Actually, the food here doesn't deserve a star at all. Any chip shop nearby has better options, and at a better price, too. Simply overpriced and inedible.

With the high entrance fees, food at the zoo has become very exclusive for a family. 2 currywursts + 2 cold drinks = €18.20.

Gelsenkirchen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany The best kebab shop far and wide! This shop was the kebab of my childhood and youth; it had a positive impact on the 90s in Gelsenkirchen. I've known the owners since I was a little girl and have always eaten there regularly. No other kebab shop has ever managed to match the quality of the meat. The staff were always friendly, the kebabs were cut with love, and people even came from far away just to eat here, at a time before social media. A true family business steeped in tradition. I sincerely hope the shop reopens one day; it remains a wonderful memory for me. 5 stars
