only thing that baffles me is how many times management and menu have changed.

Saturday afternoon, 1:45 p.m., not crowded and yet waited 20 minutes for a portion of sweet potato fries. The fries were certainly hot when they arrived at our table, but unfortunately they weren't even warm anymore. The warm fries were surprisingly tasty and the dip was great, hot and definitely a treat. The neighboring table waited a good hour for burgers and fries, which unfortunately only arrived lukewarm. Service was only mediocre, we were only served when asked, no one asked if it was tasty or if we wanted anything else.

We have been to Alexandre's many times but today we would be very disappointed. I assume that the operation is new. We hadn't even sat down before she jumped in without a hello or anything and asked what we wanted to drink; we needed a moment to get there. When she came back a few minutes later and I asked her what kind of cakes there were, her answer was "I have no idea, go ahead and see what there is" and she was also very annoyed, that was it for us, we quickly went to a cafe and got there out again. That was the first time we had such bad service at Alex. In my opinion the lady chose the wrong job.

Essen lecker, Bedienung freundlich, Ambiente passt. Bei der Getränkebestellung gab es ein Misverständnis, das aber vom Kellner schnell korrigiert wurde. Die Wartezeiten auf Essen und Getränke waren trotz des hohen Besucheraufkommens relativ kurz.

The Alexandre is an ideal place for us to have breakfast together before a stroll through Reutlingen. There is plenty of space outside, too, and the tables are set up so that you don't necessarily have to overhear conversations from neighboring tables. The croissants are very delicious, but the bread basket with the hearty farmer's bread is also great. The service is top, always friendly and attentive. Big praise, keep it up. Always happy to come back.

Breakfast brunch good, but also relatively expensive.

The Alexandre in Reutlingen is centrally located on the market square, with an underground car park directly underneath. You sit outside beautifully surrounded by half-timbered houses, inside in a stylish ambience. Drinks and service are very good, the food is more off-the-shelf.

I ordered a yogurt-strawberry dream. Lt. The ice cream menu featured yogurt and strawberry ice cream as well as fresh strawberries. A hollow hip was also there. A small bowl then came that contained some ice cream, yoghurt and a wafer roll. the fresh strawberries were on the edge of the bowl. As you can clearly see, it is a cut strawberry. I find that misleading. And charging €9.50 for it is already usury. Even though the ice cream is from the Lautertal, it tasted like any other ice cream. We had already noticed that the other restaurants around the market square were better attended. Now I know why. When I look at what I get for ice cream sundaes elsewhere for €9.50, I couldn't recommend Alexandre more. Addendum: I was at Alexandre again today and ate the tight Alex. It was really great, really tasty bread and the eggs were on point! That gives hope!

Hello everyone, Yesterday, October 26th, 2024, we wanted to have a drink, eat cake, unfortunately nothing worked, we waited 15 minutes before we could even order, then we waited 25 minutes for our drinks and everything was always brought separately. I got my cappuccino then After 5 minutes my wife ordered her cake etc. After a long wait we asked when we would get our cake. The lady said which cake would you like? The restaurant manager whatever came to us so arrogantly and said do you want cake now or not of course not

There is actually nothing so much to say or write. Very unfriendly service. Simply not recommended. Especially if the boss asked whether everything was good or not, he wouldn't answer at all because he wasn't ready to accept any criticism.

Nice atmosphere and good food - I'd love to come back. The service is also great. I particularly noticed Mr. Ullah. He is extremely attentive and friendly.

Hatten reserviert und einen der schlechtesten Plätze, direkt am Eingang der Toilette bekommen. Die Lüftung Oder Klimaanlage war sehr laut und zugig. Die Plätze im vorderen Bereich, der Einladend und gemütlich ausssah, mit Blick zum Marktplatz, wurden mit spontanen Besuchern besetzt.

Mice/pests Nice atmosphere, but pests in the dining room. When we saw two mice in the dining room, we lost our desire to eat. When there were complaints about the mice, the manager who was called reacted with a defensive attitude and said about the past hunger: “If these little mice are bothering you, you don’t have to pay for the food.” No apology or anything like that. Even when viewing the video we recorded. He also said that these mice come in from outside and do not stay in the building permanently. But this is the case with rats, but not with mice, they stay in the warmth and with the food sources. The cake stored in the glass display case in the entrance area will certainly be very attractive to the mice. Not to mention the kitchen, storage rooms and the like. An apology and understanding would have been appreciated.

We were there today, Sunday morning, to have breakfast - but that will also be our last visit there. The selection of side dishes for the small breakfast is okay, but the quality of the baked goods in particular is really cheap. An additional croissant is charged at €3.40, which would be fine if it was at least of good frozen quality, but this is more reminiscent of the baked croissants from the aluminum tray at the discount store. Likewise the bread rolls served. The “pancakes” had nothing to do with pancakes and are more like shortcrust pastry, totally dry and cold on the inside. The waiter said he would pass it on to the kitchen - even though the entire portion was returned, it was charged in full... Customer service is different... The highlight, however, came when paying. The total according to the waiter was €46.80, with a tip we paid €50.00. When we asked for the receipt, it turned out that the amount was €41.80! I don't want to assume that it was intentional, but even if he made a mistake or the customer misheard it, it should be clear that you don't tip more than €8.00 for breakfast and you could ask again... that's really not possible. It is a mystery to me how the operator's reactions to reviews justify the high prices by high and selected quality... The products used look cheap, taste cheap and are really grossly overpriced!! The selection on the market square is large enough, please choose a different café than Alexandre

We had breakfast at Alexandre and loved it. You get a lot for your money. It was very tasty and very rich, and the coffee was also very good. The service was also good and we were very satisfied. The toilets were also very clean. The atmosphere was also nice and overall we really enjoyed the visit. We'd love to come back 😍

It is questionable where all the money that you pay for small portions that decrease in quality over time goes. Unfortunately, not the staff - they are spread so thin at times that guests often have to wait a long time to order, but especially to pay. There also seems to be a high turnover of good staff at this restaurant. The coffee served is below average - especially at the market square, where really good coffee is served on every corner. If at least the price-performance ratio was right, there would be a star. The decor is modern and very nice!

I don't think the restaurant is good at all, I ordered an Ipanema. There was a piece of lime in the Ipanema and I choked on it when I drank. Of course I said it directly!! But honestly, how does a piece of lime get in there? That's disgusting, something like that should never happen in a restaurant like that! Or ?

10 minutes passed until the order was taken and then another 25 minutes waited for the drinks... even though there was very little going on for a Saturday lunchtime. Unfortunately, that's exactly how it was on the last visits. I will definitely spend my money elsewhere in the future!

The Alexandre Restaurant in Reutlingen is a true culinary treasure! From the moment you arrive you feel in a warm, welcoming atmosphere that is both elegant and cozy. Today we waited at table 633 outside for 20 minutes without the waiter paying any attention to us. Although all the tables around us were paid for and served. You have the feeling that the service staff are deliberately ignoring you?! We then actively approached another service person and he then took our order. 3 ice creams and 1 iced coffee. Even though the store wasn't even 1/2 full, I waited another 30 minutes. When we asked at the counter the lady just shrugged her shoulders?! Then finally the melted sundaes arrived. I haven't experienced such bad service in a long time. It's a shame, it could be really comfortable here in the great outdoor area. We used to go there regularly but today we've lost interest.

We had to wait a long time until we were served. We ordered salmon bread and pancakes with Nutella and banana. The pancakes were ok but far too few for the price and the consistency wasn't that tasty. The salmon bread was inedible because it was so salty. Finally, if you find a good place to eat, Alexandria is not the right one.

Parking spaces are available for a fee in the town hall parking garage. So up and in. Payment possible by card or cash. Staff friendly and attentive. Modern furnished. Seating available indoors and outdoors. Play area for children. Food and drinks are brought very quickly. Daily menus available with fixed weekly offerings and dishes that change daily.

We wanted to sit outside with 12 people, the staff didn't agree with it, he said I couldn't put together so many tables for you even though there were free ones. Pancakes smelled and tasted like they had been bathed in frying oil. I've never had such bad pancakes. Inedible, I would never order again. The burger was okay.

Very nice and efficient service force! Unfortunately the kitchen is next to it! After waiting 45 minutes we canceled our 3 portions of fries and 2 mini burgers! It doesn't work at all!

In the evening the waiters are forgetful, you get your order too late and you wait what feels like an hour for your drink!! It's very weak for a store like this!!

Ich habe kürzlich Restaurant in Reutlingen besucht und war sehr enttäuscht von der Erfahrung. Obwohl wir zu einer relativ ruhigen Zeit ankamen, war der Service extrem schlecht. Der Kellner ignorierte uns mehrfach, obwohl ich ihn drei- oder viermal gerufen habe. Noch schlimmer war, dass ein Tisch, der nach uns ankam, sofort bedient wurde, was uns vernachlässigt und übersehen fühlte. Als wir schließlich unsere Bestellung aufgegeben hatten, verbesserte sich der Service nicht. Es dauerte ewig, bis unser Essen und unsere Getränke ankamen. Ich bestellte Whiskey mit Leitungswasser, aber trotz dreimaliger Bestellung brachte der Kellner es nicht, was mich dazu zwang, ihn immer wieder daran zu erinnern. Die gesamte Erfahrung war extrem frustrierend, besonders da das Restaurant zu diesem Zeitpunkt nicht beschäftigt war. Es war klar, dass unser Tisch nicht die Aufmerksamkeit und den Respekt erhielt, den zahlende Kunden verdienen. Leider fühlte sich diese konsequente Vernachlässigung und der schlechte Service diskriminierend und respektlos an. Als indischer Kunde hatte ich das Gefühl, dass diese Behandlung rassistisch motiviert war, was die Erfahrung umso unangenehmer machte. In der heutigen Welt ist es entmutigend, eine solche Behandlung aufgrund der Rasse zu erfahren. Alle Kunden, unabhängig von ihrem Hintergrund, verdienen es, mit Respekt und Höflichkeit behandelt zu werden. Ich hoffe aufrichtig, dass das Management von [Restaurant Name] diese Probleme ernsthaft angeht. Solches Verhalten ist inakzeptabel und kann den Ruf eines ansonsten schönen Etablissements erheblich schädigen. Ich fordere das Management dringend auf, gründliche Schulungen für ihr Personal zum Thema Kundenservice und zur Bedeutung der Gleichbehandlung aller Gäste durchzuführen. Eine Überprüfung ihrer Richtlinien und Verfahren, um solche Vorfälle in Zukunft zu verhindern, ist ebenfalls unerlässlich.

The food is acceptable, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. The waitresses are unfriendly, avoid the guests and seem annoyed if you want to order another drink after an hour. Empty glasses and dishes piling up on the tables don't seem to bother them. During several visits we often had to wait long and thirsty if something was missing or needed to be reordered. It was almost a gamble as to whether and when our orders would even arrive. We used to go to Alexandre regularly for breakfast, but after these experiences we definitely won't eat there again.

Went to the opening game of the European Championship. Unfortunately, the screen was a disaster. Half a minute to a minute delayed results. A pity. Everything else was great. The game broadcast and image quality need to be worked on.
