In principle, it's a great place, but we had a disappointing experience. My girlfriend and I each ordered a medium steak with sides. When the steaks arrived, I discovered that mine was anything but medium; it was practically raw. My girlfriend's steak was even more disappointing, as the underside was completely burnt and inedible. We sent both steaks back, and after a 15-minute wait, we received them again. My steak was fine, but my girlfriend's was served incorrectly again, this time completely bloody inside. On the third attempt, she was finally able to eat it. It's a shame that such an experience, combined with the long wait and repeated disappointment, can really put you off your food. Our waiter was extremely polite and made sure the food was finally served correctly. We could tell he was embarrassed after we sent the food back a second time, so we're very grateful to him; he was incredibly kind. ' ... The atmosphere was lovely overall, but it was too crowded and noisy. Of course, it was the Christmas season with all the festivities. We'd gladly come again, but during the week. The food was fantastic, and the service was very friendly despite the busy schedule.

We came to have dinner with a group of 4 friends and everything was really great. The staff were especially very attentive and very friendly. They were really helpful and we were very pleased.

The meat was perfectly medium-rare, although the fat on the roast beef was unfortunately a little tough. The side dishes were also very tasty. I had the grilled vegetables. The shandy could have used a bit more lemon flavor. Otherwise, it was freshly tapped. The service was super friendly and attentive. Prices are absolutely reasonable. Overall, I would give it a 4.5.

I recently ate here and ordered chicken breast with grilled vegetables. Unfortunately, the meat was oversalted, very dry, and had a strange, slightly rubbery texture. Furthermore, it didn't look like a normal chicken breast; it was flattened, almost like a schnitzel. I had also imagined the grilled vegetables to be different—instead of grilled vegetables, they were smothered in tomato sauce, more like a ragout, and the taste was unfortunately not convincing. I complained about the dish and received a new portion, but it tasted exactly the same, which confirmed my impression that the meat had already been marinated or precooked. Tip: If you order poultry here, you should ask beforehand if it will be freshly prepared. The service was friendly and professional, and the dish was fairly removed from the bill. The lamb skewers were okay, but could have been seasoned more strongly.

We ate at Al Carbon's before an event at the Rudolf Weber Arena. We weren't the only ones with this idea, so it was extremely crowded. Nevertheless, the waiters and kitchen staff weren't overwhelmed. Service was quick, and the food was exceptionally good. In short: We walked over to the arena very satisfied and well-fed; everything went perfectly.

The food was sensational, the waiter Zoli anticipated our every need and was incredibly quick with his service even though the place was packed. So why the bad review? Because there was a man with green glasses, who, upon inquiry, turned out to be the restaurant manager, who constantly paced back and forth around our table, snapping at his staff for no apparent reason. He berated the bartender at every opportunity and threw crumpled-up receipts at the employees. All the staff were incredibly hardworking, there was no queue (we could clearly see this from our table), and all the other guests around us were served promptly. The only one who just paced around in a completely disorganized manner and couldn't seem to get anything done. As guests, we found it very unpleasant how this jerk disrupted the wonderful atmosphere of the restaurant and were truly embarrassed by his behavior towards his staff.

The gentleman who served us was extremely friendly and personable. He gave us good advice and was also very friendly to our children. The ambiance was also very nice. Everything was very well-kept and comfortable. All in all, a very pleasant experience. We will definitely be back.

We had reserved a table at Al Carbon online. Upon arrival, we were asked about our seating preference—middle or near the edge. We received excellent advice on our steak selection and were presented with alternatives. After the appetizer (pimentos and bread with aioli), we were asked if we wanted the main course to come to the kitchen. The steak and the burger were grilled to perfection and very tasty. We felt very comfortable and can recommend the restaurant. Due to its design, it can get a bit noisy at higher volumes.

For such top quality, ambiance, and outstanding service, the price was exceptionally reasonable. Dry-aged roast beef with rosemary potatoes and mixed salad, a special cheeseburger, and beef fillet with potato gratin, plus three homemade mango/passion fruit drinks, for €135 is simply unbeatable. Respect for a truly successful evening. Highly recommended.

We had lunch. You actually get a side of aioli with every dish, I mean. There were three of us and we had five pieces of bread. If you come alone, do you only get one slice? Nevertheless, the aioli was very good. The Spanish platter was also good. Two steaks were rare/medium rare. It wasn't a big deal. The waiter was in a good mood and always had a good joke.

The children's food and drinks arrived faster than we could blink, so we as parents could enjoy our meal later in peace. The meat was cooked to order. The only drawback was that we had to have it warmed up in between. The mussels arrived relatively cold, and the prawns tasted even better hot. It's served on a tower, where everything cools down faster. A hot lava stone or heated plate might be better...
