Very good service and very good hospitality or food and drinks. We went there late in the evening and still had a very good time. Great effort has been made inside and outside too, unfortunately the proximity to the streets cannot be completely covered.

The food was great as always. The price/performance ratio is also great! However, today we noticed an employee who pointed out mistakes to her colleagues in the presence of the guests. That was a bit uncomfortable. And that doesn't fit with the atmosphere in Café Country, where all the employees are always very nice. And there is a very friendly tone among each other and also with the guests.

Unfortunately, things have deteriorated a lot in all areas. After the second request, drinks finally came after 35 minutes. Unfortunately, the food we ordered didn't arrive at all, so we left the restaurant after 1.5 hours and two conversations. Despite the incident, the drinks were charged in full and there was no apology. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

Service very friendly and a nice atmosphere... but the food was overpriced and not necessarily recommended...

I was there once with the whole family and was really happy with everything, I have to come back after a long time😍

The breakfast brunch was a disaster. I have visited the location several times, but at longer intervals. I've never experienced anything like that there. The male waitress was inattentive and slow. About the food: It started with burnt scrambled eggs which were then refilled (inedible). The fish was dry and musty. Half-baked rolls, canned fruit that was already fermented. The warm dishes were basically cold and partly indefinable. And all at an unreasonable price. That was the last visit to this restaurant.

After so many years I should write a new review again. We have been here often in the last few years. Mostly by bike. The food has always been very good and can definitely compete with higher-priced restaurants. The staff is always friendly. You never have to wait long. What more could you want? An absolute recommendation. There is an outdoor playground for children. You only have to make a few compromises because of the noise level when it comes to the seats on the street side. But there are enough alternatives. We are already looking forward to the next time.

I have to give one star to write a review. This is for the young man who welcomed us in a friendly manner and served us. Everything else doesn't deserve a star. What was delivered was terribly bad. After we waited more than an hour for two burgers and a portion of sweet potato fries, a chicken burger with burnt meat was delivered, the other burger that was advertised as having gorgonzola and pear was also nowhere near worthy of a restaurant kitchen, not even in a bad canteen The pear would be served with the core and the Gorgonzola as a cardboard corner out of the package. Even the fries were inedible, dark and sticky at the same time, it looked like the leftovers from the day had been reheated. Certainly there is no chef in this kitchen but someone who wants to but can't. We returned the food, paid for our drinks and went to Thunderbike at the Roadhouse. The food there was absolutely delicious and came to the table after a few minutes. Therefore, a clear recommendation to drive a little further down the road and never go to Cafe Country. By the way, while we were waiting, several other guests complained about the food I can only recommend that the young man who served us look elsewhere; he didn't deserve the criticism he received this evening.

I find it unbelievable that the boss is sitting outside and can't even say hello when she's already looking at you. Sitting here for 20 minutes. Still no waiter in sight. The boss doesn't care whether there are guests there either... Unbelievable... Well, I'm not surprised that people are moving to other locations. If you don't want money...

I've been a regular for tens of years. No matter whether I'm there privately with family or friends or professionally with people with disabilities, the staff is always super friendly, the food is delicious and special requests are taken into account and implemented. Personally, I really like the atmosphere too.

Cozy and relaxed restaurant with a large breakfast buffet. Here's something for every taste. Whether with a large group or as a couple or family, the possibilities are almost unlimited. The offer is particularly recommended for brunch. The service ladies were friendly and attentive. The restaurant is largely barrier-free. The sanitary facilities were clean. Parking spaces are available directly in front of the restaurant.

We have been visiting this location sometimes more and sometimes less for over 20 years now. We have never been disappointed here! The waitresses are super friendly across the board and try to accommodate your every wish. Very clear recommendation. Keep it up! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We recently had a spontaneous meal there with friends. The service was very nice and attentive. My son loved the fenced-in playground and I had a good view of it from the winter garden. The food was brought quickly and we were all full. Clear recommendation and we will come back :-)

I was simply thrilled, the breakfast buffet was great, I was visiting a friend in Kevelaer and I live in the Westerwald, unfortunately too far away

A cozy country ranch. Our place was in the winter garden, which is less cozy. My salad was delicious, but the turkey strips that went with it were fried for far too long and were therefore very dry. Too bad. The service was friendly, but apparently overwhelmed. We sat in front of the eaten plates for about an hour. These were only cleared away when asked and we were only then able to order drinks again. I hope this was an exception, but I won't be eating there again anytime soon.

Found the breakfast very pleasant. Easier to handle than on a cruise ship. No constant running around to put something on the plate. Although there is no sea around, the breakfast is good, thanks to the previous management. Very attentive. The staff is probably on a ship...

Not recommended for brunch, especially not for vegetarians/vegans. The selection is extremely limited and the buffet consists mainly of ready-made products - predominantly sweet desserts. There was a particular lack of fresh fruit and vegetables. There was only a mixed salad of vegetables and canned pineapple as fruit. Otherwise the atmosphere was fine.

It's always delicious to eat with you.

We spontaneously decided on the American finger food buffet. It was ok, but consisted mostly of finished products. Really very cheap for that. Our little one (11) had fun and it only cost 5.50 euros for him. The cleanliness of the toilets urgently needs to be worked on.

Stopped here spontaneously because we felt like having coffee in the afternoon. Even though there wasn't much going on, we sat there for a few minutes until a service came. Since we couldn't find what we were looking for on the menu, I asked the waiter if there were any cakes or waffles (after all, it's called a cafe). The only sweet dishes there are apple fkamm cake or the dessert from the weekly menu, in this case a strawberry-rhubarb crumble. We then ordered 2 coffees and the crumble. The coffees came after about 5 minutes, and I had to wait another 35 minutes for the food that I would have liked to have with my coffee. Yes it was tasty, but basically just warmed up cake with a scoop of ice cream. I don't understand why it takes 40 minutes when the store isn't full. We won't go there again.

The food is very tasty. The staff friendly and quick. There is also a small but nice play area for children.

Very good Sunday brunch buffet! A hot drink is included in the price. Great selection of food. Everything you could wish for from scrambled eggs to a large selection of salads and, to top it all off, the delicious bedside tables! Simply heavenly. Afterwards there was a small selection of warm dishes, also very tasty, but there wasn't much left in it. The only thing I would wish for was osaft at the buffet.

Breakfast: baked rolls and other ready-made stuff. Nothing fresh, little selection. No juices. Overall not recommended at all. Service: expandable Location: Old and dilapidated. Broken and uneven wooden floor. For older people, sometimes life-threatening. Unbearable climate zone when the sun is shining.

As always, we were completely satisfied!!!!! You won't find this selection everywhere (buffet) and if something is missing, it will be refilled immediately!! By the way, the staff was once again world class, I just say keep it up and we will come back to you often.

We probably had to wait three quarters of an hour for food, even though we only had a salad and a schnitzel with fries. The food tasted as if everything had been fried in the same fat. The schnitzel was definitely not fresh. I've never eaten something so bad. Fries also had a strange taste. Toilets could also have been cleaner. I can't recommend it.

Were there for Easter brunch. Food and service was great. Only our table in the party room wasn't that nice because everyone had to pass us and the room itself wasn't the nicest for a cozy brunch. One star deducted for that. Nevertheless, I can only recommend the store.

Was there several times for the breakfast buffet. The selection is good, but it used to be better. The service is friendly and quick. However, it is very crowded on weekends, so you have to wait a long time at the buffet and conversations are difficult because of the volume.

Delicious schnitzel and also fries

My husband and I had been eating at Alex again for some time now. Before the boss got off work, she said to us...the minced meat for your hamburger is currently being put together....whatever that meant, she left the restaurant and said with a thumbs up, toi, toi, toi.. ..another half hour passed and I got mine Bbq beef hamburger, had already started even though my husband hadn't gotten anything yet and that was it. When the waitress came and asked if we needed another plate, we found out there was nothing...we only ordered the burger. ...even though I repeated what he was getting 3 times....until she understood....I had my burger packed....not a word of apology, on the contrary, for the 0.75l bottle of water that arrived at 7.20 Euro usury...we would like to celebrate our 25th anniversary there again with our extended family, but then prefer another location...they will never see us again

Small but somehow cool shop, it was our first time there. Event was good "Moquai" and prices are okay. Ambiance is cool too.

The only (somewhat) positive point first: -The playground next door (which is outdated and in need of renovation) is quite ok. So, now the rest: Food: a well-intentioned 4, trending towards 5! Drinks: ditto Service: ditto The quality of the food has deteriorated immensely and it wasn't great years ago! Schnitzel is swimming in fat, pasta dish is inedible (someone must have confused sugar with salt), nuggets are burnt. Expired drinks were served Service really bad! The waitress' recommendation for my daughter was a joke. She wanted some nuggets with fries, as a children's portion. She got a mountain of fries (easily enough for 3 people) with burnt nuggets. My wife's sweet noodles were commented on with a "hmm, ok". I'm only reviewing our food here, but the other guests' food wasn't any better either... A lot has to be done!

Always recommended. Especially with children. And dogs are also allowed and feel comfortable there.

I ordered a gypsy schnitzel with croquettes. As I write this review I am sitting on the toilet and have a stomach ache. Unfortunately the schnitzel was just cheap. It tasted like it came from the freezer. Just not tasty. The croquettes were wobbly and not crispy. The food was just bad. The service was very nice but the waiting times left a lot to be desired. I just can't recommend it.

We went for brunch on a Sunday. The food was good and, in my opinion, of high quality. The service was friendly, nice and accommodating. The ambience was nice but the buffet area was a bit too dark for me. Two more lamps or slightly brighter bulbs could fix this. The restaurant was clean and the sanitary area was bright and large enough. Handicapped accessible and changing table included. Conclusion: Price/performance is good even if drinks are extra. It was a nice stay and we would like to come back.

Waren dort schon öfters zum Brunch. Personal sehr aufmerksam und super freundlich. Das Buffet zum Frühstück und Mittagessen hat alles was man sich darunter vorstellt. Speisen waren sehr lecker. Einzig alleine das Ambiente ist nicht ganz meins. Sehr Hellhörig und kalt im Ambiente.

Die Räumlichkeiten sind etwas veraltet. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, die wechselnde Wochenkarte enthält immer leckere neue Gerichte.

Ein sehr schönes Landgasthaus, in dem man sich zu jeder Jahreszeit wohlfühlt. Egal ob im Sommer im Biergarten oder im Herbst / Winterzeit in den Gasträumen. Hier kann man es sich gut gehen lassen, dafür sorgt nicht nur das stets freundliche Personal, sondern auch die Speise und Getränkekarte. Da stimmt das Preis / Leistungsverhältnis zu 100%! Und die wechselde sehr einfallsreich gestaltete Wochenkarte und die sehr guten Cocktails sind schon lange kein Geheimtipp mehr!

An sich lecker, aber Ausschilderungen für das Buffet wären super. (Vegetarisch, Nuss, Schweinefleisch, usw.) Grüntee wird leider falsch zubereitet. Schmeckt dadurch einfach nicht.

Bei dem Frühstücksbuffet hat man sehr viel Auswahl, alles frisch und lecker.

Nettes Ambiente mit ganz guten Essen. Service war an dem Tag unseres Besuchs leider etwas überfordert.

Schöne Speisekarte mit leckeren und frisch zubereiteten Speisen. Jede Woche tolle und neue Tagesgerichte. Empfehlenswert.

Brunchen ist dort echt lohnenswert. Preis und Leistung passen bei guter, reichhaltiger Auswahl. Vom "Dinner" an einem anderen Tag war ich nicht so überzeugt.

Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe zu einem Linedance-Abend dort. Das Ambiente ist toll, gemütlich, herzlich. Das Essen wird in Buffetform dargebracht. Hier ist genug Auswahl, sowohl vegetarisch als auch mit Fleisch. Fingerfood gibt es, Burger oder HotDogs zum Selbermachen, aber auch fertige Gerichte. Nachtisch ist einiges an Auswahl, wurde aber leider nicht nachgelegt. Ich hätte gern mehr als nur eines probieren können. Geschmeckt hat alles. Getränke sind günstig, es gibt Astra Kiezmische, das finde ich mega! Der Service im Tanzraum war überfordert, evtl. fehlte aber auch eine Bedienung? Ansosnten war es ein sehr gelungener Abend, wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

Frühstücksbuffet war lecker, reichlich ,Abwechslungsreich und frisch.Nur leider die Möbel und der Fußboden könnten mal erneuert werden.

War zum zweiten mal dort. Ich bin der Meinung das zu wenig Personal anwesend war. Das Essen wurde nicht zeitnah nachgefüllt. Wie schon erwähnt, liegt am fehlenden Personal. Würde aber wieder hin gehen.

Wir kommen immer wieder sehr zufrieden

Wir waren vor zwei Monaten da und heute Abend. Das Essen war beide Male super und die Bedienung top. Der Preis für das Essen ist sehr günstig.

Hallo rein zufällig beim Vorbeifahren entdeckt und mal ausprobiert wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder dahin fahren es lohnt sich.

Waren dort zum Buffet. Thema war Bayern. Also Leberkäse, Weißwurst usw. Sehr lecker. Alles wurde rasch nachgefüllt. Der Preis war auch völlig in Ordnung. Ansich eine nette Location wo auch ab und zu Partys stattfinden. Gehe auf Jedenfall wieder hin. Ganz kleines Manko...die Straßengeräusche. Aber das lag auch mehr an unseren gewählten Sitzplatz.
