ALEX Bremen Waterfront in Bremen

We were invited there for brunch. The buffet was ok but nothing special. Refilling didn't work very well. Unfortunately, many of the labels were still correct, such as: E.g. the strawberry jam was yellow and the apricot jam was red🧐. The waiter at our table was completely overwhelmed. When our hostess wanted to pay, the waiter only gave the OK for card payment when she realized how much TIP she was giving. I thought it was cheeky. Too expensive for my taste for an average breakfast.

I can only recommend it. It got a bit expensive, so I'm thinking about eating there again. But otherwise fine.

I have rarely eaten such a great burger. But the team was even more impressive. Super friendly waiters who enjoy their work and get along well with each other! The waiting time, even though we were there with a group of 19 people and there were also other guests, was more than completely ok. Everyone was served fresh and hot food at the same time and within 15 minutes

Went to dinner with you in the evening. The starter, main courses and dessert were super leggy🤤 and we were also really excited about the legger smoothies. The staff was in a very good mood👍🏼 We'd love to come back there

Plus: Get a table for 2 without a reservation. It was very loud. When we sat down, we were asked directly what we wanted to eat without even looking at the menu. Every 2 minutes we were asked again, which made us feel uncomfortable, as if we were being processed quickly. In hindsight I have to say that the poor waiter ran the whole place by himself. The “colleagues” stood at the counter and watched as the waiter, who was actually responsible for the tables in the corner where we were sitting, got his feet sore. Impossible. We were very sorry. While we waited for our food, we had a look into the open kitchen - it's always very interesting how much they do at once. Unfortunately, I have to give out strong criticism here too: My girlfriend's steak was touched with her bare fingers, then the chicken fillet for me, then into the salad bowls, then a piece of salmon was cut, vegetables were touched, etc. All without washing her hands in between and without gloves. Some may not see it as critically, but these days there are vegetarians, vegans, intolerances and even religious views that do not support something so unhygienic. We won't come again.

Our number 1 when it comes to breakfast buffets. Always something free for 2 people during the week. We are regulars. Good selection and everything was super tasty.

We went to Alex in the Waterfront for the breakfast buffet. The food was tasty, but the selection was rather average. Refilling sometimes took a while, but overall it was fine. For a relaxed start to the day, you can definitely have breakfast here.

The person also served us 👍, a very friendly waitress with a generous smile on her face 😀. The breakfast was very rich and well prepared 😁🙏. Everything was very good and it was a very nice stay in the Waterfront. The friendly waitress has a wave on her menu😁👍????

I had the curry... It was super tasty... Nice and spicy but still very pleasant. The drinks like this violet lemonade were simply delicious. The rooms are also almost perfect... It was just really nice there.

Yesterday the two of us spontaneously went to Alex's before a concert and what can I say... our snacks came first at some point, then by chance another employee ran by and noticed that our drinks were missing (he had also mentioned this) we then got our drinks. A little later we ordered dessert, my cake came straight away, but not with Bueno sauce and cream as stated on the menu but just the cake, my companion's dessert came 20 minutes later. We ordered the same drink, but one ingredient was missing so we decided to get a different one, one came in a much larger glass than the other... same price (apart from the fact that they forgot that we ordered 2 and had to wait for them) In the end we were charged more money than we should have paid and despite asking, we didn't receive an invoice. (Instead of around 60, we were charged 67, we are the last ones who don't leave a tip, but to just add that up and combined with bad service... brazen!!)

We were there on Saturday before the cinema with a table reservation. At first there was no table available, but in no time we were assigned another table by a nice lady. The waiter assigned to us was extremely unfriendly and then whispered to us that the meal would take at least an hour. We had generally planned enough time before the film but it was too risky for us and we left again. You can understand that you may not have enough staff, but then you can't fill the store to capacity. Then it's better not to accept reservations.

Food was very tasty. There were 3 of us there and the waiter named Ilias was very nice and friendly to us. He was very relaxed. We'd love to come back

Great location, friendly staff and super delicious food. Even if you visit spontaneously, you can get a seat quickly and generally don't have to wait long. The breakfast buffet was a dream and great care was taken to ensure that there was always something of everything, very good 👌.

I really liked the breakfast at Alex Waterfront, especially the waitress Sonia, who always tried to fulfill our wishes. We would happily have breakfast here again at any time. 1 star deducted from the ambience rating because the seating is getting old.

I actually ate an excellent currywurst with delicious fries here today, there was absolutely nothing wrong with it, except for the price. So be it. We then had Kaiserschmarrn, but there was no fruity side dish, such as applesauce. Alex used to serve it with a bowl of hot plum compote. Just Kaiserschmarrn with a scoop of vanilla ice cream is too bland and too expensive. I wouldn't order this again. The service could have been friendlier, not even a "thank you" for the tip. Things are somehow nicer at Alex's on the Domshof.

Never tried cocktails before. Was invited by my brother-in-law and tried 4 different ones. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and can only warmly recommend this restaurant. Our pizza rolls were also warm 😁. The service from Nele and Laila was remarkably customer-oriented and friendly👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 all in all: I'll be back👍🏼

I had a lovely catchup with my little sister. Nele, our friendly service member, helped me finding gluten free food. The salmon bowl was delicious.

We went to Alex for the brunch buffet at the weekend and unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. First of all: The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and there was a relatively large selection of food, including breakfast. However, I can easily get most of them very cheaply in the supermarket, in fact some of them wouldn't be on my table ;-) Ham was completely missing. The only fish I saw was salmon, which was plentiful but tasted poor, and there were a few delicatessen salads. Vegetables were sparsely offered, tomato, cucumber, green salad. Fruit - none. Just a ready-made fruit salad - not for allergy sufferers. Sugared breakfast pops etc. available, no muesli - neither sweet nor without, bowls with sugary cream. All in all, unfortunately it's no longer up to date these days. And no, I don't eat sugar-free, meat-free or with restrictions, just a little consciously. With a little effort, you could still add a few things inexpensively to at least take into account the demands for healthier eating. That would be nice, as the concept and the price are quite interesting and I otherwise always like to visit Alex. P.S. I can't say anything about the "brunch portion" of the buffet, I just saw it but didn't try it.

The place is super nice, but... the waiter was Turkish, an older man, and he spoke to me in German. I asked if there was anyone who spoke English (since they greeted me in English from the entrance). At first the waiter refused to call the other waiter but then another guy came who spoke English and was super friendly. The treatment by the older man was shameful!!!!! I also have a restaurant and if that happens in my restaurant I assure you that the waiter lasts 1 minute.

Hey, yes, it's excellent here as always. We feel particularly comfortable with “Adnan”. You almost feel like you're part of the family. We always come with a dog and the first thing he gets is a bowl of fresh water. It's especially nice in the warmer seasons when you can sit outside again.

We were there yesterday and yes, what can you say, if I want deep fryers and microwave food, I can stay at home and save the money for the food. It was clearly far too expensive, we reserved a quiet table and sat right next to the kitchen where you could see the food coming out of the deep fryer or microwave. They served the salad out of bags. So for the money we left there, we could have gone somewhere else. That was the first and last time we were there.

The food was very tasty, but I think the price-performance ratio for a Caesar salad is more than excessive. This medium was ordered from the Ugly ButcherBurger, but was delivered well done. The hummus falafel starter tastes great, but I've never seen falafel that small before. Our waitress Ahmed was great. Simply great, attentive and tried to fulfill all wishes. Likeable, open-minded young man who offered customer-oriented service despite only just being trained. In general, the music and the location are very loud, so the coziness is somewhat lost.

We were at the New Year's Eve party. The food was ok, the service and the team were very friendly, the music from DJ Christian Lass was very good. A well-rounded thing.

A very nice place with good food, although small portions. We had a Caesar salad with breaded cauliflower, very delicious, and a special burger.

We were there for brunch on Sunday. Reservation is required in advance. You have a large selection of sausages, cheese, etc. The smoothies are highly recommended. Unfortunately the rolls were quite hard and very brown. The service was very good and really friendly. I would still go again.
