Akropolis in Naumburg (Saale)

Maria is a wonderful hostess who takes great care of her guests. The food—we had the Acropolis platter for two—was outstanding! The meat was cooked to perfection and deliciously seasoned. The tzatziki and salad were fresh and varied. Simply fantastic!

The food was great and very authentic. The outdoor seating is great. The service was also super friendly. We'll definitely be back.

Just like I imagine a Greek restaurant. Unfortunately they only take cash. If you're having a big party with several people, paying by card would really be desirable. Hence a star deduction.

Since my childhood I have been visiting this wonderful and best Greek restaurant Naumburg's - "Akropolis" at Bürgergartenstrasse 15 🥰 - and am thrilled every time. Here we cook with a lot of love and passion - you can taste it in every bite 😊 The rump steak was simply perfect: tender and with a great grilled taste. A real highlight for steak lovers. The stuffed peppers with feta were also a delight - soft but firm to the bite, with a creamy, spicy filling and a delicious tomato sauce. Simply delicious 😋 A big compliment to the boss, who is not only a fantastic cook, but also creates a warm, familiar atmosphere with her team. Everything is freshly prepared and you immediately feel welcome with a friendly smile. 😊 The warmth of the team, the authentic Greek cuisine and the attention to detail make a visit here a very special experience. 🌟 This restaurant not only offers great Greek cuisine, but also genuine hospitality and top quality. I always enjoy coming back and can only warmly recommend it 👍 For me, this restaurant remains an absolute matter of the heart - I'm already looking forward to the next visit ❤️

Even though we hadn't made a reservation, a table for two was made available to us on Saturday evening. The restaurant was full, but the service was quick and very friendly. We haven't eaten so well in a long time. Price/performance is right here.

Very tasty food, especially the starter salad was great! Rarely eaten such high quality from a Greek. There were enough free parking spaces on the street.

We wanted to eat here today while passing through. Unfortunately we discovered at the door that card payment was not possible. We ate somewhere else. This can be done in one Restaurant just no longer. I wanted to invite my colleagues.

I've never seen such a lovingly prepared salad plate, everything was wonderful, the service staff was super nice to us, I had dinner with my brother yesterday, we both really enjoyed it there, thank you very much, I'll be back.

Always worth a visit if you want to eat well, a delicious and generous salad plate is included with almost all dishes. The dishes are very varied and delicious. I can use the grill plate e.g. I can only recommend it because you have a variety of different meat dishes.

Loving dishes, attractively prepared and simply delicious! Absolutely recommended for a girls' night, a date or a meal with friends and family. Everyone throws love it!.

The side salad is amazing (it can be used as a main course elsewhere!), the portions are decent and the service is very nice!!! Highly recommended

From the start the service was very rude and not at all hospitable. We were missing one person because they couldn't attend, so we were removed from our reserved table in a very unfriendly manner and repositioned at another table, not a problem per se, but the sound makes the music. The starter salad was very good. The food itself was a disaster, almost everyone had a dish with Metaxa sauce, you looked for it in vain, it was more of a tomato sauce with too many spices. A sauce was swimming with fat. The drinks were very watery. Never again, we were here for the first and last time.

Never again! Stale non-carbonated drinks When making comments, the waiters are annoyed and rude. Starters and main courses come together straight away. The main course was swimming in fat, after two bites there was a large piece of plastic in the food... The bill was written together and thrown on the table and was no longer taken into account. 0 stars! If you want to eat better from a culinary point of view -> the Bockwurst with rolls at Esso is excellent!

Everything was great! The food was beautifully prepared, the salad for the main course was lovingly and richly prepared. The meat dishes were also super tasty! The staff are lovely and friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. Definitely one of the best Greek restaurants I've been to. Top 👍 When I'm back in Naumburg, I'll come back.

Like almost every Saturday, every table was occupied today. Many guests are warmly welcomed - everyone knows each other. A quality feature. The cards and drinks arrive quickly. It's always amazing to us how quickly the delicious food finds its way to us, because Maria's salad is so delicious that you almost forget the time. The obligatory ouzo on the house and then let's get to the meat: whether it's lamb chops or lamb shanks with spinach and gratinated. We are thrilled again and would love to come back 🤩

Typical Greek restaurant. The rooms were a bit spartan but the food was very tasty for all 10 people. A small drop in service - but it was also very full, which is a good sign.

The starter salad is unique. We know the pepperoni better. But it's all a matter of taste.

All the staff were very, very friendly and the food was first class. I can only recommend it again and again.

Unfortunately, I was very dissatisfied with my visit there. First I got a drink that seemed to have already expired. It was bitter and fizzy even though it should have been sweet. Unfortunately, the salad wasn't my cup of tea at all, although I have to agree that one could write on the menu that the salad is so colorfully mixed. The main course was also a total flop, as pretty much all of the spices were missing and the meat was quite inedible. Of course, I didn't give a tip for such defects. But the waitress assumed that what I gave her would count as a tip without asking and then I didn't get much in return. I would have preferred not to pay for it at all!! The only nice thing there was the restaurant, otherwise it was a failure.

Can't understand the hype. Been there 3 times, 3 times so-so… the starter salad is great. But unfortunately that was the only thing that was really convincing. A pity.

Had dinner at Maria's again today. Again we were not disappointed!! Very tasty food as always! Have been guests since 1994, whether alone or with visitors. I can really warmly recommend it!!!! Maria, her son and the service girls are very warm people!!! Come by and enjoy. At the Best reserve if more than 2!! Otherwise you might not get a place!

If you are more than 3 people, you should call in advance and possibly make a table reservation as this restaurant is busy. Parking in the evening was no problem. Never again!! First I had to check in the kitchen to see if the dish (bifteki) I ordered was still available! And then it just wasn't there anymore and I had to use something else! To make matters worse, the wrong starter was delivered. The price-performance ratio is also a disaster. The starter was decent, but the main course for €19 had to be searched for on the plate. The service also left a lot to be desired, hardly anyone came to request new drinks.

We had eaten there again for a long time. The ambience and food was simply great. But you really have to like the way the service is served. Sometimes it seems very unfriendly. But that's apparently the boss's way. We had to laugh a lot at times, but I can imagine that not everyone will like that. We will be back definitely. 😃

Bestes Griechisches Restaurant weit und breit! Immer frisch und lecker, das Gyros zart und saftig. Wir lieben Maria's Vorsalat. Die Metaxa Soße schmeckt anders als bei den meisten, aber besser und frischer. Es ist gemütlich und ruhiger, da wir es hassen wenn es so laut ist wie auf einem Bahnhof. Kellnerin und Chefin immer freundlich und aufmerksam, da gibt man gerne mal ein paar Euro mehr Trinkgeld. Wir können es nur empfehlen! ❤️😘

Wir gehören zu den kulinarischen Fans vom Akropolis. Wenn wir in der Gegend von Naumburg sind, dann ist ein Besuch des Restaurants für uns ein Muss. Die sehr gute griechische Küche können auch wir wärmstens empfehlen. Die Herrin des Hauses, Maria, und ihr Personal haben eine freundliche Art und wir waren vom neuen angenehmen Ambiente positiv überrascht. Die Präsentation der Gerichte spiegelte dies durch Ansehnlichkeit und Üppigkeit wieder. Was soll dazu noch gesagt werden; es schmeckte uns vorzüglich, die weite Anreise hat sich für uns wieder gelohnt und die Rezension ist mehr als verdient. Unsere Bestellung: Lachs mit Gemüse, Bifteki (Hacksteak mit Feta) mit Pommes, gebackener Feta und dicke Bohnen mit Metaxa-Soße. Achtung: vorsichtshalber Reservieren.

War dort vor kurzen mit meiner Familie zum Abendessen. Sehr freundlich empfangen und auch von der Bedienung top. Man wartet auch nicht lange aufs Essen. Vom Ambiente her ist es ein bissl Urig eingerichtet. Ein wenig geärgert hatte ich mich nur, dass ich nicht wusste das am dem Tag oder vielleicht ist es auch generell so, Nur Bar zahlen konnte. Eine Info vorher, wenn das nur erwünscht ist, wäre super. Ansonsten bitte weiter so und ich komme gerne wieder.

Wieder mal einen sehr schönen Abend bei sehr gutem und reichlichem Essen im besten griechischem Restaurant in Naumburg verbracht. Hier kocht die Chefin selbst und zaubert den leckersten Vorspeisen-Salat, den ich gegessen habe! Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und das Essen wird schnell serviert. Großes Lob an die Küche... super lecker, denn da kocht die Chefin noch selbst. Jederzeit zu empfehlen. Vielen Dank für die griechische Gastlichkeit.

Das Essen im Akropolis war wirklich toll! Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Vorsalat. Dieser ist sowohl außergewöhnlich schön angerichtet, als auch super lecker. Herausstechend war vor allem die Kombination aus dem süßen Obst und den scharfen Pepperonis. Alleine diese kleine Vorspeise hat mich überzeugt.

Leckeres Essen, gutes Bier, eine stimmige Location. Zusammen mit dem guten Service passt alles. Unfair reduziert: Alleine der Vorspeisensalat ist schon einen Besuch wert.

Das mit Abstand beste griechische Restaurant in Naumburg und Umgebung. Preis/Leistung ist sehr gut.

Leckeres, griechisches Essen mit tollem Salat als Vorspeise. Gerade im Sommer ein toller Flair, wenn man draußen sitzt. Als Gericht ist definitiv die Fischplatte zu empfehlen.

Zum Glück hatte die Sushibar geschlossen somit haben wir auch noch dieses griechische Restaurant in Naumburg ausprobiert. Ungelogen, nicht nur in Naumburg sondern auch Gera und Umgebung der beste Grieche bei dem wir bis jetzt gegessen haben, nicht nur dieser tolle Vorspeisen Salat zu einigen Gerichten, den man so nirgends bekommt, sondern auch die Größe der Portionen im Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis! Dazu die Qualität, mehr als Lob an den Koch! Und dafür das die liebe Bedienung die Gäste alleine bedient hat, ist sie super freundlich, charmant und auf Zack geblieben!

Für uns der einzige echte Grieche in Naumburg.

Das Essen ist im allgemeinen sehr gut, insbesondere die Calamaris sind die besten in Naumburg. Die Getränkepreise sind allerdings zu hoch, insbesondere der griechische Wein.

Das Essen und der Service ist mega. Insbesondere der Salat den es zu einigen Hauptspeisen gibt hat es uns angetan.

Wir waren mit 6 Personen draußen im Garten. Die Servicedame war schnell und zuvorkommend. Das Essen, wir hatten unterschiedliche Gerichte, schmeckte uns allen sehr gut. Die Lammkotelettes, mein Gericht, waren sehr gut. Die Portionen sehr groß. Insbesondere die Beilagensalate waren außergewöhnlich. Das Restaurant Akropolis kann man wirklich weiterempfehlen
