Perfect services and with a menu with a variety of beverages, sweets and dishes with meat and fried or differently cooked potatoes. Alex Bar Cafeteria at Domshof has one of the most amazing menus in Bremen and in the whole of Germany. The employees there are quick and amazing. They serve each client really quickly. The view of the city centre is equally impressive from the inside of Alex and not just from the outside tables when they serve food, coffee and drinks.

Unfortunately, in my opinion, Alex has waned quite a bit over the last few years. Were there for breakfast (during the week). Unfortunately very poor for 15€. There was almost only pork. The sausage was only labeled pork everywhere. Poultry was on the same tray, no signage about it. I also asked specifically, but a “it should be that” ...sorry, I can't eat then. The scrambled eggs were served with and without diced bacon and only a large spoon was needed to remove them. There was also no signage for the different types of cream cheese, salmon was completely removed from the range, but as far as I know it had always been there in previous years. Unfortunately not for guests who want to know what they're eating and don't care about the types of meat. That's better. My companion in Hackepeter had very long blonde hair. We also communicated/showed it. Was very unappetizing. Ambience okay, music a bit loud. The toilets could also be cleaner. Probably won't come back. Too bad!

4 cakes were ordered, only 2 were delivered. When I asked to bring the other two, the waitress didn't come after 20 minutes. After this time we didn't want the 2 cakes anymore and asked for a bill and she said she had only written down 2 cakes

Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet now leaves more and more to be desired. The rolls are sticky, the boiled eggs are ice cold and the supply is becoming increasingly sparse. We paid 48 euros for two people! For the price, the goods and the selection clearly have to be better. In addition, the upper area is pretty dirty. There is a need for improvement! The service is still great! This time we were here for the breakfast buffet. The selection is large and it is always refilled plentifully and quickly. The prices are great! However, you have to make a reservation on weekends. Otherwise there is no space! I will be happy to come back. The food is really tasty and the drink selection is great. There's nothing to complain about there. Unfortunately, waiting times are often very long. But I still like coming here. The staff is always super friendly.

Even though the building is a bit older (and I am) it still has a nice atmosphere for me and I like the coffee!

We were there for breakfast on Sunday. The waiter (short blonde hair) upstairs was very courteous and helpful. The service was excellence. We didn't have to wait long for drinks and our plates were picked up regularly and quickly. The breakfast buffet was very appealing and tasty. At the "eiecke" you often have to queue, which is stupid because the stairs lead to the toilet there and there is often a lot of traffic there. Of course it was quite loud on a Sunday. But that's complaining at a high level. We'll definitely be back. P.s. very child friendly. We also get an ojuice and a drawing pad.

I actually didn't want to go in there, as it doesn't fit the space architecturally OK, a thirst for coffee and a craving for something sweet drove me into a nice atmosphere with friendly service and the best waffle (Bueno@Choco) of my life Come in and find out

I've been a regular at your cafe for a long time, but the experiences I've had recently are really disappointing. Cleanliness and hygiene are almost completely ignored. Dirty tea glasses and cutlery are commonplace, and lipstick stains on beer glasses have now become normal. Orders arrive either incomplete or incorrect. The grooves on the tables are full of dirt and it is really unpleasant to sit at such tables and see the dirt in the grooves. It makes me very sad that a place I always enjoyed visiting has fallen into such decline. Although I have reported the problem to staff several times, nothing has changed. The situation has now become really disturbing. I hope you take this criticism to heart and take the necessary measures to improve cleanliness. Otherwise I no longer feel like visiting this place anymore. And I'm sure other customers are just as annoyed by this situation as I am.

Well, we couldn't even order the food. All the tables around us were served. So we moved on hungry. 1P Ü80 and arrival from Thuringia. Hmm, hospitality looks different. That's why I can't rate the rest. The lemonade was good.

The falafel bowl is mediocre at best: falafel is dry, edamame is obviously no longer fresh and simply not enough for the price.

We ordered 3 burgers and 3 steaks. Burgers were "okay" (meat 6/10, sauce 4/10, fries 9/10), but the steaks were delicious!

We went here for brunch and can highly recommend it. There is - not an endless amount - but enough choice and for the price (approx. 15 € per person) it is completely okay. There is also a small orange juice, other drinks have to be ordered and paid for separately. The atmosphere was quite nice, as it is in Alex when you know it. We'd love to come back for brunch!

We sat as a group on the first floor. There you had a nice view of the weekly market. We ordered curry with rice, hamburger and a bowl. Everyone really enjoyed it. The service was very friendly. We also had cocktails and cappuccino ☕ (lactose-free) 👍🏼 one of the three toilets was broken. Which is why queues formed. I really liked the atmosphere.

Location is good, staff is nice. But the prices are very steep. Had a Gozya Bowl, there was almost nothing in it. 2 hours later I'm totally hungry again at home. And I'm not a 2 meter guy with a huge appetite, but am happy with normal portions instead. Just add a little more rice to the bowl, it doesn't cost much and at least you'll be full.

The store has a good location and a nice selection on the menu but otherwise - the service is bad. Went there for lunch today, ordered a beer and “slow cooked beef” for €24.40. I got beer… and that was it. After I asked where was my order, the waiter explained to me that slow cooked beef (marked green on the menu) is not a dish, but a cooking method. Thanks for nothing, unfortunately no recommendation 👎

When I went for breakfast I found the price-performance ratio to be quite inconsistent. There are several exotic items, but not much of a regular selection. Sometimes there were dirty plates at the buffet😶

We were here for breakfast with a large group. Service was great, the atmosphere was nice, although very loud. The food just average. The fruit salad was fermenting, the warm dishes were just lukewarm. Unfortunately breakfast is only a buffet.

Wir waren heute im Alex am Domshof zum Brunch. Es gab als warme Speisen nur Kartoffelgratin mit Brokkoli und ein undefinierbares Geschnetzeltes mit Reis. Wir waren um 11 - 13 Uhr dort und das warme Essen war ab 12 Uhr kalt und wurde nicht mehr neu aufgefüllt. Die Löffel waren vollgeschmiert vom Kartoffelgratin und nicht ausgetauscht. Das Geschnetzelte wurde glaube ich gar nicht angerührt. Stand ja auch nicht drauf , was da drin war. Selbst die Spiegeleier und das Rührei waren kalt. Außerdem gab es nichts mit Geflügel. Wenn man kein Schwein isst, ist es echt dürftig gewesen . Für das Angebot echt zu teuer. Wir können uns so etwas nicht häufig leisten und waren sehr enttäuscht. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, konnte uns aber auch keine Antwort auf unsere Fragen geben. Also für die Bedienung 2 Sterne.

Quite okay, breakfast was only available as a buffet or buttered rolls. Seems like the staff are paid to be in a good mood (better than being served by curmudgeons).

The selection at brunch during the week is rather average. The staff is friendly. A large coffee costs over €20. The chairs were uncomfortable. All in one, you can do it, but you don't have to repeat it.

Unfortunately the building is getting old and not much is being done to the building. (e.g. toilets) Food was ok.

We have known Alex Domshof for years and come every now and then. So far the weather has been mostly good, so we always ate outside. Today we are experiencing a different dimension. The two of us come in around 9:00 a.m. 3 tables are occupied, all the rest except for 2 narrow tables are reserved. In good faith we sit down at the table shown to us. Not even 10 minutes later a couple came in, spoke English and had absolutely no reservations, and were promptly taken to a much larger table. We observed the situation in astonishment, at which point a local, elderly mother came in with her 35-year-old son. They could even choose everything else apart from 2 tables. So CONCLUSION; what's going on here? As far as breakfast is concerned, price performance is satisfactory, selection good, friendliness, well. The customer satisfaction screw must be turned upwards vigorously.

Unfortunately it was sent away because I didn't want to sit in the sun. There were many free shaded areas, but they didn't want to serve me there. I used to like going to Alex.

It was my first time at ALEX and I was pleasantly surprised. The location in the center of Bremen and only two stops from the main train station. We sat in the restaurant, but there is also an interesting outdoor dining area where, in contrast to the indoor area, you can also smoke at some tables. From my point of view, a well-rounded thing.

The cake red velvet was dry and not fresh. It tasted like it was backed a few days ago.

Breakfast OK, Stop standard. The buffet is okay but not a highlight either. Except the chocolate pudding, which was pretty awesome!! Of course, drinks cost extra. Otherwise, classic Alex ambience, loud and more suitable for a company meeting than for a relaxed get-together

I am in favor of fair reviews and also see locations from many perspectives. But I've never seen anything like that in any ALEX. I now know all the ALEX's all over Germany, but this location can't be beaten when it comes to dirtiness. The outside seating was dirty, even after they had been cleared, the tables were cleaned with dirty rags. When you are asked to clean the table, you are greeted and looked at stupidly. The women's toilet is so dirty at 10:30 in the morning that you have to be afraid of catching something. You come up from the toilets and see a rotten buffet. Open dry sausage, dried out mozzarella and yoghurts. It's a shame that it doesn't seem to work in Bremen to turn the name or location into an oasis of well-being. The staff was very unfriendly and stressed in the morning 😣 in my opinion a no go 👎 Unfortunately, you have to be allowed to rate it that way because Bremen has many coffees, similar chains that are much better recommended and, above all, super clean 🧼

A great ambience and very nice and very courteous service. We had to wait a bit for the food, but it was worth it! In my opinion, prices are very close to the limit. Our waitress, a young woman, was super nice. We were totally satisfied and would love to come back.

The meals are large in portion and filling. The prices are also very good compared to the taste. However, I don't understand why the drinks are expensive. Coke is about 4 euros. Even water is 3 or so. Also, the toilets were not very clean, there were napkins everywhere. Waiters are attentive. The place is stylish and the location is beautiful.

Service is not available. The waitress pointedly ignored my friends and I, after 45 minutes of waiting we decided to leave. We were all speechless. We would like to know why we can't drink and eat in this store like other customers. Give Alex a list of who gets service or is served and which visitors are not welcome. It saves time and nerves.

Super nice service. Conveniently located near the Bremen town hall, cathedral and market. Had ordered ice cream, which was changed according to our wishes!! My salted caramel bowl with tarte flambée chips was the best ice cream I have ever tasted in this combination. Very, very tasty!!!👍😋

Nice location. priced ok. The bruschetta was below average. Tasty-free tomatoes, seasoned only with pesto. The non-alcoholic cocktail could have had a more pronounced taste.

Lots of staff present, but you get the impression that many don't like working there.. (could just be a snapshot) The iced tea was delicious! The turmeric latte was great, but you have to pay 60ct extra for the plant-based milk, a big minus point.

Alex at the Waterfront is a large restaurant. The food is wonderful. The bruscetta is quite good. We had pasta which also tasted very good. Wonderful service from Yadwinder, thank you very much!

I can't judge the food (no consumption). Service slightly annoyed and listless (that can happen). The atmosphere at the Domshof is very pleasant - when the construction site on the street is finished.

Don't come here!!!!!! Unfortunately, no food hygiene standards are adhered to. I was there yesterday morning and today I'm stuck with salmonella poisoning and can't even keep water down. My guess is THE SCRAMBLED EGGS. This is served here partially raw and was clearly contaminated with salmonella. Under no circumstances come here!

We went to Alex for brunch today. The service was excellent and friendly. The breakfast, although rich, was poor. The mozzarella was inedible. The bacon was burnt and black. The cappuccino tasted like coffee with milk. But it probably has more to do with the type of coffee. Only the scrambled eggs and the croissants were recommended. We still left after about 20 minutes with a slight stomach ache. So we wouldn't have brunch there anymore. The service here was very good.

A beautiful, unique atmosphere due to the prominent location and outstanding architecture. The waitresses are consistently friendly. A little too much food from the deep fryer and too small portions of salads, rice pans, bowls etc. at quite "sporty" prices. Drinks, on the other hand, are absolutely OK. O.
